This past Friday (Halloween) was my 3rd visit to Coggin Nissan's Service Department since my husband and I moved to Florida back in March. Every member of the service department has a ready smile, kind word, and caring professionalism. Frank has been my hero since my initial visit and has always taken care to see that the service on my 2013 Rogue is top-notch. I'm usually there about an hour or so (depending on level of service) and I'm never bored since the dealership has a small recreation/cafe area where I can catch up on business with my wireless devices (my usual time-pass method), take in a movie while munching on popcorn, and/or chat with Coggin staff members while drinking a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Well worth coming by and getting to know the Coggin Nissan Service Team!!

We appreciated the fact that Will Cooper would go out of his way to bring us the 2017 Terrain Denali to our home. My husband and I really hate to drive in Jacksonville. I tried out the Denali and we bought it last night. Normally buying a car is as stressful as dealing with an insurance company. You know you are being taken when you walk in the door. Will' s extra effort and honest approach was not pushy and made the purchase easy. Thanks from the both of us.

Rafael was amazing and took the time to show me every detail about the car. He helped connect my phone to the car and taught me about the radio and navigation system. I would not have felt as comfortable about driving home in a high tech car if he hadn't. Zen and Mike were also very helpful making sure I felt I got the most bang for my buck and all staff were helpful and not pushy. I felt they were more than willing to negotiate a good deal for both of us. I loved the free soda fountain, popcorn and movie theater while waiting. Very nice touch. I will be willing to drive the distance for service now!

I was in the market to purchase a new SUV and wanted to see a Pathfinder and test drive it. Salesman doesn't bother to bring key so I can look inside/test drive. When he returns with key and I request to test drive the vehicle he suggest we wait until my husband is present. I then said I was the one making the purchasing decision which had no effect on my access to test drive the vehicle. I then attempted to get a better picture of the actual purchase price of the vehicle because it is not anywhere near what they are advertising online if you're intending on paying them in cash or securing financing elsewhere. He was unwilling to provide any pricing information for those conditions. I then asked another sales person who actually had the audacity to say to me that this isn't like buying cereal in the grocery store.

I'd like to point out that I purchased a new vehicle from another dealership the very next day. My suggestion would be that Coggin Nissan does a little bit of training for their misogynistic salespeople. I would never recommend this dealership to any women unless you're prepared to contend with the sort of attitude in advance.

I hesitated to leave a full review because I thought I was an isolated incident but I have spoken with another woman who had a very similar situation so I feel compelled to let others know.

Good dealership, takes care of customers. I dont normally use a dealer for services but since I have been coming here I have been nothing but happy everytime. Frank is my man at service. Takes great care of everything and Kristin is great at communicating with you about any items of concern. Also the parts team is great. Jason makes it so that buying OEM isnt a horrible idea!

My salesman Charlie was very helpful and informative.
He took his time and found the best vehicles to suit both myself and my wifes needs in the price ranges we needed to be in.
Great vehicles for a great price.

Went in for a SCHEDULED oil change that took two hours! When I got the paperwork I noticed they had put in the wrong oil. When I asked about it I was told not worry about it, that what they put in was better. I contacted Nissan and was told in writing that Coggin had put the wrong oil in and to file a concern with their consumer affairs. This was a worthless waste of time as all the girl did was contact the dealer and then she tells me that the dealer said the incorrect was fine. She had no explanation as to why Nissan said is was incorrect and told me I needed to contact dealer for written verification that they were correct. Later I got a call from my salesman asking about my truck. I told him my concern and that all I wanted was something in writing indicating that the oil was ok. He said he would handle it. As of ten days later I am still waiting. Probably will never buy a Nissan again, and if so, certainly not from a dealership that can't even handle a simple oil change.

I was interested in the Nissan pull ahead program, so I contacted this dealership after pricing a car out through my employee discount site. When I came in I told him I was looking at either a truck or a Maxima, and the salesman really pushed the Maxima on me, but the pricing was nowhere near what my VPP pricing plan had quoted. I tried following up with them regarding the price, but they didn't follow back up with me and can't really seem to come down to a reasonable level of pricing.

When they ran financing numbers for me, they did the typical "make you wait for 30min per negotiation", however my VPP isn't really suppose to be negotiated.. it's suppose to be a set price. I feel like the dealership wasn't being straight forward with me, as the price was way off from what my VPP offered.

I've had a bad experience with 2 completely separate Nissan dealerships, but those were mainly after the sale. The dealership in St. Augustine gave me a way better sales experience when I bought my second Nissan through them.

Very courteous and friendly staff especially Richard in the service department!!! I was having an Awful day being that I was broke down right next to Nissan at Cassat, after them telling me there was nothing that they could do to help me... I called Nissan at the Avenues and Richard saved the day!!! I made there at 1:45 and was walking out with a battery at 3 o'clock!!! I would drive all the way to the Southside Avenues anyday great service and good popcorn!!!

As soon as the Sales rep knew that we were not ready to make a purchase that day, but were still interested to test drive the vehicles we had been looking at, he brought his manager out who then advised that they were too busy to set us up on a test drive and if we could make an appt. and come back during the week. Mind you, there were several other sales personnel standing around with hands in their pockets.
1- I don't care if you're too busy. As a customer I am there to look, test out, and possibly make a purchase. Whether I make one that day or not, shouldn't matter! You're not always going to make a sale but should always make then effort.
2-As a dealership, you are to assist your customers with figuring out what will best suit their needs/wants. I would think you would want to get your customers in the vehicles because that is really when you are going to make your sale. Instead we were basically "politely" escorted out.
Regardless if I was ready to make a purchase that day or not, the effort should always be there!!! I promise I will always come back to who treats me the best, and never again step foot in the place that treats me less than good!

She was helpful in spite of not being the person attached to my appointment. When my appointed sales person was not available she stepped in and was courteous and professional. He was more like a friend of mine, helping me and looking out for me to buy the car I wanted, how I wanted, when I wanted, and pretty much how much I wanted. That was amazing. Thanks Zach. I wanted you to be recognized for the outstanding job that you do.

Michael Patrick was a wonderful salesman, however, the finance manager was absolutely horrible. No personality and had the worst customer service! If you pay cash for a vehicle, do not go here! They put you to the side like you don t matter. If you don t finance a vehicle and they can t make money off of you, you re worth nothing to them. I would not recommend this dealership. Waited over 3 hours to pay cash for a vehicle, and still had to come back the next day. Not a very good experience at all!

My wife got a flat tire on her Honda. Called a few places including Honda dealer. No one could get her in right away. She called Coggin Nissan and they said come in know we will help. They fixed the tire put the spare back with all its tools check air pressure in every tire. When she went to pick it up they said on the house. Amazing. Big shout out to Bill the service guy.

Dishonest Sales/Finance Manager. Be aware they charge an additional fees for their "Appearance Package" which is simple a dealer markup. Its supposedly installed on all their new cars. I believe they said the Altimas was $1,995 for tints, nitrogen filled tires and wheel locks. In addition, I Brought in a quote from Jenkins Nissan and was told their prices are way too low and its not going to be honored when you show up. WELL I just left Jenkins with the quote provided no gimmicks. I got my 0.0 APR with my 6,000 in rebates. NO DEALER MARKUP A.K.A - "Appearance Package". Couldn't be happier. Glad i walked out when I had the chance. SHOUT OUT TO JENKINS NISSAN!

I have worked with Coggin Nissan/Casey a few times and usually my experience is good. It always takes a long time, even if I have an appointment, but one time they did comp my entire oil change because of the wait.

This time, I arrived on time for my appointment and my car sat there for 45 min before being looked at. All I needed to know was if my key could be reprogrammed. Part of my beef is with Nissan in general that my 4 year old car key will not handle an updated program, but to find this out after waiting almost two hours was extremely frustrating. A new key is $400 and I am not inclined to take my business back to Coggin Nissan.

Bought my First Nissan here about 8-9 years ago and had an amazing experience... Bought my most recent one last x-mas and it has been the worst car buying experience I have even heard of... First. The finance "specialist" screwed up and sent Wells Fargo Dealer services AND another Credit union my loan and both tried to collect payment from me essentially double charging me and both of them telling me they were the leanholder... Second. with my first vehicle I bought their Nissan Prepaid Maintenance plan and loved it and told the financial specialist that I wanted the same plan I had before that covered all maintenance for 5 years. He assured me that literally everything would be covered at any Nissan dealer just like before and charged me nearly $5000 for the coverage... However when I took the car in for service recently the Nissan dealer in my home town informs me that the plan I was sold covers only Oil Changes... Got in touch with someone in finance and thus far they are being helpful... Will update my review as needed... *UPDATE ... so their solution was to take my car in trade and put me in a brand new 2017 with the correct maintenance plan... at an added cost to me of only... $15,000... They were really proud that my monthly out of pocket wouldn't change much if I immediately put down $2,000... They basically assumed I couldn't do math and only mentioned the total cost after I asked them, they tried to sell me on the idea based on monthly payment alone... Sneaky and underhanded... At least he was polite. That's worth one star IMO. Nissan has surely gone downhill since 2010... Will never again buy a Nissan

Also we have two small boys that are beyond a handful and he did a great job with helping us trying to wringle them in. Jeremy Criscione took an interest in working with me but avoided being pushy understanding my situation and that really helped in my car buying experience. When I was ready to move forward I was stunned by how quickly the process went and completely appreciate their preparation and commitment to ensuring their customer experience is excellence.

In January of 2018, I bought A 2013 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership. Within 2 days of buying it I had a check engine light come on. Fortunately, Coggin repaired the issue that time. Less than a couple of months later, my check engine light came on again. They instructed me to find a Jeep dealership to take it to and that the warranty I purchased would cover the cost. The warranty did not and I paid more than $500 out of pocket for this repair. Now June 2018, my check engine light has come on 2 more times. I decided this time to go back to the dealership and try talking with someone, as I feel I should not be paying for repairs that started on day two of ownership, and talked with Nate Clemons, who I believe is a sales manager. His answer to my concerns about buying a vehicle with issues was, there s nothing he could do . Instead having the least bit of concern and at the very least reading the code for the check engine error or possibly offering me options which would ve made me feel better about spending my OWN money on repairing this vehicle that I JUST SPENT $25000 on, he responds with an attitude of it s not his problem.
My experience at Coggin Nissan at the Avenues was the worst car buying experience I have EVER had. Never again will I buy from this dealership! I m disappointed in the customer service and will highly discourage EVERYONE else that I come in contact with NOT to buy from this dealership as well!

Great place and very nice when everything is smooth and easy. Making an appointment often difficult when there is something out of routine. Had Murano in for free routine servicing and Nissan recall .Worked on car for 2 hours and threw in a few extras e.g. wheel alignment (300+); no complaint from me. They didn't want to do recall because they could not give me a loaner car (as promised for a long service) for the 4 hrs. They asked that I come another time when they could give me a loner. I was ok with this.....Next call for service was ridiculous. They are very busy and service availabilities are limited (at least when I call). Got an appt, but got a real run around about a loaner. I'm told "first come first serve", can't guarantee a loner car. This was repeated to me several times in round about ways. Eventually told she would transfer me to service. I waited and waited and then they disconnected me. I'm done.

For the second time my tire went flat after visiting the service department. My tire pressure light went on as I was driving away from the dealer. When I called they said it would be 3 hours to look at it and that it could have happened after I left their parking lot. There is no way air would have leaked that quickly from the tire if it had not happened while they were rotating the tires. The car had been sitting in their lot for 4 hours because I was at work. I won t use their service department again.
