Made my decision to buy from somewhere else easy! Everything you don't want in a car buying experience: confrontational staff, additional fees and charges, poor customer service. In two seperate occasions they confirmed an appt. to see a car, but didn't have it on the lot when I showed up. The also falsely advertise online to get you to their location, and then try to sell you another vehicle. Buy elsewhere!

Gustavo and Mike were friendly and worked with me. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a car, great service, and great deal, to come to Courtesy Chevrolet on Camelback.
I came in thinking I had no chance in the world to leave with a brand new car but Edwin and Robert were literally the best salesman you could ever ask for. I can t believe the deal I got and they were so nice and professional throughout the whole process. I can t imagine buying any more cars from anyone other than them. I already told my friends and family to go see them since we love buying Chevy cars!
Courtesy Chevrolet got the service I needed done, and even squeezed in time to handle a minor recall issue that I hadn't known about into the same service visit. They're great, which is why I still try to make it in at least once a year for a full inspection and service, despite living over 4 hours away!
UPDATED 6/1/16 I just want to state that my vehicle seems to be repaired correctly this time, thanks to my amazing service advisor Joe Monaco getting the job done. I'm not always the easiest person to deal with when I'm stressed out, but Joe is extremely courteous, patient, understanding, and funny. I have great communication with him and I'm thankful he is working at Courtesy Chevy. There needs to be more folks like him in this world. Thank you Joe!
My wife and I recently purchased a Chevy Traverse from Jared Renko. Jared was patient, understanding, and helpful navigating the sales process. He assisted in finding an alternate vehicle - our Traverse - when the original car we looked at turned out not to be what we thought it would. There was no doubt Jared was pushing to get the best deal he could. At the same time, I respect the way Jared pushed to "earn" our business and complete a sale the way a sales professional should! Once we got to financing, the people in that office were helpful in accommodating my and my wife's schedule and that of our three-month old to process documents quickly!
My visit to courtesy Chevrolet was 5 star because the sales person, Scott gruwell who was helpful in making my decisions. I was Leary about going out car shopping by myself , but he made me feel comfortable and was very helpful with answering any questions I had. Because of him I went home that night with exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Scott
My salesman was friendly, however the online price had about $2,500 of unexpected / unexplained "accessories" tacked on top of the base price. Practices like that seem deceptive, and if they're deceptive about small things they will be about large ones also.
Jesse the internet sales guy is shady he straight up told me during our test drive he was kicked out of the military for smoking weed I looked past that but it should of been a sign Don't trust these guys thought I bought a car turns out they gave it out as a loaner vehicle car came back damaged asked for my money back got the run around and was told lie after lie terrible customer service
Basically they tried to sell me a 9,000 dollar car for 20,000 dollars. If you have time feel free to read my detailed review below:
Not sure how this place has such good reviews. The sales person I was dealing with seemed nice, however my experience went downhill after I had chose a car. They gave me a list of monthly payments that I could choose from, not the total out the door price of the car. The lowest monthly payment for the 9,000 dollar car I was going to buy was over $350 a month. I calculated the total price over the life of the loan and realized they were trying to sell me a 9,000 dollar car for almost 20,000 dollars. I told them that was way too high and that I wanted to see the total price including tax, title, and registration (not monthly payments). They made that into some huge deal, like it was so difficult to give me a total price. Eventually they gave me a total price, which was lower than the loan they tried to get me to take but still way more than the car was worth. They didn't want to remove their extra add-ons that I didn't want which totaled over $2,500 (extra warranty, free nitrogen for life, etc). After negotiating for a while I got them to remove two add-ons and lowered the price to 13,000. I still didn't think that was a fair price. Ended up going to Enterprise car sales and got a car that was worth 12,000 (but priced at 10,000) for 11,300 out the door.
Agent Brooke and co workers treated me with excellent customer service. Recommend anyone out there that needs a car, go or call and ask for brooke.....
Came to courtesy chevrolet, had a few months looking for a vehicle, and somehow these guys tied me down. I had Eric Real, as my sales rep. Friendly, courteous, and respectful. He definitely got me a great deal as a first time buyer on a 2011 VW. so that impressed me a lot. Also Alex the rep who helped me sign, was friendly and helpful, quick, and precise on details and let me know what i can do to be better off. Not to mention he even got me a lower payment from what was previously give to me. i enjoyed my service, and time being serviced. thanks Courtesy Chevrolet.
Could not have had better service, grade A from start to finish. My Spark had a couple recall fixes and an oil change and tire rotation. They had it done in one day and washed it for me, and sent me on my way with a cold bottle of water. I will drive the extra miles to this dealership for the great service!
Buying my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado LT from Courtesy Chevrolet proved to be a wise decision. The service was great and everyone was friendly and accommodating. From my salesperson, David Cole, to Christ Agnos in Finance and Ruben Martinez in Service - all were outstanding. I would highly recommend Courtesy Chevrolet.
I just want to take a moment to say a HUGE THANKS to Jason Church and the assistance he provided for myself and a friend. With his AWESOME service, it's no wonder why COURTESY has been around for a long time. THANKS Jason and COURTESY !
First Visit: Prompt and performed the oil change and tired rotation of my first new car service within an hour of peak busy time on a Saturday, very impressive. However, I had asked how to schedule another visit for issues I thought were on the vehicle, or whether they could investigate them than, and was not responded to with how best to set this up either during the initial pull up after the documentation and meeting at the end of the work.
Overall the service was fine, but the general customer service besides the New Car service was dismal for the questions I inquired about.
Second Visit: George was an immense help. I called with an impromptu service matter, that he somehow managed to schedule and get fixed a few hours after I just strolled in without an annpointment. Not only did he schedule the service, and act quickly but I was convinced enough to other preventive maintenance. Great customer service, speed, and professional attitude.
For the last month I have been looking for a new vehicle to trade in and this is where they had a car I wanted. I applied online and it probably took about a week to get a response in regards to the approval. When I was called to come in, I brought the usual documentation they were asking for. I had a bit of an unusual case so I totally understood this would take some time. There was an issue with my paystubs and we were trying to figure out how to make it work but Jeremy (one of the managers) was extremely rude about it. At one point he was raising his voice at me because he couldn't understand what I was explaining in regards to my employer. I was trying to be nice but he was so snappy. Finally I got tired of his condescending tone and I snapped back at him. I get that it's a frustrating case but that doesn't mean he can talk to me like I was below him. He would call me every other day and kept saying they're waiting on the bank and I would know by the next day. Then one day he completely stopped calling. After 3 weeks of waiting for an approval, I finally decided to move on. I ended up going to another dealership and got approved in under 24hrs with my unusual case and paystubs. To this day I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A PHONE CALL ABOUT A DENIAL, APPROVAL, OR AN UPDATE. This was the worst experience I've ever had, I will never go back because of how rude Jeremy was.
David Escobar was really nice and gave me a wonderful deal on a 2016 Camaro. He was very polite and professional throughout the entire process. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I asked him about things about the car and he had my back and helped me with the issues no questions asked. Thank you
I was highly satisfied with my salesman but what has been the problem with this dealership is the service. I had to take my vehicle in for a couple of things and they said they would have a loaner for me...it took an hour and a half to get the loaner car. After getting the car fixed i received a call and they said my car was done, we show up to get the car and they cant find it... I have been there 4 times and all 4 they have told me one thing and have done another.
The body shop did a wonderful job, kept me informed of the steps taken and the timeline for completion. I bought my car at Courtesy and they always do the maintenance and repairs. I wouldn't take my 2016 Camaro Convertible anywhere else.
It was probably the quickest I've been in and out of a dealership. Everyone was polite and courteous. There was no high pressure sales tactics. Ask for Joe, although I am sure everyone is equally as nice.
The manger was excellent to us in a time of my husband and I grieving over our daughters domestic death and fighting to get our grandaughter back from docs I don't remember his name but he is the manger
I give Courtesy Chevrolet a 5 Star rating. I have purchased 2 cars from this dealership. Courtesy has the best prices and their Customer Service is first rate. The staff in the Service Department is friendly, knowledgeable and their quality of work is excellent. Recently I was fortunate to have Dana Batchan as my salesperson. When I called, I told him I was interested their current advertised promotion. I wanted a 2014 Equinox, however, I had to go out of town for a few days, and the only day I had available come in was the following Monday. I also told him that my Husband was in a wheelchair and because of health reasons he would initially not be with me, but I would go pick him up when it came time to sign the paperwork. Dana took all the necessary information to get the ball rolling. We spoke over the phone several times while I was out of town. Dana Batchan is an exceptional salesperson. His professionalism, experience and expertise made the entire stressful car buying experience go very smoothly. I found the perfect car, at a great price! Also, to save my husband the physical hardship of a 1 hour drive into Phoenix, Dana Batchan went over and above the call of duty; he brought the papers to our house for my husband to sign. That is what I call, "5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE" !!! Thank you Dana Batchan & Courtesy Chevrolet.
I had purchased a vehicle a few years ago, right across the street from a wonderful dealership called Courtesy Chevrolet. They are wonderful because the dealership I had purchased my SUV from had sold me an extended warranty which was suppose to be in effect until December of 2015. Right now as I am writing this ---it is only October of 2014. My air conditioner fan was not working and it was over 100 degrees and I was told to wait a few days until my paperwork could be pulled--to maybe rectify this warranty issue. I had driven my dad's old Chevy truck down that day--and after leaving the dealership where I purchased my Ford vehicle---I went across the street with my dad's old Chevy truck for a vehicle inspection and some ac repairs. I had some appointments that day--so the Chevy service advisor allowed me to use a new Chevy demo model until my dad's truck was inspected /repaired--------not the dealer from whom I purchased myFord vehicle with the extended warranty!!!! I intend to tell everyone about this!
Buying a used car can be a roller coaster of emotions especially when things don't go as planned. What started off as a scary ride turned into smooth sailing because of the amazing Debbie Drager. She is a terrific listener and she gave us a taste of the Courtesy Chevrolet VIP treatment! All of our concerns both big and small were taken care of immediately and after this experience I will be buying our next car here because I know no matter how things start off Courtesy truly cares about their customers.
Just upgraded our family car and we were treated with respect. really helped up. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Recommend hans the sales rep.
My family has been going to Courtesy Chevrolet for over 13 years now and we will continue going because of the exceptional service we get every visit. Eric Montano has been our service rep for about 11 or 12 of those years and he is a big reason we will continue to go to Courtesy Chevrolet for all of our service needs. Eric always exceeds our expectations by not only taking care of what we need done but by recommending other services that are necessary in order to keep our vehicles running the way they should.
I saw a per-owed Tahoe on the website I called in and talked to Kenny W in the internet department and set and appointment to come see the Tahoe. The day of our appointment KW was very professional and courteous and knowledgeable. We couldn t make a deal but Kenny sure tried and did everything if could to earn my business. I will keep in touch and hopefully I can purchase my next Tahoe from Kenny. Thanks KW!!
Scheduled a windshield replacement before my appointment. Was told at the time of appointment that I would have to schedule in advance because they don't carry the glass for my (Chevrolet) vehicle I am leasing from them. Isn't that what I did when I called in to schedule a windshield replacement? The oil change and tire rotation portion of my appointment went well.
Courtesy Chev is the worst dealership I ever made the mistake of inquiring about a car from. Do not give them your real number or email address!! It's impossible to get them to stop contacting you. Kevin is the worst. I had to block 5 different numbers from Courtesy Chev and I still, months later, get voicemails from Kevin in my blocked message box. I've emailed them all saying I bought a car already and to stop calling. It's harassment and it's very discourteous! If writing this review doesn't get the message across to them I don't know what else to do!
I recently purchased a new silverado from courtesy chevrolet, couldn't be happier with the purchase, and the sales man that made it all happen, David Escobar. If you want a good deal and no hassle, he's your man!
The people there were friendly. Went for an oil change and two days later my car started making a weird sound when I turned on the air. Called and talked with some rude individual who was more interested telling me why it wasn't them rather than hearing what I was saying. Called back 3 hours later, spoke to a wonderful lady. Left a message on with the supervisor. The woman made an appointment for me to come in the next day and ensure everything was tightened up. I went and the next day the problem was fixed. Everyone overall was nice, except for that man I talked too.
Additionally, I went for an oil change and now sales representatives are blowing my phone up talking about I am looking for a new car. I never filled out anything out. I told the first representative I was not interested and they keep calling.
All in all it was a pretty good transaction but three days after the deal, my car broke down and I was stranded but luckily I got a hold of the dealership and they took care of me. The people who I would really like to give thanks too is Lawraleen Adewunmi. She was one of the sales people that sold me my car. she along with Jamie Kellerhals was extremely helpful. Jamie kellerhals wasn't even involved with the sell but when he found out that my car broke down he got me a tow truck and made sure I had a loaner vehicle that night. Lawraleen stayed until 2000 hours to make sure I got everything all situated. Thank you again courtesy Chevrolet.
The reason I only gave them a four star is because one of the sales person I contacted named Eric Real, was supposed to call me back the night of the break down. Until this day I have not heard back from him. I will definitely buy another car through courtesy Chevrolet, just not from Eric Real.
We recently visited the dealership to purchase two vehicles to replace our older vehicles. The dealership was very willing to negotiate a deal for us and we came in to see what vehicles were available. We met Eric Steffes who took over 5 hours to talk with us and show us the entire inventory, while walking through the whole property and test-driving each vehicle we were interested in. Eric was awesome about explaining everything to us and giving us plenty of time to make a decision. When we decided on a vehicle, Eric ensured we got the best value for our trade-in so our monthly payment remained the same. We were only able to find one vehicle that evening that matched our criteria but we were able to come in a week later to find another vehicle. The finance department stayed until 10:30pm, well after closing to ensure we got our vehicle that night. The car was not be to be made ready for us that evening so Eric ensured that a loaner vehicle was delivered to me at school so I did not have to travel back to the dealership. Please ask for Eric Steffes when you are looking for your next car, his knowledge is amazing and he will make sure you get the best deal. We will definitely be returning to see him for our next vehicle.
A little slowly the service and parts and mechanics department, you have to wait a week for the truck to have the promised tinted windows and the back box awaits the protective plastic. I also bought Silverado truck for work and it doesn't have the pull, nor should I have to ask what not? See if they give it to me, what a disappointment. Our seller was excellent, I like to be able to speak my language. Thanks Roberto!
This was my first time every financing a vehicle, and I must say it was a really great experience for me. Everyone was very nice and helpful. My sales person Lamar Mclaughlin was very honest and upfront no tactics. I walked out with a good deal and a good car! Thank you Courtesy Chevrolet!
The sales guys were nice, but they gave us the typical run-around. We went in with a budget and timeline, and it was only until we'd spent more than hour there and were backing out to leave that they hustled out and said, "We think we can meet your budget!" Nah, thanks anyways.
Been having issues between Geico insurance and this place since June when I hit a rock in the road with"Joy" I had to drive 100 miles just to get the damage report. After trying to get it faxed to me several times I had to drive down there. When I got there they said that they deleted all of the records!
But one of the managers came to the rescue and found it!
Felt lied to and ended up ripping up the deal when dealership couldn't deliver. I was there on a Sunday and was told they would have the truck I wanted on Monday morning. Made the deal. Waited for a call Monday to tell me truck was ready. Finally called salesman. Was told several times that the truck was there but needed to be inspected. After finding out the salesman wasn't on the lot, I drove down there. Found out truck hadn't even been delivered yet. I told them to rip up the deal. I went to another dealer and left with a similar truck for $2000 less and got $2000 more for my trade. I likely won't be returning to courtsey Chevrolet. This wasn't the first time they failed to deliver and I wasn't going to take anymore from them.
I have brought my Chevy Cruze into Courtesy Chevrolet a few times and each and every time Service Advisor, Brenden Hayes, has done an exceptional job with my car needs. He is always through, attentive to detail, friendly, knowledgeable and understanding about my vehicle each time. I think Brenden is the best Service Advisor there. He is very respectful and considerate. Thanks Brenden Hayes for always going above and beyond with your amazingly outgoing customer service. Most appreciative. -Susan.
We started our car purchase with an online search, and found Coutesy Chevrolet. We can honestly say this has been the best new car purchasing experience We have ever had. We worked with Jeremiah Duncan, Tony Lee, Anthony Alfaro and Lucy Tucker. They found us the car we wanted, my us a great deal. We now have a brand new vehicle!!
Antonio A. was very helpful and very patient with assisting us with finding a vehicle that meet our needs, with good conversations, he didn't hesitate with finding another vehicle that we may have liked more, meeting our financial needs with pricing as well we found not only one car but TWO that we will be taking home ! thank you for your patience and your time. Keep up good work!
I traded in my car for a newer one in Dec 2015. The person who assisted us Fabian Ocotila was great. He had a great attitude, friendly, had a willingness to help and was also training another gentleman. My new car is awesome...I love it. It took a while to get my car plates and everything situated for a bit but once fixed...everything has been good ever since. I would recommend going to check it out who knows....might see something you like and walk out with a new car
They advertised the lowest price for the car I was looking for. When I got there they added $2500 in dealer add ons to the price of the car. They tried to charge me a $500 doc fee, a $500 prep fee, a $500 lifetime tint fee what ever that means and another $1000 for an alarm that didn't exist. Be careful buying from here!
I had an incredible buying experience with Joe Vassias at Courtesy Chevrolet, he really worked hard to get me into the car I wanted. I would highly recommend working with him if you are looking for a car. Thank you Joe for helping me, I love my impala
Epic fail. These guys are asleep at the wheel. They advertised a BMW at a nice price and I found it online. Walked in as a pre-qualified customer to take a look and test drive the car, which had not been serviced or cleaned. They said they would have it serviced the next day. They called the next day to tell me it would be the day after, and set an appointment for me to come in. When I arrived, the manager told me his sales rep said I already purchased a car. They were surprised to see me (even though they called to confirm the appt they postponed by a day) and could not locate the vehicle. After 20 minutes of waiting, they stated the car did not pass their service dept, but could not confirm. They seemed busy, a lot of people sitting around with no rep in sight. I called the manager the next day to confirm the car was in fact not available, and he said he would check into it and call me right back. He did not. Totally unreliable people and a total waste of time.
My sales person was Tim lemont, I was very excited to get my first new car. Tim was great at keeping me informed every step of the way. When it seamed hopeless he keeped on trying different ways to make it all work out . I really want to say you are awesome and thank you??he always keep a great smile and it kept me hopefull..
Price on window sticker did not match price of vehicle at time of signing paperwork. Then slipped in the extended warranty of which I later rejected and had them cancel. After sale I have attempted to make contact with sales rep and have yet received any response.
Don t go and spend your money and time there , if I could I ll go somewhere else ,but I did bought a car and regret it because the way workers are treating us
Over ten years coming and I will only deal with Erik Montana in service. I've recommended him to other friends with Chevy and he's never disappointed. Honesty, it's a rare quality in a sales industry and this man stands on that!
My service advisor Curt Petri is the best with customer service. He is friendly, knowledgeable, informative and helpful. Had appointment to have my GPS radio replaced and when I brought it in mentioned a couple of other issues. He said it would not be a problem to have the additional issues checked as well. He kept me posted of the status along the way and met the timeframe promised. My interaction with other employees was pleasant as well and feel that my repeat busy is not taken for granted but appreciated. I always feel like a valued customer by Curt and other staff members. Would strongly recommend Courtesy to any friends and family.
Went in for an oil change and after 2 hours of waiting I had to ask how much longer my wait would be and was told another hour or so.....we only have 2 technitions today. This is the second time I have taken my car in to them and had to wait over 2 hours. We were able to get a car ride home to wait another hour. Another sad part is the driver of the shuttle said they had plenty of technition on today, dispite what the service writer had said. Horrible service and lack of consideration for their customers.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. Came in today to get my windows tinted, but had to wait a half day to get it done. Stay away from this horrible place, unless you like waiting all day.
Called and made an appt to see a used Lexus. Before I got there another staff member called to confirm my appt and said they would have the car pulled up. When we arrived our original person was busy so another fella led us out to where the car would have been, but then had to go look for it. Turns out it was in the body shop having repairs done. Total waste of a drive from Gilbert. Only reason I d give 2 stars at all was that the staff was friendly.
I called Courtesy Chevrolet about a particular new vehicle listed on their website as "in transit". Upon talking to the dealer representative, I was assured that the vehicle had arrived and was "available". The salesmen, and a sales manager, even said they would have it cleaned and ready for me to test drive. I made an appointment and drove from Flagstaff to Phoenix intending to purchase this vehicle. Upon arrival, the salesmen I had talked to was "unavailable," and SO WAS THE CAR. They didn't have it, never had it. What a bunch of lairs. DON'T TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. What a wasted trip.
I bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze Rides Amazing. Always had it serviced at courtesy. They take good care of me and my car. I never had a problem with them spectacular customer service !!
Started off pretty well. They found me a vehicle that met my size and budget needs, and my sales guy was great. 3 days after we bought it, it left me stranded. Dead battery. They did replace the battery at no charge to me. At that time I told them it was leaking oil. They told me I was wrong, there was no leak but set up an appointment for service. They ended up replacing the camshaft and a lifter. Now it still leaks oil. I have a huge oil stain in my driveway that wasn t there before. And it has an electrical issue. Sometimes the blinkers work, sometimes they don t. Now they don t want to deal with it, referring me to another dealership for service. We ve had it for about 2 months now. Still haven t received copies of any of the paperwork we signed and I still don t have access to the app they charge $1000 for. Won t do business with them again, ever.
Was told for 2 days a used vehicle was available, car salesman Ben from the Internet department made up a good story how he just sold it. Drove down and it was sold. Then the red head finance guy with the ridiculous beard said he didn't appraise my vehicle but tried tried to tell me everything that was wrong with it. Lying scumbags, would expect more from a dealer with that kind of reputation
Great experience !!! Everybody was very professional and nice with me and my family. Kevin helped me a lot on getting the car i wanted. Ireally recommend this dealership for new car buyers or those who want to upgrade.
They were all very professional and kind to me and my family. Kevin. It helped me a lot to get the car that I wanted. I really recommend this dealership for those who are going to buy a car for the first time or for those who want a newer car.
Kiros was referred to me by my mom and dad, they have both bought and upgraded vehicles with him and speak very highly of him. I have been very hesitant about going to a dealership, but Kiros was very through, let me know my options and was truly interested in listening to what I was looking for and my needs, he made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I am so happy I made that call, and completely agree with my parents, 'Kiros is the man' I only wish I had done it sooner!
I've bought multiple vehicles at Courtesy and have always been treated right and taken care of. I will be visiting Edward Himes for my next purchase and great customer service.
Had a bumpy start but I am happy to say the people at Courtesy took good care of my issues. I will be using them for all of my service needs in the future and the next time I need a new vehicle I will know where to go.
All lies about this dealership they will call you and tell you that they are better than any other dealership. Wich is a lie worst service ever wouldn't recommend it
I found my Dream truck!! My salesperson Eric Real, made the deal just the way I wanted it. Eric was very friendly, helpful and on the ball. I will recommend Courtesy Chevrolet and Eric to all my friends and family. Thanks again Eric, Janice Orton
This transaction could not have been more smooth. Anthony Lopenzo in the Internet Dept was absolutely the best. I wanted to find someone to just email information and not tie me up at the dealership for hours. I tried multiple valley dealerships and none of them would even give me a price by email. Every one of them told me I needed to come down. It took about 4 emails with Anthony and no phone calls, not even one. The first time I spoke to Anthony was when I showed up to pick up my new truck. I walked in and drove off with the truck in under 45 minutes. Finance was fast and professional as well. I could not be happier. All of that and I saved $$$$$ on the truck. I could not find that price within 500 miles of Phoenix and I've been looking for months... again, I could not be happier!!!!!
The guy we spoke with was super friendly and nice but he kept being around the bush with the price. He wouldnt tell us the ball park price for take home. We didnt want to go over $17,000 and he kept just saying "this is yours"
