We've dealt with this dealership since 2013 and to be honest, it is an underwhelming experience. From ordering the wrong parts, delays, unknowledgeable staff, condescending financers to unwelcoming customer service, we could not do it anymore. The last straw was in early September when they failed to acknowledge a mistake on their part and so we decided to part ways with the Dodge Caravan and move on to a local Honda dealer and vehicle. We are just another number to them though as some other sucker will replace us as customers. The GM should really read these reviews and improve on these matters as I've read all these posts and nothing has really changed. Be very wary of Coquitlam Chrysler, Halloween is around the corner and it's a very scary place.

We factory ordered our truck and Daryl constantly kept us in the loop on the status and delivery date. We had a great buying experience and would recommend Daryl and Coquitlam Chrysler to anyone.

Traded in a 2015 Ram 1500 5.7L hemi, around 60k on the clock. Bought a 2016 Ram 1500 eco diesel, also 60k on the clock. Both trucks were identicle in accessory package.

Trade in value $26,000
New vehicle value $36,000

Problems.
1.
Engine management light came on straight away in new vehicle, tried to get hold of Uri many times but no success, ended up going in, explaining the situation to Kelly and he booked it in for inspection. 2 weeks later, i dropped it off and took 3 days to come back and say we don t know what the problem is .

Doing my year end and the accountant has some discrepencies with the contract. She tells me that on the financing document, both the trade in value and the new sale value had been inflated by $10k so wasn t sure what tax had been paid. I go in and speak with Kelly who s response was they done that to get you immediate approval . I ask if the paperwork can be adjusted to show the true value and am told it s a legal contract, we can t change it. Just tell your accountant to make adjustments . Whilst waiting to see Kelly, i notice all these extra charged on the bill of sale which i was unaware of (partly my own fault i guess). One of which was go green package for $399. This is a tire care package. I took my own wheels and tires from my old truck to my new one and when asked if my new tires would be covered, they said no . So i asked why i paid the $399, they said, you should have said something at the time . I asked for a refund, they said no, we ll fill your tires with Nitrogen .

Over all, i find the experience terrible. They are your best friend until the minute you sign the deal, then they are not contractable after that, not willing to help or be reasonable about any issue i had. To wrap it all up, another salesman slips me his business card right after i bought my new truck and asks if i want to trade it in, give him a call.

Very bad experience with the staff here at the Coquitlam Location. I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruise in September. It has been nothing but a hassle to own. the battery dies CONSTANTLY for a car that isn't driven more than 5 times a month . and now i was just told that the speakers in my vehicle are about to go. i was told this vehicle had no mechanical issues. As it was new and a lease return.

I HATE MY PURCHASE AND WISH I NEVER PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE. now i am stuck in a car payment and the car hardly starts when i go to drive it.

I have also gone back to the dealership many times to speak with my financial adviser (Darrel) and sales men ( Serge ) about trading in for a different vehicle which they said they would phone me. ( this didn't happen. They 100% scammed me and i am livid that there is absolutely nothing i can do about it.

I had a great service experience w/ Coquitlam Chrysler. They fixed my broken passenger side-view mirror on the spot, without an appointment, in 5 minutes. - Seriously. I asked if my warranty covered the cost because it's a new vehicle/1year old, and they weren't sure if glass was covered. I was prepared to pay, but they covered it! If it wasn't covered, they were very gracious and I'm thankful for it. I look forward to my next oil change appointment.

I am so impressed with the quality of service I received from Andrea while purchasing my new Dodge Ram that I ve been telling all my friends about him. He answered all of my texts and phone calls within 5 minutes of me placing them and made me feel like I was his most important customer of the day. He even returned a call I made on the Sunday of a long weekend. I will definitely look him up next time we get a new vehicle.

The finance lady the was another story. She is like those time share people in Las Vegas Vegas Mexico but at least they give you free gifts for listening to them. I told her she was waiting her and our time but she still went in and on.... But their manager , a great big friendly man saved the day for us.
Overall, I would buy from them again.

Dealt with with Stephane and Steven, these guys made me feel like I was a part of their family and made sure I was comfort with my purchase. Explained everything to me and made sure I knew what I was signed when I bought the truck. Quick and easy transition today at Coquitlam Chrysler! Mike Manhas made my car buying experience a pleasant one... the moment I asked for information about my new ride now... Nissan 370Z! He reached out to me right away and provided all the CarFax info. and advised me about an upcoming weekend sale - which means of course even lower prices. Got an excellent deal on 'my trade' today, and the entire team at this dealership worked together to get the deal I wanted :). Very transparent, nothing to hide, straight up "out the door pricing". Bonnie also helped me with the ICBC Insurance transfer papers, and answered all my questions and I was done and out the door with my new ride within 1-1/2 hours - awesome!!!

Finally decided to get a Ram 1500, stopped by Coquitlam Chrysler and met Matt ( Mehrdad). He is a great salesman with good advises. He helped me to choose a right truck and trim. He was very patient and offered me several test drives and never got tired from my multiple visits and many questions.
Rest of the team specially Kelly and Lynn , were friendly and helpful. I left the dealership with what I wanted and was happy from the deal. Yes, iw would recommend this dealership for sure.

Sales is pretty good, service centre is horrific. Bought 2 new vehicles there within 5 months, the second was a 3/4 tonne pick up. It was missing a bumpstop and the service manager (after being cajoled by the great salesman I had) finally treated it like he was doing me a favor, by giving me all a complete truck. Then again the service department, while the other truck was in for warranty work, no one called to tell me I could pick it up, and when I called no one knew if I could pick it up and no one knew where the paperwork was. Turns out it was as finished as it could be for a week until another part came in.

There is more, but I'm getting tired of ranting and typing.

My boyfriend came here to test drive a car and was told he wasn't able to because of the rain, then he sees someone else driving the car. The staff did not care about them they completely ignored them and made them wait for a long time after they test drove a different car that they did not even want also one of the other cars wasn't even starting up, that is embarassing. I don't know if it was because my boyfriend and his friend are younger or the way they were dressed but that is no way to treat potential customers. Steer clear of this place , they were ready to buy a $90,000 car but the staff clearly messed that up.

Only getting 4000km (or 2400 Miles) In-between Oil Changes!!!

FCA Canada Customer Care called me back today and although she herself was nice she could not help me or direct me to other level of management to solve my issue. CHRYSLER now tells me that my oil change interval would be UP TO 16,000 km or 10,000 miles or anywhere in between that. Could be 1000 km or 600 miles. My experience has been as little as 4000 km or 2400 miles. As long as the service department thinks my truck is running to spec there is nothing wrong. Accept for the cost of thousands of my dollars and days of my life getting my truck serviced. I m told if I miss an oil change my truck will shut down to avoid damaging the engine. That s helpful for a $55,000 truck and I bought the extended warranty.

Fun fact:

I m am also told that if I m stranded in a winter storm with my kids on winter roads don t run my truck to keep warm. After a very short amount of time the Dodge Eco Deisel will shut down until it gets an oil change. The sales department or brochure did not tell me these major limitations however it would appear as though Chrysler would be ok with you finding this out after you buy their truck. Buyers beware.

Service at Willowbrook Chrysler was a much better experience than Coquitlam Chrysler. I found Coquitlam Chrysler very snobbish, the salesperson job was to give us the keys and license plate to test drive and smile, very limited knowledge of the vehicle. Accounting was no better, made errors on the paper work, and the Sales Manager did no better. Service department gentleman was very kind, but the mechanic had me wait 5 hr to charge up the start/stop battery, and it still didn t work,
So I took it to Willowbrook Chrysler, there, the Service department was outstanding, the stop/start battery failed the test, so they installed a new battery, all was still under warrantee.

Scott in the Service center has been very helpful and after a few attempts at it we solved the mystery of the squeaky breaks. It was a bit of a pain as one fix lead to the strain coming off another part of the car and then that part squeaking but the guys stuck with me through it and we now have a squeak free Grand Caravan.

I m going to be completely forthright and honest about my experience with Coquitlam Chrysler. Dealerships are only as good as the sales teams and service members that they have standing behind them.

I will say that Kevin Barnaby is by far one of the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with... period. Not only did he take all of my calls, answer all of my questions whenever I needed, he was fantastic and extremely patient with my young children. My 2 year old daughter, (who is very shy), warmed up to him quickly. You can tell Kevin genuinely cares that you are completely comfortable from the moment you walk in, to the time you leave with your new vehicle.

He worked with us to find the right vehicle, for the right price and I never felt pressured to purchase anything.

A vehicle purchase should be exciting and memorable, and Kevin made it just that!!

I bought a 2008 Wrangler at this dealership a couple of weeks ago. Vehicle seemed in good shape and was inspected by Jeep/Chrysler. Sadly, the service department neglected to fill the tires properly; as soon as I left the lot the "check tire pressure" light came on in the dash. A quick stop at Kal-Tire solved that problem, but two tires were seriously under-inflated. Therefore, 1 * deduction.

In sales, Nick was very helpful and accommodated my special requests. He also took the time to follow up with me, so I might give this dealership another chance and have some nicer seats installed soon.

Our First experience with Coquitlam Chrysler was back in August when I purchased my first vehicle from them. The service was top notch and they made me and my wife feel like family, Mike in Finance was so great and made the experience a complete Joy. So when my wife said she wanted a new vehicle we did not hesitate to return to Coquitlam Chrysler. That is where we met Chris Dewilde who made the vehicle selection process beyond easy. He was so well informed and made sure that every last question we had was answered in full. After selecting our vehicle we met with Daryl in Finance who made the final steps so easy it was like we were old friends just hanging out.

I will return to Coquitlam Chrysler when looking for vehicles both personal and for my business. I would also recommend everyone to go see Chris and Daryl they will not disappoint.

They're just trying to squeeze you for the highest price they can without you walking out the door, with a friendly demeanour of course. I also don't recommend signing on any deposit with them for any reason. I had a much better experience after travelling to the next nearest Chrysler dealer, and would recommend you save time and do the same.

Deeply disappointed, very sad having our Jeep SRT8...

Deeply disappointed, very sad having our Jeep SRT8 damaged in front of our eyes, very disappointed in the service staff, service manager and store manager, we watched our door being opened and hit against the steel vehicle lift, I confronted the senior service technician when we saw it happen. And nothing , they denied the whole thing, Three of the top staff did not help or apologize. When you bring in a top of the line black 100K Jeep SRT8 you would think they would be careful not to open the door against a steel lift , dent and chip off the paint. The store manager says there is cameras everywhere and will review them and get back to us . My wife was in shock to see the door damaged and to witness it happen! Wow what an experience! Previous to this incident, the day before I brought the Jeep in for an oil change at Coquitlam Chrysler, drove home checked the oil level. And found that it was overfilled by two liters, Way above the cross hatched oil level lines , so I drove it back the next day. The service manager brought the jeep into the service bay , parked the Jeep not parallel to the steel lift. But was careful getting out not to damage the door .Then the service technician tried to remove the oil with a plastic hose through the dip tube but was not successful. I am not sure of the condition of the plastic hose, dirty or new? Now I wonder if there is any dirt in my engine after the new synthetic oil change I just paid for? I would have thought they would have lifted the Jeep up and removed the oil plug and removed two quarts of oil. Then the senior service technician tells me the oil level has to be taken as soon as the vehicle is shut off , before all the oil settles in the pan. Which makes the oil level way to high. Then opens the door, hits our door against the lift. Now my Jeeps door is damaged and the oil level is still not within the owners manual specifications. Worst of all , now I wish I had never taken it back there. Now my door is DAMAGED and no one in the store will return my phone call even after several messages. I was hoping the store Manager would return my call , but NOTHING, My wife and I are left a very upsetting experience that I hope no one else has to go through! I am going to make a complaint with the RCMP, and Chrysler Head office Canada. This is an example how a domino effect can happen . (1) oil service technician puts too much oil in. (2) Service Manager parks The vehicle incorrectly in the oil service bay. (3) Senior service Technician doesn't realize the vehicle is parked incorrectly, and to close to the lift . Then opens the door against the steel lift and damages the door. (4) Manager tells us he will review the cameras in the shop and call us back. I received no call back, even after several messages left by myself, I got no reply. ALL OF THESE PEOPLE DID NOT DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY, IF THEY HAD MY VEHICLE WOULD NOT BE DAMAGED RIGHT NOW! I feel failed by both the vehicle service side and the customer service side of Coquitlam Chrysler. If I was the store manager I would have simply looked at the cameras, saw the incident . Fixed the door and paint and moved forward. For all those Mopar enthusiast out there , you may not want to bring your SRT8 , Hell Cat , or Track Hawk in for service, It may not be in the same condition as it came in when it leaves the service department! My experience does not receive a single star. By the way Scott and Ben! Thanks for ignoring all of my calls and messages. These store managers define THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

Terrible service! This dealership always give you a call and promises you a very great deal and when we come to the store, they keeping promissing a terrific deal. However. when we agree with that and want to close the deal and we are ready ready to sign the papers we have many surprises! There are many differents points that we already agreed, and always they say that they checked they saw different things they already checked before and they are not interested in keeping their promisses anymore. That happened many times whit this dealership and we are so desapointed with them. Definitivelly, my husband and me do not recomend it to anyone and for sure, we are not going to go back there anymore!

After some research I decided on a 2015 Dodge Dart GT Sedan. I found the vehicle I was looking for through Coquitlam Chryslers on line inventory and submitted a request for pre-approval of financing. I was contacted within a few hours by telephone and spoke with Kelly from on-line sales and subsiquently with Darryl from the business office. An appointment was made and when I arrive I was helped by Troy from the on-line sales. After a test drive of the vehicle and my decision to proceed, the vehicle was detailed while I finalized that paperwork with Darryl. He took the time to explain in detail all of the aspects of the services, warranty and optional coverage available to me. After signing the papers and obtaining insurance from an on-site agency, Troy again reviewed the vehicle and it's features and coverage with me.

The entire process was enjoyable and I never felt pressured to purchase or accept optional coverages. Kelly and the On-Line Sales Manager along with Troy were a pleasure to work with.

I was assisted by Darryl & Michael in the business office with the purchase of winter tires with the help of Bruce in the parts department. I chose the Diamond Kote Process for the vehicle and while in for that service, the tires were installed.

I have been driving my Dodge Dart GT for a few weeks now and am enjoying the vehicle.

I would not hesitate to recommend Coquitlam Chrysler to anyone looking for service or a new vehicle.

I am writing to explain my experiences with Coquitlam Chrysler.

In 2010 we were looking for a new truck and wanted another dodge to replace the one we already had. At the time the model that we were looking for was in high demand and hard to find. Even though there was not one on their lot that was close to what we wanted they searched and found one at another dealership and Tannis had it brought in for us. We were so happy the day we picked up our 2010 Ram 3500 Turbo Diesel 4X4 Lariat. Our sales person Tannis had done a great job and we were very happy with our new truck.

We took our truck to the service department for all service and warranty work. They treated us well and always did their best to help us and make things work in every situation. Over the 6 years that we have the truck my husband has formed a relationship with the staff there that is been so helpful and friendly. We commend the staff in the service department.

A little while ago the check engine light came on and we were concerned as the truck is no longer under warranty and we feared that it could be a major problem as they were having difficulty clear codes ad finding the root of the problem. They were persistent and work to find the cause. Well they did and we were taken aback. It was diagnosed that it was the Turbo Charger. My husband was very confused as we don't have many miles on the truck and it is used primarily as a tow vehicle for our RV and our boat. It is not used as a "errand runner" or "grocery getter". This was explained to the service department and when my husband went to pick the truck up he was met by Kelly from service and took him into Scott the manager's office. Scott informed Don that there was a definite problem with the turbo and that they had a letter into head office to see if there would be any compensation on the turbo. When Scott heard back from Dodge they had informed him of the fact that they would cover the cost of the turbo and we would pay the labour. Imagine the suprise! We really did not think that there would be any help. We were so happy and grateful. Happy that we didn't have to carry the whole financial burden ourselves and thankful for the wonderful caring professional staff the you have in the Coquitlam dealership. The mechanic Brian does our service work for us and is very helpful .

Due to these events we have told everyone that we speak to about the wonderful people at Coquitlam Chrysler and The whole Dodge Chrysler organization. I am a long time ram owner and wish I would have purchased all of them from these guys! My experience was one I thought didnt exist in buying a vehicle.
I dealt with Robert and between him and Kim not only did I get a great deal I was treated very well! The whole process was flawless, and stress free! I would also like to mention Micheal in parts and service and everyone else I dealt with, you guys and girls are by far #1 hands down! Would like to mention that since I have purchased the truck the treatment has stayed 100% the same not like at most other dealership's! These guys are really setting the standards high!

This dealership is the worst one which I dealt with.They are not honest at all. They will hook you up and get your money away for nothing. You will spend a lot of money for terrible cars.
Please compare the Car prices with other locations Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, if you want to buy these brands car.
Most of Coquitlam owned cars are the most expensive ones. You need to realize their high prices. You will pay much more money than other dealership for same or worst car.
Believe me. Don't go there. Just walk away from them.

Fantastic! Service here was exceptional. All people involved were professional and pleasant to deal with. Kelly ( manager) Marty (salesman) Lynn ( financing) all awesome and helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more. All employees seem happy to be working here, Stefan and others we chatted with were friendly. Any issues I've had all I do is call Marty and he's trying to help.
