I tried to be courteous and professional with Century 21. I had a pipe leak shortly after I moved in, notified Century 21, and they asked me to fix it myself. Trying to be a good tenant, I did. A tree came down on the homeowner's fence during a hurricane, again I took care of it. When the dishwasher motherboard broke, century w1 left us without once for about three months.
When I moved out I vacuumed the floors, which were all hardwood, no carpet, swept and mopped. I had the fireplace inspected and even used a Mr Vlean sponge to clean some of the closet baseboards that were dirty when we moved in. Stil, Century 21 charged me over $79 for a sweeping service, then $115 to put up a piece of plywood in the laundry room that we'd asked their maintenance guy to take down with about 4 screws...$115! The house was in better condition when we left than we received it in, even patched up small holes from the previous tenant.
They've been the most difficult property management company I've dealt with in 20 years of moving with the military.
