Please stay somehwere else. our three day stay was terrible. The toilet flooded, the dinners were terrible and cost twice as much as anywhere else, the facility was run down, the staff was rude, and finally they charged me i/3 more a night than what they quote. if their was a zero stars i would give it to them.

One of many stops on our 21st wedding anniversary. It was the worst night spent in Colorado Springs. The people above our room stomped around half the night. Around 1 am we were awakened by someone trying their key card in our door. It took them a while to figure it was another room they were going to (by then I was ready to call 911). Soon afterwards, the music started and went on drumming into the wee hours of the morning.
The next morning, there were biker type ladies smoking some weird smelling stuff outside our room. Nothing came with the $160./night room except for a $20 facility charge. The brochure said there was an indoor swimming pool. When we went to try it out, they told us there was only out door pools. The weather was too cold at the end of May to swim outside...
On top of all that, the room was dusty! It was almost like dirty splendor. You look behind the bed and there's an inch of old dust on all the wires...If you have allergies, good luck!
When my husband complained about our nocturnal visitors and noisy neighbors, the desk girl said, "O that's too bad, that will be twenty blahblah dollars for the fee..." So sensitive to their guests needs!
The next day, we stayed in Kearney NE in a Country Inn and Suites. It was heaven (comparatively)!

Only been to their buffet/restaurant and it's a nice experience with great views. Decor is always upscale and cozy especially during Christmas. You go for the atmosphere as much if not more so than the food.

Fantastic resort, only stayed overnight and unfortunately didn't get to try all the resort options. But the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The resort view room view was very nice too, and compared to rates of chain hotels in the area, definitely worth it even for just one night.

Horrible service, waited in line for an omelette for about 20 minutes, had to tell the cook 3 times that I wanted Swiss cheese but they gave me cheddar, and when I said I wanted Swiss the assistant cook was competely dismissive and there was no attempt to fix it, the omelette was burnt and no apologies about the wait or the food being completely wrong were offered.

The buffet was good, but the omelette line was absolutely not worth it. The wait meant I didn't eat breakfast with my family. Very very disappointing.

Beautiful resort!! The pools/lake access were incredible!! We were on bottom floor and the creaking from the room above is why I only can give 3 stars!! It was soooooo loud! Kept us up late and woke us early! When I spoke to front desk I did not get an I m sorry but a thanks for letting me know. My advice if you chose to stay here is to request not to be on bottom floor.

Beautiful location. Great staff. Had our AC die in the middle of the night so it was pretty hot. They fixed it quickly the next morning. Had an issue with the key cards too, but the fixed it and comped some of our charges for the hassle. I would go back. The gym is awesome!

My husband and I have been to a number of events at Cheyenne Mountain Resort and have always enjoyed the place, but I don't think we will ever go there again. Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a beautiful place, but as a business they have questionable ethics. They booked a conference for the white nationalist hate group VDare. After intense community pressure they did cancel the hate conference, which is why I gave them a 2 star review instead of a 1 star review.

While I appreciate the fact that CMR did cancel their plans to host VDare, their response was underwhelming. CMR simply stated that they were not hosting the conference and that they respect the privacy of their guests. Sadly, Cheyenne Mountain Resort did agree to host this white nationalist hate conference in the first place, which show incredibly bad judgement and ethics . Their statement did NOT in any way address the fact that they were originally willing to host a racist hate group. That makes Cheyenne Mountain Resort fundamentally unworthy of my future business.

Went there for breakfast and a one day training seminar. The views from the restaurant were amazing! Food was great and service was exceptional! I highly recommend asking to be seated in Sylva's section! She is very friendly, inviting and attentive. Sylvia is one of those rare hosteses that truly believes in hospitality as the highest priority. I will visit this establishment again!

Worst stay ever, and I stay at Choice Privileges hotels frequently! First, I asked for the drain on tub to be fixed (we have young kids), and it never was. On our last day we arrived back at the room at 4:15 (after being gone since 8:30am), and the room had not been cleaned. Because it was close to dinner time, we needed to bathe our children prior to dinner. I tried calling the front desk multiple times and my call was never received. I was able to speak to a manager but she was so disrespectful, she doubted her staff would ever ignore a call (there were three working the front desk). Next, she tried to justify the lack of timeliness of cleaning the room to the number of checkouts (as though I cared). For full disclosure, I did Priceline this room for $100 a night on express deals, but you still had to pay a $27 a night resort fee. Regardless, for a family that travels regularly that NEVER complains, I would not recommend staying at this resort. It is one thing for a resort to not live up to expectation, but to then follow with a manager with such poor customer service skills that she deflects the problem on I.T. and checkouts, I once again cannot reiterate how much I would not stay here again. Save yourself the frustrations, and just stay at the Marriott!

Broken/stuck door to room, failure to fix clogged tub drain after it was reported, and confusing final bill. UPDATE: While the final bill was unclear, the final charge was correct, and staff followed up on my concerns to ensure that they had been addressed.

This is an excellent place to stay if you want clothes STOLEN from your room!!! I watched another couple file a report in the resort lobby for stuff stolen from their room. Unfortunately we didn't miss the clothes until we got home and it's too late to do anything. Some of the clothes still had tags on them...about $300 worth!! Only reason they get one star is because that's the only choice!!! I won't even go in to the toilet issues and having to walk to the lobby to use the restroom for the first 24 hours after arriving.

Customer service was EXCELLENT! I experienced an asthma attack from the difference in altitude but the manager sent her team to Walgreens for a humidifier and vaporize. This made breathing for me a lot easier while there for training. Room was clean, views were gorgeous and food was amazing!

Clean rooms but absolutely not worth the resort name! No clock, no do not disturb, Fairfield inn rooms are bigger, minuscule bathroom space, poor noise control, and while some rooms may have a beautiful view we could not open our shades due to the fact that our window opened up to a courtyard where people were constantly walking by. Super disappointed will not come back.

Went there for drinks and appetizers. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We looked around the main place and everything looked very nice. Loved the decor and architecture. Great place to stay or drop by.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights the week after Christmas. Nice looking place from the pictures on their website. However, the indoor pool was not functioning. Rooms had NO microwaves to heat up things. When I inquired they responded that it would be an additional $20/ night? Really? Motel 6 has them for FREE! The most disappointing night was the first evening spent in their dining room. Food was very substandard and the service was also. The dining room was not at all busy, so no reason for such bad service and barely warm food. Substitution for risotto with rice without a comment. Needless to say, we ate elsewhere the rest of the trip. Overpriced for what was served.

Very comfortable and spacious what I do not like is that they have too much internal taxes and they do not invite you or show you the facilities the only thing you visited was the pool because it is at first sight but it should have more attractions

Although we (myself and my wife) originally planned on staying in a room with a king sized bed and a hot tub, we ended up staying in a standard room with two beds for all 6 nights. I made the original confirmed reservation more than a month in advance along with a training course I had in the area. Since this hotel was the designated accommodation for the training course, somebody got hold of my reservation and without taking my prior consent changed my room to a standard one and applied the course's rate. I said fine as long as my wife is included in the breakfast and we have a room with a king sized bed.

Afterwards, during the days leading to our arrival I received several emails with cancellations and rebooking of our reservation. I became uneasy, so I called more than once prior to our arrival and reminded them with my requests. I did not get much assurances. Only promises to leave notes and see what they can do.

Sure enough, when we arrived we were told that the only room available is a one with two beds. When we hit he buffet in the morning, only myself was included in the breakfast. We tried later that morning to modify the situation and were offered to move for two nights to a king sized bed room, but have to move back to a room with two beds afterwards, and no way my wife would have the breakfast included in the rate. And I cannot change the reservation to anything else.

Firing up an email to the hotel's management didn't help. Their reply didn't include any apology or admission of any wrongdoing.

This left a very bad taste in an otherwise lovely stay with a backdrop to die for.

The rooms were large and service was good. I wouldn't recommend their restaurant. I ordered the ribeye and asked for it to be medium rare and the first time it came well done. I was tempted to just eat it, but my family told me to send it back because it simply wasn't what I ordered and we were paying for it. The second time it came absolutely raw, I only realized after the second bite because it was cooked on the edges. Once you cut through the center you can see that both sides of the cut weren't evenly cooked. The second bite I had had a cold spot which tipped me off to how uncooked it was.

We are members of the country club and have to eat at one of the restaurants to fulfill our monthly quota. The food is awful, the service is non-existent. Now I know why the monthly charge is mandatory-I would NEVER pay for this unless I was coerced.

I wouldn t recommend staying here during the COVID pandemic simply because not all amenities are available, as expected during these times. You will not have freely access to the pools which is a bummer. They have a time slot in which you sign up for to use the pools on the resort.

Just spent a few relaxing days at Cheyenne Mtn. Although it rained a little it didn't spoil our trip.
The staff was the best from check-in to check-out. Rooms have been beautifully renovated and the front lobby re-do is nearly complete .
Kudos to the front office, security, housekeeping and restaurant wait staff. Another wonderful vacation.

From the outside looking in this place looks amazing. Inside, not so much. Week before arriving told airport shuttle was no longer running. We check in and attendant didn't bother to tell us to cut straight through building to get to our room, but to walk around the building. The room it self is about the quality of a holiday Inn. No trash bag in can. Door to bathroom has issues shutting. Paying for a resort and getting a motel. Not cool.

Disappointed in the resort. Main lodge beautiful views and I'm sure outdoor activities during the summer are fun for kids. Rooms were not impressive at all. First room had broken lamp, dirty coffee maker, and room was old fashioned. Needs updating. No weather stripping around the door at all. 1/2 inch openings. Had to change rooms in the evening because the room was not cleaned and we had no towels. 2nd room, exhaust fan did not work and bathroom dripped of moisture after showers. Pillows smelled dirty and stale. Bathroom sink area was very small. Will not be back.
