Wonderfully secluded from overly busy Branson strip, Chateau is beautiful and welcoming. The staff is genuinely friendly and the ammenities are luxurious. It seems top have outpriced itself for the market and offerings, but is still a lovely stay.

Our server Michael was incredible and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious with subtle and exotic flavors. The view was gorgeous and the interior of the hotel is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

No ADA access from hotel to dock. Employees at the marina were helpful and called front desk for shuttle and were told they wouldn't send a shuttle. We then called twice on our own and were told no by the front desk. We had called to see if the restaurant was open before booking and were told it was. Upon arrival the only food option was to take one of two entrees from the restaurant to your room. Look elsewhere for better service, wouldn't be difficult to find it.

Oh my goodness! This place is outstanding! We loved it's remote location. Everything about this hotel is high class! Everything- dining, lounges and room were near perfect. We did not use the spa, pool or exercise room, but we did visit them. They even have a theater for children! The personnel are wonderful, especially Phillip! You're going to love your stay here!

Everything seemed to be in a general state of shabby disrepair. Severely water damaged ceiling tiles, scuffed furniture, etc. With few exceptions the staff were uninterested and inhospitable. I would never stay here again. The only benefit is the proximity to the water, and it's just not worth it.

The room was clean, but we told the front desk the night we checked in that our water wasn t hot in our shower, she told me they would get it taken care of. The next day when we got up to leave, there was no change in our water.

Stopped here just to grab some afternoon ice cream with the family. Our guide on Ride the Ducks recommended their ice cream parlor. Very nice looking hotel. Would consider staying there after visiting.

I wanted badly to give this place 5 stars but unfortunately they have made some changes over the years that make it feel less hospitable. For example, I want to use the valet service but instead of paying the man taking my car I have to pay the Hotel, and I seriously doubt they are making up the loss of tips to the people doing the job.

I had lunch in the atrium and the service was a good and the people were personable. The food was good. We only had one issue with what we ordered and the kitchen made it right.

Rooms are fairly priced for what you get, and the room service is good. The only complaint is the tendency of guest to leave their finished trays and dishes outside their doors for the employees to take back to the kitchen but the trays sit there for hours.

Pretty neat area, but the food could have been better. Overall, food was over priced and underwhelming. The dinner was bland but elegantly presented. The omelet was obviously missing spinach, and all the waitress had to say is the chef forgot. I waited 20+ minutes for the waitress to come check on us to show her, by which time it was cold. The prosciutto was also just chunks of ham, which is misleading when the menus are in English.

Beautiful building and location. The sweets shop is great, best gummy bears I've ever had! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms and the fact that you can't use the inputs on the TVs.

Beautiful hotel, and excellent service. Our room was very clean, and we had an awesome view. The pool was nice, and the tennis courts fun. We were surprised they had a movie theater which plays movies 3 times per day. Something that would help for those rainy days, or evening hours, would be a ping pong (or table tennis) table and a pool table.

Resort is beautiful. Amazing view. We always love to come and visit, even when we don't stay in a room. There overnight. It doesn't feel like you are in Branson, but somewhere on an romantic vacation in Europe. However the food in the restaurant out on the balcony is well below average and far overpriced. And, the waitstaff could care less about our dissatisfaction. Probably the worst food we've ever eaten. Also a little noisy with all of the rowdy kids in the pool. Not the best place for couples.

My husband and I spent the weekend at Chateau on the Lake last weekend. He surprised me for our 25th Anniversary. He paid for a couple's massage and other spa treatments. When we arrived, they had told him an earlier time than what they said over the phone, & the $80 bath was just a Jacuzzi bath with hot water and no salts, aromas, etc. If we were to add oils or salts, it was $15 per person, per treatment. My husband ended up getting the wrong massage than what he ordered, and the shower didn't work in our room. The communication among the staff needs improvement. We had to leave early that morning, so we did not have time for them to come and fix it. We were so disappointed, and especially with it being our 25th Anniversary. Too much money was spent for too many issues.

Let me start out by saying I never complain about food. I ve never in my life sent food back. My husband and I decided to have a beautiful date night in Branson. We were flown in with reservations and seated promptly when we arrived. Our waitress was nice. We ordered our drinks, some appetizers. My husband ordered the strip steak. I ordered the filet and lobster. First I Cut into my filet. It was pretty tough. Took a bite and extremely dry. No huge deal I grabbed some of my husbands butter from his and slapped it on there. While letting it melt in hoping to help it out a little (I don t complain) I take a bite of my lobster. I held it in my mouth for a few seconds thinking surely there is absolutely no way! I started gagging and had to spit it out! It wasn t just bad! It was ROTTEN!!! Everyone we spoke to raved about how great this place was. I was truly disappointed. That should have never been cooked! The manager did come out and took our entrees off our bill as there was no way we could eat after that. But quite honestly even though no words were said it felt like it was our fault that it was bad. Even the waitresses attitude changed toward us.

I just made reservations with Chateau on the Lake ...

I just made reservations with Chateau on the Lake Resort booked Mountain View Ambassador King Suites for Oct 15 thru 20th 2017 for a much needed get away with spouse. Let's just say, I wasn't impressed with Janice who handle my reservation . I was told you pay for first night $229.90 in advance which was no problem. Janice supposely put in request for balcony and extra towels (please note requests wasn't on paperwork email to me8 ( ) Janice took my information then stated my card was declined. She informed I had 24 hrs to reply. I immediately phone my credit card company upon finding out card was decline because amount which I was told $229. 90 wasn't amount taking off by Chateau .Instead $310.90 was amount Chateau requested. I HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM LAST YEAR IN HOT SPRINGS STAYBRIDGE SUITES.For this reason i use debit card only. I immediately called Chateau and spoke with Janice. Her reply was, "oh sorry I put in wrong amount ". My reply was, I hope this isn't a sign of how my stay is going to end up.Of course her reply was, oh no Ms. Johnson. After discussing this ordeal with my husband. Next day I phone Chateau just to see what type of response I would get .I spoke with Kimberly, and requested lounge chair or some type of comfortable chair for husband. I know every room have different types of chairs Kimberly reply was we do not have lounge chairs in our rooms. My reply was, I just saw one listed on your site for Lakefront room. Kimberly then replied, let me check with the engineer. I replied, didn't know engineers worked on Sat. Kimberly replied, we do on Saturday. Put me on hold, she later stated our housekeeper says we can't take chairs from other area. My reply, I thought you were contacting engineer? Kimberly was like, ohhh he didn't answer. My reply was thank you goodbye. I'm spending over 1,000 for what? This is a time when you shouldn't have to worry about anything. I would appreciate a phone call or email from management to maybe remove this bad vibe I'm getting from your establishment. I'm definitely having second thoughts. Dorothy Johnson

This was an excellent hotel. Our room was clean, well built, and well maintained. The service was friendly and timely. Although, I will say that the hotel staff seemed surprised that the hotel was fully booked. This was odd to me considering we were there for a large conference, so I would have expected the hotel to be properly staffed to handle the large number of guests. On two occasions when ordering food, once from room service and once from one of the hotel restaurants, we were told that it would be 45 min to an hour between ordering and receiving our food. And this was during normal meal times. Also, when we ate at the hotel restaurant, there was one server for about 40 customers. That's just ridiculous. However, aside from these relatively minor inconveniences, our experience at the hotel was top notch. We will definitely stay here again!

Once again we had Christmas brunch at Chateau on the lake. It was just as good if not better then last year's brunch. The lobby was so beautifully decorate with Christmas trees and ginger bread house displays made by the chef's and staff. A pianist playing on beautiful grand piano. The menu was unbelievable. Can't say enough, it was a brunch you must experience. 4 star hotel and restaurant

Not a 5 star experience... The staff was exceptional, nothing they could have done to be better. Problems were with the rooms and strange missing things. The room I reserved was an ambassador suite with a lake front view room... The view came with the hotels entire fleet of AC units... which was also loud when opening the doors. The bathroom didn't have a fan & the balcony had spiders. Not a lot but still enough to be wary of being out there. Overall, too pricy for what it is, the spa was also great but way way too much. $450ish for two massages after tip...

Bible quizing national final day. It was really amazing these kids really know there materials. Hotel is beautiful and amazing within itself. With water falls and streams cascading through its center as well as the view overlooking the lake these sights are breath taking. Just a reminder of the mighty God we serve.
