Been a member here for about half a year now and I love it. Nate and Alex at the golf shop are incredibly nice. And everyone else that works there are also great! It makes it feel like a community that welcomes everyone.

Visual was stunning, very comfortable and warm feeling for holidays with a great bar.... Only gripe is that the beds could be updated... Very hard and lumpy mattress topper and pillows
Awesome place to stay with great amenities that you can t pass on and the views are great, ppl enjoy them while you stay. My only complaint is how you can hear almost everything (thin walls) not to mention the door in the room that connects to the person next to you unless is a shared room, but I still enjoyed my stay also the rooms need better cleaning I found eyelashes still stuck on the side of a dresser but still enjoyed it. Will be back!
Beautiful facilities but EVERYTHING was a little over priced. We were a little disappointed with the valentines package. The room was just slightly above any average hotel. The food was nothing to brag about and it was cold. The waiters seemed to be stressed, perhaps under staffed. But We Loved the ambiance of the campus. I would shop around and compare before I go back.
Attended a rehearsal dinner here. The food is soooo good! The salmon, chicken, and pork were delicious! We also had desserts--the shooters and the icecream stone. There were multiple different dessert shooter flavors. The icecream stone was just like coldstone! You chose what you wanted mixed in and it was so good. I ate a lot!
So much just what the pictures show. A cozy mountain resort tucked into the base of Cheyenne Mountain. Clean rooms, amenities. Can't wait to try it out in the months
This is a nice resort with beautiful mountain views and lots of amenities. However, the complaints online are valid. Hotels have lots of challenges during this pandemic, but some of the issues could be fairly easily remedied. For instance, trash piling up in outside trash bins was an issue. With so many doing carry out instead of eating in restaurants, it's easy to see why their small bins are overflowing. It's not because the grounds staff wasn't on top of it, because we did see them emptying them and cleaning up. The bins are just too small. But why not buy larger plastic outdoor bins to use during this time? Just a thought. I'd like to give it four stars, but didn't like seeing those piles of trash. We enjoyed our night here due to the lovely grounds, ample outdoor seating on decks, very friendly employees, good parking, comfortable beds. It's a nice family/golf resort.
Been here several times and have always had a good experience. Food is good and staff is very professional. Pools are lots of fun in the summer and they have other activities as well. The bar area is nice and rooms are nice as well.
This place was great! Everyone is so polite and accommodating! Grounds are just gorgeous and I am definitely coming back with my family. This place seems really appropriate for kids as well as adults only! In the aquatics center, all clustered together was a baby pool, splash pad,and playground. All of this was right next to a lake beach that has all kinds of free water equipment to use to putz around the lake. Rooms have been freshly renovated so everything was clean and pleasant to stay in. Highly recommend. PS. The golf club restaurant has the best food on the resort. Just really fresh, delicious and well put together on a plate!
Spent new years here with my boyfriend and had a nice time. The resort was really nice, we didn't spend enough time here to check out all the amenities but the rooms were nice, staff was friendly, their shampoo smelled great!!! I had called 3 months in advance to ask about their new years plans and I was told there would be dinner and fireworks, hence why I booked in the first place. I was sad to find out the day of that there were no fireworks, only dinner and then by 11:30 everything was closed... We ordered room service for breakfast and their sweet potato hashbrown was amazing
They had two of our credit cards on file and they charged the room to both of them. They took the money right away, but 5-7 days to give it back. Of course we had to find the mistake on our own.
Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and incredible service! I attended a catered dinner as part of a work function here and the experience was first-rate.
I'm sorry I really wanted to love this place. The views are amazing, the people are nice. But the cleaning staff do a bad job. There was junk in the coffee maker, and on the coffee pods. The toilet seat swivels when you sit on it. The bed is like sleeping on rocks. The spa "high end" amenities are non existent. No shampoo or conditioner. The lotion was literally empty. Very disappointed, thinking about just going home. Thankfully I have that option, I feel sorry for someone from out of town that is stuck. The upside is amazing front desk staff, and the room service guy is super nice and fast! I really wanted to like this place. Their summers look amazing. Glad we took a test drive before committing to a week here. Edit, the shampoo and conditioner are in the shower in big bottles.
Have been here many times. Always has been a 5 star+ experience. Now there is a different feel since Dolce has taken over. Not that management shouldn't strive to improve and maximize profits. But I can almost feel some of the cost controls now. Staff is still excellent but leaner now.
Got into the springs around 1230am my hotel said they wouldn't take cash so the guy called Cheyenne mountain resort and got me a room for cheaper than holiday inn and they let me pay with cash! The place is enormous rooms are so nice and you get a little balcony with a cute view!! Great staff nice place!!!
Not recommended. The pools and activities were great but low quality rooms and my room was broken into and we were awoken by security at 11 pm never coming again
This place is very overrated. The negatives: 1. The bathroom in the room was tiny. 2. Its understaffed. 3. The food is mediocre 4. The adult pool area is tiny and the lawn chair were broken. 5. The lake "beach" is overrated. The water is gross and there were not enough paddleboards. 6. The gym offers classes but when you ask for the times they don't know. The equipment is outdated, the weights are mismatched so you could be holding 2 weights that weigh the same but look totally different. No music or ambient noise so everything echos so loudly. The water from the water dispenser was warm. The positive: 1. The staff is friendly 2. Parking. 3. The view is nice and every room has a view. 4. This is were you want to go if you like tennis or golf. 5. The location is great. Its close to restaurants and shops.
Had a nice stay for 3 days. Food a little pricey but not bad. Staff is great but the massages are overpriced for the time you get. Beds in the rooms are ok but pillows are awful.
My stay at the resort was good. It is the lack of communication from the staff that I am not pleased with. The resort ran my card for the tab at the bar then charged it again to the room, so at check out I see that I was charged twice for the bar. I have confirmed through my bank the charges, but the resort seems to to see the additional charge. They also put another customer's bill on my account and charged it to my credit card. Though this charge was resolved, I am not happy at how they handled the situation and how they can't figure out the double charge to my account. Not sure if our waitress ran it then added to our room. I'm very disappointed that they have not resoled this and that they have not called back after providing the resort with my bank's contact information.
Staying a week at this resort during Covid. The pools and lake area have the most incredible views, as do our connecting rooms. It's true that not having the rooms cleaned for a week is a bit of pain considering the price. There's so much rubbish to get rid of each days, as most eat takeout at the moment, that the garbage bins are constantly overflowing. If we were to return, we would certainly ask for a room with no one above us. You can hear every step above you and the family above us were stomping and running around until all hours and up before 6am so sleep was an issue.
This place is only missing one thing... customer service. The rooms are good for the price point, the views are amazing and the aquatic center was more than we expected. Lake and pool smashed together...perfect for 2 little boys. The service was lacking. 25 minute wait to just get adult drinks in the Elevation Lounge and just about the same with breakfast buffet the next morning. We chose off property dinning after that. Long waits for on property shuttles and every long wait time came with sorry we are under staffed today.
So much fun it's like having a small apartment lots to do here for a hotel the main building has a crazy good restaurant/buffet a little pricy about 100$ for 2 people "no drinks". There is multiple swimming pools indoor and outdoor. They also have a few spas that a very nice it was well worth the drive to stay here!
Here for a meeting. Great food and good service. Comfortable and spacious. Fantastic views. Has a golf course, fitness center, spa, multiple pools. I didn't use most of these but they look very nice.
The area is very charming and the main lodge is beautiful. The man who checked us in was very helpful as well as personable. We got to out room in the Dove Lodge. The room was very clean, and very spacious. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the mountains. We were disappointed in a few things. The bed was a bit lumpy, and the pillows were stiff and uncomfortable. Also, their is only 1 hot tub, for at least 3 of the lodges, if not, the entire complex. So, there was no room to enjoy this amenity. Beside these complaints, we enjoyed our time here. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I would very much recommend this resort.
An amazing resort. Between golf, tennis, two pools, a beach with some kayaks, canoes, etc.....there's something for everyone. However, very disappointed with the food. Lots of walking just to get some breakfast by the golf course as the main restaurant isn't open. They're blaming Covid but, that's just a cop out. Even the food connected to the bar (Elevations) isn't up to par what you'd expect from a 4 Star Resort. Bring your own food or eat out at some amazing restaurants near by like we did. Sushi O Sushi and Edelweiss.
This resort is very beautiful and quiet. They have the best food in the area with very respectful staff. Their Mountain View Resturant has amazing food. You don t want to miss this when you are in the area. Yes, it s a little on the high budget for food but you won t regret it.
Everything about Cheyenne Mountain was AMAZING! If you want a true God experience, GO! The beds are like heaven and the food is like nothing you will find anywhere else! And the view is breathtaking!!! The staff is so sweet and really strive to make your stay the best it can be!
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cheyenne Mountain Resort for the Catholic Charities St Patrick's Day Gala. The venue was outstanding, and the staff surpassed all expectations.
The room I had in the clear creek lodge was just ok... Inside was remodeled but nothing special. I was hoping for a little more custom shower not a regular inset tub and shower. Food was less than impressive, the chicken dinner was a small portion for the price with no amazing flavor outliars. Should have ordered in chinese. Did love the open outdoor hot tub in Nov!
I'm sorry I was only at the resort for an event. The location is gorgeous and I would love to explore it more. The staff were very polite in helping me find the correct event room.
The activities, staff, and view make this an amazing resort. I was hoping to dine at the restaurant, but appreciate the preventive measures taken by the resort. I m glad I live in a country where people can give 1 star to a resort like this...
First off, they booked us into the same room as another couple. They sold me on "The best view of the mountain, right from your bed", but my only view is 2 large trees outside my balcony. When I called to see if they could change my room, they said they could move me to another area, which they had previously already said wasn't what I was looking for. But Hey, I can look at some a/c units on top of their golf clubhouse, the road and the 2 trees. Not so happy.
Stayed there last night. 1 night only. Checked in late, changed clothes and went out for a late dinner. When we got back to room it was cold but also very late.We cranked the heat to 85. I didnt want to switch rooms so I didnt call front desk. When I got up this am their was ice and frost on the inside of the glass door. We woke up late and were in a rush to check out and be on our way. I just called the Hotel and spoke with Ian the manager. He advised me since I've left the property he cant do anything to help. I asked for a discount or refund and he said No. He told me to call Expedia and they might give me some kind of credit but the most he MIGHT give me is 10%.... for a room that cost almost 200$ a night. Are you joking? He acted like me asking for a refund or anything was a joke. And please note, He offered nothing, but a "you should have told me before you left the property". What does me being "on" property matter??? I am a customer that was very dissatisfied with the service you offer???? What did I do wrong but not want to switch rooms at 1 am ?? And check out and rush to my doctors apt because I woke up late. Smh.... never again !
Absolutely beautiful. Love going here just to eat, or to stay. Amazing views, right in the foothills of Cheyenne Mountain. With a great view the peak as well. Right down the street from the Broadmoor 5-star hotel and resort, a ton of shopping, Spa combinations, everything you could ever need or want. There's a concierge desk here, and they'll run their errands for you. They will accommodate you basically in any way, guest comes first.
I went to Cheyenne Mountain Resort for our yearly tradition - Easter brunch. As usual, the food was fabulous. Our waiter is one we've had before - Darryl. I invited a friend with me who had never been to CMR before because she just moved here from Germany. When I asked the host if it might be possible if we were seated by the window, even during a busy day like Easter, he accommodated us and that only made my friend's experience even better. Our drinks were never empty whole Darryl was waiting on us. Our table was continually bussed and the staff were friendly. The only complaint we had was that when our waiter went on break (he informed us he would be stepping out for a few minutes which was fine) the waitress that took over for him was terrible. It's like she did everything she could to ignore his tables. The family sitting behind us actually complained loudly. Our drinks were empty the entire time she was covering the area. We had to stop her and ask 3 times before we got assistance from her. In truth, I'm not sure what she was doing because she wasn't available to us at all except for limited curt interactions. However, the quality of the food, and primarily our waiter are what earned the 5 star rating. Darryl was so good that we can honestly overlook the other complaint. Depending on what the military has in store for our family this time next year, we will be back. We are club members so we use the rest of the resort year round at current and have been very happy.
Waitress in the hotel restaurant was really strange. Felt something on my collar and it was her, smelling my neck. My wife gave her one of those looks, and she apologized, stating "your husband smells really nice". We dined off the resort after that. The rest of the resort was nice, except the beds. Which in our room were really lumpy. The Hotel staff was very friendly, but the lumpy bed and restaurant staff just kind of ruined it for me.
Our arrival was a bit chaotic as they had a couple of conferences happening and we were early for our check in. There was also a significant winter storm to add to the chaos. Staff handled it all well and even got us into a room earlier than expected. The room is quite comfortable. Small point regarding the TV, if a nice big TV is in the too, why not have a nice HD signal as well.
