Zero stars! Rooms were nice, breakfast buffet was good quality and good service, but lunch in the dining room was unacceptable. Flies on trays and tables, multiple windows were very dirty. Food was awful. Prime rib on nachos was days, if not weeks old. Strange menu, way overpriced. They also had a suspended liquor license.

Stunning place! Everything you'd expect from a fine resort. Views are spectacular, atrium was beautifully decorated. The gingerbread houses where gorgeous. We enjoyed a small dinner at the lounge. The food was delicious and aesthetically pleasing.

We got a great rate on a lake view room for our 1 Year Anniversary. Highlights we're the proximity to the lake and Sunday Morning Brunch (Don't miss this)!

We rented a boat for 4 hours one day and had a great time. The ski boats are brand new and fast and they guys at the marina we're very helpful. They dont have bait at the marina so bring your own. -- The boats do not have anchors which is a bummer to keep moving the boat when your trying to relax.

We were there for 3 days and it was top notch! They totally nailed it in customer service. We wanted for nothing, they readily anticipated and assisted with our every want or need. I encourage everyone to visit. They are truly the best!

The only thing I could have asked for is a mini fridge in the room. There are plenty of businesses inside the hotel, the view is amazing, and the atrium is incredibly relaxing to experience. Being that I visited after November 1st, I was pleasantly surprised at the gingerbread house display and other holiday decorations that are already in place. The staff is wonderful and I have had no problems at all. Tip for anyone intending to use the spa services: you may want to make appointments before arrival to ensure that the staff/services are available.

Mattresses are old, broken down and totally shot. Awoke 3 mornings with a splitting headache, because of no back support in the mattress. Will never go back! 3 mornings was our total stay. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel overnight. To add to the displeasure ... this was my wife and I 20th wedding anniversary.

What a garbage "resort". Rooms are outdated and stink of body odor. We got a room directly above the unsightly generator and AC unit farm for the resort. The noise is not great considering the cost of the stay here, which is undoubtedly overpriced. When I asked about this, I was offered a worse room in exchange. I will never spend the money on this resort again and instead book earlier at Big Cedar, which is a bit more expensive but well worth it. (Hell, even a 3 star like Drury inn or wherever around here is better). Do not recommend.

Amazing filet, perfectly prepared! Great service, a bit lacking in ambience in the main dinning room, dim the lights, add a candle and it would match the price of the meal! It was a good choice and we would dine with them again.

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend. The men at the front door were so nice and helpful and made you feel welcome. But once inside the hotel it was a different story. We checked in and got our room. The room was hot and the air conditioning never cooled the room down to 70. I told the front desk and they said to give it more time. For what you pay the room was dusty and the little soap that they left us was half empty like it had been used before. Will not stay here again.

The whole experience at the Chateau was avery good one. From the minute I arrived they made you feel like your a part of the family or like a close friend. The pool, theater, gift shop, coffee house, and grand ball room was very enchanting. Thanks to everyone there my wife and I had an excellent visit.

Very pleasant and enjoyable experience! No Cheyenne at the spa made it appealingly vs appalling. Pool was a delight as was the gift shop. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from Cheyenne, though she probably can say the same lol.

Nice set up with view of the lake, a bit outside of Branson. We had a suite, with separate ACs for each room and comfortable beds. Towels were really thin and scruffy though. The inside and outside pools are great for kids, with nice view of the lake. The food in all the restaurants was a disappointment, very bland and standard, and meat was always too dry.

Our favorite place to stay in Branson! Nice resort atmosphere. Good value. Don't miss the marina where you can rent boats to enjoy the lake. Restaurant, pool, theatre, spa, hot tub, everything you need for a relaxing get away!

My husband and I have been going to Branson for over 20 years and we always said "one day" we will stay at the Chateau. Maybe I had it built in my head this was an extremely nice place to stay and maybe 20 years ago it was. When we got to our room, I was disappointed by the out dated decor. After traveling and spending the evening on the Branson Belle, we were ready to get some rest. While the bed was comfortable, the A/C decided to keep us up all night. It rattled all night. Turning it off was not an option so we just had to deal with it. When we checked out, we told the gentlemen at the counter and he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. This is not a place I would recommend.
