Service tech was spot on in his service of our ac system. Discovered a pitted contactor which could have caused more problems if not replaced. Very polite and efficient. Glad to be a client of Bruno Air.

had bruno air out for first time and did a much more thorough and detailed maintenance than any other ac company i have had before. the tech was very knowledgeable and concerned about doing an excellent service. i would recommend them very highly. the tech that came out was matt k. and because he did such and efficient service i will request that he does all my service in the future if possible.

I ve waited over a year to make this review hoping my experience would improve. In June of 2017 I had Bruno do complete new duct work and a brand new a/c unit. The install was only ok as they took longer than originally told. But that would have been fine if we didn t continue to have issues with our new unit. In a one year period we have had 8 service calls on a brand new unit with all new duct work. I even purchased additional products after the the original install. At the one year mark I asked three separate times for a manager to call me to discuss what we were going to do after the warranty expires. I didn t feel I had purchased a reliable unit. At this point I ve not heard from anyone. Plus I ve had several friends tell me they wished they had known I called Bruno that they would have stopped me. I will say the service techs are very nice and helpful. Overall worst A/C experience I would run the other way if you re shopping for new unit.

Marshall was very courteous, but as I just recently had surgery we are unable at this time ro proceed with his recommendations. As my air conditioner is only 5 years old I am having difficulty understanding why I would need to spend $5,000 for additional equipment especially since the AC was barely run during those 5 years. It seems to me a through cleaning with bleach should remove the mold. Others on my condo tell me they have not had this problem and some of their air conditioners are older than mine.

Darren provided me with EXCEPTIONAL service. He had a pleasant personality, a profound knowledge of my system and was very patient in explaining every step of my repair. Darren also took quite a bit of time educating me about potential future issues and what I could do to maintain my AC in between visits. I had previously been a customer of another HVAC company but the fast response coupled with Darren's unparalleled customer service has surely turned me into a Bruno Air Conditioning patron.

Called to have our AC looked at and tech came out and dumped all the freon out and unplugged wires and said that he would need to send out a senior tech. They wanted to charge $175.00 for the senior tech. No one called. Called another company and they came out and fixed it for $125.00 and were he for 30 mins. Called Bruno air to inform about the tech dumping all the freon out and wires and was told that I would get a call from a supervisor! Tech didn't know what he was doing! That is the only reason why we will never use them again. Finally supervisor just called and informed that they will take care of the bill from the other ac repair person which is great! But I would never want to go threw this experience again. We had no problem paying the bill. This was just very inconvenient and made more work for us.

Darrenn came out and worked through all of our problems. He explained everything and was very professional. The office staff was respectful and efficient. I would recommend this company, especially Darren!

UPDATE: Our new unit was installed yesterday when we weren't home. We came home and the unit was off and not operating. The office staff said they would get me on the schedule for the following day. I was annoyed at that point because, A. The unit was less than 4 hours old and not working and B. I had faith in their service/install capabilities to where I wasn't here to ensure it was done correctly. The drain want draining correctly. It's now 5 hours later and the unit has shut off again. They said the soonest they could get someone out here after 9 am. Danny showed up around 7:30 and got me up and running by cleaning the drain again. My experience with the service techs is awesome. The office staff, doesn't seem to know alot and tries to be polite but can't give answers when you need them.

My service technician was Jerry S. He was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. I knew I needed a new a/c system and had a lot of questions. Jerry answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. He helped me pick a new system that met my needs and budget - no pressure. This was a very positive experience and I will definitely recommend Bruno Air to my friends and family !!

Bruno air had a FREE cleaning special for new clients so we decided to try them. We were told the arrival window was 12-3pm and the tech showed up at 430pm. The tech was here for 1 hour, he opened the air handler and spent most of the hour trying to scare me into buying a brand new unit for $5500.00 and told me that the unit was just days away from a total shut down. In that same hour he did clear the drain pipe (took 5 minutes) and he did vac some condensation water from the drip pan (took 5 minutes) but he never cleaned anything and actually emailed me a 25 page ridiculous estimate for that brand new unit that was so needed.... Today I got a second opinion and the honest hvac guy cleaned the unit, and told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the AC and it was running fine.... Overall, the tech we got was a very good salesman and I could tell that he was very well trained on high pressure sales... Be careful and do your homework with Bruno Air...They will never see us again!!

Service Technician Brandon came out to my home on July 8th, 2016. Brandon was a nice guy although, his company is yet another culprit of lousy, business tactics. Tried up-selling way too much although I expected it. Thought would be paying $45 for a 51 point inspection only to pay $120 total for some maintenance agreement. It's ridiculous the amount of nonsense one must endure when bringing companies out to your home only to have them try to take you financially. Yes, my unit is 10 years old. Yes, my electric bill for the summer hovers at $200/mo for a family of four to keep the thermostat at 78 F. However, to tell me I need $2000+ in repairs or buy a comparable unit of THEIR make (which I've never heard of before) for $5000+. I'll shop around or just have the condenser replaced. That's ridiculous.

I am thoroughly impressed with the professionalism that Marshall Sikes and Brandon Murphy conveyed during my service meeting with them today. My frustration led me to leave my previous service contract as I have lost confidence in Coastal Cooling's ability to fulfill quality service and lucky led me to this company. Marshall explained the costly repairs I had to make in detail and honestly for the first time made me feel like I wasn't just being sold something. Marshall and Brandon empathized with me over my previous frustration with the other A/C company and gave me the confidence that this repair and the work they suggested will remedy the situation. I can't thank them enough for their honest explanation of what is going on and in lay man's terms so I can really understand what needs to be done. I look forward to investing more money in a business that treats its customers as good as this. I already have confidence in the service technicians that actually do the work because they are under the same management and values!

Unbelievable Customer Service! I had Bruno replace my entire air conditioning system this past August, which they did a Great Job with. Then on Christmas Eve, with my entire family visiting from out of state, my unit started tripping the electrical breaker without notice. I called Bruno, and someone was at my house in 20 minutes. Darren S. completely checked my unit, and found that a lizard had made the ultimate sacrifice between the two terminals of the internal capacitor. He checked out the rest of the unit, even reprogramming my thermostat for me. Darren was very professional and courteous, and even wore protective booties on his shoes before entering my house. Bruno is by far the best professional service for air conditioning that you can get, and has Great people like Darren S. to represent their company.

Bruno Air Conditioning recently came to my home to for a routine cleaning of my A/C unit. During the process, the technician told me that the round run cap (45+3 MFD 440V) was worn, leaking oil and should be replaced. I asked how much; he said $350, and he had one in his truck and could replace it right then. I was concerned that the price sounded excessive, so I googled it and saw that I could order one on Amazon for $11.76! I showed him the page on line, and he confirmed that it was the correct part. He said "there's nothing wrong with making a profit." I asked him if it would be all right for me to order it myself and have him return to install it. He said he would for a $75 service fee. But he never informed me in the first place that I could save $250 that way. He offered me that alternative only because I had found out the actual price of the item. Making a profit is fine, but a mark-up of nearly 3000% is price gouging. This is a company that takes advantage of its customers. One can only wonder how many elderly and unsuspecting consumers were gouged by Bruno Air Conditioning. Before you let these people into your home, hold on to your wallet and count your silverware.

my Air was not working I had heard good things from my neighbors about Bruno Air so
I decided to call them. The technician arrived within an hour and had my unit up and running
within a half an hour. He explained everything that was going on with my unit and answered all my questions he even waived my 75.00 service charge and only charged me for repairs. My
neighbors were right i would definately call Bruno Air again.

My A/C drain line was clogged, they arrived the same day promptly. Darren the tech was awesome, he even fixed my screen door! Great service, very happy. I've used Bruno for a few things and the customer service has been excellent, I'd rather pay a little more and know I'm covered then have to deal with a lot of problems and little to no help or huge delays.

Tried to schedule 3 times just couldn't seem to get them out on our real estate purchase to inspect and possibly replace the unit after purchase. Had owner approval, real estate agent called I called. Wasted time an effort. Wasn't that difficult or a request.

My A/C stopped working in the evening of July 3. In the morning of July 4 I called for service and I would not have been surprised if the holiday caused a problem. It did not. The answering service said that a technician would call me shortly before his arrival.

Around noon I received the call. Technician Mike Walters apologized for the delay and said that would arrive in about an hour. He did and the repair took about an hour and a half.

Mike explained what the problem(s) and what he did to correct them. The charge for the service was reasonable. I was able to pay with a credit card which is not unusual these days but it is still a convenience.

I signed up with Air Genie about two years ago shortly before they were acquired by Bruno A/C. Under either name the service has been quite good.

Take a good look at the recent reviews. This Company is not interested in providing quality annual service. They are most interested in selling expensive upgrades to your current system (such as surge protectors, air purifier UV lighting, total home maintenance contracts, etc) all at very inflated prices. Their Service people are trained to sell additional items or services before provide a quality checkup. They have managed to sell me extras during their last 4 visits (I'm a slow learner.) This was proven by their failure to provide my semi-annual service by contacting my "Condo Watcher" as long as I was up North. If you are new to FL, I suggest you ask your neighbors for their advice for AC Service..

The only reason Bruno Air has so many positive reviews is that the technicians ask you to give them a good review so they can get bonus. Be sure to read news in January and February, 2019 about Bruno Total Home before using them

I have had a terrible experience with Bruno. Do not believe that Louis Bruno cares about his customers. He would not take or return my phone calls. I wrote a negative comment on the Bruno Air Facebook page so I was blocked from making comments. When I called for a repair service, a repairman and a "salesman" arrived. I didn't realize this until later. We had lots of trouble with our new system that cost over $20,000. Most recently, a maintenance guy came out to check the system and said there were 2 items needed on that system installed by Bruno less than two years ago. Don't believe Louis Bruno when he talks about what a great businessman he is. No one on my street will use Bruno because they know how many times my new AC system had to be serviced. Communication is terrible at Bruno Air.

We had both of our A/C units replaced and installed by a Bruno A/C team and I must commend them on their professionalism in getting both units installed with some new duct work in a timely manner. We went with the TRANE system and are very happy with the new system. I can't say enough about all of the guys that were here, (about 6 of them) doing the job that could have taken a few days to complete and they completed the job in a whole day of work. I definitely will recommend this company to anyone seeking a dependable, trustworthy and professional A/C company. Thanks again to all of the guys for getting us into a new AC system where we can breath clean air again.

A/C shut off in middle of the night. Scheduled to have Bruno come by their online appointment setup and they had Dustin Baucom come out and inspect the system first thing in the morning. He was courteous and professional, gave me multiple options for a quick fix to save money and a long term fix as well. Dustin was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. After we agreed on a price and the work was done he went above and beyond and drained my run off pipes, a job that did he not need to do, but he went the extra mile and took care of it. Great service, friendly, and professional. Will definitely be calling again for future service as needed. Ask for Dustin Baucom, he knows what he's doing and will take care of you.

He was very complete and precise in explaining things that he was doing and what needed to be done in the future to prolong the unit and keep it running efficiently in the future. Robert was the bearer of bad news. A decision of replacing my present unit with a new one because of a leak in my evaporator coil which could not be repaired. This is the second coil that has been installed in this seven year old unit. He worked with me and explained in detail what happened and what would make since in the long run.

Our A/C was cycling on & off with cold air when running, but because it wasn't running long enough to keep the temperature where it was set to be. This was discovered at about 7 pm on a Wednesday night. We called Bruno, and within an hour, Marshall (with whom we had signed a service agreement in March) showed up and after doing a quick check of our equipment, quickly diagnosed the drain line was clogged and causing the unit to trip off. He hooked up a wet vac (as Louis Bruno has been talking about on the radio) and cleared the drain. This quickly resolved the immediate problem and got the house cooling off. Marshall has serviced us quickly on two occasions now and is very professional and knowledgeable on the job.

I made an appointment on 06/28/17 for the next day at 1. I was told that they were going to call me 30 minutes prior arrival. I made sure I was home at 12. Well, 1 o'clock came around then 2 o'clock and no call or show. Thus, I decided to call and cancel because I couldn't sit around and wait. When I called they said that they could send the next available driver right away, which at that point I did not feel like waiting, as they should have called me first to let me know if their driver was running late. I would've understand as I know I am not the only customer. However, that wasn't the case. Very unprofessional. Spend your money elsewhere. I do not recommend their business.

Our Trane A/C quit working last night. The on call technician arrived within an hour. He checked out the system and restarted it successfully. He explained the finicky nature of that model's communication system. He also told me how to reboot it in the future. This should help in needless calls in the future. We were very thankful for his professional service.

So I purchased a maintenance plan of 2 Visits for $77 on Angie's List. I knew that Bruno had a great reputation due to articles on Angie's List and Naples Daily News however, my expectations were open due to some previous experiences with other vendors not showing up on the day of the appointment or calling to change times or just trying to sell a new unit and not bother servicing my unit.

The first great thing was after purchasing the package on Angie's List. A professional young lady called to setup the appointment. They were very flexible with even weekend appointments available. There were 3 hour time slots throughout the day to chose from. I chose between 3-6pm. To my surprise the tech called and offered to come earlier than expected which worked out well for us. The tech Josh arrived and introduced himself and briefly gave an overview of what to expect. The 51 point inspection was very comprehensive. The neighbors probably thought I had a problem but he was just going through all of the systems with a fine tooth comb. I know that my unit is at the point where it needs to be replaced sooner or later but, that didn't change the way he treated the maintenance call or automatically turn him into salesman mode. He literally took things such as the blower out that happens to be a little moldy to bring the issue to me and my wife's attention and especially because we have a child in the house. He even went in the hot attic with me to point out the issues that only could be uncovered by going up and inspecting all of the ducts and connections. Above and beyond in my opinion. He also calculated the proper size ducts that could increase efficiency in the long run. He also uncovered a connection in the attic that is probably leaking or wasting cold air. He cleaned the inside and outside coils and checked all electronic equipment. If I had any questions, he was great at explaining them in a simple manner for the non HVAC expert. As much as I was willing to ask, he was as willing to explain. I can't really compare the service I received today for just a maintenance call to any other vendor. I was impressed with everything the company did from start to finish and can highly recommend them for anyone's AC needs. I could tell that Josh liked what he does and who he works for and it showed. They are great at giving me all the options, cleaning up the unit we have and also options for a new unit for the future.

I just had the one year cleaning service done on my AC unit which was installed by Bruno Air last year. Ronaldo was a great technician, he explained to me exactly what he did to the system and also provided me with options to upgrade my system without making me feel pressured to buy them. Overall it was a great experience and I am very happy with all of the service that I have received from Bruno Air. They are always very respectful and do a great job.

My initial interaction with this company was very ...

My initial interaction with this company was very good. The dispatcher was very kind and got someone out to our condo quickly. Because I couldn't meet them at the property, they had to charge me $295 to cover the $75 service call plus any minor repairs that could be done if I wasn't able to be reached. The first technician was great but couldn't work on our system because it was overheated. The second technician, Alex, evaluated our system and called me to tell me that fixing the compressor would be over $5000 and that replacing the system would be a better option. The prices for a new 2 ton unit were between $5000 and $8000 depending on the warranty we chose. The cost surprised me, because I have purchased much bigger units for much less at previous homes in MN. That's when everything turned horrible. He started talking down to me about how I didn't know anything about what it is like in FL. He tried to compare the cost of his air conditioning unit to how trucks cost more in MN because we have snow. What???? The comparision is lost on me, but maybe it makes sense to others!! When I inquired about the specs of the system he said it was a 2 ton system and that he didn't want to talk down to me about the other specs. What??? That seems like talking down to me! How about offering to email specs on the system he recommended?? Then he got pushy....the unit was 84 degrees and I needed to get the air conditioner unit in right away....this was an emergency....blah, blah, blah. Needless to say, we did some research and found multiple companies that could put in a unit for $3500 to $5000 depending on the model we chose. Because we did not use them, I thought it would be a reasonable request to ask for a refund from the difference of $295 to the cost of the service call, which I understood could be more because 2 guys had to come out at 2 different times. The request got bumped up to the owner of the company who called me and was very apologetic about the service that Alex provided.....but was belligerent in not offering any type of refund. NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!!!

Bruno Air Conditioning installed a new air conditioner at my Florida residence. Coincidently, I had a new water heater installed by a different company on the same day the new air conditioner was installed. I was out of town soon after the installations were made, so I had to arrange for a Home Watch person to be available so that inspections by the local inspection authority could be made on the air conditioner and water heater in my absence. I have to pay my Home Watch person by the hour when I am away to be available during the window of time provided for the inspectors, so this could have been costly for me as the owner and quite an inconvenience for my Home Watch person. I contacted Melisa, of the Permit Department at Bruno Air Conditioning, and explained my dilemma. Melisa took the bull by the horn, contacted the inspection scheduler, and began coordinating not only the air conditioning inspection but also took over the scheduling of the water heater inspection for me. Somehow, Melisa was able to set up and schedule one inspector who was qualified to inspect both the air conditioner and the water heater during the same visit. My Home Watch person ended up committing less than 1 hour to accommodate the inspector. Thanks to Melisa's initiative and thoroughness, the whole inspection was accomplished within a short time with little inconvenience to anyone and with little cost to me. As of now, almost a year since we got a new AC uni...

As of now, almost a year since we got a new AC unit Bruno air has been doing a good job keeping our AC unit running nice and cool. The tech that last came to do a 6 month service did an awesome job. Bruno should feel proud having someone like Andy Hill working for them. Thanks Andy. Way to go Bruno!

Dan was right on time, called before he arrived, and was professional and friendly throughout. He did a thorough inspection of my unit and made suggestions for replacing a worn part that was low key and not at all pushy. He explained how my system was working by discussing the results of his systems test. He was great.

Bruno was able to do a job that required more expe...

Bruno was able to do a job that required more expertise than others (installing a new A/C line through the attic of 3 condo units with firewalls between). They went above and beyond in this job...one of the condos that needed access was vacated and moldy, and while it was waiting to be decontaminated, they recharged by 90 year old Aunt's leaky line every few days at no charge. They took care of her, instead of taking advantage of her, as the previous A/C company did. Bruno is honest and reputable, and that's what I look for in this industry. I highly recommend them.

Bruno Air has set the Bar high as far as Customer Service goes....They quickly came out and replaced our unit in the same day at a reasonable price. Bruno is Lucky to have Jorge Ayala on there team. Very polite and thank you guy's for keeping it clean. I will not hesitate to refer you guy's in the future. Thanks again....

I must start by saying I NEVER leave online review...

I must start by saying I NEVER leave online reviews for companies, however I felt compelled to do so after my experience with Bruno Air. I had multiple issues with my A/C unit over the years and have had multiple companies out to service it. Finally decided to buy a new unit and got price quotes from a few companies. Bruno Air was by far the best price and ironically provided the most amazing service as well! They came out lightening fast to check my equipment and quoted me a price to fix my existing unit as well as price out a new unit. They sent Jerry Scotto to my house and I have to say, I never expected an A/C inspector to be so curtious and professional. To my surprise Jerry was incredibly attentive to details and incredibally professional. He thouroghly explained everything he was doing as he was doing it and made his professional recommendations to resolve the issues I was having. It didn't stop there!! Jerry had his team of installers come to my house the very next day to install my new unit and it was on the 4th of July!! His team installed everything flawlessly and even cleaned up after themselves! I figured there would be additional charges for a Sunday and a holiday install but NOOO!! The price Jerry had quoted me was the EXACT amount they charged me. No games no hassles and No regrets from me! I would recommend Jerry and his team at Bruno Air to absolutely ANYONE with A/C repair needs in a heartbeat!
