I was in the market for a new car and Eric was really laid back and helped me with my decision also made me feel very comfortable. His customer service skills were great as well, not pushy at all. Id definitely refer him to my family and friends. Thank you Eric for all your help
I had the pleasure of buying my first chevy with Ernie, if it wasn't for Ernie I would have gone else where. Ernie is an expert In his field and never made it seem like I was buying a car. Courtesy Chevrolet needs to hire more people like Ernie who is very easy on the eyes as well, thanks to Ernie I will forever be a chevy driver. Thanks Ernie for making my experience great! Hopefully you can get me a great deal on a z06 (;
An accident totalled my previous car and put me in spot I wasn't prepared for with purchasing a new vehicle. I met with Dave to get some help and some options and he couldn't have been more helpful. He took the time to find what I was looking for and explain the entire process. He matched my price range with the best car for the dollar. If you're in the market stop here and ask for Dave B. to help you.
I bought a Chevy traverse had a good experience so of course I recommended my dad to purchase a car there I was told due to my referral not being withing the 90 days sorry it took me 2 years but I could of said hey let's go somewhere else anyways it has been 2 months I was promised an incentive of $100.00 yet I have not received anything. Also my truck had a chip on my windshield when I purchased it no big gyms as the dealership said they would fix it for FREE let me tell u 2 years later and countless promises the windshield was never fixed now my back with Dashiell was broken so of course I call to make a claim as I was told when I purchased the vehicle I would have auto glass insurance I call and I'm told I don't have it??? I look at my contact and no where does it specify what is and is not covered how the he'll do I know they are being honest? I dont!! I would never recommend this place every again to anyone mind u it takes all day to buy a vehicle there and u meet with 8 different ppl
Buying a car can be such a nerve wracking and stressful situation. Luckily that subsided thanks to Fabian Martinez and Carlos Valenzuela from Courtesy Chevrolet's used car department. They put my mind at ease and helped me find the perfect car for me. Not only were they extremely helpful they lived up to the name of the company, Courtesy Chevrolet. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family and to anyone reading this, trust me if you go here ask for Fabian and Carlos, you wont regret it!
The sales manager is rude. Their pricing is deceptive. They advertised a 2014 used car in AutoTrader for a price, then tried to add on additional $3000 for taxes and doc fee. Tried to talk to the sales manager and he turned his back and walked away disgusted. Other dealers for same priced vehicle had taxes at $1200 and doc fee of $349. Courtesy had the nerve to say their prices were the best. Do the math! They were $1500 higher.
Courtesy Chevrolet, Thank You for continuing to be an amazing Dealership where the environment is super friendly, pressure free, honest, and affordable during what some could describe as a stressful purchase. I feel amongst friends every time I enter the doors and I can't say enough good things about my time spent with the Courtesy Team. I always leave with the just what I wanted vehicle, and the Sales Team this visit, Benny, Andy and Finance Manager Brandon were the greatest! Thank you guys! I went for a car but left with an experience worth sharing.
'Courtesy' is the right name for the company. Everyone is so pleasant to deal with - from the service writer to the cashier. They always give me a shuttle ride to work and back while they service my truck that I bought there in 2008. The drivers are always so nice and friendly, and are good drivers, too.
One thing that sets this dealership apart from others is their appreciation of Veterans. Their complementary service for veterans is wonderful. It is so nice to be appreciated.
The complementary car wash is nice, too. I had it washed two days ago but some rain and dust destroyed the clean truck. Courtesy made it shine again.
Tim Jackson is the best service writer I have ever dealt with. I hope he is around forever. I trust him implicitly to give me the straight scoop about my vehicle and what it needs.
Bought a new 2018 Malibu LS in Nov. 2018. I submitted an online form expressing interest in the 2018 Malibu. Salesman took me to a lot full of Malibus and told me to pick which one I wanted to test drive. I picked a blue one, test drove it, and loved it. Went in to talk numbers and the price was a lot more than was advertised. Turns out we test drove a 2019. Salesman didn't care to check what I submitted online. They didn't have the 2018 Malibu in the blue that I loved, so I asked to see a 2018 in silver. It had most of the same features as the 2019 one I test drove (USB port, aux port in particular). I ended up buying the silver one. I went on a Sunday near closing time so I had to wait a couple of hours to meet with financing due to their backlog. I was at the dealership for about 4 hours. That was my fault though, but it wasn't a fun experience while hungry. I couldn't drive away with the car at the end of everything because I didn't have insurance. The on-site insurance company took my credit card number to get me temporary insurance, but they closed before I was done with financing without telling me nor giving me insurance. I picked up the car the following day. That night I realize the car doesn't have the USB and aux ports that the silver one I was shown had. I text the salesman and he tells me that those weren't in the car he showed me either (lie). The car I drove away in had 32 miles where the silver one I was shown before buying had 16 miles. My paperwork says I drove off with 16 miles, so that's proof that he showed me a different car.
I also received two sales calls the day after buying asking if I was still interested in test driving the Malibu. Felt great knowing that I just spent my hard earned money on a company that didn't even realize that I bought a car there.
My overall opinion of the dealership is that they are slightly shady. Wouldn't buy there again and I would not recommend to family and friends.
I started the search for a new car a few weeks ago trying different brands and models (ford, toyota, etc), and finally decided to try for a 2012 Chevy Tahoe that this dealership had available. I submitted a request online and was answered by Steve Rimer. Steve was extremely helpful, not pushy, and polite throughout the whole process and I think that we came to a fair deal at the end. He answered all my questions promptly and accurately, and he provided a huge amount of information on the car I wanted to purchase. I would, and I will, definitely recommend this dealership to anyone, and I will personally recommend Steve as well. If all the salesmen are as good as he is, this dealership is in for the long run. Now I just want to enjoy my new 2012 Tahoe LS, and hopefully, the service department will be as good as the sales department.
Great experience. Oscar Castro worked around my schedule which was very demanding and was flexible and easy to get ahold of. Definitely a good person to work with.
Sterling Riger was the best! The "courtesy" part of Courtesy Chevrolet fits them perfect, this especially true for Sterling!! I had an awesome experience when purchasing the vehicle I wanted and I would definitely recommend and refer all of my family and friends!
My wife and I have never been taken care like we were by Mr. Ernine Beler and the other staff members of your organization. We never felt the pressure to buy. Mr. Beler listened to our requirements we were looking for and never tried to sell us something else. Mr. Beler went above and beyond to ensure we got what we wanted. Mr. Beler and staff are TRUE professionals and I will Never buy another Chevy from any other dealer. I will make the trip from El Paso, TX to Courtesy Chevrolet from on.
Best car buying experience I've had! Ask for Alex. He is the easiest salesperson I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. He made the whole ordeal worth doing. Courtesy should be proud to have this person working for them. Thanks again bud!
My boyfriend and I came here looking to buy a truck and received the worst customer service from Jesse. The first time we came here Jesse punched in some numbers and I can't remember the exact total but lets say it was 35,000 after tax with 3000 down payment. We decided to go home and sleep on it.
The following week the truck dropped -1500 in price so we came back and wanted to buy it with 5000 down payment instead. But when Jesse went over the numbers again with tax included, total was 38,000. How did the total price get higher if the truck dropped and we were putting more down payment?! Mathematically didn't make sense. I asked him to show us the price breakdown. He did it really fast and would not show us the paper he did math on. Then when he saw me glimpsing at it, he covered it up. Luckily I was able to see there were no price changes on tax and the only price change was from the truck going lower. So where was the 38,000 coming from?!
The impression he gave was that he was either really bad at calculating numbers or trying to play us and I would bet he was trying to play us. Jesse avoided talk about negotiating the price of the car, but would only negotiate the price of the monthly payment and said he'll make the monthly payment 5 dollars less. Are you kidding? Also when we asked why the APR rate was 12% with 760 credit score and this being our second car, he responded "Why are you asking about that?! APR rate doesn't matter. You could always refinance!" He spoke to us very condescendingly the entire time saying "It's not like I have a magic wand" and would constantly refer to my boyfriend as "bro."
Jesse wouldn't grab his manager for us and had such a disgusting attitude the entire time. When we walked out, he barely made an effort to shake our hands and said to us "You guys are the one who need a car so this doesn't effect me it effects you." Wow. Completely unprofessional with a bad attitude and bad salesmanship! Its funny because he called us as soon as we left. As if there aren't lots of other competitors with great service we can buy a truck from. How can Chevy hire someone like this to work for them? If you're going to buy from here, run away from Jesse!
Chris Murphy (used car salesman) worked diligently to find a way that my daughter could afford her dream car. He is very professional and gives the facts straight to you. I like that he wasn't high pressure and let us decide if we could afford the cat or not. His customer service is impeccable. He always returns emails and usually within minutes. He is very friendly and helpful. Wish all used car Salesman were like him. Then, they wouldn't have such a bad reputation haha jk. But seriously, he is the best. I will recommend him to anyone I know shopping for a car.
Just purchased a 2015 Dodge Challenger for my daughter with cash plus a trade in. Our overall experience was below mediocre. We felt jerked around after locating this car on the internet and again during the price haggling. Shola contacted my husband last night as he was told the car was available. We travelled from the other side of the City and ready to make a deal. We were told the car was SOLD and we were also told that he had to leave. Shola contacted my husband again and said there had been a mistake and the car was in fact available so we decided to go take a look this afternoon. I go for a test drive and the internet salesman commented that he thought he heard us pull up the other night in a Camaro SS......thats odd because we were told he had left for the night. Enough with the games! The car was advertised at 16,500 on the website. The haggling was ridiculous as they tried to push some overpriced GPS anti-theft device onto us for $1,595 PLUS some ally certification for an extra $1K. Plus nitro in the tires for $169. Good grief! This is a typical dirty car salesman trick. Those items were presented to us as dealer-installed accessories and we said we were not interested. They pushed and pushed until we almost walked away. We were even told that they clearly advertise their anti-theft system online but that was a LIE. We finally agreed on a price as typical car dealerships will "fudge numbers" around on paper. We were given an envelope with ONE carbon copy of the purchase agreement and NOTHING ELSE. Where is the Carfax report we were shown and the rest of the documents I signed with Russell in their finance department???? The sale is complete and Shilo hasnt replied to my our text messages yet. If you are looking for a vehicle please go elsewhere. Word of advice to Courtesy Chevrolet; Ditch the overpriced anti-theft GPS and silly certification "warranty" on the cars and stop pushing them onto your potential customers. Better yet guys.....you should know better to play the false advertising game. Car salesmen and their ridiculous dirty tricks! I could only imagine the high pressure sales tactics they use on people who are financing. This is why most people despise going to car dealerships. Not completely satisfied customer.....would NOT recommend this dealership. Go to AutoNation where we bought our Camaro. It was a much better experience there. No haggle and No pressure is what people want because Nobody has got time for that nonsense! Be forewarned!!! They seem to advertise a low price online then they attempt to charge you for overpriced accessories you do not need or want. And they were very pushy! Their license plate frame that gives them free advertising gets tossed in the trash. I REFUSE to provide free advertisement to a dealership such as Courtesy Chevrolet. Nothing Courtesy about our experience! They have my mailing address. I FULLY EXPECT THE DEALERSHIP TO MAIL ME ALL COPIES OF THE CONTRACT THAT I SIGNED INCLUDING THE CARFAX REPORT.
THE YOUNG MAN THAT HELPED ME, BEN BROWN DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I HAD GONE TO MIDWAY THAT DAY AND FELT LIKE THEY NEEDED TO IMPROVE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SO I WALKED OUT.
AS SOON AS I WALKED INTO COURTESY BEN MADE ME FEEL LIKE HE KNEW WHAT MY NEEDS WERE AND WAS ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH THEM.
To anyone looking to buy a new or used car, I highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle from Courtesy Chevrolet. From the moment I entered the showroom until I drove off the lot I was treated with the utmost respect. I find the typical sales process at other dealerships to be archaic and frustrating however at Courtesy the negotiation was transparent with a clear view of the numbers each step of the way. The delivery representative was highly knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicle and help me to understand all of the features. (Chevy is doing some super cool things with their technology) Courtesy Chevrolet will be my "go to" dealership for any future vehicle purchase!
I came here to swap a battery that I bought here 2.5 years ago, still under warranty, made an appointment the day before and it took them 4.5 hrs to get it done, horrible customer service and they take their sweet time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, BESIDES THEIR PRICES ARE STRATOSPHERIC.
Just bought my 2nd vehicle in a year from Courtesy. David Escobar is very professional and a great vehicle specialist! Best experience I've had yet. Martha in Finance was very helpful and a pleasure. #Prish
Roberto was awesome! His personality and professionalism made my purchasing experience a great one. He was very knowledgeable and didn't use any pressure sales tactics that I've experienced at other dealerships. Would definitely recommend him and Courtesy Chevrolet. Thank you Roberto!
the truck they sold me had many problem which they did not fix, some they did fix, example the truck was a 2500, but only had tires on it for a 1500. the window sticker was wrong. the list goes on and on. I would not recommend them to anyone
I needed to buy a car and after doing my diligence I came to Courtesy Chevrolet and purchased a pre-owned vehicle below sticker price and below Kelly Blue Book. I couldn't be more satisfied with this transaction, no hassle bargaining, and excellent customer service. I came away with lots of perks from this family owned dealership and a great vehicle. Gustavo is the kindest and sales rep I've ever met. I look forward to seeing everyone at this dealership for free oil changes and tire rotations over the next 3 years. Truly, customer service wins again!
They were both easy to work with and informative about the vehicle, options and leasing. Steve was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Brittany was quick while going over the warranty, service and OnStar information, but still fully covered any questions I had. She also made the initial OnStar setup go very easy.
Thank you to both of them for helping make a new car buying (well, leasing) experience one that I didn't absolutely dread, as I have every other time in the last 25 years of obtaining a new car.
For a dealership the people are great. Love the wheeling dealing and felt both parties were winners. Looking forward if the wife wants a Chevy with coming back to wheel and deal.
Everyone was nice. Miguel O. gave me great customer service was very attentive and did all he could so I was able to leave with my new truck. That I love very much!
I sent an internet request to Courtesy Chevrolet requesting details and pricing on a Chevy Cruze. I got an immediate response with details and pricing and a follow up email within a day from Brooke Slade. Even though Courtesy was not as close to home as other dealers I decided they definitely earned my visit because most others either did not have the car we wanted or were not as upfront on providing pricing. I called and said I was on my way to the dealership and the vehicle was waiting just outside the showroom when we got there. Brooke Slade was there to meet us and brought us the pricing, just as presented in the email, and took us out to look at and test drive the car. She was very informed on the vehicle and never tried to push us into a decision. I was not convinced on color or interior so I asked her to show us a few more cars and after a few minutes of looking at all the other options this was the obvious choice. Brooke delivered on vehicle and price and was excellent to interface with in all phases; Selection, Pricing and Delivery. Our experience buying from Courtesy and Brooke Slade was excellent and we will definitely shop Courtesy for future vehicles.
Outstanding customer service by Ernie Vieane and Christine Pantea today! Trustworthy sales - quick and painless buying experience. Great communication with me throughout the whole process. No last minute surprises. Overall, Ernie and Christine are professional and polite. I'll be going to Courtesy for any of my car buying needs in the future.
My partner just bought his truck there. As a by stander, I was very pleased with the service that we received. The finance manager was great and sale person seem pretty knowledgeable about his trucks.
We recently purchased a new Bolt with the assistance of Ryan Washington. We had located a Bolt at another valley dealer but the buying experience was convoluted and not transparent at all. Although we liked the vehicle, we were not willing to give them our business. Ryan was able to locate a vehicle to fit our needs. The whole experience at Courtesy Chevy was exceptional. Ryan listened to our needs and Rick and Anthony in the finance department were equally pleasant to work with. I would recommend Courtesy Chevy to anyone. You live up to your longstanding positive reputation in Phoenix. Thanks again!
My experience at Courtesy Chevrolet was outstanding. Jesse Gonzalez made me feel so welcome. Jesse was very knowledgeable about the car, polite, and made me feel very welcome. Jesse gave me a tour of the facility and introduced me to people who worked in different departments. Bought the car because of Jesse Gonzalez. Highly recommend Courtesy Chevrolet to everyone. Courtesy Chevrolet is outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and outstanding.
I would never suggest this place to anyone. Russell the fiance person was extremely rude and belittling. We tried several times to work out a deal with him. He was treated us terribly and lied to us about nearly everything.
Had a great experience Andres Jimenez did a great job at informing me about the car I choose and went above and beyond for me to get a deal on the car i wanted, he's a very hard working person and has great customer service!!!!
I just recently purchased a Chevrolet Sonic fully loaded two weeks ago! My experience was unbelievable! I just went threw a bankruptcy and I was very nervous to start this process however, my sales man and his team where so attentive and hard working with every need I had during my visit! I was approved the next day and I couldn't be more happy with my selection! I would like to thank sales manager Edwin Puga and his terrific hard working team for the great customer service they provided and the honesty and genuine interest with all my questions and concerns! The minute I walked in I felt welcome and satisfied! I'm very happy I choose courtesy Chevrolet and I would recommend anyone to visit this dealership and speak with the hard working team that helped me!
We went in knowing what car we wanted. Chris Murphy helped us out and showed us a different vehicle that fit our budget even better. We were very happy with the service that Chris Murphy showed us. Great dealership, great salesman, great car!
I am a first time car buyer and Crystal White was the perfect sales women for me. She found a car that worked financially and for my family. I would suggest this dealership
You guys do a great job. I bought a car from here last year and never once did I feel pressured. I recently had the oil changed here. Fast and friendly service. When I have to buy a new car again years from now, I will go here.
I just went today to courtesy Chevrolet. My family and I were looking for a nice and fair priced used truck, the Manager came out to help us out and he told the sales men who was trying to sell us a truck that as he said was going to cost 22 k and I believed him and when he ran my credit on the paper it said that the price for the truck was 32k not 22k as they previously had mentioned. We had mentioned to him that we were willing to give 1k as a down payment and the Manager kept on pushing for a down payment of 5k then 10k then 15 k. I will definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone.
I would like to let you know my experience at Courtesy i had the best help from Edwin along with a sales represenative Isaias both were very professional and able to answer all my questions i am pleased to say i had great customer service.
They worked quick and bent over backwards to deliver our new car to us! The timeline was thrown off a bit with delivery, but it did save us a trip to the dealership.
Garret helped make this experience the best! Along with Ivan s help! Excellent team to work with! Overall very happy! Definitely recommend everyone to check them out, would not make a much at any other Courtesy Chevrolet.
We had an amazing visit to this family owned Courtesy Chevrolet. These sales men were definitely on top of their game and they also thought we were a funny from the rest of the buyers they ve in countered. It was in and out like a robbery cause we (my wife and I) were sort of on a tight schedule. Plus, they had amazing warranties on all sorts of features on their vehicles. I m definitely going back to test drive their Chevy Camaro. Most importantly, I would definitely would recommend this car dealership to anyone.
We came into courtsey chevrolet today interested in a chevy volt. We were immediately greeted by Roberto Romero as we pulled into the parking lot. We told him which vehicle we came to see he grabbed the keys and we were off on a test drive. We endend up test driving two more vehicles before we settled in on a different volt than we came in for. It had lower miles and was a certified gm vehicle. Between our salesman Roberto and his sales manager they made us feel welcome and at ease throughout the entire process from choosing the right car to hashing out the right price for us. Thanks to Roberto and his team we are driving away with our 2012 chevy volt.
Easier to use with being able to schedule appointment through the application on my phone. When i needed work done on my car have always been most helpful with diagnostics. Never shady business in the service department always been treated decently.
Horrible customer service. No one takes ownership. They lie. Try to get as much money out of you as possible. Do not go there alone if you are a woman. They will try and take advantage of you. Worst dealership ever. I will not buy another car from them nor will I have my maintaince done there again!
Shady People, Shady business... I would never recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I have been telling tons of people how bad we got screwed over here. Please save yourself a TON of money and go elsewhere. Our experience was awful. Lies and hidden costs all over- it's making us go broke. I had written a post on here a few months back, but it looks like it's magically gone.
Drove 45 minutes to find out they lied to me over the phone to get me to come in. After I left and drove off they magically offered me a better deal than the "absolute best we can do" when I was in the shop. Screw them. Go somewhere else unless you enjoy being jerked around. Bought a car from someone else and couldn't be happier.
This was one of the better experiences that I have had with a dealership but it wasn't perfect. First, let me explain all of the good parts.
1) Quick - In and out in under 2 hours for the whole process including trade-in. 2) Customer Service - Everyone was great and they actually listened to what I had to say. 3) Selection - They had a lot of vehicles. 4) Willing to negotiate the deal.
The negatives are few but very important. Here it is: DECEPTIVE SALES PRICE! I want everyone to be aware of this dealers sales approach. It isn't terrible as long as you are aware of it and know how to navigate it. They have very reasonable prices on their vehicles. In fact the vehicle that I eventually settled on was at a price that I thought was very good. I didn't even try to negotiate with them on the price because I thought it was fair. When I went to sign for the vehicle I noticed that they had added $1700 to the final price. As I looked down the line-item sheet I noticed two items that led to the vehicle being too high. They were labeled as "Additional Fees" and "Nitrogen for life". I was very straight forward with them when I saw these two items. I told them that I flat out wouldn't pay them. It was very deceptive because they kept pushing the payment number and not the actual price. The actual final out-the-door price of the vehicle is the very last thing that you see. The $1700 broke down like this: $1000 for dealer fees (which they claimed were related to the document preparation, marketing, and other items.), $500 for window tinting, and then $170 for the nitrogen. I recommend that you don't pay any of these fees. You will pay a "Doc Fee" of around $450. That is standard with every single dealer that I have ever been to. This one had that "Doc Fee" AND this $1000 additional "Dealer Fee". No matter what they say this is just a way for them to get money out of you. I got them to take off the window tinting fee, the nitrogen for life, and some of the dealer fees. Had I been willing to spend more time I think I could have gotten all of the dealer fees taken off.
I think that this dealership is fine if you know this information up front. Here is what I recommend: 1) find the vehicle you like. 2) Decide if that price is reasonable and deal from there. 3) Once you move to the purchase of said vehicle make it absolutely clear that you will pay for only these items: Vehicle price (already negotiated), tax, doc fee, registration.
Finally, a word on payments. Please ask them not to discuss payment amounts with you until you go to financing. Ask them to talk actual final out-the-door vehicle price. Here is why: the $1700 in extra fees they tried to stick me with changed my monthly payment by $70. If you want to save yourself $70 per month for the entire term of the agreement (in my case 5 years) then be concerned with the actual line item charges on the bill of sale. Thanks for reading my review! I hope that it helps you keep from getting overcharged.
Dave B. goes above and beyond in customer service. He does not pressure you into anything and he follows up with you every step of the way. I would highly recommend him and Courtesy for future purchases.
My salesperson, Sarah Campbell, was simply the best. From the moment she contacted me on a blind call, she gave the perfect amount of professionalism while also not suffocating me as the stereotypical sales person does. When I met her, she impressed me even more. She is smart, knowledgeable, and sensitive to my unique needs and wants without ever making me feel bad or pressured!
Buying my car was a lengthy process to get the best deal. After purchasing, I have had great experiences with the service department for regular maintenance.
