Great experience with CWA this week! Delonte put us at ease by breaking down the different options available us and presenting the financial side of things without being pushy or too sales-y. The install team that came out just two days later was friendly and efficient, in and out in less than six hours. HVAC can be one of the more significant investments a homeowner has to make, so being able to feel comfortable and trust in the information that was being presented to us was a relief.

Kenny Ward of Columbus Worthington Air was highly professional and knowledgeable. He identified the ac problem quickly and soon our home was being efficiently cooled again. He answered all my questions and made sensible future recommendations. I was not happy with the cost of a new capacitor that cost over $200 and you can pick one up at Home Depot or Lowe's for $30 or less. This is a common complaint on the internet by other consumers with HVAC companies. Other than parts cost I was satisfied with the service.
Delaine arrived on time to service our A/C system. He changed the filters on the furnace and checked all of the related equipment. He answered all of our questions, and reviewed how to use the thermostat. A job well done!
Columbus Worthington Air is the biggest con rip off HVAC contractor I've worked for in my eleven years in the trade. I personally watched the main SALES tech. there alienate and insult a homeowners intelligence for not replacing a nine year old furnace with a cracked heat exchanger(under part warranty). Despite what they tell their customers the life expectancy of most HVAC equipment is 20-30 years. Not 10-15. I was pushed while employed there to sell sell sell and rush through AC and furnace clean and checks. They are impossible to do well in less then an hour. The idea is perceived value to replace your furnace or AC because you might have other problems with it in the future. In truth most equipment can be fixed and run well for years to come. It's part fear based. "You might put a ton of $ into repairs and then need to make more repairs next year." They promote extended P&L warranties and I feel that's a good thing but most homeowners are under the impression they need to keep a preventative maintenance plan for the warranty to be honored. Dear CWA customers, please save yourself the cost of their PM plans and just keep your air filters and outdoor coils clean. Do that and your extended warranty is still good. They sell Bryant and that is good quality equipment but they high ball for 9-11 grand for equipment(ac & furnace) I know for a fact they don't pay more then 2-3 grand for. If that, maybe less. I buy ACs for between $400.00 and $900.00. non whole sale and not in bulk. Depends on efficiency. I paid about $900.00 for my moms single stage + 90 gas furnace. The techs do sell everything for commissions.

Excellent presentation. Dan P. our sales associate covered several options that would work for the house and was able to answer all of my questions to help guide me to the correct decision on what to buy. He covered all aspects of the purchase and installation process so there were no surprises when I made my decision to purchase the system. There was no pressure to buy a certain option or to purchase from CWA period. Very open and honest.

CWA technician Trevor arrived on time and with the parts he needed to repair our 15 mo old system. He was very courteous (even introduced himself to my wife who was nearby) and went about his work. He went over everything he did with me afterward (which I would have insisted upon, but he did not need that) and all seems good. He cleaned up well and we would invite him into the home again. (the technician that was here the week before not so much, as he started a sales pitch about an expensive add-on without any introduction, while it was discounted 'if I had it installed that day' it was too expensive and perhaps unnecessary, asking technicians to be sales people is not a good business model, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. That did not happen today and we are glad.

I have a service contract with CWA they have always called to schedule my appointment for spring and fall maintenance. I have not received that call this year. I called this morning to schedule an appointment. The person who I spoke with was rude on the phone and I couldn't schedule my spring maintenance until june 28th. Halfway through summer. This type of delay can cause my system to fail prematurely. I am now confused on why I am paying for a contract that the company can't preform the work in a timely manner. This contract is for preventative maintenance.

Mr. Johnson arrived at the correct time and spent 90 minutes evaluating my furnace for a replacement, along with educating me and going over details of my options and prices, providing my two requested estimates. He was calm, methodical, friendly, clearly knowledgeable, and clear. I felt well taken care of, and would use their company again.
Our furnace started dying recently on the coldest day so far this year. Columbus Worthington Air was here quickly after I called. After diagnosis and explanation of all the options by Tim B., we realized a new one would need to be installed. Dan Phelps was at our house an hour later to measure and explain, in easy to understand terms, the best choices. The installation team of Rob C., Zach S. and KAM did a great job of putting the new one in. THE WHOLE TEAM was very professional and we have a great new system at a great price, less than 48 hours from our initial call. I highly recommend CWA for your HVAC needs!

1st ever appointment with CWA for fall furnace check and clean. Tech (Kenny) was friendly and professional. Answered all of my questions politely and thoroughly. Reviewed the service summary thoroughly with no high-pressure up-sale tactics, just the facts and info so I could make decision that was right for us. Will definitely ask them to return in the spring for A/C check and CWA will be my first call if something goes wrong.

Look at Yelp reviews before these bogus Google reviews. They act like used car salesman. My service tech charged me for more refrigerant than the max capacity indicates and then tried to put my on a "subscription plan". They tried to scare me into a large repair multiple times. They are gouging as if they know you'll be a "1 time customer" and pricing out loyalty for profit. I feel really ignorant for calling them & using them after reading YELP not fake Google. I'll be opting for nearly anyone else moving forward.

Requested seasonal furnace check. Mentioned $79 promotion seen on TV when scheduling, was told that had expired. Paid $89 for service. Called, again, after seeing commercial still running and was eventually given $10 refund.

2nd time in 12 years that I have called Columbus Worthington Air to come out to see what the issue was with HVAC system. This time it was for the furnace that would run, stop and start up 2 minutes later. The tech cleaned whatever needed to be cleaned, the furnace was working g properly again, checked the entire system but would need to replace the blower motor and the capacitor, which if I didn't carbon dioxide could leak. One month later the furnace did the same thing. This time I had a HVAC company that was recommended by the furnace manufacturer come out. The tech ran the same diagnostics, cleaned the same part as Columbus Worthington Air, but noticed that the air filter was put in wrong and that there was no condensation, and recommended that I switch to a different kind due to airflow being restricted with the one I had. The blower motor and capacitor was in good condition...no need to replace. Columbus Worthington Air almost cost me over $1000 if I listened to their tech when all that needed to be done was turn the air filter around. Be aware when using Columbus Worthington Air and get a second opinion.
Wonderful service again. They replaced an ac unit two years ago and we had a great experience. When we had furnace issues the cold weather hit this year. They came out that day and discussed a replacement vs repair strategy. The next day they were out getting our heat back on. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and knew what they were doing and talking about. A no pressure experience. Rob, Brian, Winson, Sergio were all awesome. I had 3 businesses provide estimates to replace our furnace and a/c about 6 years ago. CWA was the most comprehensive, professional, and best value. I have been completely satisfied with the systems installed. I also have their annual service and and have been completely satisfied with the technicians and what they perform. Levon was here today. Not only is Rob professional, and a very experienced technician, he courteously took the time to answer all my questions. On time and professional appearance. The issue is that they are straight up taking advantage of people with their absurd pricing. The next most expensive quote i received was literally half the cost for the same work and same 2.5 ton unit. They also told me that i would be forced to purchase a $250 thermostat with the A/C unit. Get a second quote and a third for that matter. A lot of their quote goes to overhead, sales team instead of letting technicians write quotes, (have to pay for another employee and company car) the fancy graphics plastered all over their company vehicles. They may provide good work but it s not hard to see where the extra cost goes. They survive on peoples ignorance and a clean look, not competitive or fair pricing.

Sold us a no name defective heat pump and have not properly fixed or replaced in 9 years. In the current weather it should switch to the heat pump but instead it switches to the gas furnace! Just wrong. Don t buy from them

Columbus Worthington Air is a great business to work with. They schedule appointments at my convenience - even coming out on a Sunday! They confirm appointments ahead of time and provide a call-ahead estimate of their arrival. They let you know ahead of time who to expect so you re prepared for the specific technician. The tech introduces himself/herself by name at the door. They re respectful of my home and property, personable, and willing to answer any questions I might have. But they re also efficient in their work, not taking any more of my time than is needed. Thomas was out on Mother s Day to check my A/C. He wished me a happy day, checked my system, went over his report with me - as always, the entire service experience was wonderful! I am happy to recommend CWA at any opportunity!
