Where do I begin, I guess we should start from the positive aspect of this internet provider. Now, The cost of 250 mbits up and 250 mbits down for 56.00 CAD dollars including tax is pretty darn good. Having said that I'm now 4-5 month into the service, started experiencing extreme slow downs where my speed is 20 mbits up and 20 mbits down. I spent 3-4 hours on the phone with their customer support tech (who was very nice and stayed on the phone through the entire process while we trouble shoot the problem). Unfortunately, this did not resolve in solving the problem. The following day i was informed that the router is most likely faulty at which point I decide not to wait for the delivery of the new router and drove to coextro to pick it up. Long story short, this did not solve the problem. Technician was going to come over to fix the issue, but it was later on discovered that the whole condo is in effect with this internet issue. Now its day 6 of the problem and I'm being told every 2-3 day that it will be resolved within the next 2-3 days. By the way they have offered to only charge me 25 CAD for this month (issue is not yet resolved)!!
No issues whatsoever; any downtime is corrected in record time without my intervention; and customer service is on point. It's nice to deal with a company that actually cares about its customers! Thanks Coextro team!

Just had this installed and , so far, we are having successful wireless transmission. Happy to be on board. Customer service was excellent when I called for advice on setup.
I would recommend this service over BIG BLUE. Faster, Reliable, Fair cost.
If you want TV and Internet .all fine! Just realize that its Streaming through a Roku box is at 720 best, and depending on the channel , it's in 2.0 audio......works good.
But if you want a phone...BEWARE.....The phone works on Wi-Fi, and after several attempts and returns and swap outs of new hardware (same models) .still didn't work...Do your homework, and review the models online... ..junk!
I had to leave because of the phone issues and missed work phone calls. But after more then a dozen attempts to transfer my phone number to my new provider (2 months) and being told by Coextro it should work this time.....It came to my attention hat Coextro had illegally took ownership of my phone number and that was the reason of the failed attempts. Even though I was dealing with who I found out was later, was the founder of the company Sanjay Khandor, they couldn't figure out the problem. They just kept giving me false information to provide to my new provider, to no avail. It was only after threatening legal proceedings with the CRTC, BBB, my MPP, and MPP that it was successfully ported, and the number was put back into my rightful name.
So Be Careful People... .Very Shady !!! Very Sketchy !!!

Not much to share since they couldn't even get the service up and running. 2 weeks of reassurance that it's not their problem, 3 Rogers Technicians (who actually comes out unlike them) and 2 modems later, they say "we can't figure it out just return the modems". They don't care about their clients and can't even call you back as promised since I had to follow up every single time. Not worth your time and effort trust me
Their customer service is good, but the internet itself has been shaky, possibly because of Cogeco. In 2020 there were 2 sustained (for about 6 hours) internet outages, and there are consistently issues with patchy speed that lasts 10-15 minutes. Also don t buy the router that they try to get you to buy, because it s overpriced horsecrap. Buy a decent modem and then use google nest or something equivalent.
Their service is excellent, the connection fast, reliable and good value. Nothing goes wrong and so we rarely think about them... but they deserve a good review... so here it is!
Terrible customer service. I was moving to my new place and I have notified them a week early (August 16th) before my move and they confirmed me that they would set it up by August 24th so I didn't make any other arrangements. so far I still do not have the internet set up and all of sudden, now they pushed the installation to September 4th when trying to reach customer service the replies i am getting is frustrating.
It has already been 5 days for me without internet and now i am being told i have to wait 10 more days for installation. i work remotely and i need internet for my work. Now I have to travel around 80 kms each day till i get my internet because of these guys.

The owner of this company is very rude and likes to yell at his customers over the phone. Had several issues with my internet it was more down than it was up. The service was okay the first few months. While speaking to the owner of the company he yelled at me on two occasions also calling me a "liar" and that I'm "nuts". Will never do business with them again...Please read below.
Number 1: I never spoken to you in any way you as the owner of the company said i am lying and that i am nuts. The second occasion had nothing to do with me and you were yelling at me as the owner of the company you shouldn't be yelling at customers or calling them names. I did not once call yelled at you or called you names until you started being disrespectful. I had several issues because you were going to show up 4 days later and your installer installed my internet in the front closet. Second issue was our fault but you decided to yell at me when i wasn't the one who even called. My services are cancelled because i am not going to be paying a bill every month and my internet is down every other week also I won't tolerate getting yelled at by the "owne" have a nice day!
Internet service is very good. Speed is as described on website. Installation service is great too.
Absolutely abhorrent service. This place was a rude awakening for me that choosing the smaller company over the giant companies makes no difference at all, and does not ensure a more sincere and proper customer service.
I chose Coextro despite them not offering as fast of internet as the major companies, because they appeared to have fair prices and were local. I generally support smaller business, and can accept modest products in exchange for good and consistent service.
When I spoke to Coextro they scheduled me a day two weeks from the initial phone call, and I made it clear to them that I work on call 24/7, 365 days a year, so guaranteeing time off is nearly impossible for me but i will do everything i can to be available. Having said that, I returned from work the morning of the installation at approximately 7am. I had been up all night working, however waited patiently for the technician to arrive. At approximately noon, Coextro phoned. Anticipating that it was in relation to the internet installation, I answered, only to be contacted by a lady asking me if I had been interested in their service...
I responded telling her yes, I have been waiting up all day for the technician to arrive as they had informed he would previously. Her response to me was utter confusion, and she eventually asked if I received the modem. No, I responded. She then tells me that the modem never was sent, and that the technician had never been scheduled.
Obviously I was very disappointed as I required internet as soon as possible, having gone over the data on my cellular phone in the meantime and having no means of accessing the web.
I felt that was a massive mistake on their end to totally fail their assuredness of their service completely. No technician. No modem.
I told the lady that I would like to contact other providers to see who can now offer me service the quickest as that has become the most important desire at this point. She assures me that she is going to send the modem in express post and schedule the technician for xxxx/xx/xx day (approximately another two weeks later) and it will be done immediately. I tell her again I would like to contact other providers but she is insistent and essentially ignoring any growing concerns I now have, and as mentioned running on little sleep, I reluctantly accepted this.
Frustrated, I went to bed. The next day while the businesses were open I phoned Bell who tells me they can be there friday of that week. Much sooner than Coextro.
So, I returned a call to Coextro to tell them I am no longer interested in their services. To which the respond, in a VERY ignorant way that it's very unlikely Bell can be there sooner as "school is starting up"...
I tell the man on the phone, that I would still like to cancel their services at this point, and that Bell has promised Friday they will show up. After some back and forth, he finally says that he will cancel the service, and that when I mail the modem back they will refund me for the costs I have already paid when I made the INITIAL call weeks ago that they failed to follow through on.
Low and behold, Bell arrives Friday early morning, and a very polite servicemen installs the fibre optics and leaves just as they said they would, no issues.
So I go to Canada post a few days later and attempt to mail the modem back, however it cost me almost $20. So I phone Coextro and explain the whole situation. They refuse to pay the shipping costs because according to them, it was my mistake for reluctantly allowing the pushy girl to send the modem when she phoned the day I was supposed to already have it, and it be installed.
Rather than listen to anything I had to say, they just kept repeating dates they sent the modem, and the date I cancelled the service. But a proper root-cause analysis would clearly identify the problem lies on their end, not mine. They wouldn't let me talk to the manager, but said the manager would call back. Who called back? the same girl, not the manager.
I am disgusted with this company, and will never deal with them again.
Excellent customer service. They treat their customers fairly regardless if you are new or existing without the need to beg for a better deal on services. Their prices are reasonable with no contracts. Highly recommend to anyone who is fed up with the big guys.

Been using Coextro for at least 4 years. One word sums them up: Excellent! This applies to all aspects of their Company. When anyone asks me what provider they should use, I always direct them to Coextro. No one has been disappointed. Looking forward to another 4 years with Coextro.
Worst internet service in Mississauga and even worse customer care. Once you decide to cancel your service they become extremally rude to you and talk as if you owe them something. Please don't sign up for this. Me and my friend never got the referral bonus which they promise and now they are asking me to ship the modem at my cost and Patti threatened me that if I don't send the modem they will charge my CC
Need to fix their return process. They claim to have sent an email on how to do so, but the only email I got was to confirm I cancelled. I checked all my mail folders. But let s say that it didn t get to me by no error of them, I contacted them and I received an address to return it to. No details, of when to return it, if I need to put my name or account number on it, just an address and that I ll be refunded when I do return it. This was the 29th at around 5pm. At 3:40AM on the 7th I received an invoice for not returning the device. To me this says on the 6th, exactly a week later, I was declared as not returning the device. Without any contact as to tell me this, and not knowing I had only 7 days.
Upon leaving a previously bad review, I was contacted and told when I return the device the invoice will be null and I ll be refunded. Which is great, but to not tell someone they only have 7 days was already starting off wrong. People get busy, I had to go find a box to package it in and I don t even know where to buy those. Upon finding and packaging said box, I looked into how to get this delivered. To here I admit my own ignorance, I m a student and yes, my mom has always sent my mail, so I had no idea what I was to do. Had I known I had only 7 days I would have likely done it all in one day and got it out. But again I m a student and my time is hectic with 6 classes and I didn t know I only had 7 days, or even that it was 7 days till I checked.
As well, they need to work on customer service. I understand A bad review is not good, but there is no need to continually berate customers for getting a small detail like a date wrong, or for that matter getting details to the story wrong when it s the story that matters above all. It s unfortunate, I had no ill will when I cancelled my account, only that I required faster internet for my zoom lectures. But now I ve been interrogated because I got some dates wrong, to which I ve apologized. When a customer complains you should help, not attempt to insult.
I m sure they treat current customers better, but not really those who choose to leave.
Great price and service. The absolute best part is the support team. My calls were very few and far between, but when I needed them they were responsive, kind and knowledgeable.
I was with TekSavvy for almost a decade due to their CRTC advocacy. However, their prices couldn't compete with Coextro.
Also, the customer service with Coextro over the last year has been phenomenal!
Coming from over priced Bell internet services, Coextro is way better priced for better internet packages. I just received my bill for my 4th month and noticed it was 10$ more than usual. I called there office and within 2 minutes was talking to a person. Apparently i was only on a 3 month promo. They extended the same promo for a full 12 months and corrected my current bill to the old price. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars for their service is they don't currently have an option to pay electronically from my debit card on my bank's website, i have to use my credit card to pay my bills.
I've been with Coextro for a couple years, in that time I've had <20 hrs of downtime, consistent speeds, and they're extremely responsive.
I highly recommend them for simple straight forward reliable internet with zero hidden fees.
Just moved in to a new condo. I had Bell Fibe 1.5 before, but I was looking for something cheaper. After going through all the available companies in Toronto I decided to try Coextro. They've exceeded my expectations with a constant stable connection and faster wireless speeds than with Bell.
their tech support team have no clue what they are doing, they told me that i have 8 devices using internet. when i checked it, it showed my laptop had three different internet connected, and my other laptop had 2 internet contentions.
when i tried to explain to them how is it possible for one laptop to have 3 WiFi connections and other laptop to have 2 connections they would not answer and kept telling me that this is why my internet is slow.
i pay for the 500mbps and i am only getting 279 Mbps. they started telling me that we provide UP TO 500 MBPS BUT when you look online to see what their plans are. on none of the plans does it say you will get up to 500 or 250 or 50 MBPS. all there plans are straight what ever MBPS this is false advertising.. point of this review is the technical support team for this company has no clue what they are doing or saying to customers.

I have heard good things about Coextro, mainly about the prices and speed. I moved into a new Condo and our existing internet was too slow in the new building for working at home. On sept 3rd, I signed up for coextro. I requested preferred dates the following week.My internet cut out during this and it send me two different order numbers. I called right away and explained the error and was told it was no problem, they would cancel one and I would only be charged for one order.
I got an email the next day stating it would get setup on Sept 17. I called on the weekend to see if it could be possible to get an earlier installation due to working from home. The phone rep could not give me an answer then but said somebody would call me on the Tuesday. Perfect, not a problem.
On Tuesday, I was not called.
I followed up and Wednesday. They still could not give me an answer. I asked to be kept in the loop.
I was not called so I followed up on Friday (there phone line disconnected on me and I had to wait on hold again fro 10 min) and asked again. I was told it was not possible for an earlier installation. If I didn't call, I doubt I would have found this out until next week.
My issue is that none of this was communicated to me. If it could not be done earlier, thats fine. Let me know so I can make other arrangements. I should not have to call multiple times to follow up when I was told they would call me on the Tuesday.
To top it off, my card was charged twice, so I had to call in again.
I hope having better internet will make my experience so far, more positive.
It was a bit of a challenge calling in (their system seems to malfunction from time to time) BUT their team is friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and provide you with solutions that work for you, your needs and your budget.
The process was easy, the rates are incredibly affordable and I did not feel like I was up-sold on things that I ultimately do not need, want or are out of my budget. There aren't any contracts and you can amend services (upgrade speed, add tv, remove tv etc) at any point which is such a great selling feature. In the end, we received high speed, unlimited internet service at an outstanding price! Very happy.

I've been Coextro since Feb 2020 and all get excellent tech support beyond 5 stars. Last Friday Dec 18, I called in for my TV problem and first spoke with a very nice lady and she asked to do a few reset and called her back if the problem is still there. The problem continues so I called her back but this time a guy by the name of Allen picked up my call. I told him the entire story and the problem again, but without hesitation he said that he cannot help me without seeing what is on the screen. I told him again I stuck with one word "loading" on the screen. His reply was - doesn't matter, I have to see the picture of the screen. I took the picture and emailed to him and got a reply that Coextro received my email. I waited ten minute and called him back. He told me that he had not received any email yet and therefore cannot do anything. When I told him that I received a confirmation from Coextro and caught him lying and I got really upset and he hanged up on me. I filed a complaint with Marisa and had not heard back from her. If you ever have to call in for tech support and talk with someone call Allen - hang up and try again for another tech support agent. They are all good except this ignorant guy.

Haven t had any connection for the last week. Took the day off work as they were supposed to come and fix it in the morning, but no one showed up...
I switched to Coextro about 2 weeks ago. So far, I have no complaints at all.The internet speed is close to what they advertised. Good value.
I ordered internet last week and the installation appointment was scheduled for today.
There was no word from anyone about installation and now it's well past the scheduled time window.
I have already been charged for the modem and delivery fees and now there is no response from them.
Hopefully I can get my money back somehow.
Edit: the owner immediately called back to explain they are a legitimate business, out of good faith I will wait to see if the refunds come back.
Edit(2): Great to see that the management is finally taking time to respond after a bad review when before this I called twice and got to "office closed" and sent two emails with no response. Clearly, their office is open and they could have responded.
Edit(3): It is clear that the practices of this company is questionable based on the comments made by the "management" team. As a consumer I refuse to expose my full name (a shortened name is different from "fake" name) as I now fear identity theft.

Edit(4): It seems the owner does not want to stop the harassment. Revealing customer identity obtained through a business transaction is not acceptable. Do your due diligence before considering signing up for their "good" deals. It seems I'm not the only one and judging from many of the previous reviews it is evident the owner of this company has a habit of looking up customer profiles to try to get them to change the bad reviews he gets.
Im a new subscriber, their internet is ok (I do not get the speeds advertised... but close) The internet does go offline occasionally then corrects itself.....the Skinny TV service which is complimentary with the service is absolute sh*t. I got through to support once and sis the dance of powering off, unplugging. to no avail. A few of the stations I cannot get, the wheel just spins and spins until it is timed out. When I got through support I was told it depends on the tower that receives the signal and the weather...... so if its cloudy or windy or too hot or cold...a bird flies by......forget about it....
Great! so far so great ! Ordered 120/10, am getting 125/10.5 although the router does not completely cover every place of the house my house is really big so that would make sense. Really loved it. Will suggest to friends. People just be hating, unbelievable prices
Let me start off by saying that I don't leave reviews. With that being said, this company is great. After my initial internet installation, I didn't have an internet connection for 4 days. I called multiple times and spoke to two different individuals who both answered my questions and were polite and patient through it all. Even though I solved my own issue (the technician did not plug the modem into a line with a proper signal), I was made to feel that the company would do whatever they could to ensure my issue was solved.
The only negative thing I might say is that every time I talked to one individual, they advised me they would call me with updates but I never actually received any calls. I had to keep calling in and asking for an update but, at the end of the day, I got what I needed.
If you're lucky enough to have this service in your condo signup. If not, talk to your Board and insest they look into having the service installed, you won't be sorry.

Reasonable pricing & good service responsive to my needs
I never write reviews (lol this is my first one) but Coextro is worth the effort. I switched to Coextro 6 months ago. They had a better rate and better product. I was more than pleasantly surprised that since I've switched I have never had an issue with my internet speed or service. Any time I've called them, they have provided EXCELLENT customer service - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Can't say enough about them. If you are hesitating about switching, don't. They are awesome.

The customer service is second to none . I gave up my Cogeco internet about a month ago & I am completely pleased . My internet works just like it always did but at about 25% cheaper & no contract . Give Coextro a try you won't regret it .

Reliable, cheap, high speed internet and good customer service in particular solved problems and have a pretty good communication with their costumers which I really like! They don t care if you stay or leave. They literally don t care at all. Not worth the hassle, take your money to a provider that actually provides a service .

Absolutely worst experience with this internet company! Do not recommend to anyone at all!!!! Our internet mysteriously turned off and we went without internet for 4 days, called several times to the tech support and got absolutely nowhere. They said Cocego had recently installed a new panel and kicked off some coextro customers and that Cocego was aware and working to resolve this problem. I find it hard to believe that it would take 4 days for such a problem to be resolved. Absolutely horrible experience and service. Have cancelled our services and would not recommend to go with this company!!
I was inquiring about the different Internet packages and that my speed was not fast enough. I spoke with CSR agent CINDY, who was very helpful and professional, about these issues and she recommended that I speak with a Tech Support. I spoke with the Tech Support in the afternoon, and it was too risky to do anything, since both, my wife was working and my daughter was doing school work, and they were both using the internet.
I called after supper around 6:45pm, and dealt Tech Support, after 1.5 hours, of trying to connect, it was recommended that my Modem was defective that I needed a new Modem. I was ready to drive to your office to buy a new Modem, but was told the office is closed!
I called back on Friday afternoon around 12:15, and spoke with Tech Support agent ALLEN, and mentioned to him the events of Thursday.
ALLEN patiently and professionally walked me through settings and the WI-FI was up and going in 10-15 minutes and my Modem was not replaced.

Signed up because of the price point and stayed because of the service! Speeds are as advertised (see pic for my 75 connection) even at peak times. Have already referred 2 of my friends.
I just moved out of the city so I'm no longer subscribed but my experience was poor. It started off well enough, but then about 3 months in, my internet starting cutting off frequently -- and it wasn't my hardware. When it rained or the weather was severe my internet would cut off completely, which led me to believe that Coextro provides their service with the help of wireless radios (not good). I haven't confirmed this but my neighbour experienced the exact same issue (but was smart enough to cancel early). Really disappointed -- figured this would be a good alternative to the big guys, but it seems like the only reason they can offer service so cheap is because of the way they provide it. I reached out to tech support a few times and didn't get a definitive answer about anything. The representatives insisted the issue was temporary or on my end. Hope they improve! For the time being, I would stay away from Coextro.

I was on vacation for the last couple of weeks. I returned home to find the internet was down. I called the tech support line after hours. The response time is supposedly 2 hours but it's been 6 hours since my call and still no resolution. Please assist.

The service/price comparison is good but this is assuming you're in a scenario where everything is working fine.
Their technical support, however, is abysmal. They have no issues with taking a week to reply to an online ticket you open with them. If you call in to technical support, you're most likely going to be directed to voicemail and not receive a call-back. If you're lucky, you'll get an email about the voicemail you left. If the email is relevant to the technical issue you're even luckier, because their tech support is apparently not trained in networking/internet.
Also, they have no problem closing online requests that haven't been solved, and not notifying you that it's been closed. This also forces you to open a new request with them, to be ignored for a long time.
One of their techs promised me a credit for a time period where service was affected, and then no credit was actually applied, and my requests about it are ignored.
COEXTRO, as a small company, is going to have to either hire more people to take more calls and handle more requests or at least hire some capable people to address technical issues in a manner that is at least relevant to the issue, and not close the request without being solved.
We love our Coextro service! Good price for good internet and even better people. No BS and their staff are knowledgeable so you don't get anyone who gives you a run of the mill answer.

Very unreliable! Do not choose their services! I m in Mississauga square one condo area and their internet down almost ones a week since 2020. Worst part is their response is very slow. Expect all day no internet if you want to try with them. The router from them is poor quality as well. It broken just pass it s warranty. We had to bought another one for $120. Not going to use their internet after this year. Very disappointed!
Your service is in one word "exceptional". The only other word that coms to mind is flawless. Way better than the large providers with no interruptions and down-time. Don't think about it... if they offer you service, JUMP on it!!
I have had Coextro service for a couple of months now, and I couldn't be happier. I consistently get the speeds I pay for, and have never had an issue with the reliability of the network. The price is extremely reasonable and I highly recommend their service. My experience with support has always been great and they helped me get setup and ensure that everything would work as it should. If you are in Toronto or the GTA I highly recommend them. I haven't tested outside of that but I am sure it would be fantastic.
I am so glad I found Coextro. I was paying $100/m. for internet and was able to reduce my costs to less than half for unlimited use and discovered it is faster too. Installation was exactly as promised and support service getting up and running was excellent.
This is THE best internet service in Toronto Downtown Period. Ultra Fast constant speed, Unlimited Ups and Downs. How rare is it that your download is as fast as your upload speed? This is very comparable to Google Fiber, I am extremely pleased and rave to all of my friends about it. I cannot live anywhere without it. Yes this is a love letter.

Wrong. They have less resources than other well established third parties. Their customer representatives are borderline useless.
I've had sooo many issues with Coextro since I switched I stopped counting. Granted, a lot of them are probably related to
incumbent networks. But still, they're accountable, right? My modem continuously loses sync (and I bought it from them). When
I call I get the run around. One night, I couldn't bear it, I called and it was after hours. No response. Email. No response. IS THIS FOR REAL?
I wanted to like them. There are a lot of negative reviews here and I ignored them. I shouldn't have. They were right.
If they can improve I will try them again in the future. As of yesterday, I've switched to a more reputable company. Prospective buyer: you probably should look elsewhere.
Fabulous customer service and Great Deals on Services. I have Internet, TV and Phone. Great savings. I have recommended to friends, family and relatives.
I heard of this service when it was featured on CBC about the needless inertia Canadians have about changing ISPs. As such, I took a closer look at this business and finally got away from Rogers for them after a long search for alternatives. I have not regretted it since.
Coextro offered an excellent value for money compared to competitors like Start.ca and their needlessly expensive upfront costs to start. As it is, I enjoy a 75 mbps speed for cheaper than anywhere else. The trial period of their TV service is even better, although being outside of the GTA, I couldn't keep it.
I switched from Bell. Better service for less cost. Thank you. My install was as promised. Professional and well qualified. I decided to go with Coextro because of all the bad reviews. The manger responded to almost all the bad reviews with his account of affairs. This showed to me the commitment to customer service. Good job! See if you find that at Bell or Rogers when you have a problem. Also a point to remember, they all will have problems what sorts the good from the bad is how they deal with them when they arise.
I've only been a customer for a month but so far everything has been very good. Their customer service department was very helpful and throughout the sign up and installation process.
Found them when looking for a new provider as my old provider Teksavvy decided to introduce traffic shaping. After complaining they decided to remove it, but it was too late. I moved to Coextro and not turning back. It's just less that a week but I like the service. The speed is what I paid for. Cable 150dn/15up for $60 after the promo is over. I think that they are reasonably priced. Coextro is located in our neighborhood so it's also supporting local business. Please be reminded that coextro is not paying me to say this.

Started off pretty good. But frequent disconnection and slow down. ZERO tech support that tells you its your routes problem and unless you plug your computer with LAN cable into the wall, they dot guarantee the speed.
Got it approximately a week ago. So far everything as promised, speed, performance , etc...I would definitely recommend it to everyone where Fibre is available .
Coextro is far more reliable, fast, and affordable than Bell.

Been with Coextro for a week or two now, so far so good. Getting very close to advertised speeds (300) even over wifi in the home. Highly recommend you go with this company and buy yourself a good router. Only way it could be better is if Upload speeds were not capped at 20. But no complaints! Great work.
the worst customer service. If they cant solve your problem theyll hang up on you. Moving to Teksavvy.
