This Resort Has NO WIFI And They Are Liers . Worst Experience Ever . The Room Had A Roach And The Employees Are Racist And Disrespected. All My Money Has Been Wasted . Was Very Disappointed Can't Believe It .

If you're paying more than 50 per night you're getting ripped off.

Don't bring your family here, and don't believe their pictures - this is a motel for partying and doing drugs. We couldn't sleep till 5am with insane partying and fighting, followed with weed smoke coming thorough the ventilation. We had to leave in the middle of the night because we couldn't let our kids get exposed to all the smoke. Came back in the morning with the whole room smelling weed. The staff didn't care at all, and treated it like it was normal.

Don't bring your family here.

Oh boy, were should I start? The resort its old and big. The breakfast its not free, the water park its awesome and well kept, it has a bar and a place to eat. The amenities are great. The staff its great although busy they pick up the phone and I had no problem with fees or staff. The big huge problem here is...the rooms and halls and some common areas are filthy. My advice is stop hiring third world country people, these people dont know how to clean because their countries are ruined and they dont know the difference between cleanliness and filth. Its not their fault but the managers and supervisors should really train the housekeepers. Believe me I use to be a housekeeper and haitians dont keep rooms clean. Also the doors need to be painted and the rugs in halls and rooms need to be shampooed asap!

Location can't be beat, but absolutely filthy. Our first room had such wet and dirty floors that it turned our feet black and there was a puddle of what appeared to be urine on the bathroom floor. Got a new room which was much cleaner, but the first was by far the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in.

I had a "HORRIBLE" time at this park. I had two kids with me. My son got away from me and went on a slide. I yelled for him to get down but he couldnt hear me among the noise. He jumped in and started drowning. I quickly sat the little one down and got him out of the water. All while the life guard , stood there and watched! Yes, I take accountability for my little one wandering. There werent any life guards at the top of that slide overseeing the children at time yet when i walked in there were two. Nobody was there yet theres thousands of kids playing, running, and sliding done the "VERY" same slide. And the very life guard who seen this take place.. Watched...I spoke with the manager and supervisor only to hear them tell me, he didn't jump in b.c he seen me going after him..like..really a trained life guard. Also, they stated , we did do something we moved him..like really ...nonchalant and all ..yet they moved this same life guard to another area with kids!....NEVER AGAIN!

This hotel which seemed like a motel was the worst. It smelled like wet moldy cloths or a hospital. To get to my room my girls and I ( age 6and4) had to walk a long way form the parking lot to the elevator with all of our luggage. And we were not the only ones. The pools and water park area had way too much chlorine in it, they closed and opened the pools when they wanted. But we don t have a choice in paying the resort fee if we don t want to which is $32 and change daily. There was no assistance in the arcade so I bought a card for $20 (that I won t ever use again) my girls won tickets and wasn t able to get anything for it. They had a sign on the counter saying that the attendant was out at the pool or assisting with a party. The pool was already closed by then and there was no party going on in the party room. They had movie night with no movie room. The movie was played from a projector in the damn arcade. The shower head had soap scum on it and the sink had cracks in it. I couldn t wait to come back home, I would NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

The worst hotel of many that I visited, I was from March 26 to 29, room 8105, we are in 2019 and those rooms still without microwage, they smell bad, they do not change the sheets until you leave the hotel and to top the last day my cell phone was stolen that was the housekking pk when I went to the car to leave my things k back she was the only one that was there and I had to get strong to appear, I was told k wait in the folder and about 30 minutes someone it appeared with my cell phone but without the cover it had already been removed, I also had it in silence and the volume had already been uploaded, that is to say someone had it, they never told me who, but I will give them a bad reputation to that hotel, also the swimming pool of alante that is the best closed, most of the parks closed, VERY BAD

CocoKey... BEDBUGS .... STAY AWAY...
the only nice thing it has is the water park and the arcade, other than that i would recommend you to stay away because is very filthy. Our room had **** BEDBUGS **** and we had to leave at 1am because even though we were offered a different room we didn't want to stay there anymore. After seeing a live bedbug in real life that just caused on my son a negative impact on Every hotel that we try to stay on ... STAY AWAY

This was a horrible experience for me and my family. This hotel receives 1 Star from us!! We stayed at the Cocoa Key Resort on International Dr. in Orlando Fl from 12/22/18-12/25/18. We came back to our room Christmas Eve and our door was left opened. Not only that but the housekeeper never picked up our dirty used towels nor did she change our sheets. I dropped food on the sheets so there was an obvious stain indicating they needed to be changed. My husband went down to complain and only received an apology. When he went down the 2nd time to reiterate the need for clean towels, he was handed towels at the desk. We all know, out of courtesy, they should have been brought to our room. It is NOT the guests job to carry towels from the front desk. I have never experienced this trifling behavior before. They waived a service charge but should have given us a free stay for their housekeepers negligence. I don t know if anyone came in my room or not but the thought of my room being left open disturbs me. We will NEVER stay at this resort when visiting Florida. I would advise you to keep strolling past this careless uncaring hotel.

I learned today that relying on reviews isnt the right way to go. I was completely nervous booking after i read reviews on this place. Boy Im glad I didnt let the reviews fool me. My kids love this place. The staff is courteous and friendly. Something for everyone to enjoy. My kids had a blast! Rooms are clean and nice, tons of places to go walking distance. Great place, truly satisfied. Worth every penny!!!

For the money you get a decent room, water park admission, pool, and access to a shuttle service. Wifi was not good or availible in many places and limited to say the least. Front desk and maintenance were responsive and helpful.

We booked here online, and will stay again. The water park was high enough to occupy the kids for the entire day. The hotel was a nice mid rate and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly and willing to go the extra if u needed them. A pleasent and fun weekend excurrsion

This was my 2nd time staying here in a year and it wasn't as good as the 1st time. My drains in the bathroom for the sink and tub were slow draining. I had to call twice to get them fixed and then a 3rd time for the tub, which never got fixed. The wifi wasnt working either. It's in a great location of restaurants and things to do though. Not sure what was going on this time but didn't have all these issues the last time.

Kids had a blast at the water park and the arcade was really big inside with alot of fun games. My only issue with the resort was that there were no microwaves in the rooms and my boys had to eat junk food when they got hungry for a snack unless we loaded up and went out for food. Otherwise it was a great trip

Rooms need a little updating. A/C wasn't the greatest, but it worked. Smoke detector died in the middle of the night so that was annoying, but the water park was fun and kept the kiddos busy.

It was fun for the kids and very nice for the price. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonable place to stay close to Disney.. Especially with younger children! Was very well located and was able to walk up and down to local places without problem.

This hotel was just ok. Just to clarify, it is in no way a "resort". Yes, it has potential to be one considering the property and maybe with better management and better amenities, but as it stands, it is not.
We came here for a 1 week vacation with our two boys, (10 & 13 year old) mainly to visit Universal parks and Seaworld. I chose this hotel back in March mainly for its water park because it looked like it would keep my boys entertained while we took breaks from the parks, but because their water park is open to the public, it is over crowed and not very clean, making my boys frustrated and just wanting to go back to the hotel pool that is just for its patrons. The park had plenty of lifeguards and supervision for the kids but they could really use an upgrade to there lounge chairs and towels. I was completely aware of this based on other reviews I had read, but decided to give it a shot anyway.

Upon arriving we were greeted and helped by Yaya who was super helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfy but I feel the rooms were a bit dark and dreary looking and also need to be updated. We had breakfast at there buffet one day and it was good but wished it was included with our stay since many neighboring hotels offer free breakfast.

Would I stay here again? Probably not. Only because I could have gotten a much better hotel at a much better rate (or similar), at many other places on idrive. We definitely over paid. The hotel competition in Orlando is fierce. Shop wisely and don't be fooled by colorful brochures and photos.

I'm not sure how old the pictures are they have online but this "MOTEL" is a very very very outdated property all across the board!! There was no microwave or blow dryer & the refrigerator didn't work properly. The water park is in good condition and my 8 year old had a good time. For the price & the condition of the rooms/property I would stay somewhere else close & buy passes for the water park.

The water park was great, but the slides opens by areas every hour. Apparently for lack of lifeguards. I went in 2 occasions to look for towels and in both they told me that they did not have and that they arrived in 20 minutes. I asked for a room near the park and they said yes, they were available but that the beds were smaller and it was a lie. The cleaning of the rooms very badly. My child was sitting at the table and playing, he moved it and there were two syringes underneath. We went to call someone to tell them what happened and they just picked them up and looked at me as if we had put them there. I do not return or recommend it. The only good thing is that my children enjoyed the pool.

This place is an all around terrible. The entire resort is dirty, littered with trash and food. The water park is not clean at all and over crowded. The food selection is gross and overpriced. If you want good customer service forget it! We asked 4 different staff members to wipe down a table and each claimed to be "too busy." Families are better off visiting a water park since they're just as busy at least the water park is bigger. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Where to even start. First we arrived to check in at 7 pm to be told us that there was only a room available that had 2 queen beds (I requested a King with a sofa bed) and after I told them that was unacceptable due to sleeping arrangements they told me they could have a king room ready later and they would call me when it was ready. We went to eat and came back at 8:30 pm when the room was ready. We went to the room and these rooms are dingy which I was prepared for however when getting the boys ready for bed, there were no fitted sheets on bed or sofa bed (this was a first for us) and I go to provide the boys the sheets that were in the closet and there was a huge yellow stain on the white sheet (GROSS). My 3 year old was walking all over and when I go to put him in bed his feet are black from the grime on the floor (I just showered him so his feet were clean). I went to call the front desk and the phone did not work. So I call from my cell and complain and management comes to our room and advises we will be upgraded in the morning and I was resistant but it was late and I did not want to make a big deal. After they left it just kept getting worse. The TV remote didn't work, the sink in the bathroom did not have a plug and the drain was super slow, our bodies were itchy from the unclean sheets and than when my oldest went to take a shower, i noticed something shiny on the wall next to the bathroom, it looked like a small stream of water on the wall. I go to investigate and touch the wall and notice the wall is leaking water. WATER!!! and I could not tell if it was coming from the sprinkler for fire on the wall or from my son showering. My 3 year old (being a 3 year old) touched the water on the wall and of course licks his hand (not cool). I also noticed a picture frame in that area where the leak was that as I got close noticed it seemed wet and the room already had a moldy smell. I did not want to move the frame however once my son got out of the bathroom he moved the photo frame so we can see what was behind there and it was MOLD! Yes MOLD and my little one licked the water. Needless to say we called the front desk and advised them we were leaving. I had to find a different hotel at 10:00 pm at night and was not able to find another hotel and check in til midnight. We left Coco Key Resort like bats out of hell. We did not eat there or go to the waterpark or anything with them after that. I refer to this experience as going to the CaCa Key Resort. I get that its a reasonable price and some say you get what you pay for however I have stayed at the Magic Moments Resort which is about the same price or less and their rooms are at least clean. And for crying out loud let some clean fitted sheets.

Worst hotel experience! I brought my daughter for a Spring Break Universal trip and booked through Universal Vacations. I will NEVER stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone! I checked the reviews prior to booking but there were mixed reviews and I assume now that the positive reviews were done by the staff.

The hotel would be okay versus horrific if the cleaning staff did a good job and the manager inspected what he/she expect. I am assuming that the manager s expectation is quite low based on what we saw. When I checked in, I noticed that the couch had stains and the place needed dusting. Their were splashes on the furniture and they were chipped. I asked to move to another room only to realize that yes it can get worst. The lamp shades were broken, the couch was dusty with suspicious spots and crumbs, splashes again on furniture and where the towel rack was there was a vent behind it and once we took the towels down it exposed the black dust on vents. I took pictures of my experience to prove that whomever is saying the room was great is utterly inaccurate. Not worth the cost or hidden fees. Never again!

Awesome place in an even more awesome location in Central Florida. Near all the best restaurants in right down the street from the Orlando Eye. Besides the water parks the hotel has there's Mini Putt Putt golf next door and across the street at Chuck-E-Cheese.

Rooms are very nice and clean from what i had seen. Water is heated at alll times so thats not something you have to worry about. The water park is pretty bug and it has alot of slides for you to choose. Overall great place.

The room was ok. The first two night we didn t have WiFi when we asked for a discount we were moved to another room that was not as good as the first. It was a very rough night sleep. The water park was nice and easy to get to. Wish the rooms had microwaves in them. Overall ok but not for an extended stay.

I have stayed in many resorts and hotels and NEVER seen this before. When booking through a third party vendor it states there will be a $50.00 PER STAY deposit which is totally understandable and customary. So, unless you book directly with the resort (or at least this was their excuse when questioned) you will be unaware there is ACTUALLY a $50.00 PER DAY UPFRONT deposit. Coco Key stated they have no control over a third party s listed prices and the third party claims ignorance of the actual costs. Deceptive practices on the part of either the resort and or third party booking company who does NOT list this on their website. For someone on a limited income this can be the difference in having a good time on their vacation or not even being able to eat. I am totally disgusted and hope this doesn t ruin anyone else s vacation.

We went for a two night staycation with the kids. The park was great. The heated pool amazing. The rooms though need updating and they should offer a microwave in room. My toddler needs a warm bottle at night. But great stay other than that.

Our family of four stayed here for a week, and there is a small water park inside, which is very suitable for children to play. Charges are at regular prices. But I think because of the water, the carpet in the room always gives me a wet feeling. The sound insulation effect is not very good. I often hear the voice next door. I personally think that if you like the water park, you can consider staying.

The water park was great. Everything else was not good. The hotel room was not very clean, the entire shower was about to come out of the wall. The room smelled like mildew. The bathtub has the previous persons hair all over it. The beds are tinnnnny and uncomfortable. The sheets are stained and the way they have the sheets setup is just weird. And of course, this is Florida and palmetto bugs are a thing here but it s just a turn off to see them in your hotel room you are paying a ridiculous amount of money for.

The offer breakfast when you book through them but when you get here, they say you have to pick either the water park tickets or breakfast but yet their FAQ says that every reservation comes with 4 water park tickets and it doesn t say that anywhere on the offer. The front desk BSd their way out of that and said there was nothing they can do.

I have come here every year and I don t really have high expectations because it s never been a great place but I am more and more disappointed each time I come.

This was a super deal! We have a 14 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. We planned a Disney trip, but didn't want to pay thousands at a Disney resort, so we booked this place at $34 A NIGHT!!! Honestly, we didn't expect too much for the price, but the water park was worth its weight in gold for my daughter. My wife and son loved the whirpool/hot tub by front pool. They do have a separate pool away from water park in the event you want to just swim or whirpool without crazy water park chaos. They have a great breakfast buffet, reasonably priced. And, there is a Cici's pizza, burger king, Dunkin Donuts, Mcdonalds and more all within walking distance. It's in a great location, and it's super convenient to have a Walgreens next to it as well. We read previous reviews saying to stay in building 6. We did request it and it was accommodated. The room was ok, not dirty, just ok. Although the beds didnt seem all that great, we slept great. Perhaps it was the late nights at Magic Kingdom and universal that helped. We were all very happy, and would definitely stay there again. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the rooms could use a touch up, we didn't feel dirty in them or anything, but they could be spruced up. Hey, for $34 per night we spent, this was a remarkable deal. We could have stayed all 5 days there lounging around the hot tub and water park w the kids.

The water park is great for the kids but the hotel living is pitiful, the wiring in the building makes it to where you have to sleep with the lights on just for the fridge to stay on over night, and the biggest problem no sugar for the coffee they provided in the room

Worst resort I have been too. Starting off with the front desk staff let's says there dry not much outgoing. Breakfast isn't included, they charged us 10.00 plus tax more for a microwave which was super ridiculous , the beds are super uncomfortable and are provided with some thin sheets, rooms are very tiny and to top it off the wifi sucks. Paid over two hundred dollars a night for this resort and everything that I was looking forward to here sucked other then the kids water area which opens at 11am. For the price you can easily get a way nicer hotel and theme park tickets for your family. Just trying to give everyone a heads up so you don't make the same mistake me and my family made.

This place was a hot mess! So we decided to take our 10 year old and a friend here for spring break..just for one night..which ran us a little over $400.00. We get there..did early check in and were allowed to use water park until out room was ready. So we had lunch . Order was all wrong..food was disgusting. Ordered a few mixed drinks ($18 each) then walked around with the kids so they could play. Well to our dismay 3 of the water slides were not even working. We asked management about this..they offered to reimburse us for parking ($44) for the inconvenience . Negative ghost rider..we asked for a refund before even seeing the room and went down the street to the Hilton..ahhh much better.

There wasn't anything incredible about the place. The water park was a fun experience for approximately 2 hours. Afterwards there was nothing to entertain the kids other than the arcade which was rather dated and had games that were not functioning. The room is basic but it accomplished the goal of being a place to stay and sleep. Overall it wasn't an amazing experience for an Orlando location but it did meet basic needs.

I never received my deposit back after my stay. I made several phone calls, left many messages, never received a call back. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I stayed there for a week in June of 2019. I would appreciate if someone would respond back as to why I never received the deposit back that I was told by the Front Desk agent would be put back to my card.

Very nice hotel with an excelent location. They have heated pools for the cold days. It is located at International Drive, wich is the street where you can find everything and is close to Universal Parks and Disney Parks. The hotel rooms are good, but carpets may be a problem to allergic people.

We booked from August 12 to 17 and in the days we have been here we have seen that it is a lack of respect to close the water park every one or two hours to save when one in fact the only difference hotels is the park for the kids, everyone has a pool and you ask those who work and do not know how to explain why they do it, it's a pity because not only to me but to everything that I pay to spend your vacations in the hotel I see how it has been stolen the money because the posters say that the parks are open from 11 am to 9pm and in no time have they complied. Actually I am very upset with all this.

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. Booked 2 nights only stayed 1 because someone(maintenance) tried breaking into my room claiming I called about a clogged sink. Asked for a refund and they charged me again. Would not recommend to anyone

Hotel is in an ideal location and pool is nice and kept clean, lots of attractions near. But the 2 star rating is due to facility being very outdated looks more like a motel, and the rooms have very strong mildew odor. Heat smells like a fire when turned on (i know pretty common not to big a deal ). Breakfast is a little bit of a hike in the morning therefore should be free of charge but isn t $$. Overall I would recommend trying a different location perhaps more updated.

I enjoyed my stay at CoCo Key overall. The rooms looked just like the pictures. We tried to confirm our reservation the night before but the front desk person seemed to have some trouble with English- which proved a pain but never cause a problem. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, showers worked well and the rooms and property were well maintained. The air conditioner irritated me because it took a while to cycle so it let the room get a little warm before kicking back on. Location made it easy to drive to Disney- the shuttle wasn't free and only runs once in the am/pm.

Incredibly family friendly! Water park was fun even as adults traveling alone. Parents had little consideration in the hot tub though and let toddlers run and splash in it- I had hoped it would have been my sanctuary lol. If you want any quiet, a room not overlooking the pools or in the center tower are best- tower on the water park side is the best view.
