The next most expensive quote i received was literally half the cost for the same work and same 2.5 ton unit. They also told me that i would be forced to purchase a $250 thermostat with the A/C unit. Get a second quote and a third for that matter. A lot of their quote goes to overhead, sales team instead of letting technicians write quotes, (have to pay for another employee and company car) the fancy graphics plastered all over their company vehicles. They may provide good work but it s not hard to see where the extra cost goes. They survive on peoples ignorance and a clean look, not competitive or fair pricing.
