The hotel room was generally clean. The patio was neat and floor to ceiling windows were nice. We reserved a room that was "mountain view" but we had such a tiny view of the mountain because the angle of the building. It was actually the staircase that Actually got a mountain view. There are multiple (about 4) resort lodges your room could be placed in. You may want to request a certain lodge if you want a mountain view.
In the king executive, there were two sinks, one in the toilet/shower room and one just outside which was convenient for two people. The downside was that the counters seemed like they had not been washed very well, the tub was clogged so that I was standing in water while I was showering, and there was a fair amount of dirt around the light switches. What used to be a can-light heat lamp in the ceiling just outside the shower still functions as a light, but they no longer use a heat bulb. A luxury item that's fantastic to have, but I can understand cutting an item like that from the budget. The problem is that you need the light to see in the shower and it's on a timer so part way through your shower you lose all your light. There is also an old touch tone phone hanging on the wall by the toilet. It was fun to see, but dates the place.
The bathroom floor and shower are tiled and it looks nice. Someone picked out nice patterns. There's a pretty decent sized hole where the plumbing of both the sink and the shower head meet the wall. That's fairly common in hotels for some reason, even though it looks so trashy, so I can't really rate against them too much for that.
Someone had poured coffee into the reservoir of the machine where you would normally pour your fresh water, so I was unable to heat up water. What's more is that the process of unplugging the machine from the wall requires you to get behind the TV console which makes me question how well these machines are ever washed. Clearly this one was missed. With all that said, the glass of the machine was clean, the ceramic coffee mugs appeared clean, and the pull out station in the TV console for the coffee and beverages was clean and useful.
Dresser drawers and other furniture in the room was clean, but the couch was so worn out the cushions were completely flat.
The bed seemed to have worn divots where you sleep, but sometimes that's difficult to judge. They did add some very nice down-type topper to this bed that was very comfortable. As for the down-type blanket on top of the bed that initially seemed nice, it did not actually have a cover, it was just sandwiched between two loose sheets on the bed. The comforter, and all three decorative pillows seemed clean and smelled good.
Dishes from two different rooms sat in the hallway on the floor for over a day and a half. Housekeeping was there when we first saw the dishes and they should have been through again by the time saw the dishes still there.
I had planned to spend more time in the resort but I had assumed all their services and food were probably the same quality as these rooms...which is less than satisfactory.
