I feel that management is not tenant friendly. I asked for temparature increase for room heaters and they denied my request right away. I feel they should have given option to adjust heater settings, instead they locked it for fixed temparature. They seems to be not concern about tenants.

Not a place to rent you pay for your parking but you still have to shovel your parking spot yourself. I cant have anybody come over and visit because the visitors parking is taken over by the tenants. the bedrooms freeze during the winter months. You cant open the window in the master bedroom because there is no screen. there is dog poop all over the place .I cant wait for the lease to be over to get out of here.
I've recently moved into the Streetsville area and I am incredibly impressed with the management at the Reid Drive location in Mississauga. Judy Drummond pays attention to every detail and is so helpful and approachable. I can only share praise for this woman who went out of her way to help me feel welcomed and comfortable. It is obvious she takes her responsibilities seriously.The evidence is in the buildings' tidiness, amenities and foremost under her attentive care she steers the maintenance teams that perform professionally. It is evident that she carefully manages the buildings under her charge, in which, inviting only those who she has carefully interviewed. CLV Group, you have a grand professional in Judy Drummond!
I wish I could give CLV Group 0 Stars. They are lazy, liars, and rude. They give you wrong information, they don't fix anything, they try to avoid doing anything in favor of applicants or tenants! BUYERS BEWARE of the JOKE CALLED CLV GROUP! Belleville, Ottawa, Kingston, Hamilton, London... Doesn't matter where you are. The corporation treats you like dirt!
Moving to a brand new city can be really daunting, with finding suitable housing to be the most challenging task of them all. Rachel and Danielle helped me every step of the way, which in turn made my move to St. Catharine's extremely smooth. Beautifully landscaped grounds, clean and modern facilities and lovely units is what made me choose this particular location. The team in the rental office, Rachel and Danielle, are extremely efficient and professional. Rachel, in particular, is very warm and welcoming and answered all my questions promptly. I was there for less than a month and my vehicle was vandalized twice while I was parked in my designated parking spot resulting in damage exceeding $3000.
I told onsite management that due to the damage my rent would be a week late. I was told I better get it to them ASAP or I would be evicted.
If that wasn't bad enough, on several occasions beer bottles got smashed on the apartment sidewalk less than 3 feet from my bedroom window.
Very poor ventilation. If I left my food out (uncovered) it would taste like an ashtray, thanks to my chain smoking neighbour.
I totally agree with the other reviews regarding staff. They seemed like they couldn't care less about your complaints or concerns. All they seemed to care about was if your rent was paid on time.
Based on my experience I would NEVER recommend that ANYONE rent from CLV Group Sarnia.
My experience with CLV Group has been fantastic. When we first arrived in Ottawa to drop off our son for University we encountered a small problem with his apartment (had to do with previous renters and a very busy labour day weekend). When we expressed our concerns we found out what type of company we were dealing with. They worked quickly and came up with a solution that had us still moving in the same day. This was our first encounter with Angela Squirrell, she had everything organized and ready for completion when promised. Since my son only had one semester left we knew we would be trying to sublet the apartment come January. CLV Group told us that it wouldn t be a problem and they would help us through the paperwork when required. True to her word Angela was amazing at walking my son through the process. This was very important to me since I was 6 hours away. She was always honest, prompt and informative which made our experience with CLV Group amazing. Well Done!!!
Don t waste your time on this. They only care about money They don t pick up their phones. They ll most likely take your deposit then refuse you, then you ll have to wait weeks till you get it back. Don t waste your time on such places.
If I could give negative stars I would, living in this place was a nightmare. I stayed in apartment 7 at 378 Lafontaine Ave in Ottawa for 2 years while i was at uOttawa. Firstly, the other tenants smoke, a lot, indoors, and the stench leached into my unit, despite my efforts to keep it out with and using multiple plug ins and deodorizers. When I came to view the unit, there was no smoke stench at all and it was not disclosed to me that other tenants were allowed to smoke and did so regularly to the point where everything I owned reeked of cigarettes, and I don't even smoke.
When I moved in Sept.2015 I was told I would have no issues, if there were anything like bugs, to just contact them and they'll fix the issue. The first year I was there, there were next to no issues, the second year however was a damn nightmare to say the least. My second year, there was a new contact lady and she rarely replied to emails, it took me almost a week to get a backed up sink dealt with (issue with the whole building was not my fault). I had to email multiple times over the course of the week to get a reply back. When this happened the previous year, the woman who was in charge then had someone come out within an hour of the email.
I had a major bug issue, I had emailed multiple times to be told it would be dealt with but wasn't, so I had to go out and purchase a whole bunch of stuff to deal with it. The baseboards had cracks in them and that's where these little insects called silverfish were coming from. I would classify this as an infestation. And there were also these little bugs that looked like beans that i couldn't get rid of for the life of me. The entire unit was poorly constructed, the drawers in the kitchen had no backs so stuff would fall behind into the cabinet below the drawer. The walls were also paper thin, so you could hear everyone and everything. The windows would always be jammed, and again very poorly constructed, the screen had a hole in it which was great.
I moved out on March 31st and that was the last day of my lease, considering my unit was in perfect condition, made all rent payments on time, all I asked was if I could stay until 9 am on Saturday morning, since my family from Toronto was coming to help me move back, but of course they said no.
I was very anxious about finding a new rental, but the CLV group made the process so smooth. I worked with many different agents who were always prompt and even available after working hours. I always felt well taken care of and it was an absolute pleasure, they also helped me find the apartment of my dreams!

CLV Group is pretty dran awesome! They took a dump here in Montreal and have converted it into the next destination spot for a young married couple such as myself. The best part is that it will only get better.

My girlfriend and I have been living here for nearly two years, with no complaints! The staff are responsive to any requests and always friendly. Great location and well-kept. All-in-all, a good experience for us!
If I could give a zero star review, I would. They didn t maintain the property, didn t fix any issues we had (spider infestation, cracked tiling, broken fridge, no screen door etc), didn t answer any emails, phone calls, or letters sent. Refused to let us out of our lease due to not fixing any issues, smoking in the building, refusing to contact us. By far worst place I ve ever lived.
Great group with great staff especially Valeriya Aydakova, the leasing Administrator. I had a wonderful experience. She's really patient and incredible flexible with my person and my expectations. She understands my concerns and she knows how to do a very professional follow up with clients !!! CLV Group is lucky to have her as a responsible member !!!
I moved into June Avenue this past February to a freshly painted and renovated apartment. Becoming a resident was made easy and quick and I settled in comfortably. Our Zophia is always there to answer your questions, be of service in any way she can and makes you feel safe and right at home; like a part of the family. Our building is always clean and fresh and we are in the process of having beautiful new glass balcony railings installed. Our gardens look lovely this season and Zophia adds hanging baskets and planters so that you are proud to have guests over and admire how pretty everything looks. This past summer she hosted an "Appreciation" day BBQ on the grounds for us all that was well attended. I know she works very hard to keep it all looking and running so nicely. She asked when I first moved in how long I thought I would stay and when I told her, she laughed and said there were many residents that said similar and were still there many years later! I can see why now! Keep up the great work!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Never rent a house or an apartment from clv group. They don t care or respect their tenants. There are countless notices of entry for useless maintenance work. NO respect for tenant privacy. On top of that, they sometimes give notice of entry during a whole day and don t show up. For 3 months there is construction work going on to improve the OUTSIDE looks of the houses that clv owns in our neighborhood. Of course this is just cosmetics so they can further increase the rent. Constant noise, sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays as late as 7pm (not joking!!). Dirt everywhere, workers urinating on the house walls, it s really unbelievable. Complaints are just ignored clv. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them. As a side note: The townhouses in the crystal beach area in Ottawa contain asbestos. Of course they will only tell you that after you singed the lease (maybe). Another very good reason to stay away.
I have been renting from CLV Group for 5 years and my experience has been excellent. Their rental rates, either yearly or month-to-month, are very fair when considering the quality of the apartments, location, and services/amenities. I have found CLV agents and property managers to be friendly and responsive to requests.
I have only good things to say about my experience with CLV and I highly recommend renting from them.

Lived in the same unit under CLV group for 2 years, problems were few and far between! 214 Metcalfe: Great apartment, secure and clean building, relatively good at addressing any concerns that I had. One of the few frustrations was that there were frequent changes of the super for the building so it was often difficult to get in touch. Also overheated the hallways in the Winter, but better than being too cold!
Spacious rooms. Lot of fresh air and sunshine. Washrooms are good. Proper maintenance of building is done on a regular basis. Very close to big grocery store and Malls. Good sensitive fire alarms system is in place. Overall I am very satisfied with the service. No water and electricity problems whatsoever.
The apartment is well maintained and quiet. Michelle is a pleasure to deal with. She is considerate and professional, often going out of her way to deal with those of us who work shift.
Karine was excellent from Day 1. I was going through an unexpected move and she made the entire process so much less stressful and I felt like she truly cared about me. She is professional, thoughtful, and has a real eye for design! I loved touring the apartments she'd decorated! She even went out of her way to make sure I received a package I was expecting for the holidays!
Worst rental experience I have ever had I actually had MUSHROOMS growing from under my toilette the only time they wanted to come fix it was when they were trying to sell it to someone else!!! They are extremely unprofessional and could care less about the well being of their tenants (even when they pay their rent on time ever single month!!)
This past week there were two calls for a carbon monoxide alarm in the parking garage ! After the second alarm a few days after the first the fire fighters found out the ventilation system doesn t work!The owners here only care what the outside looks like they don t take care of anything on the inside of any importance! I pay for the parking and I have a young child! Many tenants have young children and are concerned ! I will refuse to pay for parking until they fix the ventilation system
I moved into my building in September of this year. So far i have had a great stay. I haven't had any problems yet. And Michelle, the Customer Care Coordinator is always great to deal with. I love living here and have recommended it to my friends.

Natalie was instrumental in helping me get my first apartment at 700 Ross! My experience with her was awesome. With it being my first apartment, I had a lot of questions and she helped answer them all. Always quick response times. The newly renovated apt along with appliances look great and I can't wait to make it my home!
Moved into a CLV Group property in early July and have had a great experience so far. I originally contacted Christine D'Silva about a couple of units near Sommerset & Kent but they weren't right for me. We had a quick chat about what I was looking for and Christine recommended a different apartment in the same neighbourhood. I'm glad she did because the unit she recommended was amazing and my boyfriend and I love living here!
I found dealing with CLV Group has been painless so far. The apartment was even painted and professionally cleaned before we moved in. Shawn Murphy, our property manager has been very responsive to all our enquires and the overall apartment complex is kept clean and well maintained.
My wife and I have enjoyed our new apartment and the management have been wonderful to work with. However, I want to especially commend the Superintendent Justin. He has been simply amazing. We have had to deal with him on several issues and Justin has always surpassed our expectations and he is such a pleasure to deal with. My experience with CLV as a property management group has been very positive. Twice, I have had problems with noisy neighbours that were keeping me up at night because of all the stomping above my bedroom, or the running and jumping in the unit above mine. Kelly has been superb in handling these delicate situations in a professional and compassionate manner. I am moving out, not because I do not like my apartment, which is lovely, but because the units are too noisy. Hardwood floors carry sound a LOT! I have had an opportunity to move to another property management company but chose to stay with CLV. The service has been exemplar in both cases. Kelly is fantastic and very personable. So is Rhoda, the rental agent where I am going to (well, hopefully). She is my inspiration for when I officially join the senior citizen group (which is soon). Lovely lady, very personable, and niiiiiice!
For the past few months I have been apartment shopping with my boyfriend and have narrowed down my top picks to two different apartment buildings both of which or owned by CLV Group.
These apartments are all beautifully renovated, the grounds are clean and well maintained and staff is always kind and helpful.
I am so thankful for especially Rachel, she has been very patient with us showing us the apartments that she has available and always keeping us in the loop. Her and Danielle are always happy and very welcoming whenever we come and very quick to answer all our questions as willing to work around our busy schedules.
When we finally make the move we will most definitely be renting with CLV Group. If the property alone didn't sell us on choosing them their wonderful staff certainly did!

I want to express my thanks and gratitude to Michele King, rental agent for CLV Group in Stratford, who assisted me in finding the perfect apartment and also made sure that all my wants and needs were met. In order to accommodate me, she often went out of her way and was also generally very helpful in getting me moved and settled here. My new apartment is so much nicer than other places in town I had looked at before and it is affordable on top of that.
Very bad experience with them. Before start viewing their appartement I explained to them my situation and they said it s fine just bring the last month payment cheque. I gave the cheque, my bank statement, all docs required from me and my wife. After few days they cameback to me and asked me to provide guarantor. I did also with all required docs. They said it s fine and appartement should be mine. But suddenly and after again 2 days they replied that they refused and they will not give the reason why. I don't know why they don't give the reason... So I lost almost 10 days following their instructions for nothing. My advise for everybody is even if you started the process with them, keep looking somewhere else because you will never know when and why they will stop your process and waste your precious time.
Completely uncooperative and unhelpful. Expected more from a company that charges premium rates for rent. Do NOT deal with Riley, as he is completely unwilling to help, despite several requests. Take your money elsewhere - literally anywhere will be better.
The building (Liv) is well maintained other than the times that it smells of urine in the hallways (it is a pet-friendly building) and there are 4 fire alarms going off in the same week. Almost forgot to add - the power outages that have results in no A/C for hours on some of the hottest days. If none of this bothers you, then this is the perfect place for you.
UPDATE: Contrary to CLV s response, this issue has not been resolved. They merely contacted us only after this negative review was posted to learn more about these issues. So far, there has been no resolution reached, despite what their response implies.
UPDATE: Since posting my original review below I've since been contacted by someone at CLV who was able to bring attention to my issues very quickly. They assured me that these types of issues were indeed considered unacceptable and should have never happened in the first place. I really appreciated the fact that they didn't try to make excuses that the errors occurred, but rather acknowledged them and worked with me to resolve them ASAP. While I'm still upset at the original two situations in my original review I'm confident now that my experience was outside of the accepted and expected service standards CLV strives for.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Inept administration. My building was purchased by CLV Group over 1 year ago. So far there have been some very positive aesthetic improvements to the property, however unfortunately any time I've had to actually deal with the administrative staff has been a nightmare.
I had my rent taken out twice mistakenly and after nearly a full month I still do not have the money back.
I also previously had an issue with a water leak that was completely ignored until water was literally pouring through my bathroom ceiling (having cracked the plaster). When I expressed concern that the wood above the cracked plaster was going to rot and likely fester mould I was given the run-around on addressing that until I ultimately gave up.
The only reason I'm still here is because my rent is very cheap (set by previous ownership). Since CLV has moved in rent has drastically increased for the other units in the building, far beyond what they are realistically worth.
Michelle Bisson helped my family and I to find a suitable apartment and was very friendly and accommodating. She expedited the process so we had very little waiting time, and I am grateful for her assistance.
My Mom and I just met with Thomas to view an apartment. The apartment was a perfect fit! All of our questions were answered, and Thomas provided an extensive knowlege of Ottawa as well.
Madison was a pleasure to deal with from the first email sent. I found the whole process of find a home was a nightmare, when I found the CLV group it was so quick and easy. Made it really easy for me to find a place in town! They took me around to a lot of their buildings in centretown and the process to find a place was really easy! A lot of their units are recently renovated and when my fridge broke they had a new one in their in 30 minutes!
I like coming to the office because they are always attentive and love to help. I like the building and the neighborhood of cote-st-luc. Karine is the best !!! Cool
I recently moved into 14 Reid... I have to say, I am very impressed with Judy. I was very reluctant to move into an apartment building. I basically rented because of Judy, the friendly community she has created here, and how clean the building is. Both Judy and Dan were great with move in, my unit was very clean, I had to do nothing prior to move in. I have 20 years background as a regional manager for property management companies, Judy is a great asset to CLV.
My building administrator is wonderful. Whether it is by phone or email, she always answers my questions, and finds a way to solve the problem I have at the momet. I think Karine is great.
Terrible place to live, horrible staff, they don t care anything about the people that live in the buildings. The buildings stink. They only want your money. Stay away from CLV in general. Awful company.
I am stunned at how poor the service was while living with CLV in Ottawa. I was a tenant for a year, and thank god I left. They try to SQUEEZE every dollar out of their student tenants, it is ridiculous.
When my 3 roommates and I moved in, the apartment was supposed to have been repainted and the carpets steam cleaned. The day we move in, neither had been done. So they said we could call CLV and have them come clean whenever we were available. As the year goes by we already have our apartment set up, and it would've been impossible to have someone come in and steam clean the whole place, as most of us were full-time students and also worked.
Fast forward to two years later, I moved out a year ago and someone took my place on the lease (which was a huge issue in itself), CLV is now contacting me and my old roommates who don't live there anymore either. They are expecting us to pay for the steam cleaning that was never done prior to us moving in. The carpets were already disgusting when we moved in, but now it is like they are expecting us to pay for the next tenant's clean carpets. I am wondering if they charged the last tenants before us for carpet cleaning but never did it either....
CLV is now threatening to take this to the credit bureau, and as previously stated we are students that signed with guarantors, so it would be our parents credit as well as ours that they want to affect. This is a cruel company that only cares for profits, and if you have a good experience with them you probably are rich or stupid, we are sick of being taken advantage of by a shady company. Makes you wonder what kind of people get off on making struggling students pinch pennies, just to make that extra dollar.
Oh and don't even get me started on the roaches that infested our apartment.....
My experience with CLV Group has been nothing but great. My landlord was always available when I had questions or concerns and would respond very quickly. The staff is very kind and helpful, always friendly. The building was clean and any time I had an issue, the problem was resolved either the same day or within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend CLV to anyone looking to rent.
I have been living here for 10 years and have seen alot of impovements since CLV has taken over .The staff here are friendly and helpful ..anytime I have had an issue they respond efficiently and quick....great place to live.
I was treated wonderfully while looking for an apartment at the Avalon apartments by a gentleman by the name of Darryl. He was extremely patient and welcoming with me as I insisted on seeing several different apartments and took a great deal of his time. He was wonderful. As a result, I have applied for an apartment that he showed me, and my first experience with CLV was a great one. Thank you Darryl!
The CLV group is a vulture group. Poorly maintained building, bad parking space despite the high prices. The concierge is only present once a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. How do you get access to the concierge when you are not at work at this time? To make matters worse, they now want to charge us $ 10 for lockers that we have used for years. They are vultures who think only of snowshoeing the tenants. Flee their buildings. In any case, I won't be taken back.
Update - Tindale Court, Hamilton - the only issue I had since moving here was with cockroaches. Management has delt with the issue very well, many of the apartments on our floor were treated and the issue has been resolved.
We moved here in January and other than the bug problem, I have had no issues. Management has dealt with all reported issues in a very timely manner, the tenants are friendly, nice area, improvements are being made in and around the building. Overall, I'm happy here :)
I recently signed a lease for an apartment with CLV Group. Olivia Wanjon was especially helpful. She was punctual, prompt at communicating, friendly, and answered all my questions. All the staff I have dealt with have been extremely professional and have made the process very easy, start to finish. Looking forward to moving in!

I currently live at 3 Ullswater Drive and have been here for just over a year. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. Luc the property manager is great, always helpful and very pleasant. They're pet friendly and the grounds are kept very clean. So far my experience with CLV has been great and I would recommend them to everyone.
I like CLV Group a lot. Office staff are polite and helpful. All service calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Had lawn and garden maintenance been better, I would have gladly given 5 stars. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a place in the Ottawa area.
I have visited a few apartments in the cote-st-luc and NDG areas and when i came across the CLV group owned properties my jaw dropped! the quality of the housing is top notch and i was told that they are constantly updating their buildings to ensure maximum comfort and eye appeal to all their residents. I am definitely moving in as soon as I can into one of their apartments as i am sure i will be nothing but pleased! Not to mention the staff working there is extremely friendly and helpful. I was assisted by Karine and she had an answer to all my questions and then some. She was extremely helpful and really made my visiting experience a pleasure! Hoping to move in there very soon!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! CLV Group will do anything to take as much money as they can from you if you leave their services. CLV will over charge thousands of dollars for minor repairs as well as keep the $500 damage deposit thats supposed to cover that stuff. It is a trap do not rent from this company ever! Safe renting Ottawa.
Rented 955 Wonderland in London for a year. The place is great, kids loved the pool, tennis courts, great location with everything in walking distance. Regular maintenance and improvements the team is always investing in the property to improve it (laundry room, facilities). Only moving to be closer to the kids school and will miss the freshly renovated apartment.
We were the lucky recipients of the CLV Group golf tournament that they hosted last year, and we could not be more appreciative! They were fantastic to work with and love to give back to the community. We look forward to working with them again in the near future.

I've never gone to CLV (Chad in particular) without a quick response. Within a matter of 20-30 minutes he has Nick on the scene fixing or dealing with whatever I need.

I had a terrible living in CLV group Sarnia. Mold problems like crazy, outlets not working, rude tenants, building smelling like mold and smoke, patio doors don't open properly, messed up on my roommates name on the lease, hydro bill always came late or sometimes didn't come at all, plumbing is messed up, management doesn't seem to care about buildings, They just repaint the walls multiple times instead of cleaning and clearing mold the proper way. All in all very bad experience living here. AND the experience gets worse! Had someone come clean the mould out of our apartment today and fix everything and he was rude and pretty much told us it was our fault for the mould, its our fault for having blankets on our windows? 1. we put the blanket there AFTER the mould started and 2. blankets? where are those window coverings that were to be up before we move in?
Not good i have lived here since before clv took over and never has an issues with roaches now my place has them every where i own all the appliances and if and when i move i cant taken them with me i will have to go out and buy all brand new stuff again i just bought all the appliances in june of 2014 an everyone knows that the roaches are coming from unit 10 at 245 and no one will do anything about them i had my place sprayed 2 time the first time i worked for 2 days to get it ready and he sprayed everywhere and it was strong they you would smell it days later the second time it took about 25 mins to spray the second time it took me 2 days again and he only sprayed my kitchen and not the whole house like i was told he was doing and he cant even say he did the up stairs cause my self and someone was sitting right here when he was in my house and he was only in it for 5 mins or less and it was not the same stuff as the first time u could not even smell it. so now i will have to take this to the courts since i am getting no where with the owners
- Property manager never gets around to fixing basic things like oven light or window screen, after both calling and asking in person multiple times - even setting a date and then never showing up or calling back. I can literally expect a lower percent flake chance from a random Tinderella, and that's pretty messed up! - Can't control heating, which would be fine if the settings were reasonable but they aren't - it's the middle of the freezing Canadian winter, yet for some inexplicable reason it is regularly so uncomfortably hot in my apartment that I'm sweating, to the point that it's hard to sleep. In fact, it's less hot in the summer. Wtf?
Will be moving out to a better managed property. I advise you to look elsewhere, too, if you have the option.
Me and my girlfriend lived at 2460 southvale crescent for 3 years and enjoyed our stay. The building itself is well maintained (very clean) and the staff is very nice and accommodating. I don't usually post reviews but when we left they were so good to us I just had to write something. Special thanks to Roda and Gerry who work there.
I recently applied for a rental unit at 455 Maple in Burlington, Natalie Hodge put us in the right direction. She was very professional and very helpful. With no luck we did get denied we then proceeded with plan B. We applied with a guarantor. This time fool proof so we thought. Again no luck. We are a small family who were trying to get a break and start fresh to get back on track, we had a home that we live in and due to the increase in hydro rates we tried to down size as we no longer needed the 5 bedroom with a pool and a basement i don,t even use. We have lived here for 9 years. We had very little help as to why this happened. The people we spoke to at their head office had very little time for us as to explain why or even help to look at other options. Wonder how they would like to be in that situation and be shunned upon. We were told this company does more than look a credit LOL even with the Guarantor having a A1credit rating they came back to say they base applications on other factors, LOL I guess working at the same job for 24 years having the same landlord for 12 years they deemed us as high risk. And when trying to contact anyone even customer service you get no Joy let alone a reply.
My husband & I have lived in Crystal Beach for over 35 years. We raised our family here. Crystal Beach is a very beautiful & safe neighborhood. It has the small town feel but very close to shopping schools & movie theaters. The CLV Group took over our units last March. Since then they have made many very noticeable upgrades to our units. Some of the upgrades are, new roofs, new front doors, painting of he exteriors, new walkways & lots of landscaping. I can't wait till the summer to sit outside and enjoy all these changes. Any time we need repairs or upgrade to our unit the CLV people have been more than helpful & friendly. It is so nice to rent from people who care.
I do NOT recommend this company!! I am an unhappy client of CLV. We moved from Avalon Park in June 2016, on the last day, we had a meeting with the administration to show a small damage we did on the kitchen countertop, we had never hide it, and we had offered to pay, but, they told us that it wasn't an issue and we didn't need to worry about this. After 6 months, we get an e-mail from a collection company, to pay the fix of the countertop. We called CLV many times to discuss the issue, the amount they were charging was abusive, we went to the head office, but the answer was always the same: someone will call you to discuss the issue, they never called. I am really upset with the lack of information, transparency, and honesty.
I am a happy and satisfied new tenant at 25 Kappele Circle in Stratford, Ontario. My partner and I moved in mid-December and Tanya Hefkey and Jeff Hutchison who work in the building have been exemplary. Tanya is responsive, always welcoming and she even helped us out with our cats! When I have needed to deal with issues with the apartment (minor things, like a new shower head) he was on top of it, despite his busy schedule. The apartment is really nice, located near a convenience store and a bakery. We feel at home in Stratford and Tanya from CLV is a big, big reason why.
I've been renting for a decade now and haven't had an easy and pleasurable experience with it until meeting Natalie who handles the 700 Ross place in Burlington. She's been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. It makes a huge difference.
I have yet to live in the unit as I move next week but it was ridiculously clean, spacious and fit my needs perfectly. I'm excited for me and my pets to call somewhere this welcoming, home. Very excited.
Moved in to a CLV building in Streetsville this August. Our new building manager, Judy, organized everything, helped us move in and was over-the-top helpful and professional.
Our unit was spotlessly clean when I came in to paint and a few small issues we had were fixed very quickly, with no trouble for us.
CLV Group @25 Kappele Circle in Stratford Ontario has been amazing. Very informative and always willing to do what it takes to complete the task. I have always been treated kindly and with compassion. Our facility here is an older building that has been well maintained and updated in recent years. CLV Group in Stratford truly does take their role seriously and they provide top notch living quarters.
CLV Group has been a great company to rent from. I currently rent from them but am moving at end of the month. Due to our fantastic rental agent Chad Loikets and our amazing Area Operations Manager Heather Baker I have decided to continue renting from CLV Group just at another one of their buildings. I would recommend renting from any one of CLV Group's rental properties
Trying to find an apartment in a short period of time can be stressful. With CLV Group's help I found just the perfect place to call home. The staff was quick, professional and answered all questions great and small. In dealing with them these past couple of weeks I feel very good about how I leased the apartment and the great care they will provide in the future.
I had a great experience working with Brooke. She has a great can do attitude, got fast answers to all my questions and had great follow up on sending me things after my visits. Oh! And she smiled! Was super friendly and positive! I didn t choose the apartments I saw with her and CLV group I opted for a totally different neighbourhood but what I saw on MacLaren and at some of their other properties I checked out on my own was well maintained, clean and the grounds were all beautifully landscaped.
Ive had some negative experiences with the company. I would not recommend them. They dont care about their tenants. All they care about is the paycheck. I would recommend going with a mom and pop landlord as they have shown no compasion or any care that the parking lot and side walks have not been salted properly, and my PREGNANT fiance has fallen multiple times, including myself.. Just disregarding it, and when we try to get her out of the apartment and into a better living conditions (a house) they have no compassion to let us break our lease for the baby. If all you like smelling is cigarettes and marijuana. This is the place for you. I hope my child wont have any disabilities due to the poor living conditions during the pregnancy. Im trying to get my child out, so it can be healthy. A company full of robots. That care about the $$$, and nothing else.
The CLV group was very helpful in locating an apartment. We are very happy with the location, and with the quality of the apartment we share. Have fun, and take care!
I was looking for a place to rent in Sandy Hill and went for a viewing of a one bedroom at 485 King Edward with my girlfriend. The agent was quick with calling me back. The apartment was really nice, and actually looked like the photos online, unlike the first one we saw on Stewart and Friel. We ended up renting nearby because somebody rented the apartment before we made up our mind.
The people working for CLV are very knowledgeable and very helpful. and very accommodating. They wanted us to see all the different layouts that would fit the budget. It made my clients decision very easy. The building is in good shape and very clean and presentable, and CLV will continue to improve it. Good experience that ended up with my clients renting.
