Friendly staff and solid connection. Have not had any issues with connectivity and the signal strength had been great.
I have had Coextro TV and Internet for over a year. Everytime I have an issue, I email them and they get right back to me within hours or overnight.
For Example: I emailed about trying to find a more efficient TV plan. Cindy jumped on it and asked for my phone number so she sould call and discuss it. Within about a half hour of mailing Cindy called and she got a better idea of what I wanted. So I offered to put together a "dream list" of channels I would like and sent it off to her that night. The next morning I had her response. Cindy had costed out my "dream list", which turned out to be just that a"dream". The point is Cindy/Coextro went to all the work knowing that it was going to be a lot more expensive than I had budgeted, rather than just saying "Oh that's going to cost you more" without putting in the effort,
I can't say enough about Coextro.. They are Responsive, and Professional, which equates to better value and a higher quality of service. Thanks again Coextro and Cindy.

Was a customer since 2017. Coextro used to be very good but not anymore. As they got bigger they forgot what the loyalty is. Promised me the same rates when I was moving before Covid-19 lockdown but then changed their word after. Never suggest anyone these guys again. There are many competitors in the business that provide the same. You have to remember CUSTOMER LOYALTY IS KEY in any business.

I got the Fibre 250 plan and the internet has been great so far. I live in a Mississauga condo where everything is already installed, all i had to do was set up the router. The service of this company is great. I got the first month free because my previous tenant was also with them. You should definitely switch over if you are with some of the bigger companies out there.
Here is my experience:
- Signed up and bought a modem + router directly from them. A few days later I called to cancel the modem as I wanted to buy my own. They claimed that the modem was already configured so they could not cancel it. Yet a few months later I called to resolve a disconnection issue, they suggested to factory reset the modem to resolve the issue. Why it was OK to factory reset the router (after a few months) but at the very beginning it was not possible to factory reset it??
- The internet worked for about 3 months then it constantly disconnects. I called multiple times and the 5th time, they claimed there was no previous tickets so they had no idea what was going on.
- The 7th time on phone they guided through the manual process to change the channel. Still no good. I suggested to replace the modem since it was still under warranty. They refused citing there was nothing wrong with the modem.
- The 8th time they suggest I buy my own router. I did so even though the gear I bought from them should have proper router function. They guided me (on phone) how to disable the router function so that my new router would work properly with their modem. Still the internet keeps disconnecting and still they refuse to replace the modem+router that they sold me.
All of them seem very nice on phone but I have decided to use other provider. They are more interested in selling a modem+router than keeping a customer.
The technical support knows only how to reboot the router
I have tried Bell and Rogers and was unhappy not only with their pricing structure but with the way they dealt with problems. Switching to Coextro was great not only with the pricing but also how they dealt with problems.
Once I had an internet issue and their service department was patient and thorough. Great job. You can tell how good a company is by how they deal with issues and problems.

If your Internet speed drops, Technical Support Service at Coextro will only provide investigative service if the service drops below 30% of your subscription. For example for a Multi User Moderate Usage package 150 Mbps, they will not engage unless the service drops below 100 Mbps.
As it was explained to me:
Speed variations on speedtests of 10-30% of total speed are normal and expected
The speed dropping is expected particularly in peak hours at night.

I saw the Coextro promotions in my condo and the deal was too good to resist. I called my existing service provider (one of the big guys) a few days later and paid the amount to cancel my contract with them.
The savings are great and there has never been an issue with my service. I bought my own router as well. Always getting 250 mbs download speed. I have never had to contact customer service, but the technician who came to install the line was friendly and fast.
So far it's been 4-5 months. No complaints.
I love these guys. They provide great service for a very fair price. their teck desk (i spoke to Allen twice now) are always going above and beyond to help you with any issues you may have and i love helping "the little guy." Their speeds are much faster then Rogers from my own experience so try and get a quote from them.
this company deserves nothing but 5 star reviews. honestly between the customer service reps, and the speed at which everything was installed. im totally a lifer from this point on.
UPDATE: I recently moved. I contacted Coextro to let them know and book an move appointment. Within a few minutes i had booked the move and gotten a really good date set. If i could give more than 5 stars i would! This is a great company!

With the exception of initializing the service in our home (which was not an enjoyable experience - lack of communication somewhere between Cogeco and Coextro), the service and reliability of internet from Coextro has been amazing. Since we've been with Coextro for just over a month, we will begin to tell our friends and family and encourage them to make the switch! Cut away from the BIG GUYs (we were with Bell for 14 years and Cogeco for 1 year). We couldn't be happier; excellent customer service and fair and reasonable prices for internet.

Started off pretty good. But since yesterday the internet has been down in the entire condo. It's been more than 12 hours without connection and I am not sure if they are working on Sunday to fix it, probably they don't because I can't think of anything that can cause more than 12 hours of connection issue. So if you think having no connection for more than 12 hours is unacceptable than you better don't ever use this service.
Edit: It's been 14 hours and still no connection. There is no ETA available, so I guess I was right they don't work on Sundays even though they claim to be working! So if the connection in your condo fails somehow on the weekend, you and your neighbours will most likely have no connection during the weekend.
Have only had the service for one day, paying for 75 Mbps download/10 upload and getting nowhere near those speeds. Bought the router through Coextro, did everything they told me to do and my speeds are brutally slow. Not impressed. I'll give them to the end of the month and if things aren't any better I'm cancelling. I check my internet speeds often and my last provider was always consistent, never slower than advertised. moved to Coextro because of the 39.95 price for 75 Mbps package but I guess it's too good to be true. If things get better I'll update but right now I definitely wouldn't recommend them. Look elsewhere for your internet needs.
In response to the owners comments below....yes I've been in touch with tech support but it's a painful process, emailing back and forth but getting nowhere. I was left a phone number I can call but can only call after 1:00 which concerns me going forward with what kind of support I'll get when other issues arise. To say I'm disappointed is a huge understatement, thankfully there's no contract, easy to cancel.
Update...so I call the number given to me, navigate my way through the menu to tech support, put on hold for about a minute and an automated voicemail tells me that no ones available to take my call...then it hangs up. I'm not even given the chance to leave a message. Nothing about coextro has even remotely impressed me.
Update...I gave up on coextro, my patience ran out. Speeds were ridiculously slow averaging between 2 and 10 Mbps. Tech figured it had something to do with the incoming line. I reconnected my older modem (still have their service to the end of the month) and speeds were perfect, 30/10 which is the package I had with old provider which leads me to believe the modem coextro sent me was junk. Sent this to tech but they insisted I wait until Rogers replies back to them. I told them I can't wait so I cancelled and already signed up with another provider. Good riddance.
If you want fast Internet and an EXCELLENT service, then give them a chance! Small but reliable company, personalized service and GOOD care. I recommend Coextro! Keep up the good work!

I've only been a customer for two montha but so far everything has been great. Their customer service department was very helpful and responsive throughout the sign up and installation process. I've been getting the speed I pay for, which I wasn't with my previous provider. Thanks Coextro!
Initially I signed up with them as they have a deal ongoing with my condo building. I signed up online and prepaid the rental equipment charge. But the next day, I decided to cancel for personal reasons. I emailed promptly and was told that they can only process cancellations over the phone. So I called and had the cancellation processed. This was around the end of February/beginning of March. I still have yet to recieve my refund back.
I was hoping to keep them in mind for when I need internet services in the future but this experience does not speak well for this company. I should have paid more attention to the 1 Star reviews.
I cant say enough good things about the staff and service! I'm not technologically up to date and their patience and understanding is above and beyond anywhere else! The price is perfect and I just got the TV service and am very happy.
They say the address is serviceable, went as far as signing up where they said I had to cancel with my current provider within 24 hours. I did so and a few days after Coextro e-mail's me indicating they can't service my area and my order has been cancelled. What a joke. Now I'm without an ISP due to their poor business practises.

Hasn't had a single technical issue with them. There was only one billing issue but they fixed it fast without any b*s*. Their customer services are also as good as the big ones (reasonable wait time, clear spoken English and good attitude). Have recommended them to a few friends and they are all happy so far. I had an appointment setup for installations. Their agents and supervisors have a policy of talking over clients instead of listening. Whatever the issue is, first listen before you respond. This is 101 of customer service. I would call both my interaction with Coextra agents highly unprofessional.

So they cancelled my service because I rated them a 1 star because the TV is freezing and none of their solutions worked and their answer was sometimes we can't satisfy all our customers.
The IT guys work late hours and helped me restore my internet very promptly. Very professional!

Had my service installed today via a rCable line. Moved from Teksavvy. So far the speed is exactly what I paid for and the service seems solid. The free TV addon is a nice feature as well! Highly recommended!

She stayed on call and ensured that I received all the communication and made sure everything was set in order. We recently started with Coextro because we read some good reviews with them. When actually getting our services and dealing with their customer services we were very impressed. They have wonderful staff and very helpful. They were friendly, very informative, quick and easy to follow. We had our modem and router installed without problems right on schedule. The internet so far is working great. With good speeds and no problems thus far. I would highly recommend this company, especially based on their customer services.

I stumbled on Coextro a few years ago when I searched for cheap ISPs in Toronto.
They had great prices, all there packages were unlimited in terms of use, were available in my building, and they had great reviews.
So I signed up. I moved recently and got Coextro high-speed Internet for my new place.
The customer service is exceptional I m really techy and I ask a LOT of questions that most would never think to ask. Like can I set the router to Bridge, can I hide the SSID, can I have multiple SSIDs, can I narrow the band, and even more geeky things like that.
They answered most of my questions, very knowledgeably.
The customer support folks are always friendly too.
And the actual product is exactly what you pay for. I m paying for unlimited 150 mbps down and 15 mbps up I average about 149 mbps down and 14 mbps up on my wireless!
That s better than I d get using Rogers or Bell on a similar plan.
It s also UNLIMITED and I mean really unlimited. I don t think I ve ever hit a data cap and been throttled after going over that cap as Rogers and Bell do with their unlimited plans.
And finally, Coextro is way cheaper than Bell or Rogers, and they don t lock you into a long term contract.
Coextro is the best ISP in Toronto.
If you keep paying the big telecoms more for less, you don t deserve to have fast, reliable and unlimited internet.
Installation was fast, technician was knowledgeable & from what I've experienced, it's the fastest internet service I've ever had.

Switched over from Teksavvy. The process was extremely painless and they even let me use the same modem that I had with Teksavvy so I didn't have to rent or buy a new one. The speed seems more consistent so far so I am very happy with the switch. Thanks to Sajjad and his team for the quick turnaround and great customer service!

Haven t had a problem with them for a few months and then a few days ago our internet stopped completely. Called and told them, they said that a technician would be out in three days between 8-10. Technician did not arrive. Nobody on the phone seemed to care that this was happening or that we have been living without internet for the past three days... and it s a pandemic so we all work from home and internet is essential. They promised local and friendly customer service but we didn t receive either.

Terrible customer service, I mean the worst. Supervisor rings and is super aggressive immediately. I had issues with the speeds we were getting and no one was replying to emails nor calling me about it. I said I wanted to cancel at the end of the month and not to bill me again as they wouldn't be getting a red cent more.
Immediately disconnected my service and then finally after a week sends me a snotty email followed by an aggressive call from Carl, a supposed part owner of the company. He then proceeds to blame me for the problems and lies on the phone saying I refused to try a fix the problem.
I would advise everyone to stay clear of these cowboys. Nothing good to come from them. They scam clients into paying for speeds you don't get and get aggressive when you want to cancel. Ridiculous customer service and attitude.

I didn't think one could mess up FIBRE optics but they did. I've been down with internet for over a day now and it has happened many times in the past 5 months I've signed up. I'm cancelling my service tomorrow with them and will investigate how to take this higher up. The Service sucks !to top it off, you can't get tech support the have a recording saying they have issues and go online for a status ...uhhh duhh I DONT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS ! Then it hangs up on you..no option to wait, Nada
I am just going to get to the point. I got their 300 mbps connection for gaming/streaming. I am really happy with their internet speed i have had no issues with that. Their customer service was amazing when i had questions about my bill. I highly recommend Coextro for those who want to save a decent amount of money on their internet bill.
I found out about Coextro through a coworker. I was paying more for an unlimited plan on contract with Rogers at the time. It was easy to switch over without a contract just month to month. I pretty much got to pick my package with this company and an installation was booked in a day. I never had internet interruptions. I did unfortunately move and couldn't take the internet with me. Highly recommended!
My father has fiber internet that's been reliable for 2 years and they've been very responsive getting internet installed at my new condo.
Coextro is honestly all you need. AMAZING PRICE and great service. If you are lucky enough to have Coextro service your building then go for it. The internet is rock-solid and the TV on the new Roku devices is very comparable to the big guys at a fraction of the price. The Roku even made my TV into a Smart TV so I can watch YouTube and Netflix on it as well. Nothing but a positive experience, great download and upload speeds, and unbeatable price.

I would give negative stars if I could. Horrible tv service - only signed up a month ago and have already had a tech out 3 times and they still haven't fixed the problem of the tv freezing constantly - up to a dozen times an hour. Extremely frustrating.
We scheduled an installation quite awhile ago so that we can start working from Monday. However it has not been working for 2 days and every time I call, agents tell me different things. It is costing us money without proper services. I asked for an escalation but the agent is keep on insisting. Nothing can be done through a customer service. I have never had a problem with any other internet provider but Coextro is first to give me so much troble
Timely service and good speed, the only negative was that they didn't inform us once they had set it up remotely, and I had to call in myself.
Hands down, best internet service provider around! I have been with Bell, Rogers and Teksavvy in the past, and none of them come even close to Coextro. Coextro has way better prices, better and faster service: you just can't go wrong with switching to these guys.
I do a lot of online-gaming and video streaming, and Coextro has worked flawlessly for me. No lag/latency, no buffering, extremely fast and consistent download/upload speeds. I am very pleased with their service and recommend it to everyone!

Great customer service, far more competitive pricing than Bell or Rogers. In the 2 years I've had the service it hasn't dropped once, fast speeds, reliable and inexpensive. Speed upgrades are seamless, upgraded from 75 mbps to 250 mbps and it was painless. Best ISP I've ever had. I also like the easy-to-read bill.
Great rates, great reliability, super fast, nice people and support. Everything I want from my ISP. I had a difficult situation where I was moving to a new location but I did not know exactly when I was going to be there and they worked with my schedule and even had the modem delivered to the closest Canada Post location so that I would not miss it. The installation went smoothly and the Rogers tech was able to complete the install without entering my house which I especially liked with these COVID times. I don't typically write reviews but I believed that these guys needed to hear about the good experience I had.
I am a new Coextro subscriber (last mile is via Rogers Cable). The speed/$ is very competitive, the speeds are consistent and unlike a competitor I recently left, the line quality is high (i.e. Coextro's network has no latency jitter for competitive gamers). I also like that they have their own fiber network - good to support the guys that are building out infrastructure. Doing a traceroute to google.ca showed only 9 hops compared to the 15 hops (some of which were the infamous Cogent) with my previous ISP.
Since I switched from a RCable TPIA to Coextro, the process was a little rough. Basically, there's a downtime of potentially 2-3 days of no internet to make the switch if you bring your own modem. Luckily I had a spare modem so I didn't experience any downtime but really Coextro should provide a temporary modem so there is no loss of internet (even if it has a $100 refundable deposit or such).
Love this company! Great service and the internet is fast! I use the internet for gaming and need a consistent, fast connection and I have had no issues since switching from Rogers to Coextro.
I decided to make the switch when my old internet was supper slow. I called the bigger companies, who charge very expensive monthly fees and cap the total amount you can use. The switch was very easy and the price is great. I did run into issue during installation but the customer service at coextro was very helpful and it was fixed within 2 days. The internet is very fast and reliable. There is no cap and no contract. Happy customer here. Highly recommend it.

Customer service is great, internet is fantastic and comes with local tv (though it's run through a streaming app). I tend to stream a lot and play games online so I need a good internet, and so far have no problems.
I don't write reviews but had to in this instance. I was skeptical at first with their offerings since they appear to good to be true. Not only are the packages insanely cost effective and highly competitive within the media space, their month-to-month plans coupled with their quality customer service makes it really hard to look elsewhere. Internet speed is always reliable and techs know what they're talking about when you call them. If you're in Liberty Village you would be hard pressed to find a better company than Coextro.

I'm so happy there are options here in this Condo. (185 Bonis ave). All operators have drop outs and Coextro's are almost non existent....especially when comparing to Rogers. I've been with Coextro for 3-4 years and their service has only gotten better, with Free basic TV and upgrade plan promotions. Their customer support has been great and speeds are legit when I run speedtests. I'm allowed to use my own router and am not forced to rent some combo router/modem. I don't know why anyone would go with Bell or Rogers when there is Coextro service. A+. seriously...keep doing your thing!
All I can say is wow,!!!! Signed up in July . Then now just discovered that they now have a 12 month promotion and a price drop. Phoned customer service and they gave the 12 month intro price and the price drop. Amazing and they sounded happy to do this for me.Not only that but their internet service is awesome. I constantly get above the speeds that I am paying for. Thank you Coextro . What a breath of fresh air . Jim
After being bullied by big name service providers for far too long, Coextro is a refreshing, delightful change that is affordable, excellent quality and customer service like no other thus far. The cost of the internet plan, hardware, installation and labour in total is STILL less expensive than a basic plan that does not offer unlimited in other companies. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Coextro internet is unstable. Multiple phone calls with customer service. My business VPN keeps on dropping and losing my work due to their unstable connection. I don't recommend them at all for buildings, not sure about their quality for homes though.
New subscriber. Saving much as getting the same fast internet at so much less of what I paid for with my previous provider. Everyone I've talked to has been friendly, polite, willing to help and go the extra mile. Thank you esp. to Sajjab, Alan and Christian for the wonderful service.

My boyfriend had been using the service for at least a year (until just recently), and we had NOTHING but problems. Our Netflix ALWAYS buffered and we experienced all sorts of disconnections. He purchased the modem from them and it's awful. We called numerous times and we were never able to get the problem solved. Honestly, I can't even say how much time we've wasted trying to solve the internet issues we've experienced, it's been a lonnnng year. Their support staff seemed nice enough but the issues were never resolved. I see some comments about the weather affecting the service, I don't remember that happening to us, but it would make sense!!!!

When I move downtown Toronto few years ago I signed up with Coextro. I used the service for over two years without any problem or I never had to call CS. I got fished in by Bell to switch over my service recently. Withing a month I had to call Bell CS several Times. I decided to go back with COEXTRO. Cristina was very helpful and great with responding to any question I had. Coextro might be a small company. But the service and price are far superior then BELL or ROBERS I mean Rogers.
I have to say Coextro has the best customer service and pricing Great Internet service up here in the Innisfil/Barrie area too.

It is my third month with coextro. I'm satisfied with customer care and technical support. Tech support follow up , when my internet was down last time for two days. I appreciate it. My internet is still cutting couple of times each day, but it is short time. There is problem in the outside area line. Please try to fix that too. From customer service side Cindi is the best. It is hard to reach manager. I requested couple of times, no one want to give her line.
