This is the only place I buy my cars from. From Charlie the salesman to Bill at the service department I absolutely recommend this place over any other in Jax. My car is always taken care of and I feel safe knowing any recalls or issues are taken care of when I bring it in for an oil change. I've been a customer since 2001, I've had bought many cars from here and this is the only place that I let touch my car... they have been so great to me over the years!

I would like to compliment Bill M on his friendliness and quick understanding to the problem I was having with my 2009 Altima. He kept me abreast of the investigation of the problem and with the discussion with the warranty company since it was and extended warranty repair. Have been coming toe Nissan at the Avenues for the past two years for my routine maintenance since moving to Jacksonville. Keep up the good attitudes and help!

I just bought my Juke from them 2 days ago and it was an incredibly easy and pleasant experience. Richie is a dream and was so knowledgeable and accommodating, I forgot we were negotiating and not just talking!! No hard sell, lots of info, just what I was looking for and got it from Richie and Coggin. We will definitely be back when it is new truck for Hubby time!!

This is one of the worst dealerships I have ever encountered in person and via the phone!! I did voice my complaint to them, and they could have cared less. The salesperson I dealt with was extremely disrespectful by hanging the phone up in my face. I even asked to speak with the GM, I guess my issue wasn't important enough for him to speak with me. That tells me alot about him. The whole ordeal was a bunch of complete nonsense!! This location doesn't even deserve the 1 star you have to give in order to write a review!!

Raymond and the service department were excellent! I was not sure wether or not my destroyed engine would be covered by my extended warranty. Ray was very helpful in guiding me thru the process and always kept me informed. In the end nissan covered everything, including almost a month in a rent a car!! Great service

I walked into the Service Department at my appointment time. There were 5 people looking at computers at their stations. I looked at each person, 4 males and 1 female. Each person looked at me and not one of them greeted me or said a word. Not a, "can I help you?" So I set my timer on my phone. After 4 minutes, Bill came back to his station and asked who I was.
I found it enormously unprofessional there was no greeting to a paying customer for service. I would only recommend Coggin for the Sales department, not the service department. I'll be looking for another place for service.

Got a 2016 chevy spark for a steal today. The new sales manager Tony was wonderful, our sales rep Ernest was patient and great to work with, and the financial team was fast and friendly. The building was clean, open, and inviting, and their selection had a nice range. They kept my budget in mind the entire time and didn't push me on unneeded warranties or anything of the sort. It was a great first time car buying experience for me, and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family!

I bought a new Nissan Titan this past Monday. The sales person, Brian Martinez, was outstanding and made sure my wife and I both had a great experience. I also got to work with Brent Cox as the Ecommerce rep, Bob Hubble in finance, and Rodney Hayes as the sales manager. All of these individuals did an outstanding job and they compliment each other. A great Nissan Team. Brian was my main contact and was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to make our buying experience pleasurable. I have owned Nissan trucks since 1989 and with this continued service I will be around for more. I will gladly recommend Brian and this Nissan team to anyone I know who is looking to buy or lease a vehicle.

Five star dealership, not enough stars (10 ) for Kaitlin Erickson, best car sales representative, she was amazing. I had looked online and so before I got there she had pulled some options and found a Altima. As soon as I told her I was looking at a maxima it was like she tore up the paper and went to maximas. I Told her exactly what I wanted to spend and where I wanted payments and with in minutes she was talking to her manager who presented a offer only problem was they did not have a Maxima SV in black but where willing to find one for me. Minutes later Kaitlin came back and said that her manager had a second offer for me of a SL in Black on their lot and I could have it for close to the same amount I was looking for. Everything was great, from the easy non hassle negotiations to the detail before delivery. She even pulled it under cover so the consistent 3 o clock Florida rainstorm did not get it dirty. Since I was in Florida on business from Nashville I guess you can say it is worth the drive to buy a car from Kaitlin at Coggins.

We turned in two leased Nissans and purchased a Nissan Rogue. We actually had two salesmen. The first salesman, Rafael Elvira, who sold us the new car, had a trip out of the country after he made the sale. Rafael explained the features available in all models of the Rogue. The vehicle we chose was not on their lot, so he explained the logistics in getting the vehicle. The second salesman, Jon Qiriako, took over until delivery of our new vehicle. Jon explained all the new features and how each worked. After delivery of the vehicle, he sat with us until we understood how each of the new features worked. Both gentlemen were extremely courteous and helpful.

Lets see. I made an appointment online and wanted to see if I could get a loaner and I had another appt and would of like to just knock it out same day... It is an option on the website. If you don't believe me just look! Well I was asking the online customer rep. She was helpful but wasn't sure so I offered to call. I called and spoke with Gary. He got my details and said he would need to transfer me. I could tell he transferred me but whoever it was to hung up the phone. So I called back, obviously annoyed. This time I got Tyler who apologized. I was then transferred again. I asked if I needed to explain myself. I am not sure who I got but the guy was not friendly. Nor was he Raymond. He made it clear they don't offer loaners though I told him I received one before AND wanted to know why it wasn't an issue then. He told me it has never been offered. I reminded him it was on his website. I felt I was inconveniencing him on his job? He transferred me to Raymond who said he couldn't hear me. I am not impressed with how the customer service is. I will update on how my appt goes tomorrow :)

Even though it was the end of their business day Rich had a great and positive attitude and didn't mind showing me various cars . Fantastic service experience at Coggin Nissan at the Avenues! I was having a problem of inconsistent remote starts with my new 2019 Nissan SR. In the end, it turned out to be a mechanical defect giving the computer program misinformation. A problem that no one had ever seen before. An awesome mechanic named Vince worked on it relentlessly and solved the problem. Skeet Ray (Service Manager) and Richard Smith (Service Advisor) refused to give up until this problem was solved and I was happy. Thank you Team Coggin!

This was my first car buying experience and was easier then expected thanks to all the staff especially Zen. Zen is a superior sales associate, he searched for vehicles in my budget and must haves and found me the perfect one for me. The first one which was a Ford Escape he showed me was great, but then Zen showed me that the vehicle had a cracked rear taillight and the rear fender was dented. Zen was extremely helpful and grateful to tell me about the recalls the Escape had so I decide not to take the Escape. After another vehicle he showed me he finally showed me a Nissan Rogue which was in perfect condition inside and out. The Roue didn't have all the bells and whistle but it had just enough that I was looking for plus it is great on gas, and it was with in my budget so I decided to take the Nissan Rogue. Thank you Zen for your profound sales service that helped my first car buying experience go smoothly.

I don t often write reviews, but I had to for this particular occasion. I went in on 11/13 to have my 2016 Altima serviced for a check engine light problem and have the turn signal bulb replaced (side note: HORRIBLE design flaw by Nissan, but I digress). While there waiting for the service, I was contacted by Justin Rhome about the exchange program. I had absolutely no intention of getting rid of my Altima. It had been an amazing car for us, and was working just fine. Justin worked with me to get me a 2020 Rogue, but again, I really wasn t in the market for a new car when I went in. Justin took the time to really make me feel at ease and answer all my questions and assure me that I was not going to get torn a new one on the exchange. I left the dealer 11/13 after having the service done, not with a new vehicle. 11/14 I came back and Justin was still as helpful as he had been the day before! He went above and beyond, even helping me transfer all the stuff from my Altima to my new rogue! I will continue to be a loyal customer, as long as I am able to work with Justin!

I chose to pick that I would recommend Coggin Nissan at the Avenues to friends or family because I actually did recommend it to my sister who purchased a car one week to the day from my purchase. While my experience at the dealership on my purchase was overall good I was a little upset to find out that my sister pretty much purchased the same type of vehicle that I did, but because it was delivered in November 2012 and mine was delivered in January 2013 she received a $6000+ rebate and I only received a $2000 rebate. I did not ask what was the best rebate I could receive when I purchased my car and perhaps that was my fault. Perhaps it was not available on 4/6/13 when I purchased my car. It really didn't matter to me when the car was delivered as long as I was purchasing a new vehicle. I just somehow felt a little cheated by the whole ordeal. When I questioned the salesman about it, his reply was It was the luck of the draw and that he had only been told about the $6000 rebate on 4/12". Even if that was true it really did upset me.
Overall my experience of purchasing my vehicle was good. I started by attending the Community First Credit Union Car Sale on 4/6, but since there were not any Nissan dealers with new cars at the Car Sale I was referred to Coggin Nissan at the Avenues. My salesman was Mike Shaw. We first looked at a Nissan Rouge and test drove it, but it did not have roof racks which I need. One of the sales managers tried to convince me just to have them installed after the purchase and I said that was unacceptable. I agreed to increase my initial offer by $500 to see a vehicle that did have roof racks. I was shown a filthy dirty car that was only $1000 over the cost of the first vehicle that I saw. It also did not have as many options. I refused that car and was quite honestly ready to leave the dealership at that point. Mike Shaw then persuaded me to stay and to find a car that I liked which I did. My offer was met and I felt that I got a fair trade in amount for my car. At the time the $2000 rebate also felt like a very good deal. Christine in Finance was very helpful in not only finding me a rate lower than my credit union had offered that date, but also explained all of the extended service contracts to me. I then went to pick up the car only to find that the detail job was not satisfactory. There was still glue on the hood from the protective cover, the back had not been vacuumed. There was also a small scratch on the back. I was given a rental car and came back the next day to pick up the car- it still was not ready, but after about 45 minutes I got the car, but the scratch was still there. When Mike was showing me the car he commented that one of the men in the detail area had said, " Not all salesmen would give the extra effort to make sure that things were taken care of " I told him that I appreciated his effort, but really was a little bothered by that comment. If it is not the salesman's job to make sure everything is just right with the purchased vehicle then whose responsibility is it? I was told that the detail painter only worked on Wednesdays. Since I work across town this was not going to work for me, so it was decided that someone would come and pick up my car and have the scratch repaired and bring the car back to me. This did happen and I appreciated the extra effort. Overall I was happy with everything until I found out that my sister was offered a much better rebate deal just a week later on the same type of car. I am really not sure that I will become a lifetime customer at Coggin Nissan.

Okay so I had an extremely rough experience at this store a couple of days ago as of making this post. And it started with even calling about the car. I found a vehicle on their website that I wanted more information about, I called the location and the receptionist answered and she transferred me. About a minute later I got someone s voicemail (it s 2 in the afternoon). I called again, get transferred again, and got sent to voicemail. Again. I call another time trying to not get irritated because I know it isn t the receptionist fault, I get transferred again to get sent to a voicemail for the 3rd time. I call back one last time and tell the receptionist if I don t talk to someone this time I won t be calling back they will lose my potential business. I m on hold for a minute and someone answers, awesome! Past the road bump? No. I try to ask any information about the vehicle and I get told that he is really busy right now and can t give me any information but wants to set an appointment for the following day, I set the appointment and he tells me come ask for me, my name is Matt. I ll see you tomorrow sir . The next day comes and I get to the dealership walk to the receptionist and ask for Matt, she looks confused for a second before getting up and walking off. Stand at the counter for 2-3 minutes and a gentleman walks up to me and apologizes to me because 1) there is no one named Matt at this establishment, he works at a call center in Atlanta he told me. 2) that the car that WAS ON THEIR WEBSITE was sold several days prior. Okay now I m pretty annoyed. He offers to go look at what they have in stock and I agree, not gonna get into the vehicles because it s purely perspective, but I will add there was one vehicle that was not marked that it was smoked in and when I got in it felt so thick that it was suffocating. (But maybe they aren t supposed too idk, just didn t feel right) But the salesman... oh lord, I m not gonna give his name but he had no emotion in his voice or anything, it s like he had his soul ripped out years ago by either this dealership or the style of job.
(Side note) he did piss me off after I told him my previous vehicle was a Honda and later stated my concerns for the CVT transmissions which Nissan is pretty notorious for having issues with (from my research) and he just called me a Honda fanboy. Moving on.
Basically had to ask for any sort of information on the vehicle, he would point a vehicle out and hand me the key to check it out and he would just sit in the back seat (if applicable) and would wait and not say a word. Only to say so what do you think after I finished looking at it and just stood there for a second. I felt like his mind was 1,000 miles away and who could blame him. This dealership was awful from literally the start of my experience all the way through. If you are a customer and are reviewing this dealerships. Just go somewhere else, you will have a much better experience I m sure.

Kc was amazing my car transmission went out at 60200 miles and it was a 5k fix . Kc worked with me and got the bill reduced by 80 percent. Most mechanics just try and get your money, seeing as my car was a 2012 nissan versa a 5k fix would not be something I would of done. The dealership is smooth and seamless, they also gave me a free rental because my car had 5 recalls. Overall I'd recommend this dealership to anyone!!

First, I have never been satisfied with the deal I received on this vehicle when I purchased it. I had purchased my previous car from this dealership eight years ago when I first moved to Jacksonville. The salesperson was a lady and it was an awesome experience, bought the service contract and was worry free for service and other concerns. When I decided to trade that vehicle in 2008 because of my previous experience there was no question of purchasing another vehicle from this dealership. However this was a horrible experience the sale person was pressuring me about a down payment, I told him what I wanted my payments to be and we agreed. Then he said he could not get me financed payments at that price so I told him that I would pass on the deal. Two weeks later he called and said I could pick up my car so I asked if it was the deal we agreed on he said yes, but I would need to resign the paperwork, but everything was the same. I went in signed the paperwork picked up the car, but when I got the final paperwork in the mail my payment were two hundred dollars more than we agreed on and I did not have a service agreement. the finance company was calling asking for information that was missing on the application.
Now, for my visit on 03/14/2013 I went in to have my ac checked because it was not cooling and the technician found that the compressor was gone out which I thought was unusual since the car is just close to 4yrs old. They quoted me a price that I could not afford since I am unemployed so I told them just to put it back together, but my service adviser (Kristin O'Cock) recognized how upset and disappointed I was so she went above and beyond to look for a way to help me. In her search she found that I had an extended warranty. She set up an appointment for me to bring the car back today 03/15/2013 because there was not enough time for the technician to repair it the prior evening. She made sure everything was taken care of and it only cost me the price of my oil change which was my responsibility. I will continue to bring my vehicle here for servicing because of her excellent attitude and persistent to resolve my issue. I cannot say that I will purchase another vehicle here because I am still not over the bad deal I received from this purchase.

OIL tech left a black oil glove print on my hood. Wadded up wrapper under my hood by the windshield!! The brakes where overlooked ? But being a contractor ..tools in my back seat where disturbed and certainly missing a brand new tool. I was very disappointed by the lack of responce . If you can not trust a simple oil change and brake inspection ? Followed by a CARE LESS MANAGEMENT!! I'm going anywhere else sadly .

The website asked if you desired a loaner vehicle....

The website asked if you desired a loaner vehicle. I had requested one. When I arrived, I was told that loaners are not available for free and that the concierge service to drive me back to work would only be available if I was within 5 miles. My work was 7 miles so I asked how long and was told 2 hours for service. After waiting 2 hours, I was told that they had not even started on it, but they got approval and gave me a loaner. The car was serviced by late afternoon and I was able to pick it up same day. The service supervisor did get my battery that was replaced taken care of under warranty and other services were done well. Previously after a service by Coggin Nissan, the car was vacuumed, but it had not been this time. Also, my clock had not been reset when the battery was replaced. I still appreciated the service supervisor being up front and honest in spite of the issues.
