Great service, excellent waiting area. They let you know of services that could be done to your car, when they will need them done and what you could get by with for the time being. Very relaxing when discussing your car needs. Highly recommend over any other Nissan dealerships in the surrounding area!

Update again: so I got a call from the manager of the dealership today, definitely made me feel better that someone is looking to correct the issues then just ignore them. I am moving it from 3 to 4 stars for the simple fact that he took the time out of his day to speak with me about the issue knowing full well he didn't have to. I don't want anyone in trouble over the matter. I'm glad to see a company taking it seriously and seemingly trying to resolve it in a constructive manner. Just that simple act alone does a world of good. I haven't decided if I want to try them again just yet, but the talk with the manager did make me feel much better about them overall.
Original review: Updated review 2016:: This is hard, I have had good experiences overall with repairs. Bought a Maxima new in 2013 loved the car got a dirty feeling from the salesman felt lied to during the sale, bought it anyways. Trying to give the dealership a chance. So last weekend was looking at a 370z Nismo, love the car. Already did my homework, really ready to talk about getting some real numbers. Fist off extremely nice sales person, but not well educated in that car. Again the dirty lied to feeling. Asked price, gave me sticker and acted as if it wasn't something negotiable, not true it's been listed through there website now for 5-6k below MSRP (which is where it should be especially given the '17s are now being sold) gave the sales rep a chance to correct it by small talk about price and what I would like to pay, no budge stuck to MSRP. Clearly I'm guessing they didn't want to sell it to me. I also asked about some features full knowing the answers already and was given bogus theories as answers. Why not just say, "I don't know" then just some answer to make the sale. I mean I didn't call the sales person out, but I shouldn't have to they should know what they are selling and when they walk out, know about that car and what the current prices are. I may sound silly but it's their job to not mislead the customer to just fatten their wallet. At least that is the type of dealer I want to get my money. Guess I'll have to try Westside Nissan or Autonation and see if they're more educated in what they are selling. I have no problem paying a fair price, but not an obscene one where the vehicle has been sitting there for weeks and is listed much lower online.
I recently went to service my car. I booked an appointment online 1 hour before I was to arrive, which was super convenient. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and helped. I always enjoy the waiting area where you could watch a movie, get popcorn, a soda, or a cup of coffee, however this time the lounge area was not up to par. There was popcorn, chips and paper towels on the floor in the restroom the same. Please understand this is not how it is in the mornings or early afternoon. the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
Kyle Smith sold me a beautiful 2015 Nissan Sentra. His customer service skills were great and answered every question I had. Justin assisted him with the sale and not once did they ever low ball me, try taking advantage of me or feed me garbage. Everyone was very kind and very knowledgeable. The last person I dealt with was Charles in Financing and he was great!!!! He was very personable and made the car buying experiencing just that much better. All around- the best car buy experience I ever had. A+++++++ you made a client out of me for life and I will PROUDLY tell people where I got my car from and that I'd never go else where! You have good referrals coming from me!
If I can give 100 stars I would!! The customer service by far exceeds any that I have encountered anywhere. Bill has been my go to guy since I first moved here to Florida and have never had a bad experience. I am a loyal Nissan cutomer as long as I own Nissans.
When I make an appointment, I am under the assumption that my car will be worked on around that time, especially if we are waiting for the vehicle! No one ever said the appointment time was to just drop it off and that the car would be worked on when they got to it. I have never in my life been to a dealership or any other type of service place that runs that way. If they knew it was going to be a while, something should have been said so we weren't waiting around all day for it.
Every time I pull up the EXPRESS service lane I sit in my car for 15+ minutes. They hear the bell loud and clear and still dont come out. Then want to charge you for something you had no control over. Then walk in and you stand there while everyone lolly gags around paying no attention to your presence
Over the past 2 years I've purchased 2 Nissans from Coggin. Both sales experiences were excellent meaning we did not have the long contentious negotiations that usually go with buying a new car. I've also had both cars serviced exclusively at Coggin Nissan. They've always done everything possible to ensure the minor problems and routine maintenance were completed accurately in a reasonable time.
When I came to look at the vehicles Rafael greeted us and helped us right away. I let him know what I wanted and he showed me the options. He is a very helpful person and I would recommend anyone to come see him. He made my daughter and granddaughter comfortable when they came to the dealership. He offered to come pick me up when the car I wanted arrived. I was going to give up on the deal but Will made a way for me to get the car and get financing I needed. I am very thankful for all their help. Thanks to Coggin Nissan
I go here for my regular maintenance and have no problems with general service needs. Special requests sometime fall short of expectations. I.e. I had a meh quality window tint that may have to be re done. Windows were not cleaned very well before applying tint. Will decide later after it is fully cured. I care more for function than fashion so overall it will be OK. Had picked up some road tar some place and they got most of it off and did so at no charge. As long as they stand by their work at later dates as/if needed I will be happy. Amenities at this location are good. Soda, popcorn and a movie room. Transportation if needed may be available if your timing is right. Staff is always friendly and informative and keep track of when PM work is needed. Again I feel overall there is room for improvement in attention to detail/quality in the not so routine requests. *Will update this review from time to time as I continue to get my car serviced here.
I could not say enough good things about the Coggin at the Avenues (Nissan) service team and my service advisor Paulina. They really do have my best interest in mind. They don't try to sell you anything that you don't need and in fact try to help you save money. I have two Nissans and would not take my vehicles any where else.
That was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. My sales agent Jon was very patient and my finance manager Mike a pleasure to work with. These guys made magic happen and I'm in LOVE with my Altima :)
Recently purchased a new car from Aram Mosinyan at Coggin Nissan. It was a great experience from start to finish. They have a great staff and a large selection to choose from. Couldn't be happier with our new Altima! Thanks again Aram!
I purchased a used Murano last year & had a great & quick experience. I didn't have to walk the lot for hours or look at a buch of cars I didn't want or couldn't afford. I told the salesman, Justin, what I wanted and wanted to spend & I saw my options & chose one. I was in & out in a few hours- a miracle for car buying!
This month I finally hit my first service requirement (oil change & tires rotated). I decided to give the service department a shot & showed up one morning. It took about an hour from the time I walked in to walking out. I got a comprehensive list of how everything "looked" in the car & what might be needed next time. No pressure to do a bunch of stuff I didn't yet need. Just "here's what we did, here's some thing to consider for next time".
I had a toddler with me & thankfully their waiting room has a giant "cinema", drinks, food, gaming systems & magazines. Plenty to entertain my toddler. One of the service employees even gave her a frisbee & another a balloon, which I though was really sweet & helpful! As someone always skeptical of the dealer- this one I actually like & will use again. Everyone is very professional.
I never knew getting your car serviced could be so fast and easy. Richard Smith made sure my car was taken back right away and he kept me updated on the progress. He was very polite, cheerful and easy-going which made the process even easier. That is why I will only take my car to Nissan of The Avenues. Thank you Richard!
I had to bring my car in for service today and as always, I am treated like a king!! Bill Mooney is an asset to the Coggin Group!! Bill routed my car through service and had me out of the shop in an hour. There aren't many things you can count on but you can always count on getting the BEST service available at this dealership. Keep up the great work!!!!
salesman dont tell you straight up.i told them i have my own check .but in the end they want me to finance with them.so i left and bought my nissan frontier somewhere else
Kyle Smith went above and beyond. He made it comfortable and was very insightful. There was no rush and he listened to EVERYTHING I had to say. I'm ready to go get another car just because. Bryan in accounting made the process even more enjoyable. I cant say enough good things. I'm appreciative for the work ethic they possess and the time they spent making sure I was happy. Great people at Coggin Nissan.
Amazing Service department. Bill Mooney is the best service adviser. I just bought another Nissan, just so I could keep doing business with the best in town. Thanks Coggin and Bill.
Got the exact car I wanted. Everything else was downhill from there. My tags took two months to arrive since I was from out of town. Tampa to Jacksonville, a three hour drive took them two months to mail it.
Now I have the tags but when I get checked at the macdill gate where I work, I get told the car is still registered to the former owner and that the tag is bad. How many times do they mess up a tag? It's pretty much the same process and they have royally screwed me.
This was a bad experience. Manager in use cars was very rude I think his name was John he fussed about giving me $20 for gas to get back to georgia after I just bought a twenty thousand dollar car that is bad customer service he let $20, cost him a $30,000 sale
This was the easiest sale for anyone. We knew what we wanted you had the van. It was the finance part that we were not happy with. We came into the dealership already preapproved for a loan and it took over two hours for finance to get to use. This is unacceptable and the finance mgr was not nice at all!
Kyle Smith at the Avenues coggin Nissan made my car buying experience a breeze. He went above and beyond to find exactly what I wanted and worked with my out of state mother on the finances. Which is no picnic. I wpould recommend Kyle and Coggin Nissan to anyone in the market for a new car.
This is a good place to take your vehicle for service. They are friendly and very helpful. Bill Mooney is a busy person but he ensures all his customers are greeted when they arrive and taken care of in a timely manner. He also explains everything to you that needs done to your vehicle as well as keeps you updated on the status. Service has always been exceptional here.
My parents got a car and our service was from Rafael Elvira. He should get a raise because he was so nice and he gave me a high five and is so friendly! I highly recommend this Nissan because my parents car is great! :)
I have a new NV3500. In a lot of ways it's new to the service department as well. Despite that they have worked hard to take care of issues as they arise, keep me comfortable while they're working and even giving me a loaner if the work was going to be to long. My only gripe so far is that I have had to make 5 trips to the service departments in about two months. A new car shouldn't need that much. I am still hoping that they will sell maintenance manuals for my van. I want to make the interior into something special but need wiring diagrams, disassembly instructions for finish pieces in the cabin and bed. Apparently they just don't exist. Part of a new car I guess.
Rafael is the best! He made sure I was happy and got what I wanted. He was honest and kind! I definitely recommend going to him if you re looking for a car!!!
Coggin Nissan does an awesome job! I almost never have an appointment and they always find a way to fit me in for service. I will continue to bring my Pathfinder to them and will recommend their service to others.
Great experience with them, particularly a Mr Rafael elvira and Bryan ( sorry I don't recall your last name) the finance manager. I live 3 hours from the dealership and over the course of 3 days everything was worked out and we were both happy with all the arrangements. If I was buying another vehicle I would go there again hands down knowing what to expect and the caliber of gentlemen I was working with.
I have friends who purchased cars from Coggin Nissan @ The Avenues and all have given a Five Star rating. I purchased a Murano three years ago and have had all service done there as well. FIVE Stars is right on target. I definetely recommend this dealership over any other. Glenda
I had an appointment with Orjon Quriako and he was nothing short if AMAZING. Him and Bryan we patient, they helped me pick a good car, got a great deal and I didn t feel forced into a deal. I didn't have haggle or anything they took great care of me. I will refer my friends. If you are looking for a car go in and ask for Jon he is AMAZING.
Don't waste your time. Terrible dealership had the worst sales person ever when we were in the market for a car. Don't ever try to get somebody on the phone because that's an impossibly.
Our sales person knew nothing about the car we test drove. Had no clue about the stock of the dealership.
we had to walk to the back of the dealership to get the car we were going to test drive. I think I could have done a better job than our sales person did.
My experience is always a pleasure taking my car in to have service from the time I check in until I'm leaving the driveway of Coggin Nissan at the Avenues!!! Bill Mooney is an amazing person to deal with regarding service, questions and getting my car in for service. He is very friendly and professional and provides excellent customer service!!! Nissan at the Avenues is the best!!!
This was our best car buying experience ever. Jeff Johnson went above and beyond to find us exactly the vehicle we were looking for at the price we wanted. I definitely recommend Coggin Nissan at the Avenues!
I was treated with respect by all involved. No games or nonsense, that I appreciate. Robert is a good sales person, did not attempt to pressure or influence my decision.
only for this last visit- i went to get my oil changed, which took much less time than i was told it would, which is fine as well- but, this is the first time i've been in for service and my car not get washed or otherwise cleaned- it was a little disappointing-
Mr. Casey was very personal, professional, and helpful during my visit. He kept me informed on the status of my vehicle and made sure that I had a clear understanding of what needed to be done to fix my vehicle.
Best customer service I've had at any garage/dealership! Spent 10 minutes there with Raymond and he helped me more than I could've asked for. Would recommend 10/10.
Rafael is the best sales consultant I have had the pleasure of working with. He was patient and very knowledgeable. If you are shopping for a new Nissan I would definitely recommend you see Rafael at Coggin Nissan. Thank you for a positive experience.
The service manager went above and beyond to make sure I had no contact with anyone due to covid-19. I take care of my parents who are both over 65 with underlying health issues. He sent a service man to my home, fixed my car at my house and I was able to pay online. No person to person contact. Excellent service!!!!! Life long customer with service like this! Thank you for helping me in my time of despair.
Jeverson was amazing! From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. We spoke with the sales manager Will and got what we needed where we wanted. Great customer service. They were very easy to work with and we would highly recommend going there. Thank you gentlemen for making the dreaded car buying experience wonderful!
Rafael Elvira sold us a new vehicle for our business. He was phenomenal in showing us the different options in vehicles and getting us the most for our money. Thank you for keeping our payments in budget and getting us the best deal possible!
I originally went in to service my existing car, which I always do at Coggin Nissan of the Avenues as they provide the best service consistently. While I was there waiting, I decided to test out a 370Z and fell instantly in love. Lou, one of the sales representatives there helped me out tremendously! He was patient, suggested options but never was pushy. I was thoroughly impressed and knew at that point I'd never buy a Nissan from anywhere else. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Coggin Nissan of the Avenues.
I understand understaffed and overworked but being told 2 hours tops then waiting 4 and a half as well as the mechanic writing a report that my car has had front end damage when it absolutely has not and will depreciate value if not removed from the report is asinine and unprofessional. I've been a loyalist up until this point but am unsure I trust bringing my car in anymore if false reports are going to be written. Other than that my problem was taken care of but the underlying problem of a false report makes things almost not worth it.
On January 31, 2015 I had two nails in my Quest van tire. I was in a panic to get it repaired because my friend's dad was very sick in the hospital and I had to go get her boys in Daytona. They did not have my tire in stock and all the tire warehouses were closed because it was a Saturday. I knew I could not drive all that way on a small tire. My advisor Bill was amazing. He arranged for an Armada car for me to use until my tire was repaired. This is the third Nissan vehicle I have owned and I always am so impressed with the service department. I do all my service there.
In addition, my husband always wants me to shop around for tires when we need new ones but I found the price at Nissan better than most places even the Costco and Sam's Club that some of my friends use. They have a buy 3 get 1 free promotion all the time. The best surprise is when I went to pick my car up, my tire was replaced free under their tire protection plan since I bought new tires in the last 12 months. My husband was shocked and said okay I will never make you shop around for tires again because we cannot beat how they treated us in this situation.
Cars are always stressful and repair costs are never put into our budgets but Nissan has always been honest and fair to deal with. Thank you Bill, Jai, Corey and all the service team at Nissan for making my service experience so positive.
I am planning on purchasing a car for my daughter to drive and I am certain it will be a Nissan.
Great experience in purchasing my car. i didn't feel pressured at all and Davin Britt was extremely helpful. he gave me options and made sure that i made the right selection for my current situation. i would highly recommend Coggin Nissan at the Avenues.
I recently leased a Nissan Rogue with Jason "the real deal" Smith, I mean he really is the real deal! The whole staff was professional and very helpful, they not only want your business but your trust and satisfaction. I had no intention to get a car that day, I had just took my Ford Escape to their collision center to get it upraised and thought I'd stop by their dealership to check out their cars. Boy their honesty and respect made me go with Nissan. By respect I mean they didn't try to tell me what to do, what I've encountered with many dealerships. Jason listen to my needs and concerns, made his own suggestions but ultimately let me decide what was best for me. Coggin Nissan at the avenue is not just a dealership, a relationship and trust builder, because they want you to be happy and come back and also write a wonderful review like this! And did I mentioned all the calls I received from them to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my purchase? So go Nissan, but go at the avenue and ask for "the real deal" Jason Smith!
The only thing I would prefer is if the total cost of the repair is explained including waste fees. I just had my oil changed and it was the price that it was stated which included waste fees. With my brake repair and brake fluid change I had an additional $36.00 in shop fees which are not broken down. I think those should be disclosed up front, so when I am going to pay my bill I am not surprised.
Just finished the worst three month long process with this dealership. It was one problem after another.
They took almost a month to get in parts for my new car. Through this time I never received a phone call to let me know what was going on. I had to call every time. The only call I got was after three and half weeks to have me make an appointment to have the parts installed. I asked the lady if they had all the parts and I listed them off. She told me she would check and call me back. She called back and left a message saying they had them all. I arrived and I tried to ask the service person if all the parts were in and before I could list off all the parts he cut me off and said yes. When I came back to pick up the car the next day everything was not fixed. Come to find out they still did not know all that need to be fixed nor did they have all the parts. Took four more days to get it fixed.
If that was not bad enough it took them almost three months to register our car. We were moving to Virginia within a month of buying the car and they told use that it would not be a problem to register the car there for us. Well three months later two temporary tags and a dealer tag (as they could not issue another temporary tag), dozens of phone calls from me checking up on the status as they would not do anything until I called, and calls to Nissan Corp it finally got done. Oh and by the way I registered another car in VA in one 45 minute trip to the DMV.
If you get anything out of the it is to NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. We like our car but the experience from the dealer is terrible.
The service Dept staff are Great. The service advisor ANDIE was so friendly and helpful., and this Mechanic named Brandon was really nice, he took the time to sit with me in the car to listen to it and tell me where was the noise coming from and FIXED IT :)
Coggin Nissan at the Avenues hit this one out of the ballpark! I was toying with the idea of purchasing a SUV because I currently drive a sporty 2 door car and my 2 dogs cannot fit. I research every purchase I make too death on the internet. After narrowing my research to a Nissan, I visited the website of Coggin Nissan at the Avenues looking at their inventory. Shortly thereafter, I received what appeared to be an automatic response email. The following day, I received a very polite email from sales associate, Nancy Crocker, introducing herself, Coggin Nissan at the Avenues and leaving her contact information. 2-3 days later this same employee left me a message on my cell phone. Loved, loved, loved the "NOT In Your Face" sales approach of Nancy. I am very busy at work during the day and most evenings. I do not like sales people blowing up my phone and email. Yesterday, a week after my visit to their website, I had the opportunity to visit Coggin Nissan at the Avenues. Nancy spent an appropriate amount of time getting to know why I was considering buying another car as well as my likes and dislikes. We were able to narrow my search to 3 cars....again, not wasting my time. I was introduced to the GM who was as nice as Nancy. Although the store was extremely busy due to the holiday, he spent the right amount of time talking with me and thanking me for coming by. Nancy and I closed the deal on a Pathfinder. Afterwards, I was introduced to Bill for the financing and contract signing. Bill and I had the most fun completing this arduous task. Although very professional, Bill has a super sense of humor and made this process of the sale a piece of cake. From start to finish, every step was a "class act." I would recommend to everyone. P.S. I am almost 50 yrs old and this is the FIRST TIME I have written a review! This fact should speak volumes about my wonderful experience at Coggin Nissan at the Avenues!
Louis ibarra did a wonderful job,he was fast and efficient. I've been with nissan for over 20 years now and coggin nissan and there team are the best.Lou got me in a new car the same day and they always do there best to give me a great deal.thanks brian Nissan rider for life
I have been coming to Coggin Nissan since 2008; I had an oil change appointment on 08/14 at 8:20am, which I arrived a little beforehand and waited in the waiting area. Normally my oil change is completed with wash within an hour and I'm out; I had to be at work by 10:30, so I had enough time to get it all don, but unfortunately this time I didn't leave until after 10:20am and was late to work, had I known they were going to have a lot going on that morning, I'd had made my time to come in later that day, but I never had a problem leaving within an hour. My oil change was done right before the hour was up and Bill, who is amazing, called me up, and let me know my car was going to be washed and would be right out; I didn't get called back up until after 10:20, and I had already asked once how much longer; apparently they had a lot going on and the car had just been sitting there, bill himself went out there and washed my car in between helping all his other costomers, so in no way does this reflect Bill, but it really sucked sitting there that long for just an oil change and not being told once it was going to take longer because they were behind. I know I wasn't the only one complaining that morning how late it was all taking.
My car wouldn't start and Nissan's Towing picked it up and brought it to the shop. I was also given a rental while my car was being repaired. Bill Mooney was absolutely wonderful!!!!!
The dealership was willing to work with us, I feel that we got a fair deal. Salesman, Jason the real deal Smith was great, not pushy or overbearing which usually sends me running out of a dealership. I highly recommend Jason and would certainly buy a car from him again.
Bill Mooney and Richard / Service Dept., always make me feel comfortable with the service work on my car. They keep me informed and are both great assets to Coggin Nissan @ The Avenues.
I loved my experience at Coggin Nissan. Sale Rep John Helms followed through to make sure that all my needs were met. Mr Pham and Chris in Finance worked their tales off to make sure that I got the best deal I could get. Highly Reccomend!!!!!!!
Davin Britt and Bobby Pratt helped me get into a vehicle they pulled together and found the perfect car!!! Davin Britt was so professional and did everything he could with the information he had at hand! Got approved by the bank and he called me to let me know he had the car I ve been looking for and it s ready to go!! I came in signed papers and drove off with a new car!! Thank you so much Davin I ll be recommending people to you from here on out!!!
Our sales person, Orjan Qiriako, was very helpful. He was able to quickly answer any and all questions we had surrounding the vehicle. Made us feel very welcome. Will definitely tell friends and family about our positive experience. It s very nice, as a female, who does all the car shopping for our family to be treated with respect. Most car dealers would have bee condescending as my Husband was there as well. This is the 2nd car we have purchased from this dealer and will be back if and when we need another!
I worked with Rafael Elvira to buy my car. It was the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. No pressure, completely stress-free service. It was a pleasure. I felt that I was receiving guidance rather than being pushed to buy something. I will definitely always go back to Rafael in the future.
This is my 3rd time here since moving here from Chicago area. I decided to go to a dealership because that's what I'm use to going to get my car serviced for oil changes since I had free ones at the one back home. SIDENOTE: It sucks that no one around will honor my punch card I received when buying my nisssan in Elgin, IL but I get it. Any way first time was fine was impressed by the cool waiting room with the theater, video games, soda/coffee and popcorn-they have a normal boring one back home. My 2nd and 3rd time there not so much, had over an hour long wait and this last time was 2 hours and 10 mins....this is with an appointment. Like a previous review I read, I too was told my car was almost done and was just being washed after an hour of that the guy helping me went to go check on it and told me it was just sitting there waiting to be washed. Well that never happened. He brought it up unwashed to get me out of there...I guess he could tell I was getting pissy ha. Same thing happened last time, I never got the wash I was promised and WAITED for. Thank god my appointment that I had to get to after this oil change was cancelled otherwise I would of been LATE! You know its bad when the employee is bitching about the service there as well. He seemed disgruntled and tired and getting yelled and and feels as if he has no voice even if he were to say anything is the impression I got. I called and left a message for the manager after I left to talk to him about this before I wrote a review... Still waiting for that call back. I guess he'll read it on here.
Jeverson was the best seller ever .He is very kind and professional. He took he s time to explain everything and find what I wanted. I had a great experience. First time ever I enjoyed buying a car. Very polite and knowledgeable people.I highly recommend Jeverson .Thank you so much for your hard work .I love my new car .
Amazing pre-owned vehicle purchase experience! Kyle Smith is a fantastic human being with a great sense of humor! As a first time buyer, I was nervous, but he made me feel right at home. A huge thank you to Kyle for making this easy.
Great service! Always gets me in and out and does a great job of explaining what was done to my car and what needs to be done in the future. Complimentary washes are great too. My key fob wasn t working and Paul just opened up a drawer and replaced it with another battery, just like that- no charges! Richard Smith is also a very pleasant person to work with. I always choose to go here for my service appointments.
The sales person Robert was very good and friendly. However, on the paperwork end it was a constant sign this before numbers are inputted and a very long wait. It made for a slightly unnerving purchase. Love the vehicle, though.
Very pleased with the quick sales of Rerrick Davis. I was able to come in test drive and let them handle all the work while I continued my day...a quick phone call asking me to come in and finalize and I have my new 2018 Nissan! Fantastic Job!
Davin Britt was an awesome salesman. Thanks to him I now have my Nissan Altima. His friendly and subtle approach to me and my wife was appreciated, considering we didn't get that from the dealership we were just at previously. This was the most pleasant and smoothest car buying experience I've ever had. Thanks Davin!!
