Hotel was average to say the least. You could tell it's been run hard for years. I knew going in there was going to be resort fees added at check in, but not additional onsite parking fees at $10/ day. Instead of a one time deposit on thr room, my card was hit for $50/day. The website made it sound like the arcade was inclusive, which it wasn't. Approx $20 for about 40 minutes of credit. The water park was the best experience about the weekend vacation we were on. Low lines, courteous staff, and the amount of lifeguards made this enjoyable. The ability to walk to restaurants on international drive was a plus as well. If I had to do a weekend trip again, probably stay at a nicer adjacent hotel for likely half the price, and do 1 day passes to the water park.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I came to Florida and during a rainstorm the day before check in my car was wrecked. I called the booking company at 6pm and they were unable to reach the hotel. Called the hotel the day of booking and waiting 25 minutes on hold and was told no one would speak to me because I booked through a 3d party. Called the 3d party again and they tried the hotel and were told there was nothing they could do. Told me to call the hotel and ask to speak to managmwnt to beg for a refund. I'll just pay the 160.00 and consider it a lesson learned that this facility is garbage. Called the Nickelodeon hotel and they answered on the first ring were nice and when the car is fixed they will get our business.
Room was in need of repairs. Musty smell. Be careful in the arcade, my grandson tripped and busted his head in the glass redemption center. You would have thought in the kids area they would use plexiglass. Not enough facilities for the amount of rooms.
In my point of view, I would NOT recommend it. The customer service is bad. My recommendation is never to buy a package of holidays many days in advance because if you get sick or change your plans you end up with your life. The reception staff is very unfriendly. They charge you separately a fee for the Wifi and it does not work. The water park was closed. Very expensive for the little service.

I would highly recommend to anyone with children! The staff was so amazing to my family. The rooms where well maintained. The food prices where resonable and very good as well as good portions. The water park was clean as well as very well maintained ! We loved it and recommend it !
Worst experience ever , and I don t advise you stay here at all even if you re trying to save money! I paid too much for the disgusting room I got ! I asked to be moved and they were charging me $40 more a night! When I asked to see the room the tub had hair all over I.t ! Very upset and won t be going back ever again! Dusty rooms, VIP clean is a joke! And thank god for the room attendant had to give her a great tip but she did a great job one stays as for cleaning my room! Also when I spoke to the manager about the sofa and she seen I took sheets to cover I.t cause I.t was so nasty she said I would do that too tbh that is so unprofessional!
This hotel will try to keep your security deposit. They will not make a bogus claim of damages. They just never refund the money back into your bank/credit card.
First room they gave us was never cleaned. The next room was decent but never came to clean restroom like requested. Broken soda machines. Will not be returning.
Had a very ok stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the lifeguards are definitely on their job. The water park and pools are great and my kids had fun. A few things I had a problem with is the pictures on the website are totally misleading and the rooms smell strange. Upon entering the room we saw a roach , and the refridgerator was dirty. Through the night you can hear every single bump, roll and stomp the people on the second floor make and if you have a room by the pool you hear everything going on outside. The bathroom floors were dirty as well but you won't see the dirt until you get the floor wet. I would come back so my kids could play for a day, but I wouldn't have us sleep here again.
The lifeguards definitely know their skills. They work hard and keep everyone safe. The managers/supervisors are friendly, and constantly present in case they are needed. There are things to do for kids of all ages. It is also located close to a lot of different attractions.
Not the best. I will not return. The hotel is old. Carpet is coming up, there was a hole in the wall in the hallway. Good value, you get what you pay for!
This was amazing and the price was unbelievably good. I will return everytime i visit florida. Just the right amount of fun for the kids and cost nothing so we could spend what we had on Disney. Shorter walk to food than it is to drive. The water park is also very fun and quite large for a hotel
I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews online. I have to be honest, the hotel is really not bad at all. I made a reservation through Groupon and was impressed. The room was really clean with two queen beds. Gabriel at the front desk was very helpful and respectful. Please don't go by those bad reviews. Definitely will be staying here on our next trip
I love the #waterpark hotel concept, with plenty of shade over the water pools for the ones. Hated that there were no elevators nor signs to tell you that... we had to unpack our wagon and carry erything separately. The place advertised as a resort but it was no such thing.
This is a motel. I believe there is a newer section of the facility that may be a resort and nice, but the motel attached to the water park is a 2star motel. Very dated, no exhaust in bathrooms, dark and not well lit.
Hotel horrible, do not waste time reserving, bought three nights, could not stand one, I changed the next day, rooms and dependencies dirty, stench, moldy, old hotel, poorly renovated, dirty water park, and very poor public.
This hotel is great for families with young to middle aged children. From an adult standpoint, you do have the bar and arcade if you re into games, there s a pool separate from the water park with a bar. The rooms are not too bad. They clearly skimped on the few updates made in cosmetics. For example, nice shower stall tiles, poor grouting. Nice sink/shower faucet fixtures, shower faucet leaks nonstop. The towels are the economical brand if you don t mind that. They don t provide comforters, which I usually like sleeping with, even at home living in Florida. But I made do by using the extra thin blanket they had in the closet and turned down the A/C on the air conditioning unit. The breakfast buffet had some variety, not too many, which is fine by me. My child was able to find options that satisfied him(the Fruit Loops cereal was very popular, if it even was Fruit Loops. Could ve been a generic brand since they are placed in a dispensing container). Sadly, some of the fruit from their fruit options, specifically the honeydew and pineapple, I placed on my bowl tasted like it was beginning to spoil. I couldn t finish it. Other than that the rest of my meal was good. My hotel rate didn t include breakfast so I paid the $13 for me and $5 for my child. We spent $20 on arcade games and came out with an armful of prizes (we focused on high-ticketed games). They do have small prizes for any amount of tickets won so even young children can get a prizes. I found out at checkout about their kids club and activities. I think that s awesome and I would have let me child participate had I known. Anyway we were out at our theme parks so didn t fully enjoy all that the hotel had to offer. My son really loved the water park though. I really liked it too. And it really is a water park! I like that the splash pad and Kid s pool are underneath a roof so that children can still have fun swimming even if it rains outside. Definitely worth the visit here if you have children. If you re conscious about cleanliness, there are no bugs that I ve seen but I would suggest bringing your own sanitizing products when you check in. I was looking for hotel memorabilia. I only found a towel and the red parrot stuffed animal. May I suggest more memorabilia? Like key chains, t-shirts, etc. get creative! I would have loved to have bought souvenirs for my family back home. Anyway, I purchased a towel for &25. Overall, not bad. I would definitely recommend to those with children and I already have. I mean we did not travel here to stay in the hotel we bought four day passes for universal studios so the room was primarily for sleeping which worked just fine for us over priced definitely will choose a different hotel next time I mean what hotel doesnt have free breakfast these days the sneaky resort fee was BS considering we used the water a mere 3 hours in 5 days so no complaints on room or service but very disapppinted with pricing I recommend shopping around
The room I'm staying on smells like mildew You know when your basement has mold that's whaty room smells like Other than that the little water park it's Kool my kids liked it and it's so close to the Orlando eye I probably stay in the hotel again as long as doesn't smell like the room has been closed down for the past 6 months
Just got back from Florida today and I couldn't wait to write this review. Worse hotel stay I ever had, the second day there we realized there were ants all over our bathroom. I personally went down to the front desk to let them know, I was told someone would be there shortly to check it out. We waited 1 1/2hrs for them and no one came, we left to feed our children. Came back and noticed the ants were still there and nothing was done, so I called the front desk and was told someone would come up to check. We waited and waited and still no one came. Unfortunately we were stuck with this hotel until the end of our vacation, we tried to stay out as much as we could and always wore shoes in the room. I guess you learn from your mistakes and we will never be returning to this establishment and will warn others of it.
The suite was a decent size..large enough for my group. The chairs and sofa could use a steam cleaning/shampoo as they are very dirty. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable!!! After sleeping on that every joint in my body hurt. It's in a tourist area so I know the prices will be inflated, but $9 for a BLT & fries?!?!?!?! Overall..it wasnt about me and my preferences..We were celebrating a birthday and that individual was happy.
I was skeptical to stay so I originally purchased water park tickets.... then my family got tired. I reluctantly booked a room. It did not disappoint. I can smell a faint smell of smoke in the bathroom, it went away after a while. The rooms are VERY dark even with all of the lights on. The furniture does have some wear and tear but I was pleasantly surprised with how nice and big the rooms were. We have the double queen in building 6 (right by the pool) No complaints, the staff was very helpful and polite. The beds dont smell funny and the bathroom isnt old and decrepit like some of the reviews on TripAdvisor. For the price it's about what I was expecting. My ONLY negative is that we never got ice figured out, probably because of Covid but dont let the reviews scare you off. There's 5 of us in 1 room and and we are happy we decided to stay. Wht am I giving it 4 stars?! The room was good, staff was nice but it wasnt the best quality of room. There was dust and the windows weren't clean. Minor things that added up but weren't effecting the quality of our stay. I will definitely stay again though
Checked in on Thursday March 10th and wasn't too satisfied from day one but it was late and I just wanted to get my kids settled. The double bed room was very very small and cramped so I upgraded to dbl queen bed poolside like I've stayed in before. This is my third time staying here but this time I was beyond dissatisfied! I will not be returning to this hotel ever again. I don't how kid friendly it is. The a/c didn't work properly, the cleaning lady didn't even bother to clean anything but marked off she had cleaned the room. I was sitting right near the pool watching as she went in the room and came right back out and pushed her cart to the next room. I went to check the room to be sure and noticed that all she did was put a few towels in the bathroom. Did not change the linens. She tucked the old linen and took some clothes off one bed and put them on the other. I had to literally chase down the cleaning supervisor to show her that the room was never cleaned. If I could've found another hotel, I would've taken my kids to another hotel where we both could've enjoyed. If they don't improve, I can see them closing down not long from now. Thankfully we check out tomorrow.
This place was good with kids and very centrally located. The staff were very sweet and accommodating. The only criticism is that there is a mildew scent in the rooms and the bed pillows need to be firmer.
Rooms aren't as bad as I would've imagined just from judging on the outside. The eating area was dead for the most part, almost seemed closed although some employees were just mia. Overall, not too bad if you need a cheap place to stay for a short duration.
Clean room, friendly staff, places to eat, relax and of course, a water park. At first sight, you wonder if you pulled into the wrong parking lot. But you soon learn you did not. This is not a towering hotel with several floors. Just think Motel 6 with a water park in the middle. Outside of that, the place is nice. The rooms were clean and redone. The water park makes up for the odd layout and the staff are very friendly.
The one thing that annoyed me was the different answers I would get on the resort fee and other things. It was like no one was on the same page. In addition to that, my group that I went with, we requested rooms close to each other so our kids could play. We were assured that was fine but we all ended up scattered. Anyway, the water park made up for everything and the kids had a good time.
The most horrible experienced I have ever hard, poor and professional staff at the front desk, room was dusted and smell old, AC was not working properly, I was charged twice at the check in and check out, my account is overdrawn, I talked with staff at the front desk, left messages and the manager didn't bother to call me back. I will never ever will stay at that hotel again. What a nightmare
I went to spend the weekend with the family from Friday to Sunday. It turns out that the air conditioning in the room did not serve a horrible heat, it was not until Saturday night that they fixed it, they were in that the manager would communicate with me, which never happened, I hope they improve the responsibility for a better quality of service, I know I pay almost $ 500 for 2 nights
Guys this is bad.. I'm talking Motel 6/Super 8 with a waterpark... Checkin- took over 30 mins PLUS awful service. Then the gentleman that checked me in failed to mentioned the slides were out of service.. over heard it from another guest..
Room was nasty.. meaning it hadn't been cleaned well. Room smelled horrible. Bath room was nasty..
On the positive side, my kids enjoyed the water park. Both less than 7 years of age.
Dirty rooms, bad service, and even worse management. Kiddie pool was down most of the day. They kept telling us it was going to be fixed and it took all day. My daughter couldn't enjoy herself, due to her being scared of the big kids side. Big fight broke out and guns were pulled. Cops didn't eve stop the guy who pulled out the gun. Then management gave him a refund and let him go. As other guest went to the front desk to stress their concern about their safety, Management called the cops on them saying they had the gun. When clearly you let the man with the gun go. Very unhappy and will not be back.
If I could rate this hotel ZERO stars I would!! Absolutely horrible! We travel A LOT and this was the worst hotel we ve ever been in. They reserved the wrong room for us, when we got the hotel (after driving 7 hours to get there) the staff was extremely rude, and the place is a dump! If you re staying here, this hotel has a different definition of check in time than any other hotel in the world. We went to check in at 4pm, as their check in time states, and the manager on duty told us our room wasn t ready. When we asked why not, she got extremely rude with us and said check in STARTS at 4pm! That doesn t mean your room is ready!! . We finally got our room at 7:00pm....mind you, we had a 2 and 5 year old in tow with us. The entire 5 days we were there I don t think I saw one staff member smile, much less be nice to anyone. It s as if everyone staying there was an inconvenience to them. The entire place had an awful smell of mildew everywhere!!! We will NEVER stay at a Coco Key resort again and will make sure none of our friends do either!! DO NOT STAY HERE.
We won a Facebook contest for a free 2 night stay for 4. It was based on graduates of 2020. When we arrived, our room was decorated with graduation balloons, which was super nice of them!
The water park was clean, hotel was nice. Food was good and reasonably priced. Will def return!

Here now and let me just tell you the room's are not what they make it seem like on the internet this is a MOTEL! My shower has been leaking since i checked in called to let them kno sent somebody still leaking! I didn't have a microwave got one shortly after letting staff kno! Only staff that was accommodating and friendly is the tiki bar staff everyone is dismissive but they kid's are enjoying the water park! All i can say is if u would like to visit come and get the experience for yourself!
When we first arrived they hit us with so many fees when we had already payed for the fees when we booked.and also the bathroom water wouldn't get hot the room as we walked inside smelled really bad the sheets and blankets we're damp and another thing the phone wasn't working and I itched as soon I got inside the bed it gave my daughter a rash in her private area it had to be the pool overall I would not recommend anyone or myself to travel here next time it was horrible...
So I just spend three days here it was great the only problem I had was me and my husband rented a cabana outside and it wasn't worth it.it took 45 min to get my food and No one came and check to see if we were ok the girl who took my order. I only seen three times so when I needed a refill I ask a life guard he notified her i needed her but after waiting 45 min I have up and just went to the front for refills.I mean I will go back to coco keys but I won't waste my 43.00 on a cabana.
So I stayed there for about 3 days when I got to my room one it was hot the air was broken two the bathroom smelled So bad like pee or poop I went to the front nothing was resulted the next day I got a bunch of towels and the towels were crawling with roaches and they started coming out of everywhere so disgusting The manager Andre apologized and switch me he said I d get my money back and I never did it s been two weeks already the managers there are not very good or on top of things very poor service there I spoke to another manger named Kennedy I had spoken to her the next day as I was very dis pleased with the whole situation I told her to pass along a message to Andre she never did so dis organized and disgusting never ever staying there again not even free the only thing good there is the water park I paid all that money to stay in a very dirty and disgusting room and on top of it was my sons birthday
We have stayed at Coco Key about 4 years ago. First stay was amazing , so we decided to stay again. This visit wasn't the best, but we managed. I thought the room I booked had a microwave, nope. Floor was dirtier than outside, my sons feet were black. Couldn't find a working ice machine. Fridge door wouldn't close completely. Arcade area half the games didn't even work, took credits and couldn't play. Prices were high, resort guest should get some sort of discount price. We loved staying here last time but I doubt I will book again.
