My husband and I had a wonderful server, Krista or Kristal sorry cant exactly remember, but she was amazing. We were having a great time, until a couple that was sitting behind us asked for alcohol. Our server carded them, they got really hostile and everything became wrong, the drinks, the food, then we witnessed the woman throw her wallet, which I picked up and handed back to her. We noticed they had ate and drank everything on the table, yet we saw them speaking to a manager, obviously complaining. They had told they server everything was great, yet we never saw them pay, so my husband walked passed to look at this gentleman's name tag because we were going to speak with him about the situation we observed, the manager then called our server over and began yelling at her then said they would discuss it later. Clearly the young couple was there for free stuff, because we again seen them at dinner treating another server bad. When our server, Krista/Kristal got back you could tell she was in different spirits. Her spirit had definitely been broken by this manager, Tyler was what his name tag said. We do not condone screaming at people, let alone in front of their co workers or us as guests. We come every year, however we will not be coming back. This poor woman's spirit was clearly slashed, and when we were speaking t her I had asked if she wanted me to tell the manager what really happened and what I think and she said it was up to me. However, I didnt for fear of her getting screamed at some more. She was an excellent server and I feel terrible that she got treated that way, also along with the gentleman who took care of the SAME couple later that evening. Sorry Chateau but maybe you should respect your employees better. We never complain but that was uncalled for and not even their fault. I hope neither of those servers got fired. If they did it's really sad. It took me all week to decide whether or not to say something, but God laid it upon my heart and I hope they don't get reprimanded because of my post. Prayers sent out to them that they don't lose their bright spirits for good on this one.

Ok you want the best place to stay in Branson. This is it. Just be selective in what you order in the restaurant. Fillet very good. Other steak not so good. Pot pie is just chicken soup with a crust. The chef needs closer attention on what is being prepared in an 5 star facility. Should not serve an ordered steak not properly cooked or a pot pie that is just chicken soup for $17.

This facility is very nice and very nicely maintained. We used the hotel just as a place to stay, and got a bargain room with a view of the lobby roof. The price was reasonable at 99 a night, however note that there is a 25$ resort fee for all rooms. This hotel has a gorgeous conference area, access to a marina, an indoor movie theater, indoor and outdoor pool, and a small playground. We were very satisfied with our stay.

When first entering the room, it was warm like all others so I turned down the AC as far as it would go to cool the room as fast is it could. It still took over a day for the room to get cold enough for me to sleep without waking up sweating. Well, that is if I wasn't already waking up constantly with body aches from sleeping on a mattress that felt like a brick. But, at least I had a beautiful view of the mechanicals on the roof that extended right below my window. The guide on the TV didn't work and the info bar wasn't showing what was on the screen so I had to watch an endless series of commercials just to see what was on each channel. That was fun. So, if you come don't forget something to read, something comfortable to sleep on and something to keep you cool, if those things matter to you. All in all, my worst hotel experience ever, so much so, that I left a day early.

Hotel was nice and staff was helpful. The restaurants inside are where it suffers. Food was not great. Also if you order a drink with your food the bartender there didn't have the slightest clue how to make a cocktail. You have to make a separate trip over to the standalone bar. They make awesome cocktails there.

Employees are are helpful and pleasant at all times.
Thanksgiving lunch is bountiful and fantastic.
Large classy lounge with balcony overlooking Table Rock Lake, stocked with liquor, beer, and wine in multiple price ranges.
Food at restaurants is great with a wide variety of choices.

I stay at the Chateau every 1-2 years, and I mean it when I say it is GREAT! The pool, ice cream shop, movie theater, beautiful views, and the many other amenities are what make it such a great place to stay!

I absolutely loved staying here. The view was incredible. Around the corner was the beach and there is plenty to do near by. The sweet shop made getting snack and drinks convenient, and I liked the boutique inside. Lounging by the pool was great too. The place is big enough that you don't feel crowded with people.

My wife and I booked a King room with a couples massage for our first anniversary. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade to one of their Vice Presidential Suites. What an amazing hotel and stunning room. The view of the lake from our private balcony was breath taking. The staff here is incredibly friendly and professional. The food was top notch and the atmosphere felt very luxurious. I would absolutely stay here again as well as recommend it to others.

Terrible. We have had our rooms booked now for a week but when we arrived someone else was already placed in our room for the night. We got "upgraded" to the king suite. While my parents were just fine with that my sister and I were forced to sleep on the cement floor. They told us the couch was a pull out bed, which was nothing more than some sheets and springs, then they refused to give us more blankets or pillows because they were "all out". After receiving a blanket in pillow from an angry rushed house keeper, we made our "bed" on the cold hard floor. I have not slept more than an hour tonight which is why I am writing this review. Horrible service, which has left me with a horrible spring break. I would rather stay at a Motel 6. At least I know I would have a real bed to sleep on there.

Hotel mostly delivers on expectations, however the rooms are beginning to show their age (I was in a King suite). I have to say though, its 2019 and the "Free" Internet access provides only 0.04mbps (based on a speedtest), while if you pay $10/day you can get up to 2mbps for "basic" Internet access, or for $15/ day you can get 5mbps for "premium" Internet access. What a joke, high-speed Internet access is a utility, not unlike the power that turns the lights on. For me it has nothing to do with the cost, rather the principal of charging for Internet access that is slower that my wireless hotspot, which provides 45mbps of Internet off my phone. Catch up with the rest of the world and provide high-speed Internet access with the room.

I visited Branson on mothers day weekend for a nice getaway. SADLY my trip didnt end up to well. I stayed at the Chateau on the Lake, The employee John Davidson is very rude and has no consoderation for others. He does not know how to speak to people, Also allows others to enter your room without permission. Hotel was decent just the employee was awful. I will not be staying there again!

If you're going to come here, definitely go around Christmas. The decorations are absolutely stunning- I wish I'd thought to take photos. The inside of the hotel looks like the outdoors, with water and trees and a bridge. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. We ordered room service and to my surprise it was pretty good. We also got to see some fireworks.

Extra bonus- we got to bring our dog! They have an entire floor dedicated to guests with pets

Beautiful went for a girls weeks spa retreat felt like a princess except for one girl in nail salon at the spa thankfully we didn't have her but another girl did and she was rude and stuck up and her pedicure that was costly took a total of 6 to 8 minutes when me and my friend where given amazing treatment talked to massaged after we already had a massage and spent at least 45 minutes in the chair.

I would definitely say the food is 5 stars (I've never stayed in a room so can't review that), but the hoops guests are made to jump through just to get a brunch reservation are ridiculous! I called the Chateau Grille to make a reservation for Christmas Brunch. She said I would have to call another number. Called number and had to leave message. Got a call back, but missed the call. Called back and left another message yesterday. Still haven't got a call back. Why couldn't the lady that answered the call in the first place have taken my reservation? This is really rotten customer service!

I love everything about this hotel. I had a problem the first night, but I let the front desk know and she got the right person on the phone and they fixed it right away. The staff is the most friendliest hotel staff I've ever met. The hotel restaurants, gift shop, and even the bellboys/men were courtious and friendly... this is my second night...I am anticipating the visit here hopefully next year. You will not be disappointed and if you have an issue, don't wait until you leave to say something. They will fix whatever they can to make your stay pleasant

We did not stay here. We sat in rocking chairs on the veranda and enjoyed a drink and chocolates. The view of the lake and Ozark Mountains is gorgeous! We asked to see a room and the front desk was very hospitable. Next time we are staying here! Then I will rate the room. Lol!

Climate controls in the room were poor. Had to sleep with the balcony open just to try to keep it cool enough in the room. Secondly, I went to the small bar the last evening I was there and was somewhat rudely told they were closing and I needed to go to the main bar. I went over and finally left the bar empty handed. The bar wasnt empty but wasnt that busy either. I waited and followed the bartender back and forth trying to get a drink and finally got tired of being ignored. She knew I was there no question as she looked me right in the eye but wasnt terribly worried about getting me anything to drink. My brother in law and sister in law stay here frequently which is why we stayed there, but I was not exactly ecstatic about it. Very pretty hotel, but it may take some significant convincing for me to go back.
