We do not personally rent from Century 21 so our rating is souly based on the agents professionalism. Michelle Rankin was one of the many agents who had been showing our rental home as it is coming up for lease. She has been by far the most respectful of agents who has come through and I am so grateful for that. She rang the door bell, stated her name and gave me her business card. As well as held great professionalism with her clients. I wished we were renting through Century 21 in order to receive this great professionalism and kindness.

Just like others have said in their reviews, Century 21 are the worst at property management. We live in a young neighborhood and are excited about taking care of our property. The upkeep on their vacant property is horrible, the grass is so high you can't even walk through it for fear of snakes. It makes all the other properties around it look horrible and unappealing. I have called twice about the yard issue, the first time (on a Saturday) the lady at the office said the property was due to be serviced. Tuesday came along and no one had been out to cut the grass, I called back again and received attitude over the phone and was told "uh, yeah someone called Saturday about this and the work order has been put in, someone should be out there by the end of the week." Well, it is Thursday and guess what the grass still hasn't been cut. I was actually thinking about selling my house within a year or two, and using them. If they are this incompetent with yard maintence , I cant image what they do with selling a house. I have provided pics for everyone to see.

Well I lived in one of this company's property's from Dec 2010 to august 2012 and with in 30 days of moving in in December the heat went out and they did not fix it for almost a month and did not credit me any rent for the month and said it was because they gave me a space heater that could only heat one room at a time and made my electric bill well over 300 for the month. In august of 2011 the septic tank began flooding my back yard I called them multiple times and they sent a truck to pump it out 3 times but did not fix it and it continued to flood my yard with human waste. Eight months later the septic tank flooded my house with human waste on a Friday afternoon I called them around 4pm and told them I could not use any water without more sewage coming into the house. They did not do anything about this until Monday afternoon so I lived in a house full of human waste for 3 days. The AC ran 14 hours or more non stop during the summer and it was still 80 degrees in the house. Every time I called about this issue they sent some one out and than said it was my fault for not changing the air cleaner every month and charged me for the service call, I changed it every two weeks because it was full from running 14-16 hours a day non stop. The front and back porch had large holes in the deck and boards that were coming loose and causing a trip hazard almost the entire time I lived there they fixed this three months before I moved out. I had all the damage documented with the health Dpt and with the company but was still charged for the damage caused from the house being flooded when I moved out. So if you want to live in a horrible place ran by a company that belligerently breaks the law on the reg and want to make lots of money from suing them I would suggest living in one of there property's.

Michael Matthews is the best rental agent in the city of Jacksonville. I have nothing but great service with the staff at Century 21 Champion. Everyone is kind, courteous, helpful and friendly from the receptionist to all of the agents. I am glad that they are who I now rent from and if I am ever in the market to purchase a home, Century 21 Champion will be the ONLY real estate company I will trust. I highly recommend them before you go anywhere else. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from me.

RUN!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

RUN!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5 months to get broken windows fixed, 3+ months for a broken stove, and right now they wont fix my AC because its December. Even though its usually about 8 degrees hotter in the house than outside (75 today and supposed to be 80 tomorrow). These people seem to go out of their way to NOT help their paying customers. I was cited an instruction saying that unless its 90 degrees outside they don't consider air conditioning an emergency BUT, they could not produce this instruction. Instead they pointed me to the North Carolina landlord-tenant agreement, Ch42-42 sub section 8 letter (H) saying they follow this law.....Just in case you are wondering that is entirely about heating and does not even mention air conditioning. So apparently Century 21 believes they have the right to say what temp the inside of my house needs to be and I have to continue paying full rent in a house that is not fully operational. I literally could not imagine renting from a worse company. If you care about customer service at all don't do business with these people!

If I could give Scott Hardee and 0 rating I would. Absolute WORST agent to work with. Lazy. Lazy. Lazy. Had a contract fall through because he didn t answer our call for 4 days! Then refused to show us houses after that, always had an excuse why we shouldnt look at houses. The worst experience for sure!!!! Seriously recommend anyone else here!
Kelly the manager was so wonderful and understanding with our situation and so apologetic! Don t go for Scott at all, he was so unprofessional.

I wish you could just rate a place POOR. DO NOT RENT FROM CENTURY 21 Champion!

First of all the woman at the front desk is painful to deal with. She never acknowledges you when you walk in and will finish whatever she is doing first like trying to fix her space heater or jam her wedding rings onto her finger. You just awkwardly stand there at the desk until she feels the need to acknowledge you. Then when she does talk to you she acts as if you are a total inconvenience to her.

We rented from them for almost 3 years. We were never once late on rent and never once gave them a bad check. There were two times that we were out of town and had to mail in our rent. The first time I sent it from PA. I called a few days before it was due to make sure they had gotten it. I was surprised when they said it wasn't there because we usually get mail from PA in less than 3 days. They called back a few minutes later and said "Oh I found it it, it was under a pile of papers on the desk". The second time I mailed it from NM. Again I called to make sure they had received it, the answer again was no. We get mail from my MIL in Maui in less than 5.....They then told us that it came in late, (they had it the day after it was due) but they couldn't cash it and we would have to get a money order with a $50 late fee when we got back. I to this day do not believe it too more than 9 days for the check to get there. I'm sure they had it in a pile somewhere and didn't find it until it was late.

When my husband did the walk through they told him that if there were any issues they would contact us so we could take care of it ourselves and not be charged for it. They did call him because we had forgotten a large pull up bar in the back that we never used. He went over, chopped it up and got rid of it. We apparently had also forgotten to take a few decals of the wall in one of the bathrooms and forgot to put the attic cover back on (it was still there in the garage, we just forgot to put it back in place). They charged us $70 dollars to do that. I called about 30 days after moving out asked why it was $70 because it seemed excessive for a something that would have taken about 5 minutes to do. When I asked why they didn't call to notify us about that stuff so we could take care of it and I explained what they had told my husband, and the fact they called us about the pull up bar, their response was that that was not their policy and she doesn't know who told us that. Well it is not my fault your employees apparently don't know your policies! After I got over the initial anger of the situation I decided to let it go, it was only $70. When I was talking to them about it I had mentioned to them that I had put up 4 brand new light fixtures in the house. I got my deposit back today and there was $212 taken out of it. There was a receipt to replace the light fixture in the dining room that was written 41 DAYS AFTER we moved out (11 days after I called about the $70). When I called to ask about it she said it was brought to her attention that the light fixture was different....So you mean I brought it to your attention and didn't notice in the pictures you took that you had for 41 DAYS?!?!?! Of course they sent the security deposit on the 60th day after moving out.

Century 21 Champion Real Estate is the only agency...

Century 21 Champion Real Estate is the only agency to work with in the Jacksonville Area. We purchased our house through them and they have been the Property Manager for that house since 2000 when we moved oversee. In the close to 15 years we have used them I have never had a bad experience with the Property Management team at this agency. I would like to especially recognize Michael Matthews, who I have been working with recently. What a total professional from a home owner's opinion.
After reading other reviews, it seems clear to me that the reviews should be split into to separate sections. One area for home owners and one area for renters. So for all the home owners looking for a property manager, you cannot find a better team to take care of your home then the Century 21 Champion Property Management Team.

One star is too good for this company. Do not rent from them. They have terrible customer service, they dont care about their tenants. They couldn't care less about the safety of their tenants. They are rude and extremely inconsiderate. They put my families safety and security at risk.

They don't clean the houses or change carpets before move ins. Don't do annual checks or inspections. Neglectful when notified of broken appliances. Not to mention moving in August with NO AIR CONDITIONER FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND! We had to wait for Monday. This should have been taken care of beforehand. We had to move our things into a hot, sticky unclean house. All around not a good real estate company. Dealt with them for 3 years. Do not recommend at all. Take your business where tenants are actually appreciated and you don't have to clean up the pubes of the person who lived there before you!

Worst ever. These people do not have a clue how to Operate a business. Last year my ac broke and it took well over a month. Yes, over a month to get it "fixed". And again guess what just happen, it broke again. They keep asking for me renew a lease where my ex wife is on it. Been divorced for over 2 years and I have told them approximately 7-8 times she no longer lives here. There is so many things wrong with this company. Not one good thing I can say about it. These are just the big issues I have had with them. There are several smaller things but I do not want to write a novel on here.

AVOID this office if you can. Especially a agent by the name of Danielle Licavoli. She only wants to work with people spending a certain amount. She has her nose stuck so far in the air it is disgusting. She discriminates from lower class and has a very bad attitude. She never answer calls or emails. Sheisty person. Avoid a headache believe me.

My Agent is Sharon Moon. This is the 1st time for me selling a home. She is awesome. She explains things clearly in terms I can understand. She has taken her personal off duty time to help me pick out what makes the home sell. She went with me to pick new vanities & sinks for both bathrooms. Helped me with the major hassles I have repeatedly had with an incompetent company that installed flooring (not carpet) in my home. The installers trashed my home. She helped get that straight through resourses she has. She also helped me make sure I had made good choices in painting inside/outside colors along with tile & carpet choices the house has turned out awesome. She even helped me remove old dried up paint on back patio. She's easy to talk to & reassuring when I was at my wit's end several times. She has the experience needed to make buying or selling a home an experience that will be positive. She also has patience which definitely was needed with me. I highly recommend her for all real estate needs.

An absolutely HORRIBLE group to work with!! I am appalled at the way Century 21 Champion takes advantage of young military couples. They should be ashamed of the way they lie to and trick young, inexperienced people- all for the sake of them making money. They do not care about taking care of the renter s/buyer s needs- all Century 21 Champion wants to do is lock you into a contract. Forget about them taking care of any repairs or problems you may have. And you will not receive any of your security deposit back after renting, either. No matter how good of a tenant you are.
Not only are their services terrible, the employees are extremely rude and unhelpful. Especially DARA COOK - the rudest, laziest excuse for a "property manager" I've ever met - she shouldn't be allowed to work with people! And the secretary at the front desk is almost as bad.
I'm VERY sorry I wasted time and trust in this group. They should be shut down.
Military families be warned. Do not work with Century 21 Champion Real Estate.

Gina Rabassi has been vital in helping me get my real estate photography business off the ground. I am so grateful to her for having faith in me to take her listing photos. Looking forward to a long professional relationship.

I tried to be courteous and professional with Century 21. I had a pipe leak shortly after I moved in, notified Century 21, and they asked me to fix it myself. Trying to be a good tenant, I did. A tree came down on the homeowner's fence during a hurricane, again I took care of it. When the dishwasher motherboard broke, century w1 left us without once for about three months.
When I moved out I vacuumed the floors, which were all hardwood, no carpet, swept and mopped. I had the fireplace inspected and even used a Mr Vlean sponge to clean some of the closet baseboards that were dirty when we moved in. Stil, Century 21 charged me over $79 for a sweeping service, then $115 to put up a piece of plywood in the laundry room that we'd asked their maintenance guy to take down with about 4 screws...$115! The house was in better condition when we left than we received it in, even patched up small holes from the previous tenant.
They've been the most difficult property management company I've dealt with in 20 years of moving with the military.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. The people who work here are rude and completely unreliable. If I need anything done I have to hold their hands for it to happen especially if I want my rent paid on time when I mail it in. I could speak volumes about the poor quality of this agency but I would rather you take away a simple message: AVOID THESE PEOPLE.

The Real Estate agency has provided great service to me and my family for the past 6 months. We have had a few repairs with the home and they were all taken care of in a timely manner. The contractors that they use are professional and courteous. The agents are great people and work with you to find you the home you are looking for and help to ensure that the home is taken care of. I would highly recommend this agency.

Been renting from this company for years and we had some issues in the past however lately it seems to have gotten worse. I am continuously letting them know of the same issues. Out of the many things wrong with the rental property only 1 has gotten fixed after my son was injured. It's sad. 1 good note, most of the staff are friendly. Update: still a lot problems and more on top but nothing has been done. Zero stars if i could. Update 4/29: After last update, A staff member has reached out to me, will continue to update more later. Update: 4/30 moving in the right direction, open communication. Update: 5/7 Things are getting done and with better communication. Last vendor that came out to fix one of the issues was a nice, polite and honest. Update: no longer renting from them. Beware. -

When I moved in- three 3 electrical sockets broken were exposed, I filled out the move in check list and 2 weeks later they still didn't fix. I had crawling toddler at the time. Didn't want her to get shocked due to the code violation.

I looked up the landlords info online and wrote a letter, they were fixed the next day.

Century 21 Champion is understaffed and has broken processes. They also don't understand the law.

For example, my AC unit broke. I called them and did a ticket online. The home was under a warranty, and the person the warranty was with couldn't get to the home for 4 days. I called my own guy and paid $150 for a capacitor. My own money. Got it fixed the same day. Plenty of HVAC guys would have done it. It was 90 degrees out. No HVAC is a health and safety issue in 90 degree heat. This is where the law kicks in. 4 days isn't reasonable. I sent the landlord a note to her house, that was the last straw for me that they reasonably expect me to be in a house for 4 days with no AC in 90 degree heat. They probably treat their own dogs better.

There are some staff there that are friendly and nice, but they are overwhelmed. They motivated me to buy my own home since I was paying all the repairs anyway. So it worked out. They don't respect you at a human level. That's why I'm sharing, it's personal how bad they treat you. Its very disrespectful. They think because you aren't an owner, they can treat you like a lower class person and leave you sweating for 4 days in 90 degree heat. You gonna get this review too, I been planning this one since the summer.

I would recommend all tenants look up who their owner is online and just write letters directly, it was the only way I ever got anything fixed was to go around Century 21.

At first I could tell this company was better than Barbara Canavan realty but still not perfect. I will say they over time they have gotten better here. we moved into our home not ready with no AC in the middle of June and it took over a Month to get it fixed and throughout the months that we stayed there our lengthy list of maintenance requests were never fixed. But after a little bit of changes in the staffing and a very nice move out inspecting girl we were able to get our full security deposit returned to us.

Avoid these people at all costs. Rented a property through them and when I went to look at the house I eventually rented, dead roaches all over the house, ants everywhere. They have terrible customer service and even worse responses when it comes to having any maintenance done to the property, it seems that they make you wait as long as possible without running water or working A/C before they decide to send someone out. Not to mention, if you start getting mold, you don t notice it, and you move out, they will withhold your security deposit and charge you $500+ for just the mold removal. This company just constantly takes advantage of the service members and their families

Agency I would never rent s house again if they were involved. Extremely rude and not helpful.

I bought my house through Century 21 in 2007. It was an absolute amazing process couldn't ask for better first home buying experience. Then in 2009 I started renting my house out with Century 21 based on the rapport that was built in 2007. However I was matched with DARA COOK a property manager. The first year she did well then quickly put my concerns and my property on the back burner of everything. Trying to rip my off anyway she could what felt like to make money for her friends when repairs arose. I have AHS home warranty and I instructed them to use it instead of calling just anyone to do my repairs. Needless to say she tried her best to avoid using them. I had to call AHS and give her permission to call in on my behalf to make claims when repairs needed to be taken care of. However numerous times DARA and her assistants would call me and tell me that so and so had already fixed the issue without using my home warranty that I had instructed them to use. Then she began lying about not being able to call them or get a hold of AHS so she had to use one of her hand picked minions to do the repair. I began researching when she called or attempted to make a claim on my behalf. Amazingly AHS logs everything whether it is a phone call or and internet claim attempt or just a simple contact from someone on that account. After providing this information to DARA she instructed me that she must have used the old account number. So I went back and check my old account number the exact same way and nothing... no call and not internet contact from DARA COOK. However she was able to contact her repair buddies and get them to come out and charge me their crazy prices for the repair. So I called her back and informed her that neither account was used. She said we she don't know what happened b/c she did call and they were wrong. Good try DARA but epic failure to take responsibility for you wrong doings. Then when I decided to remove my house in December of 2013 I received my final inspection and promised all the issues would be fixed immediately. It is now February 18, 2013 not one thing has been replaced or fixed however conveniently I found out today her repair GURU was paid in December for fixing/replacing the issues in my home. So I went in yesterday and asked to speak with someone besides DARA and whom do they give me the pleasure of speaking with... good ole DARA COOK. She for whatever reason couldn't understand why I was so upset. Maybe just maybe it was because you absolutely take no pride in your job and other peoples property. You try to help out your repair minions by giving them work while screwing over your property owner. She didn't know what needed to be fixed or replaced and being the property manager whether you do the job yourself or have your assistance do it you should keep track of what is done and not done. I am not saying you have to remember everything but have it readily accessible via hard copies, soft copies, or somehting. Basically do your freaking job and quit blaming everyone and everything else for you slacking work ethic.

I wouldn't recommend DARA COOK to anyone as a property manager she is a crook and habitual manipulator. She cares nothing about you or your property. All she cares about is her and her repair buddies bank account. Being this is the first review I have ever written on anyone or anything I will make it my goal to find every website I can review for DARA COOK and ensure no one else is screwed around like I have been.

My realtor Danielle Licavoli was amazing my husband and I purchased our first house in November through her. When we met Danielle she was approachable, sociable and very interested in us we told her what we wanted in our house she really listened and captured everything in our conversations. She literally had everything in our house and not one thing was missing. If there was a magazine and you could pick color, flooring, space etc..then she did 100%. There was nothing missing in our home. The whole process every step of the way she was there she didn't let me and my husband get discouraged even though we wanted to at times. We did a short sale and she was very attentive to keeping in contact with everyone and letting us know if there was change even if there was no change. When we finally closed she made sure that everything was in order and made our dreams come true!! I would recommend her to anyone.

Do not work with these people. Its been 3 months and I still have not recieved my deposit back. They charged me for a dog smell in the house and I never had a dog in the house (even after i paid for the carpet to be professionally cleaned). This is among other rediculous things they charged me for (removing items that I forgot in the back yard instead of calling me to come get it they threw it away.) They do not care about the customer- only the money. And they were rude the entire contract.

Michael Matthews is who we deal with there. We are tenants in Swansboro and from the beginning he has been nothing but professional, prompt, and helpful. After renting less than one year, my wife phoned him to ask a question and he knew our address by memory just on hearing her name! We continue to be impressed Michael's service and promptness.

do not rent from this agency they do not take care of the property you rent. They let my mother go without ac for a month. An 85 yearold. Never fix it. She moved out. Window were painted shut. Beware!!! Also it seems like a daycare instead of a real estate agency. Does not even rate a star.

Renting a property from Century 21 Champion Real Estate was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. The property management employees did not place work orders in a timely manner (or at all in most cases) or communicate necessary repairs to the home owner. I would call and leave messages, send emails, and even stop by their office, but was always given the run around or completely ignored. I rented one of their properties for a year and had numerous issues with the property from: water leaking from the ceiling, ants, the fence falling a part, heating and air conditioner unit not working correctly, etc. Never have I seen a property management company disregard the rights of the their tenants so blatantly . As other comments have stated, almost everyone in this office is rude and unhelpful. This organization only cares about receiving their rent payments on time and not in the upkeep of their properties. Century 21 Champion real estate appears to treat individuals who are renting from them with little to no respect. My experience with them was so horrible that I absolutely refuse to work with Century 21 ever again! Beware.

Worst experience of my life. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK! Even when you leave the house in 10x better conditions as when you moved in! We have done nothing but make this house and yard look SO much better and out our own money into this house so we lived in a nice clean house, but the inspectors LIE like crazy so you don't get it back! More money for them. Don't rent from these money hungry liars..

If I could give a zero I would. First off, these people are very lazy. Every time we have put in a maintenance request it takes weeks for them to correct the issue. I have learned to just fix the items on my own, even though it costs me hundreds of dollars. When it comes down to lease renewal time they will take a month to write a new lease. I had to contact the landlord directly to let them know how their property was being managed. It was only then that they took action. We received orders to PCS. We gave them almost two months notice and they cannot even give us an inspection date. They claim they do not do inspections on the weekends. However, in my lease agreement it states they are open for business from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays, which is a misrepresentation. They will tell you if you have a pet you have to spray for pests. Again, this is not in the lease agreement. They will try and give you a different move out cleaning conditions document that does not match the one you received with your lease. Finally, they operate their business in a military town, so you would think they understand the PCS process, which they do not. Giving them a window of two days you need your house inspected almost two months away, they will tell you they may not be able to inspect your house on those dates and you may need to move your PCS dates. That they would not know your date until a week or two before hand. Are these people clueless? You just do not up and tell the military one to two weeks out from your PCS that you cannot move, because the property managers could not get their act together to inspect your home. I cannot wait to share this with everyone I know who is moving to the Lejeune area.

I paid 40 dollars to submit an application to rent a property weeks ago. I had to call back a couple days later and they stated it wasn't finished yet. I submitted the application 11 July they never called me back. I called them back on 29 July and they told me its been approved for a couple of days now. But no call back huh....

**I'm almost a month into my lease with nothing fixed, no efforts to fix things, just the run around. I wish I would have just listened to the reviews and rented elsewhere. I've never experienced anything like this in my life--most of the staff is uncaring and rude. Those that aren't seem to be trapped between needing to have a job and being happy. I've e-mailed, called, stopped by and still can't get any type of timeline on when things will be fixed. The e-mails I have received just place the blame on the homeowner not having enough money or not wanting to do the repairs. By far the worst and most unprofessional PM company I've ever worked with or rented from. STAY AWAY**

So far my experience has been ok. I've been working with Michael Matthews and he has been wonderful throughout the process and has gone above and beyond to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

The company overall needs to improve their procedures, however. Renting out properties that are lacking basic upkeep is bad business. You can only blame the owner but so much; if they're not wanting to maintain their properties, don't rent their units. Ultimately it reflects bad on the company as they represent the owner. Properties should be cleaned and repair-free (aside from permanent damage that doesn't infringe on the renter) before move-in. Shouldn't have to be dealing with blown light bulbs, a malfunctioning lock, putting up towel bars, food left in cabinets, etc.

Hoping they do the necessary repairs and make a good effort to make things right.

Run and don't look back!!!!!! We have been renting from this company for a little over 6 months and I can't wait until the lease is over. The property that we live in is pleasant but there wasn't proper preparation done before we moved in. The house just wasn't totally move in ready. We liked the house size and location but the home had a few ants in the kitchen. They said they wouldn't spray until we signed the contract, which didn't make any sense to me. Running out of time we reluctantly moved in and within two days there were literally over a hundred ants in our clothes hamper. The ants started popping up all over the house and it was so bad that we couldn't cook. There were more than 10 missing light bulbs and a lot of bulbs were blown. One of the ac unit were broken and the home had a few other issues that weren't previously known. It obvious that management don't have any idea as to how a property management company is suppose to operate. I don't know if they are, but they operate like a family owned business where no one is held accountable. All good property management have a check list of the things that should be done before someone can move into a property. You can't have doors or windows that won't shut nor can you have obviously missing light bulbs. Champion say that their rental property or as- is. Champion home purchases or as- is not rentals! I understand that the home doesn't have to be perfect but there are certain things that should be done. Tenants are NOT responsible for repairs unless they have negligently contributed to the damages. A leaking sink is not a tenant responsibility because it's is likely caused by worn internal parts. Please people don't rent your home out if you are not ready for the responsibilities that come with being a landlord. I know some people rent their home for financial reasons but you don't get to collect money and never do repairs that are necessary. Homeowners should make their homes livable and PLEASE pick a management company that will be reasonable to your tenant. If you don't do these things you will have a high turnover rate, which will cost you the homeowner more money in the long turn. Homeowners spend a few hundreds if you have it and put up good permanent curtains rods and/or blinds and do everything to make your home more appealing and livable because your tenants will stay longer (Possibly past their one year lease). I like when curtain rods are hanging because all I have to do is hang my own curtain. Curtains help to block any wind draft and that decreases the heating bill during the winter. Homeowner know that any repairs or improvements can be written off on your federal taxes. Every amount is important but you deserve some respect when you are spending over $1100 a month to rent someone's home. Champion get it together and stop this AS IS stuff.

Now this gets tricky people. If you request a maintenance call they will get with you. But you have to realize that the homeowner is the one who pays the bill. And my homeowner is currently in Japan. So, with timezones it takes a day or so to get things fixed. Champion has a really nice staff and do try to help anyway possible. Like I am a subcontractor so my pay is up and down. I came here 8/2018 and I was prepared for the ups and downs. Until we got blasted with a hurricane. I am a flooring subcontractor so when homes had to be dry first that put my profession in last place. So, without work, my money dwindling and crooks like Ally Storm Claims(CROOKS) we had Century21 Champion and homeowner help us out. So, if they will help me they will help you too
We are still in our home today 06/01/2020. Good company to work with.

If I could give them a 0 I would. They are rude. I have not interacted with everyone there but the few I have met are rude. The neighborhood we live in is nice and the house it nice AFTER we cleaned it up once we moved in. It was not move in ready as far as cleanliness. I can not wait until our lease is up. Would like to stay in the neighborhood but will definitely rent through another company. Horrible management company.

The worst company have had nothing but problems since the hurricane. NOT ONE person came out to look at the place I was renting when it was damaged. And on top of that the home owner did nothing! They couldn t get ahold of the owner but I was still paying rent and living with ceiling that was about to come down. I was ALWAYS the one that had to call to see what was going on. Once they finally got ahold of the owners months after the hurricane I kept hearing the same thing over and over about having to send someone over to do prices. Once I told them I was leaving that s when the home owner decided to have the work done. But yet they wanted to take time out of my day to let the workers in? While I m working full time, in the middle of packing, and never had anyone to fix it while living in the rental? Not once have I ever been late on a payment better yet I took care of the house and got treated like that? Was ridiculous. The property manager doesn t have a clue about anything better yet would say they would call you back.... and never get a phone call. Was just a very stressful experience to go through when u did nothing wrong!

I have never rented a place through this company, but I did use Kerry Reid as my realtor. She did a fantastic job my family and I wanted a place that we could stay at for at least 3 years so we were being very picky and wanted to see all of our options. We must have looked at 15 houses before we were ready to decide and she was glad to help us each evening and take us through all these houses. She was always available to get in contact with whenever we had questions. We have pets so she had to contact each place to see if they would allow them and we always had the answer right away. She just did a great job helping us find a great home, and being as attentive as she possibly could. Highly recommend her!

We had a problem with an agent. Pamela Furtney, the broker, immediately went and told the agent despite our request for discretion. We did not wish to hurt his feelings. In doing as she did, she created an awkward, hurtful situation. Then she refused to call us or release us from our buyer/agent agreement, effectively elimating our beach house search in the Emerald Isle area. The entire situation was handled most unprofessionally and is headed towards litigation.

The problem with this agency starts at the top, and the MULTIPLE one-star reviews here speak volumes. Ms. Furtney needs to exit the real estate business.

Please I urge you to take some of the reviews seriously. I left my first review on their Facebook page and even told the woman I spoke with that I will be leaving my review, they then took their reviews section down off of Facebook after I posted mine. So here is my review again based on facts and actual events. We rented this house the end of Aug. last year. We were never told that this home was for sale. Ever. What that meant for us is that we would be getting requests for viewings well before the 90 day period/lockbox agreement. Which we understood the 90 day lockbox agreement but we didnt know we would be dealing with viewings before this. one day a woman shows up to the home we are renting and she said she is there to show the home. Mind you we had no idea about any of this so imagine random people showing up to see a house and you had no clue. I was mad. This is how we came to find out what was really going on. Fast foward a little bit we ask the owner (thru Centiry 21 via Michael) if we can move early cause we do not feel we should have to deal with this if we were never told to begin with and he says no. Okay, nothing else we can do. Shortly after we get our response Michael calls my cell phone on a thursday or friday afternoon to tell us that he spoke with the owner again and he said he really wants the house sold so we are now allowed to move. We spent the weekend looking for a home which we did find. Then called on Monday to let them know hey we found a home. Michael then tells us that the owner has changed his mind about us moving. Seriously? I would say 3 weeks ago almost four I called their office to see if we could possibly extend the lease because we dont know how fast orders will drop. Against my better judgement and deciding that it would be easier if we could instead of moving and then turning around and PCSING. Well we never heard back from Michael. Until, Well Monday July 6th 2015 I receive a text message for a SAME DAY viewing from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Me and my husband were livid. First off majority of viewing requests have been same day with not very much notice especially because we both work. We cannot leave our job for a house that is not our to come show it for a few minutes. We also have kids. So we get this request and I reply NO. Guess who calls my phone. Micheal. Im only rude to businesses that start with me first and he calls with a attitude. He begins his call with my questions about extending(which at this point is really irrelevant given the circumstances and how long it took for us to even be worth his time to call when he needs something or needs to know something himself.) so I fired back at him. I told him to not even worry about it cause we dont want anything at all to do with this company anymore regardless and that we will just move and be completely done with Century 21 Champion to which he smartly replies well you dont have a choice on moving. This is correct, trust me we dont want to hold this house hostage. Believe me. We can definately take our business else where and leave a honest and accurate review to really warn people though. Mind you I called for a full week straight to get a response to our extension question and I believe I left two messages at the most. Never ever heard back from this man until he needed to get an answer from us regarding a viewing. Shortly after my call with him I spoke with a woman who was much more reasonable. She offered to help us find another home when this lease is up but I honestly have had my fill of this town and their business tactics so we will be moving onbase and we would rather that money go to them and know that base housing doesnt play games at all than to be treated the way this company has so far. Just be careful, get everything in writing. Trust nothing verbal. Another note: the home was filthy when we moved in. I documented a great deal of the already existing damages in the home. But im sure given the attitude between us we will be pinned and dried of our deposit. Please just be careful if you go with this company.

The worst property management company ever. Their office is in disarray because they don't talk to each other. I have had to authorize the same repair several times. I've had them charge me for services they didn't preform. I would never rent or use them as property management company again.
