The ER doesn t have the best service, but I can say that the doctors and surgeons along with the nursing staff is amazing. They truly cared for my son after a tragic motor vehicle accident. They gave the best service and truly cared about his recovery!

This hospital participates in medical neglect. This is what happened to my friend and her husband.

Update :The neurologist was removed from the case- but apparently they don t have another one to take over.

No PLEX treatment today.
The neurologist from yesterday didn t think nick was getting any benefits from it. He doesn t understand ADEM- nicks attack have reduced from multiples a day to maybe one or two a day. He needs to complete the full 7 rounds, as planned by the previous neurologist (and a neurologist who has treated nick in the past)

This is medical neglect. This is ego inflation and lack of knowledge on the complexity of this case.

We are waiting to hear back from an attorney.

And patient relations hasn t returned any phone calls or shown up.

Really bad experience with this clinic and I never even made it to see the obgyn. I called to schedule an appointment because i found out I m pregnant so they scheduled me with their financial counselor to register for the pregnancy. When I got there They said she was running later so we had to wait over an hour past our appointment time before being seen. I had that appointment on 11/15/17 on 11/27/17 I called because I hadn t heard anything from them to schedule my first prenatal visit. I was told to give them 2 business days and someone would call me to schedule me (Idk why she couldn t just schedule me). Well, two business days later and I have yet to hear anything from them. Don t waste your time with this clinic I wasn t the only patient that day waiting over an hour past their appointment time.

In 2003 I had major surgery here. Pain management provided me with the peace of mind that I was in good hands after a prior doctor in San Antonio (Dr. Boddie) had told me its going to feel like a train rolled over you. I had a total removal of my large intestine due to multiple pre-cancerous polyps. A "J" pouch was recomended and was performed. After 3 signficant surgeries and 16 years later I am here texting you this message. I am glad I took the advise of my surgeon here at Scott and White who recommended the "J" pouch rather than what the doctor from San Antonio had suggested. He suggested the total removal of the colon. If I would have taken the advise, I would have had to wear an ileostomy pouch for the rest of my life, I am glad my surgeon here at Scott and White advised otherwise. I'm living a happy life today and cancer free.

Came in with a friend who s OBGYN sent her into the ER for because of a possible miscarriage and we have been in the waiting room 4hrs if it was a miscarriage they basically said they don t care about the baby. Really says something about the medical staff here.

Had an 11:00a.m appointment and was told to be there by 10:45a.m. Got to the clinic at 10:40 and hadn't been seen still at 11:40. This has happened twice. When asked when they where going to see me, the excuse I got was they are waiting for a room to open. So the 23 people who showed up after me, yes I counted and even overhead one girl was scheduled for an 11, wait 10 minutes and went back. Had absolutely no issue getting a room. The doctor I had is great. But unless you have nothing else planned for the day I wouldn't recommend

My husband had surgery today. My gripe is with bad communication with the family. His surgery went quicker than normal. I received texts to notify me when surgery had started, when it was complete, and when he had been moved to recovery. Typical recovery for general anesthesia seems to be 30 min to an hour. I even gave some extra cush time before I started fretting after my husband. 2 hours and 40 minutes after he was moved to recovery I finally went to the desk to ask the status. The woman made a call and told me he was waiting on post-op to come get him and bring him back down. Then she told me to go wait in the same room he went thru pre-op in. After another grueling 50 minutes of waiting and worrying I went to the surgery desk and asked them to please find my husband. He was in another room. No one told the family! And turns out recovery wasn t so smooth for my husband. They had issues with stopping the bleeding. Someone should of informed me what was going on. Scott and White definitely has a breakdown in communication with patient family members. I also want to thank the staff who should of been keeping me abreast of my husband s well being for all the added STRESS!

My husband went to the ER this morning with fever, cold chills, body aches, cough the works.. we get there he checks in take him back get his vitals comes back to the waiting area.. 30 minutes later or so he gets called back for them just to tell him there ain t anything wrong with him and recheck his vitals, and tell him they don t have any way to check for flu... registrar comes in tells my husband it s almost 300 dollars for his visit.. ok 300 dollars for nothing, no mouth swab, no test ran or anything.. oh and he did mention to them he was in contact with people at work that have been sick..

My daughter was brought to ER at Scott and White. ...

My daughter was brought to ER at Scott and White. They decided to transfer to her to another hospital ( 15. Minutes away) because my daughter s insurance is not in their net work. Instead of calling the ambulance that in network with my daughter insurance, they called their own ambulance which is not in network with my daughter insurance and billed her 1250 dollars. Because their ambulance is not in the network with my daughter insurance, her insurance only paid 25% of it, and SW ambulance billed the balance of 800 dollars to my daughter. Although my daughter has explained the unfair situation to both SW patient relation, and SW ambulance, they offered no help with the bill. My daughter is a student full time and doesn t have that kind of money to pay for unfair and unexpected bill. She also has mental illness. . As a result, SW ambulance send her account to collection department. SW was the one who called their ambulance to transport her to another hospital, knowing their ambulance is not in her insurance network!!!! Yet, they refused to help her with the bill and send her account to collections This is very wrong because due to their mistakes, a young student now in debts , and because of their greeds, her credit is ruined and her mental illness is getting worse due to stress of having to deal with this mess caused by the hospital

Arrived for my appointment at 3:25. The Bsw app has an e-check in option, so I chose to do that. Waited around for over 30 minutes when finally I went up to the desk and asked if I was going to be seen. The receptionist told me the e-check in doesn t actually check you in and they counted me as a no show. The app didn t state that at all, I m confused why the e-check in is an option if you re still having to check-in in the front or why it s not clarified on the app. Dr. Said I had to reschedule and the next appointment wasn t until weeks away after I d already waited weeks for this appointment. Just a really frustrating situation.

This place has been a horrible experience for myse...

This place has been a horrible experience for myself and my husband. I was pregnant back in December of last year. Despite spotting and being very concerned about the pregnancy, they would not get me in to even set a first appointment until I'd done "financial councelling" basically them getting you to sign a document saying how much money you will owe from the whole process. They dont even take the time to confirm pregnancy. They just say "you took a test at home that's all we need to get you to make a $1000 good faith payment." I continued to start bleeding and have problems after my first appointment, but no one would see me despite calling in multiple times. When I did miscarry at 12 weeks, I had not seen my doctor once and ended up with a massive ER bill.

Fast forward to being pregnant again. I already had an appointment set with my doctor which they canceled because "now that I'm pregnant it's not the same appointment." Instead we have to start over with new financial counseling before we can set an appointment. Oh with the nurse, again, no doctor. When I called, they absolutely refused to let me keep the appointment I had scheduled with my doctor.

So to make a long story short. If you could care less if anyone cares about you or your child, this is the place to go. If you want to call and be given the run around time and time again, I would definitely go here. But if you actually care about yourself and your future child, go anywhere else.

I ve had nothing but great experiences at this loc...

I ve had nothing but great experiences at this location. The staff and nurses are always polite and friendly. I ve only ever had to wait past my appointment time once to do the financial paperwork. So far I ve never had to wait to see my doctor. Though I m sure it s bound to happen at some point since he s in the baby-delivery business. Overall, I m very happy with the clinic and highly recommend it!

Had a great experience at this clinic. Check-in process went smoothly and all of the women I interacted with at the front desk were very hospitable. I was treated well by everyone here and they made me feel comfortable. The wait and appointment time was very reasonable.

Make sure you know all the Terms and codes of thei...

Make sure you know all the Terms and codes of their billing systems or else you will be ripped of and completely screwed even if you have great health insurance and pay everything on time. Thank you, Scott and White, for taking not only my insurance company s money, but also forcing my family to pay for doctors appts, that are 100% covered under my insurance, out of my pocket. I will never go here again.

I couldn't be more thankful and pleased with the care during my hospital stay. Doctors were amazing and nurses as well. I can't say this about other Scott and White hospital locations but Temple was beyond my expectations.

My wife and I have had an absolutely horrible expe...

My wife and I have had an absolutely horrible experience with this clinic. Our experience with this clinic started last year when my wife found out she was pregnant. We were so excited! We called to schedule an appointment, and the first thing we had to do was meet with a financial counselor on when we were going to pay them. We haven t seen a doctor yet so why would we pay? Then it took a few more weeks to see a nurse practitioner, I don t remember her name but she was wonderful and we got to see our baby on the ultrasound, finally. Then my wife started having problems, bleeding, spot etc. we called and messaged to try and come in but we couldn t get in for weeks! Just a few weeks after the ultrasound the unspeakable happened...my wife had a miscarriage. We we re and still are devastated but the next day was the first time we met the doctor. Dr. Kelso is a very sweet woman and definitely helped feel more at ease. After a few months and appointments my wife and I started trying again. Just a few weeks ago we found out she was pregnant again! We already had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Kelso and it was far enough away that it would be a good time for a prenatal visit. We got a call today to schedule a prenatal visit and my wife scheduled it for 11 days after the already scheduled appointment. She thought, might as well have as many appointments as possible since they would never see us the first time. My wife then checks MyChart to see the original appointment was cancelled! We called to see why and was told since it was an appointment for a previous issue it need to be canceled... Are you kidding me??? It was an appointment we had scheduled months in advance to see her doctor and these people had the audacity to cancel it. Who I spoke to on the phone with was absolutely unhelpful and unwilling to do anything about the issue. We later found out that because our appointment was canceled it had been given to someone else and we were stuck with the later date. Scott and White is the most impersonal health care provider we have ever heard of but maybe it s just this clinic either way if we had any other choice at this point we would never step foot in this place again. Maybe we ll start looking for other places....
