Hotel is not as shown in posts and pictures. - is definitely a no tell motel beyond out of date. Dirty, smelled like mold and refuses to give money back on cancellations when you try to cancel. Would never sleep there. Staff was also not friendly or nice.
I booked a early flight into Orlando, Florida with the Intention of doing early sightseeing . We landed at 10 a.m. My two young adults wanted to go the resort first. I knew check-in was slotted for 4p.m. Guess what , my early check-in wasn't a problem, during a week day! I was caught off guard with additional resort fee. Thankful I'm always prepared! Waterpark was Great! No lines! February 29- March3, 2016.
Our room stank of mold and mildew. They offered to change our room but the next one was just as bad and the AC didn't work. We chose to just stay in our first room. Since the rooms were non refundable I had no choice but to stay. I went out and bought a cleaning supplies to kill mold and the smell as best I could. My 2 year old loves the little kid part of the resort but most of the water features are broken and gross. The water is so chlorinated it burns my sinuses. The only reason my review was a 2 and not a 1 is because the people were really nice and tried to help at least a little.

Great water park for kids. Safe, clean,and lots of family fun.
We visited this hotel at the start of April 2019, the hotel was clean and our rooms were cleaned daily. One pool in the hotel was not clean and the water was murky so we avoided it however the water park was a better standard and cleaner. They seem to be in the process of updating the look of the hotel paining it white and updating the waterpark area so part of this was closed. We was not advised of this by anyone.
The buffet breakfast was pricey so we didn't even consider going to it, being on idrive there are so many restaurants to choose from.
We asked for a cot for the room 3 times and a week later we finally got one.
The fire alarm went off one night and was extremely loud, this happened 3 times in the night with no explanation from the hotel staff at all.
The safe didn't work
The fridge was intermittent
Our toilet broke twice!
And the hot water went off for a day!
All in all it wasn't the best hotel but was really only a place to sleep, when the alarm wasn't going off.
Would i recommend it, yes for the price but no for all the problems. It didn't ruin our holiday but we will certainly think twice before booking again.
Staff seemed friendly enough but they dont answer the phone when you call from the room so you have to go to the reception for anything.
Hotel smelled like mildew. Carpets were filthy, water park was ok. Reminded me of a motel.
A little sketch place had bugs was overcharged no security in parking lot (issues there) overall terrible experience they never rectified the problem cost me a lot of hours on the phone
I purchased this rm on groupon never again,the sleeper couch had visible body fluids all on the cushions very disgusting,we got in late n some rms didnt have air conditioning, who ever books n stays in rm 2215 mk sure they threw that sleeper away bc I made a complaint. No elevators n we had 5 pieces of luggage we had to carry up to that disgusting rm tub was dirty n towels were very thin n dingy looking, very disappointed n I will never recommend this resort to anyone yes the pool was nice but got there when the waterpark was closed.
The place is a great place to stay but is in much need of repairs our toilet leaked all over the floor the bathroom light switch was broke so the light stayed on the whole time our ac kept turning off when the room was warm still
Great for little kids, parents and older kids not so much. Claimed wifi there was none. Food is ok nothing spectacular. No free breakfast. Room was nice, bathroom was small, limited tv channels. Better off getting a normal hotel and go to a water park.

DISGUSTING! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN- and I have been telling everyone who asks how our stay was how terrible it was..
We are locals and got a groupon deal, so we figured we would try a non disney/universal resort out. Come to find out there is fine print on the groupon that they charge an extra $45 for taxes and resort fees when you get there (my fault for not reading it) you're not getting a deal on groupon...The middle pool had this gross filmy bubbles pooling up by the filters on the side of the pool as soon as I got in we got out when we saw that- They are certainly over chemically treating their pools. the slides you see from i4 were the nicest part of that whole place.
The outdoor area and bar were not very clean, it just felt unkempt.
The room was nice at first glance as they had done some remodeling- but thats where it ended... the bathroom door was falling apart- you would think they could replace that. and then we woke up to roaches on the wall and behind the tv.. it was disgusting.. the front desk people were no help as they didn't offer anything BUT telling me that they'll tell maintenance.. We won't be back. I have also left reviews on trip advisor and yelp... This place is gross.
Drove an hour for them to tell us they don t do day passes on saturdays. We came to spend time with family who had a room but they said since we don t have a room we couldn t spend the day. Waste of time and it s not even worth it to begin with, kids were upset and had been looking forward to it all day. If I could give 0 stars I would.
My family had a great time and experience, the pools are cold so make sure you go in a hot day! Breakfast is good as well, don t miss it!
Don't even THINK about going here it's horrible!! There are tiny bugs in the rooms, the carpet in the hall smells old and musty, same as the carpet in the rooms!! It's an embarrassment!! The only good things was the kinda and helpful staff to be honest.

While trying to check in at 10:30am I was told it was too early which I understood but as I was waiting to finish the gentleman next to me checked in 2 rooms for a family that was behind me in line and they got keys. I then questioned the young lady so another guy came over and told me yes there was a room so I had to complain to get into one. Once we got in the room I needed ice to put in my room and ofcourse the ice maker in my hall was out so I had to walk to the next one which was out also finally found one in the building across from me. I tried these ice makers everyday and they continued not to work. Later that evening I folded out the couch to find no blankets on it not even a sheet so in the closet they had one sheet and one pillow no blankets so I called down and a lady answered and said they don t have comforters they have blankets very rudely and I said well I need a blanket and another sheet she told someone in the background my room number and disconnected the phone. 30 minutes went by and nobody came I had to then walk to the front desk to get what I needed. The next day was a Monday we went to the main pool and waited for the bar to open it never did so we went to the water park and went to their bar at 11:15am which says it opens at 11am on the sign when entering the water park but ofcourse nobody was there. I continued to wait and 11:45 still nobody there I was then very upset it was ruining my vacation. I found a guy in the water park he said they should be open he s not sure why they aren t so with that said someone showed up at noon to open the bar she wasn t friendly and very overwhelmed now since people were waiting. To top things off I had placed milk in the mini fridge our room had but to find out it had been turned down and wasn t even chilled it ruined my milk. Also the pillow I was going to have to use had a bad odor it was very unpleasant. Now that we ve checked out and are home that very night my child had developed a red blotchy rash on her face and I m hoping it s not from the bed sheets. You might want to second guess your family vacation at this destination.
I am going to give my stay 3 stars. Although this place is great for you to take the kids to. I think as much money as they are making from people staying in their that the rooms and such need to be fixed up/renovated. Our rooms were clean but the furniture was falling apart and it kinda smelled funky. Don't get me wrong. This is a great family vacation spot. I just think things need to be updated.

This is old and dirty place. Looks no renovation since built. They charge so many extra fees ($223) over my hotel charge such as resort fee, parking fee, clean the world fee(?), and so on. Breakfast is available, about $13 for adult and $5 for kid. The quality of the food is worst hotel breakfast and a few kind of food. Waterpark may be 80's and strong oxi smell in water. Unluckily, I catch one of cockroaches in my room.
The hotel is very old, it was initially the 1st Hilton ever built, but it's been remodeled. It's still motel style though. The water park rides are pretty lame for adults, but kids seem to enjoy it. The front desk gave us the wrong room type 3 different times & the keys didn't work 4 different times, resulting in lots of parking, moving & trips back to the front desk (where we were in line behind other people whose keys weren't working). I will say the staff was very friendly & attentive though. The pavement in the water park is EXTREMELY HOT, SO BRING WATER SHOES! THIS IS NO EXAGGERATION!!!

Rooms are nice. The check in lady was a bit abrupt. And there is some mold in the shower, rest of the room is clean and smelled good.
The room did have a musty smell to it but we always bring a scented disinfecting spray when we travel. The wifi is a joke, very bad connection! Walls are very thin and could hear everything around us but we did bring a white noise machine and it drowned out most noises. The beds were a bit stiff for me and there was no actual blanket, just 2 sheets and a very thin sheer piece that looked like burlap(refer to picture.) We woke up to very small bugs on the side table. They were all over our phones, the alarm clock, our chargers, etc. As soon as I turned on the light and grabbed my phone, they scattered and went underneath table. The TV we had in our room was very low quality. Screen color was very faded and couldn't adjust the brightness. Channels were limited and blurry. We went through a travel site and did not know about the $32 per night resort fee until after we booked it. When we got there, we were also told that there is a $10 parking fee per night and a $50 deposit fee as well.
On the plus side, the gentlemen who checked us in (wish i remembered his name) was very nice and professional! He was very detailed in his speech and made us feel welcomed. We didn't go in the pool but it was very clean. Also the asian lady working the gift shop was very nice to us. I also realized that they have security patrolling by the rooms and parking lot and I did appreciate the extra safety precautions.
For this hotel, you don't pay for the room, you pay for being conveniently located right by universal studios and surrounding attractions.
1st let me say to anyone who has ever had a bad experience please go back ozzy greeted me with a ear to ear smile #1 respect to my hubby and kids a wonderful sence of humor just a great human being well while checking inn we received champagne and oranges while my kids were eating cookies and drinking water with sliced limes and lemons in the containers and they had fruit punch.the kids also were bz looking at a small arcade when i was checking in also. Well the resort is also remodeling with all new rooms which ozzy did give us one of those took but when we went into the room it wasnt cleaned yet but no. But no worries ozzy was there to the rescue and put us into a lovely remodeled room again thanks ozzy plus the only thing that wasn't good was next to check in ther is a time share table to sign up for a tour in 90 mins well joshua told my kids while me and my hubby go on the tour my kids could play XBOX PLAYStation and on the park so on well we get to the tour and nothing was there for kids so unhappy about the tour but verry happy about my stay the coco key resort and water park
Horrible service, had bugs, bathroom was dirty, sheets were stained and they would not refund us for all the nights. Who wants this much trouble on their vacation ??

We chose this hotel for the Waterpark and the kids really enjoyed it, but the rooms were not very clean. They are reconditioning the rooms, but even the new ones were not clean. The floors had not been mopped in a long time, so we always had to wear our shoes or our feet became black from the dirt. The towels that were provided at the Waterpark to dry off were a little bigger than a hand towel, which was not big enough to do the job. The staff was nice though.
Everything has been great, the staff, the water resort & pool, the amenities, the rooms. Total price is a little high but worth it in my opinion when there's so much at the resort and literally within walking distance!
Friendly staff but checking took forever especially after plane and bus ride to hotel. Fun slides and bus connections to all major nearby attractions!

Room out dated and very thin walls toilet didn't want to work. To expensive for 2 nights it cost $94 on top of what the hotel costed for 2 nights which was around $200. And if it's just adults going don't stay there more of a kids friendly hotel.
Pretty good overall. It's a cheap alternative and good for younger kids. The rooms are pretty basic but decent. We will probably return. My daughters loved it and it was in a good location on International Drive next to good restaurants. Not a swanky place at all but good for a cheaper alternative with access to the water park area. Definitely a plus part of the hotel.

Nice rooms and awesome fun entertainment with water park, drinks etc. . the obly probably our bathroom ligjt didnt work and we called all day and all night and nothinhg was done.
My son and I suffered severe bed bug bites in March 2015. Worst experience of my life. Son had over 100 bites, I suffered 300 bites predominantly on my arms, hands and back. The bed bugs were inside the pillow cases, and all in the beds. We finally settled for way less than our lawyer requested, but I'm just glad it's over. I pray that no one experiences this awful situation, because it has long term effects.
Room was nice but we were only passing through and used the room to sleep and shower. Wish there was an option to not pay the resort fee if you're not going to use it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I had to switch rooms 2 different times. I checked in and 1st room I found a COCKROACH on the wall. 2nd room had NO HOT water. 3rd room found another type of bug, the television did not work and I did not have a microwave and huge pee stain on an unprotected mattress. Where I complained yet again but they would not move me a 3rd time. I was informed they could bring me a microwave for 10 dollars a night. But yet 1st room had one left in there. Water park was shut down first day we checked in due to the weather. 2nd day the hot tub did not work. (They did repair it fast tho) and resort fee of 32 (plus tax) DOES NOT even cover free wifi. Wifi is free your first 24 hours only. And the walls are paper thin. Had a courtyard room on 2nd floor facing the pool and hot tub and u can hear the entire conversations of people in the pool all the way till 10pm. They do not even offer you a free cup of morning coffee. That is 2 dollars a cup at their overpriced breakfast buffet (which should be continental) if I could rate 0 i would. Disgusting. Moldy, nasty, bug infested rooms.
Just got here, was tired after flying all day. Place seemed noisey and busy which we didn't need.

Well the room was a lil junky .no hot water and no cover on a/c unit .they didnt even clean the bathroom before they rented it to us ! Had to ask for towels and carpet smelled like mildew .the water park was great !

Wonderful beds. Has a bathtub that I like. If something is broken, it is made quickly. Super price. Very nice for small children.
The first room we got smelled of mold and the bathroom smelled like urine. The a.c. did not blow cold air. The front counter was understanding and put us in a new room. The new room was also musty, but not as bad as the first. The a.c. worked, but there was a awful smell coming from it. Smelled like they cleaned the bathroom with dirty rags. Thank goodness there was a Walgreens across the street. We went and bought air sanitizer and Clorox wipes.
Outside of the 4pm clock in and 7pm waterpark closure the resort was fun for all.
The water park is pretty awesome and enjoyable. The rooms are nice and spacious. The arcade is okay for being apart of a hotel but you can tell their old because some of the sounds on the games dont work and some other stuff. The management and staff were nice and watched the water area with good detail. The only thing that sort of upset me was having to purchase another wrist band just for me to go into the water park area to watch my kids when i wasent even getting in the water. Another thing that blows was the room did not come with a microwave just because we weren't on the pool side; and to get one you have to pay $10 a day to rent one. Lastly dont book your room through a third party booker or on anything online. I would call the hotel its self and book over the phone. The online people tell you to hold a room they need a $100 deposit. And its nonrefundable nor does it go towards your room fee like you would think. We were ripped off a lost a $100 and there was "nothing they could do about it" .
Honest feedback from a family with two young children.
Started off with the resort loosing our reservation from months prior. Thank goodness my wife brought her computer and showed the confirmation or we would had to pay double the rate we booked. Front desk lady was apologetic but took over 30 mins of confusion.
Rooms are damp, stinky and Ac was sub par. Honestly didn t let my kids play legos on the floor because it was filthy. We could hear our neighbors talking and we found water damage on the furniture which probably meant mold.
We originally booked motel because of the water park like every other person on this google review. However the park is ok. It was overly packed with kids of all sizes. Limited lifeguards and very chaotic slide area under the pavilion. Some parents didn t even monitor their children and one girl almost drowned thank god for the lifeguard. My children are smaller and we felt very uncomfortable with them swimming in the chaos.
Our room was right outside the main hotel pool which has no lifeguard. Kids just swimming with no adult supervision nor lifeguard. Pool was dirty and visible debris floating.
We spend a lot of time at universal and Chuck E. Cheese to stay out of the room because of the poor amenities.
Not sure why some people have 5/5 reviews guess they had a different experience but if you read all the poor reviews the same underlining issues are apparent. Stinky rooms, poor staff and sub par experience.
Spend your money elsewhere.
grandkids love it. water park was great for all ages. food and drink are overpriced but there are local fast food places close by.

Generally really good. Pools are well kept, loads of very active lifeguards. Rooms are clean but a little old.
rooms were nice. refrigerator didn't work. coffee pot had about 5 days of mold growing in it. brought it to the front desks attention and after 9 hours of being out of the room nothing was addressed. had to go down and tell them again and was taken care of. a little toolate as i was leaving
Ice machines were always out of ice. not sure if it was from use, or did not work. but i tried to get ice at different times during my 3 day stay. halls and outer areas smelled of urine.
drink vending machines were cheaper than going to the hotels store and buying drinks. but drink machines were empty... could be it was cheaper?
Despite the hotels issues i have stated the kids had a great time at the water park
Check-in process is already an indication of why this establishment has garnered its 3-Stars. Lobby is updated but the rest of the area is dingy, dated, and has no appeal what-so ever.
