I wanted to thank the ER and Cardiac staff for all...
I wanted to thank the ER and Cardiac staff for all their help. You helped me be better and understand my situation. Thank You. I only dropped a star because food was yucky.

Everyone here was great! I'd recommend this hospital to anyone! The staff in the ER was friendly and caring. The surgical team was amazing and the care I received afterwards was great!! My nurse even took great care of my mom who spent the night with me in the hospital. Great doctors, nurses, care and food!!
My wife was admitted around 12 pm, they told her about 5 times you should have a room ready for her in an hour, its now 9 PM with no such room. She is pregnant and stuck in their triage room all night because they cant find a room to monitor her blood pressure. I called the nurse to request a room and she thought she put me hold and then proceeded to bad talk me and wife, when I told her I could hear her she got very defensive and rude. This hospital is not functional and you should avoid at all costs.
I can not support due to unsupported misguided false health claims that put public health at risk
Was there about three years I had a bad motorcycle wreck in Laramie this hospital and staff were amazing you all were super woudwoul want to go anywhere else thank you very much
They were just great with my daughters family awsome with the newborn!!!
A very serious bite to my left knee from Pit Bull. I can't find one bad thing to say about the treatment I received at CRMC. Very professional Staff in the ER to say the least. I believe that they probably saved my knee. They even called me at home days later to see how I was healing, you won't that in a big city. Thanks CRMC for being there when I needed help.
Took the time to figure out what was wrong with me.
Both my wife and myself have had nothing but first class treatment during our stay and surgeries here in the CRMC. Much has changed under the new CEO. There is a determined effort to face up to and overcome the many shortcomings that have been evident over many years. We both feel that this desire to be honest and admit where there are failings and to be empowered to address them has ensured that the CRMC has made enormous strides in their ability to offer a first class service to all.
After a 9 day stay my wife if able would have awarded a Gold Star to every person that had in any way contributed to ensuring her say was the best that there could be. Well done to all!
My husband just left the emergency room with 146/96 blood pressure oxygen level of only 90 he couldn t breathe and they sent him away saying there was nothing they can do. You best believe if something happens to him they will hear from my lawyer for sure!!!!!!
Waiting in emergency room for a hour and a half and when we were seen they hadn't done basic steps to check the problem had to wait another hour...vould have stayed home and been in pain at my own house at least...staff was nice at least whenever we finally saw them
Horrifying experience. Please explore other options. Please. Please. Please.
This hospital is ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC, the staff was rude, the billing department is EVEN WORSE. I would rather drive all the way to Fort Collins for care then go to Cheyenne Regional, worst experience in medical care.
In the ER, I have had a handful of amazing doctors, nurses and techs. It is a hit and miss on what kind of doctor, nurse or tech you will get. I have chronic pain and I get treated like a pill seeker. I dread going to this place! They need to work on their bedside manner. If you are a nurse, doctor or tech here and you have no bedside manner, please go back to school. I'm also sure they have customer service for dummies. If I'm dying I would rather stay home. Thanks CRMC that's how alot of people feel here, along with you guys are jokes. Administration and billing are also very rude.
Worst ER ever ,been here almost 3 hrs still in the waiting room unbelievable
I ve had to visit SkyRidge Hospital in Lone Tree Co a couple of times in the past 4 years..
A modern, state of the art Facility..
I was a bit apprehensive when I had to be rushed to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center last week very ill .. that the Quality of Care and Facility wouldn t compare..
I was Absolutely Wrong..!!!!
The Care I received from ER and being admitted was FANTASTIC..
From Dr Selby, to my Entire Care Team were Great.. On a CSI review that goes to 10,, they all deserve At least an 11 +.... Fact is .. THEY REALLY CARE .....and the Facility is Top Notch..
I m Very Grateful To All
This was the worst hospital experience in my life. Went with my mother and stepfather to the ER to check for a blood clot. When we sat down in the waiting room, we were told that there shouldn't be too long of a wait. My mother wasn't checked for 3 hours. When she was checked in, we were told that she'd be out in about 20 minutes. She wasn't out for an hour. I noticed that the doctor that was taking care of her wasn't even in her room most of the time. The doctor was chatting with other staff. When she finally came back, we were taken to another room. The doctor asked if we needed anything else, so my mother asked for a warm blanket. So, the doctor went to get it, but never came back. We were greeted by another doctor and then left for another 3 hours. We realized that it was now 5:00 AM. They finally gave my mother an I.V and then left for another hour. That's when we asked for the I.V to be taken out so we could leave.
If you have an emergency be prepared to be treated like crap...being hospitals are businesses you'd think they have some kind of guidelines for compassionate employees...not here!...the only compassion my daughter saw was in the pediatric unit...the emergency room only care's about their coffee and talking about their highlights outside my pregnant daughters room as she was vomiting for the 7th hour with no pain medication...someone in administration really needs to get involved and screen your employees
Hawley was the worst nurse I have ever dealt with. I should have not been yelled at for asking a question about a test that I didn't need and trying to say that I DIDN'T HAVE HEART PAIN. If there was a choice between this hospital and another no doubt in my mind that I would choose the other option. Everything else was the same as always just average. If you don't want to help people find a different job, very disappointing.
The worst hospital in Wyoming. Took my 9 month old son to the ER and there was dried blood on the ground left of the bed and they did not even bother to clean it when I told them.
On another occasion I went in to see a specialist and he said I had prostate cancer, turned out it was just a pulled muscle in my lower abdomen.
When you try to call anyone about insurance questions that relate to them, they ll just give you the run around in hopes you ll quit calling and try to steal your money.
When I personally was in for stomach issues, they ran multiple tests they had already ran, that I told them not to and then charged me like crazy. More in money than it was the first time.
Criminal of you ask me. Go to Colorado or anywhere else in Wyoming. Not CRMC! This place doesn t even deserve one star!
I had surgery with the best caring doctor ever Dr. Wyatt. The nursing staff was very professional, took care of me in the best way. My 5 night stay was not bad at all. I am proud of our hospital.
It is 5:24 in the morning. I have been in the waiting room here since 11:30 last night. I jave seen the waiting room empty and fill 3 times. This is the worst hospital i have ever been to. Save your money for urgent care. This place is a joke.
If 0 stars was an option, I would have chosen it. This is NOT a hospital, it is a business. No money? Then they do not care, unless you are dying.
Most incompitent group of idiots ever in one place I might be just a paramedic but ain't stupid there standard of care is mid evil at best they rather be politicians than physians
Everyone should be treated with care no matter what insurance or not they can find a way to pay it by there job or there insurance at work but treat them
Avoid this place if you can. ANY ONE MILITARY AVOID THIS PLACE. I make my payments every month 2x a month. On a plan. I asked someone in person if that was ok. She said yes as long as payments are made. I get a phone call stating it's not on a payment plan. Seriously I just asked that. Also they now want my debit card or send me to collections. I guess send me to collections when I made my payment. Terrible non honest place. Your getting your money 2x a month but that is not good enough. Not to mention when I got the work done the surgeon was upset because they wrapped the wound but did not clean it or anything. Gave me a fake cast that again he said was not needed.
Services rendered are average at best. RN did blood pressure of 12 yr old with cuff over a large coat which register at 140ish/110ish and said everything looked good. Saw a NP but got billed for out of network attending MD. But the real problem is the incompetent billing department. We verified billing information before leaving, never heard from them, called and asked what we owed and told zero balance, then got a collection call from third party. We called CRMC billing and they claimed to have mailed and called...we never received them. They have our phone numbers and verified accuracy. We've repeatedly asked for current amount due...paid it current...and then magically something for same service appears but gets sent to collection without CRMC notifying us. I wish I could hold their hand for them but not sure that would help. Seems like the billing, and to a greater extent the whole place, is poorly managed and run. Sure there are good people there, but when you don't communicate with me to pay my bill how am I to know. I want to pay my bill whenever I have one. Hopefully a decent organization will buy the group out and Cheyenne will have decent services with CRMC.
I've had several experiences with this building's administration. All of them are negative. Some of the staff are very good, and I hope they move on to better places. That said, their documentation is inaccurate at best and downright fraudulent at worst. I've caught them in lies frequently, something as little as the length of an appointment to saying that a doctor saw someone when they absolutely did not (in this instance every person entering the room was asked if they were one, each confirmed they were a nurse)
The administration never admits a mistake was made or looks into anything further until legal action is threatened. Avoid using this place at all costs. Colorado has better for less.
Terrible terrible would rather die before going here again. Was in ER for couple hours they ran a test gave me a prescription said see an ENT doctor and collected over 4000 from my insurance and 1200 from me. And if that isn't bad enough now they are screwing up my billing harassing me saying I need to pay when I already have. They send no receipts showing you paid.Threaten to send you to collections even though they are wrong. But keep remodeling so you can keep charging ridiculous fees and continue ripping us citizens off unfairly.Great work crmc.
If you want to get robbed go here. Came in with $197 in my pocket and left with $0!!!! The staff is nothing but a bunch of thieves. You expect to get helped, but they steal from you too!!!!
I personally will be driving to Fort Collins/Denver unless i feel like i am dying. My personal experiences here have been extremely unsatisfactory. I went in in October with a concussion and they were super rude because i was unsure of my surroundings and could barely speak. I was there for 9 hours. When i should have left after 5. Then i came in with a extremely mild sprain in my left knee (i had to go just to return to work). And it took 2 hours to be brought back and 3 hours for 3 xrays. I was told they were in a shift change however every nurse/doctor was the exact same ones i dealt with prior to said shift change. Every staff member is extremely rude even whenever im being as physically nice as possible. The doctor on my second visit walked in and rudely said youre fine. Leave
The is the worst hospital I have been to in my whole life. As for personal care it is all automated and you can't ask a question and getting access to results of tests is made very difficult with no option to leave the hospital with info. Go somewhere else it will be hundreds of dollars cheeper.
I'm just saying that they have a good medical service.
Don t like it here one bit, I d rather go to Denver, Nebraska, or VAMC as a disabled veteran.
This place is the single worst medical facility I've ever been too. If you can avoid it DO SO AT ALL COSTS. They overcharge you just as any medical facility will. I was charged over 1,000 dollars to sit for four hours and be given pain medication once, which I didn't even ask for. Also most of the employees in the ER are a joke and don't give a damn about their patients or why they're there
I feel the hospital has improved their care and customer service in the last two months.
NOTE: This review is specifically regarding the "Mother/Baby Unit"
My wife recently delivered our first baby here. We can not say enough about how great the nurses are in this department. Between a long labour, and our baby being a bit sick after birth, we were in the unit four nights. Every nurse we had, went out of their way to make both of us (and our baby once it was born) comfortable. They encouraged us when we were down, did a great job taking care of my wife, and we're generally kind people. An example is: after the baby was born, it was too late to order any room service. The CNA that helped with the delivery went down to the cafeteria and brought my wife up some food. To me, this is above and beyond what is required.
The only reason this review lost one star, is because of the equipment/rooms. There was peeling paint in the bathroom, the air conditioning didn't work on the labour room, and the brakes on the bed didn't hold so it kept sliding around. I hope the hospital will invest in updating and remolding this floor soon, and they will have a five star labour facility.
Wife had to go here for an emergency after going to her personal doctor about an issue. Spent 9 hours in the ER before they came back and confirmed exactly what her personal doctor suggested was the issue. Nurses and tech in the ER were busy chatting and flirting the majority of the time we were there. I looked up the doctor who was present when we got there and found some stuff for licensing that stated he must attend substance abuse counseling...what? Anyway, when he left, things finally starting moving along. The surgeon who came to talk to my wife seemed a little looping and we seriously thought about checking out and going to Fort Collins but didn't want to risk going through the same thing. again. Surgery went fine and she is all well. The hospitality lady in the ER was great, she checked in on my wife every hour and provided toys for our young children. She made the experience doable for sure!
HORRIBLE! Without notifying me, they sent my bill to a collection agency, even after they had agreed to allow me to pay $100 monthly and I had faithfully paid that amount every month! I owed $200, which I wanted to pay off today, so I called the billing dept to let them know I never received my last bill, and would go online and pay it off. But when I called the agent advised me my bill was sent to a collection agency! OMG! They never contacted me at all that they planned to do this! What a dishonest bunch of people that work there. My family quit going here because billing is constantly messing up on our dr visits (ex: said we never paid a $500 dr bill after I had a canceled check proving we did. took months to clear it up), and they overcharged me on 2 regular doctor visits (was a nurse practitioner and she charged me a whopping $286 per visit). Go to Colorado for healthcare.
This is the best hospitol I have ever stayed in. I was travelling on I 80 when I had to have emergency surgery. The surgeon was great, the doctors was great, the nurses and CNA's was very professional and cheerful. The food and selection tasted very good. If you need a hospitol this is the place.
By far THE most RUDEST and disrespectful staff I've ever encountered. Speaking of one admissions clerk and the phlebotomist in their lab.
My visit on 6-21-19 the phlebotomist doing my blood draw went right through one vein and made a left hand turn to chase another. Her whole attitude about it was extremely condescending and indifferent.
Today's visit almost almost caught me a case when the admissions clerk decided I wasn't allowed to ask questions about my billing let alone expect an answer.
And if her questions aren't answered the to her satisfaction she will interrupt you, MANIPULATE and ESCALATE the situation to serve her diabolical ends.
With both events I requested a patient advocate to file a grievance and was denied.
Always overbill, make fraudulent claims to your insurance, and lie to your face with a smile, great place!
I very much dislike our Hospital here in Cheyenne the staff sucks to say the least. The Dr's are very uncaring and do not look out for your best interest at all
Customer service is poor at best, non-existent for the most part. Support/Admin staff are grossly incompetent and largely have no idea what s even going on in their areas of operation. The computer system used as patient charts does little more than record data and pop up up-sell options for unnecessary tests, scans, etc. Highly disappointed in the level of health care available in Cheyenne... next time I ll go to my Vet!
I would rather risk my life driving to denver to get help then to have to go to this hospital. What a horrible place
The worst experience at the ER ever went in for a bee sting cuz I am allergic. We get in pretty quickly but once the nurse ALAINA tried to do an IV on my arm she blew out one of my viens and missed multiple times causing my arm to bleed and bruise. The bee sting was on the other arm near were you get an IV so she put the IV right on top of my bee sting causing me more pain. I can't believe they just let anybody give you an IV. I think they need to improve on there hiring and training cuz that was the worst.
I went in a couple weeks ago and was treated poorly. They sent me home saying I must have only had gas. Here I am two weeks later with an emergency surgery for my appendix. I'm just so glad I was in Wheatland at the time and didn't have to have surgery at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. They lack compassion and understanding for the patients they work with.
Few weeks ago I went to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. I requested ONE lab test, but Jennifer Favilla, FNP ordered TWO (and they used the same sample). I never realized until I got the bill. They rejected to fixed my bill and told me to talk to the nurse who ordered the tests. Jennifer never responded my calls, my voicemails or changed the mistake. This is literally STEALING. If you don t want to lose your money, DO NOT GO to this place.
My doctor admitted me for unable to thrive/ adult. They just fed me full of food and let me out in less than 24 hours with the same dagnosis. Doctors were nice but, The nurses were not
The ED was such an amazing experience. I had a complication shortly after giving birth. I was treated quickly and with amazing respect. The provider, nurses and techs all listened to me and took my complaints seriously. I was taking care of with dignity and able to get home to my new baby quickly. Extremely impressed.
Loved the curtousy of everyone. Been to er twice. Awesome staff nurses. Helped me every possible way financialy.
I'm not going to say I love it, but it is a great place.
The nursing staff is the saving grace of this place and the only reason I give it as much as two stars. For the doctors, I'm guessing Cheyenne is where you can still practice medicine when you graduated in the bottom half of your medical school class and/or something bad happened where you were before. Every local that has a car and a choice goes to Colorado for medical care.
Good people who really care about their patients. I had Terra and Warren and they were absolutely wonderful.
The hospital is unbelievable. Their billing is so messed up. We have been in contact for years on our bill with this hospital and I have been making consistent payments so when the new company for billing took over they didn't take the old bills they just sent them to collections. And said they couldn't help me. Unbelievable. I will never set foot in that hospital so unprofessional. and I will recommend going to Colorado to all my friends and family.
I had same day surgery here. I thought the care they provided was good. The nurses were really nice, and everybody was very helpful. The reason I only gave 2 stars was because when the nurse unfolded the "clean" blanket that was on my bed, it was full of somebody else's blood and even had a dried up blood filled piece of gauze in there. It was really gross. The nurse then told me that they have a cleaning service who cleans the blankets, and "this happens all the time"
This is the last thing I would expect to see in a hospital!!! very unsanitary!!
The nurses where not taking there time and patience with my wife. She is 38 weeks pregnant. We asked to live because we did not want to be here no more. We are thinking of next time going to the hospital in Greeley Colorado then here. It is 12:42 am Feb 15 ,2018.
If I could give them a zero I would. Brought our daughter in with stomach pains - her white cells weren t up so assumed it was not appendix. Loaded her full of stuff and sent us home. Back in less than 12 hours and I get to sit in the waiting room for hours on end. This place is ridiculous. They also held my daughter down to administer an IV. There needs to be quality care for pediatrics here - but hopefully another hospital will provide that.
This place is proof of the "C's still get degrees" mentality.
It's the only one in town, so they have no reason to improve.
I would give them zero stars if I could. Just about Every interaction with them has been horrible; from delivery of my child to having to deal with paying them. They messed up with billing and could not have been anymore unhelpful to try and fix their mistakes. I've had to go to the ER in the past, unfortunately, and that was an awful experience as well. I'd rather drive an hour out of my way than to deal with them.
this Hospital is a joke. Come to er and my poor wife is screaming in pain and there is just no since of ergency. She was rolled back for a cat scan and ask a nurse for help with her feet because she is in excruciating pain and had eyes rolled at her. The absolute slowest unprofessional worst care in Wyoming. People are right go to Colorado unless you feel like death is upon you. We will but unfortunately sometimes there s no time so you come here and the service and care is the same. It s to bad that this place is allowed to treat people the way they do.
I had to be in this hospital for four nights, it was the four worst nights of my life, it fell I was in a state penitentiary the staff is not correctly trained some nurses or cna don't know how to talk or deal with the patients. A whole day passes without anyone coming to your room and if you call the nurses station for help most of the time the person who answers the phone sounded disturbed, hopefully you will get some help for your need if you keep calling. During the night is a different story they can keep you up all night they woke me up at 4am just to put me on a scale to check my weight or another time had to take a shower at 4am again because I had a procedure at 12:30pm. eight and a half hours before. Also I wasn't happy at all when two hours after my procedure while I was recovering the hospitalist Dr. Chada came to my room to tell me that I should be going home in a little while I don't know what he was thinking but I informed him that after the procedure I wasn't ready to go nowhere. I assume he wasn't familiar with the procedure I just had. Jessica and David were the best Nurses very caring polite, professionals and knowledgeable individuals, I wish the hospital had more people like those two young people. Unfortunately Cheyenne regional hospital is the only full hospital in Wyoming and you have no choice but to come here in an emergency but this doesn't stop them of improving their service to the people of Wyoming with respect. At this point I would like to thank Dr. Khan for his precious services who is one of the jewels of the Cheyenne medical center in the cardiovascular field thank you so much again Mr. Muhammad Asad Amir Khan! One important last thing their food sucks just like every other hospital. You can tell that their food has been prepared by unhappy people who unfortunately got a job here.
Been in the ER with my wife for over 5 hours and the only thing that has occurred is an ultrasound without any indication of possible cause.
My husband had to spend almost a week in this hospital.. Being from Texas this hospital was by far the best hospital we ever been to.. Nicest people ever! & very professional!
I wish I could give zero stars. Dr. Leduc nearly cost me my life. If you ever are told to see Leduc... GET OUT! He prescribes psychotropic drugs without warning, lies about what medicine does, and convinces you that you're the crazy one.
I waited 5 hours to speak with a doctor about potential blood clotting. After all of this they wanted me to wait additional time to run 3 separate tests. Nursing staff was unorganized and the biggest waste of my time. I will not make the mistake of visiting this hospital again.
After waiting hours I was left in a room poked 3 times because they didn t administer an iv , asked for a pillow (no pillow or blanket) and was told it was a hot commodity I may not get one.... What the actual hell is going on in this hospital ??? I don t feel like the staff really took the time to find out what was wrong with me now I am going to Colorado
Poor - fair is not the proper rating for this so called hospital. Unfortunatly it was the lowest rating this system allows for. I had heard horror stories about how bad this hospital was and avoided it at every opportunity. I had injured myself in a bike accident and waited for the next day to go to a small homeless clinic that actually cares about helping people. There they insisted that I go to the hospital emergency room as they felt that I needed treatment the clinic couldn't provide. After arguing I did finally go to the hospital emergency room, against my better judgment. The horror stories did not accurately describe just how bad this "hospital" actually is. The hospital refused to provide service to me due to my inability to pay. They would not accept my reference from the homeless clinic and insisted I had to agree to pay them whatever they wanted or they would send me out with an open wound. They made all kinds of threats and told me about how I would lose my leg to infection and everything. They did not accept that I could not pay and were extremely beligerant. They did finally at least give me minor treatment and put a bandage back on the wound but continued to threaten me about how I would be back with an infection and have to pay them even more. The homeless clinic nurse was also very disgusted with my treatment, that I never received proper care. As if that wasn't enough now this worthless hospital is demanding a huge chunk of money from me that they already know I can't and won't pay and have continued to make personal threats. All for treatment they refused to give me in the first place. All this and they have a sign in the lobby that reads "This hospital can not refuse service to anyone regardless of their ability to pay". This is not a legitimate hospital, it is an orginaize crime ring and a scam. Stay away from this place, they will destroy your life. Go to Health Reach instead.
I told them I was experiencing an allergic reaction, my throat was all swelled up and I could hardly brearh. They made me wait in the waiting room for an hour to be seen. While not even checking my throat. Then once I got back there, they made me wait another couple of hours before they even came to see me, and still didn t even look at my throat.
I went in for a kidney infection earlier in the week and they treated it great. On another note the Doctors are very vague with your treatment and letting you know what is going on. After treating a kidney infection they saw i was having an irregular heart rhythm and automatically said i needed a pace maker. I left to a different hospital and they have said i am perfectly fine and a pace maker is overreacting. Do not recommend this hospital.
If you go in needing just stitches, you ll come out in a casket.
All my Dr's and Nurses were the best ever. The level of care I received was top notch! Would definitely recommend this hospital to friends and family.
I am in orth/neur floor and the staff have been above and beyond fantastic. PT/OT have been in and very helpful. PICC/MIDLINE team excellent. THE nurses and cnas busy as they are just amazing. I feel very lucky to have gotten these amazing people over my care.
You re the reason I went bankrupt. Recently I ve been hearing ads for your hospital where it says We inspire great health. That is some shocking truth in advertising, because I would rather die than ever willingly go back to this awful hospital.
Sadly I can't recommend anybody in healthcare when they buy into moral panic and lies rather than science that can save lives.
I wouldn't even rate them one star. Billing department is a joke. Paid them $5,280 for services rendered in full from a settlement. In return, they reimbursed me $1356 and wrote me a letter admitting that they overcharged me. They then came back 4 months later and told me I owed them $1400 then it was $2800 and then it was another amount. I disputed their department and they sent me to collections. Disputed collections and proved I paid in full. Neither collections nor the hospital has contacted me back in months. I received a call earlier today from BCServices alleging I owe $3000 and that CRMC had started on a new billing system. I told them I had proof of payment and proof of reimbursement and they told me that my only issue was that I didn't like the answers I was getting and I said CRMC is crooked and greedy. I have a job and it isn't to do yours. When I make a payment and you reimburse me, I believe our business is done. They said that is not how it works. I said then BYE! To add to this, I was in a severe car accident and sat in the "Fast Track" room for 7 hours before they finally came in and checked out my lacerations, wounds and pain. I was in my car accident at 3 pm and by 10 pm they had finally "got around' to me. I'll be filing a lawsuit for fraud before I take another phone call from them.
Just seeing the care that they gave my great grandmother while she was here was just fenominal. The nursing staff was polite and upbeat as well as professional. Thank you to the cheyenne regional medical center.
I went in this morning and I got to give them 5 stars for my visit. First off the waiting time to get in a room was fast. I'm from New Mexico, and just to get in the back is a long wait. They put me in a room with a bed and tv, pretty decent. New Mexico you won't get this either, New Mexico is 10 times busier and that is a fact and that is everyday. The customer service was great nurse came I'm and checked me didn't know what it was but they ran test to find out. Got the doctor to come in and take a look and she was awesome she knew right away. They gave me medicine and I walked out feeling Better instantly. It took about four hours for a ear infection but I'm so glad they helped and was great.
The staff was friendly, caring, and most of all professional. My hospital stay was a good experience. Thank you all at CRWC!
There very rude in the er an then my better half found a dirty glove on the bed i was on
an im still in pain..no im not a pill popper been in pain for weeks very unprofessional.
my partner was stationed in the Air Force in Cheyenne. If I had any other option but to go to this hospital, I would. They genuinely don t know what they re doing and will make you run around until they figure it out. First of all, I had to get an IV and it took nurses and phlebotomists about right times to do it and I was covered in bruises because of them. Second of all, the billing employees cover their tracks by copying and pasting a script of what they tel people on the phone which counters what they actually tell people. For a persona example, I fully paid a bill and I consistently made small payments when I could because at the time I didn t have a job due to moving and just giving birth, not once did they disclose that because I didn t set up a formal payment plan that they would send me to collections. I paid the balance in full one to two months after I initially told them about my situation and somehow I still receive a letter from a collection agency for a bill paid in full. They literally don t pay attention to what they re doing and Claim to send letters that they actually don t when they have the correct addresses on file. They like to play dumb. In the number of months I was stuck in Cheyenne, I saw so many people outside of this hospital protesting their unethical behavior and for the fact that their partners refuse to give medical documentation. I also know that people have had to be flown out of state to receive treatment because some of the doctors are incompetent. Honestly, if you can get out of this place leave as soon as you can. Don t get treatment here.
This hospital and its board members need to overhaul the care received here. This towns medical is a joke, at least make the hospital better.
They wouldn't let me pay remotely for a physical appointment for my dad.
They refused service. This is unfortunate because I live in another state which makes it hard to take care of him.
After being admitted in an emergency situation, I will say that doctors and nurses preformed competently. Unfortunately, at the end of the day, after threats to send me to collections , I am paying as slowly as possible out of pocket for covered service and providing a negative review of the whole organization because an inept coder protected by a hostile receptionist doesn't know how to do the job. Hospital billing staff I dealt with blamed "the system" while blocking access to decision and policy makers. The bill for an overnight stay of observation was 13,000.00. After 4 months of trying to resolve billing with multiple calls to insurance and the Dr., it is clear that whoever codes these things at the hospital is unaccountable, inaccessible and inept. The insurance company benefits advisor explained that services were covered in this circumstance and spent significant effort conveying this to the hospital. The hospital blamed the Dr. Office for incorrect coding, but the Dr. Office stated the hospital does the coding. When the insurance company is more helpful than the hospital, that pretty much says it all. One coder and a receptionist hold all the power. No checks and balances here that I can find.
Got questions about body infections they can answer.
This place is so incompetent I'd be scared to go back. Ken & Samantha in billing can't do their jobs. Ken was snooty, judgmental, and apparently didn't deal with 'financials' even though he's in billing. He was rude and couldn't read previous notes on my account without telling me everything was my fault to begin with. After reading his notes, he then admitted CRMC was at fault after actually reading my file. Samantha (who I spoke with in February) lied when we sent up a payment plan, saying I could pay more than what I agreed too ($100 a month). When I asked for proof of me agreeing to this, Ken (ever the helpful person) said he can only go off of the notes SHE provided, and theres no recording of this conversation Sam and I had, only her "notes". Because apparently they don't record calls even though they're in 2018. Ken sucks. Cheyenne Regional is horrible. I'd get more help setting up a payment plan from a sack of potatoes. And apparently their boss Dean was okay with all these mistakes they made, improperly sending me to collections before I even made my first payment, and not setting up the correct monthly billing amount.
This was my first visit to the ED in several years, after visiting a local Urgent care facility in Cheyenne- I am not one to go to the DR unless I am in severe pain or have an issue that could become life threatening- We were checked in promptly and I was taken back to a room within 30 minutes- I was honest about which medications I am taking and how much pain I was in- They ordered blood work and X-rays to see if my infected foot had spread to the bones - My blood pressure was very high due to the intense pain I was experiencing- The Doctor (N.Moore) was very prompt and professional and made me feel at ease ! He put me on a stronger antibiotic and reassured me ! My only complaint is this - The Opiate crisis was fueled by Doctors and the Pharmaceutical companies !
I see a HUGE knee jerk reaction when it comes to treating pain now! I understand that people can and will become addicted, and why practitioners are hesitant to prescribe narcotic pain medication- However, the patient s are the one s suffering in many cases . Why even have pain charts on the wall if you re not going to listen or believe what your patient s are telling you ? It went from RECKLESS OVER PRESCRIBING, to not addressing severe pain - I was over prescribed in the past and am all too aware of the addictive nature of Opiates! My worry is this .... When people are in severe pain all they want is relief ! I have been sober for over 10 years, alcohol was my drug of choice - When a week of taking Tylenol and Advil around the clock isn t working and I end up in the ED I would expect the provider to address it in a safe responsible manner! When it s not ,you jeopardize people s sobriety! Those suffering are going to look to illicit relief ! Thank God I didn t pick up a drink but it did cross my mind several times!
- I don t enjoy feeling that way nor looking for other ways to address my pain that are illegal ! You all need to figure this out and listen to those you care for - I am always forthcoming about my health and my history- I found it amusing ,almost ironic that the one time I genuinely needed Opiate pain medication , I couldn t get any! My foot is getting better slowly and the pain has subsided! Hopefully I will not have to return to the ED or Urgent care anytime soon- I appreciate the care I received! I think it s great that providers are weary of prescribing Opiates for minor to moderate pain! However , please know that it s very disconcerting when you re in pain and need more than OTC medication to address it! It feels like they look at anyone who is in severe pain as an active drug addict or someone who is there only to score drugs! If these medications are not going to be given to those who need them ,then they should take them off the market! Overprescribing and responsible prescribing are two different things -
Doesn't even deserve one star!!! This hospital is horrible....
