He stayed until everything was running efficiently and gave me his card and assured me that if I ever needed to call or for him to return he would be there for me! Wayne showed up at my house on schedule and introduced himself. He was a very pleasant, professional man. He went up into the attic first then checked the thermostat. He then went outside to clean my unit. He explained everything he found and what his recommendations were. I was very pleased with his work and how he explained it. I would highly recommend Wayne.

I had Bruno air come out for a service call today 4-6-17 and was thoroughly unimpressed.
Service tech was only here for an hour and left a repair bill for $4,500. All of the questions asked were answered with incorrect information. I was quoted on a repair for a 3 Ton unit, when I actually have a 1.5 Ton unit. The parts are only 1,000 from 3 other companies and roughly $500 for the installation. When asking if it was more beneficial for a system replace I was given a number around 9,000 dollars. When consulting other companies I could replace my AC unit completely for a brand new 2017 unit for less than Bruno's repair cost. This is a very dishonest company and can only wonder if all of the great reviews are from friends and family of the company.

I am the owner of a new Bruno air conditioning system. It was installed in my home by a very professional team of technicians who were able to listen to all my questions and explain anything I was concerned with. I have had this system for almost a year and have been very pleased by the service techs who arrive every six months for a complete check of the system which operates very much to my satisfaction. Doug, the tech who serviced the unit today, was very knowledgeable and efficient. Performed his work and finished in a timely manner. He was able to explain to me all the processes he completed and left me with my mind at ease. Bravo Bruno!

I moved to Florida 2 years ago and have listened to Mr. Bruno's radio show several times. Last week I finally had the opportunity to use their service. Mr. Bruno addressed customer service, professionalism, hiring practices, training and his customer for life philosophy. After experiencing Peter and Ryan's maintenance inspection, review of areas of concern, solutions available, and how they went the extra yard to help us select a solution....they truly lived up to the Bruno Air Conditioning code of ethics and service. I never once felt pressured into a purchase decision, the helped me with several financing options. We had just purchased this house two weeks ago and available cash was very low. I want to thank Peter, Ryan and Mr. Bruno for giving us a positive experience.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SHADY COMPANY. I bought a new A/C unit from Bruno 3 years ago. It breaks 1-2x a year. The motor died today and the technician said about $700 in labor to replace the motor, which is under warranty. He also said my U.V. Light was burnt out and a replacement would be $900.
All Seasons came and replaced the broken motor for $150, and asked me why my U.V light was not screwed in. I told him that Bruno told me it was broken. He screwed it in and it works just fine.

Had Bruno ac install a new ac about 3 weeks ago to the sum of 5,000. Been working great until today I get home to a house at the temp of 88 degrees which is no fun being as I work in manual labor and sweat all day to come home to a house that's worse than the system we replaced. I called Bruno ac to be told oh there might be a service call charge if that does happen they can take that ac with them and I'll find a company that stands behind there product. Overall feeling like I chose the wrong company. When a the fact that the ac they removed struggled but was better than coming home to sweat more UPDATE SINCE LAST POST they have been out to fix my ac twice and received my electric bill last month only to find out the bill is far more than its ever been in the past 5 years because the ac once they get it going again has to cool the house more than 10 degrees and today here we go again it's broken once more !! Bruno air has been out twice since the last review both times because the ac completely stopped working and we woke up or came home to a house in the high 80's and now we've come home to a broken ac again I am beyond furious and wish they could refund me my money take this junk out that they just put in and I can have a more knowledgeable ac company install a proper working ac. The sad thing is our original ac was working fine we just had a minor problem and decided to be proactive. Biggest mistake ever!! I feel like Bruno air should do more than just send someone out to "fix" the issue I even had to go out and buy a portable ac unit because I don't enjoy my almost 2 year old daughter sitting in a house that's this hot and if this was a car at this point I could technically lemon law it only wish there was that law for air conditioners....ONE MORE UPDATE Air conditioner is broken again all I want is my old account back at this point Bruno air has showed me just how little true customer service means to them.my house is hott again I have my portable ac I was forced to buy with this whole BRUNO experience in my room my wife daughter two dogs sleeping in there and I'll be sleeping on the hot couch. I'm sure my electric bill is going to be really high again this month again from having to run this portable ac as often as I have had to. It's sad my portable ac is 1000 times more reliable than my brand new full ac unit I just purchased from Bruno...and it's broken again.HOPEFYLLY last update had MARHALL Sikes out who is a really good person and tech he got me going than it went back out later that day I contacted Bruno air in the morning at 9 to be told nobody could get back out to me till around noon,I text Marshall and he came from his house around 30 minutes later which is cool because he didn't get home till after 2a.m that morning he got me going and a senior tech name of Brad Ballantine came by spent a few hours diagnosed a bad motor and switch board which I couldn't get till the next day so they brought a couple ac's to keep my house cool till the next day. The next day brad installed the new blower and switch board only to find it fried my control wires and also my thermostat,so he continued looking for the issue causing all this mayham and found wires shorted out going thru the wall outside replaced those got me a new thermostat and ac has been working great since. Also spoke to mr. Luis Bruno himself that others say it's impossible to do and it only took one phone call and got right back to me and he also helped me out in every way he possibly could so on that note my ac problems are solved and between Luis Bruno Marshall Sikes and Brad Ballantine my faith in the company has been restored and I am now a happy customer thank you to the three of yall big time

We purchased our home in July, and we knew our air conditioner was old. We were not expecting it to go out as soon as it did, we called Bruno Air and they were out the next day. To be honest I was not expecting that being that it was Friday night. They inspected our unit and unfortunately it needed to be replaced, they gave us several options on air-conditioners and how to pay for. We were able to decide on a unit, and they were able to install it on Monday. They did loan us a window unit to help with the heat until we had one installed. I would recommend Bruno Air to anyone.

I've had service with this company for 2 years, with semiannual service visits. I'm very pleased. The service contract fee is cheap, and comforting, especially for a snowbird. The service crews have been very professional, friendly, and courteous. They take care of my equipment at a reasonable price, and don't try to upsell. Recommended.

We had Bruno come out over Labor Day weekend when ...

We had Bruno come out over Labor Day weekend when our A/C died. Over the course of a couple days/weeks we noticed that the unit appeared to be vibrating. Bruno said that the unit's motor was not properly sized for the housing. Several calls later they replaced the housing, but it still didn't sound right. Over the course of the next couple of months he tried changing the air filter, but couldn't. Another call to Bruno and a tech came out and tried giving us a washable filter that had to be resized and said we would be charged for the cost of the filter. My response was "absolutely not". It wasn't our fault that we couldn't change the filter which was due to the poor installation. The technician was going to check with his office and get back to us. We waited a week for someone from Bruno to call and show up, but they never did. Finally, I called and spoke with Jeremy at Bruno who sent someone out to assess the situation with the filter, and "chatter" that we were experiencing with the unit. He said he would bring it up with management. A few days later Bruno came out and disconnected the air handler and reinstalled it, which took several hours. It solved the filter problem, and the "chattering". After everything we went through they did the right thing. The negative is that I feel that we were overcharged for the unit. We spoke to several people who had the same issue and had their units replaced at the same time by different companies, and their costs for the same house were substantially less.

5 Stars to Air Genie! I thought it was about time to have my A/C looked at to make sure it was working the way it should. The technician from Air Genie spent 90 minutes doing a Precision Tune Up and inspecting everything outside...in the garage....and wearing booties, in the house. Great job and I walked away with a list of things to watch for. No major repairs on the horizon. I was very impressed with their service. I even got a call from the owner to make sure I was satisfied with my service experience. If you need A/C service these are the guys to trust!

a few hours later, and was able to repair issue. He was very thorough in his explanation of what had happened and what needed to be done. Never would have gotten this kind of service back in New York.

I am on the service plan and have been extremely satisfied with the technicians that are on the job from Bruno. They seem extremely knowledgable and really take their time. They have a 47 point check list and based on the time they spent at my home today, I suspect they actually and thoroughly gave my 3 air conditioning units the TLC they deserve in this Florida heat. My technicians were Cole and Chavez.

I contacted Bruno Air based on Angie's List ratings to inspect my upstairs AC unit that was not adequately cooling our upstairs. It ended up needing to be replaced. John Howe was the technician who helped us through the decision-making process on what to buy and what additional air purification/mold prevention measures were necessary. He is extremely knowledgeable about air conditioning and air quality and is super responsive and easy to work with. We ended up spending more money than we bargained for, but we feel good knowing that our children are breathing clean air and that if we have any issues, they will follow-up with us quickly. The two technicians that did the installation were courteous and cleaned up behind their work. We also realized through the process how we got short-changed by Pure Air, the company that replaced our downstairs AC unit last year. Bruno Air cleaned up the debris they left behind and fixed some parts of the system that were not installed properly.

8/23/18 I'm adding another comment because I just heard Bruno's latest commercial. He stated they always clean the air handler coil... NO THEY DON"T, when I asked the tech if he would clean the coil he sated it was $189 service to do that. So basically the commercial LIES. They spent almost 2 hours and a good hour plus was trying to sell me stuff I didn't need ... BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY PREY ON THE WEAK.

I'm writing this review and rating this company poor for the following reasons (however the service technician Chris, who responded to my emergency was excellent). I called in to the radio show and set an appointment (they didn't show so gave me a free maintenance). I have a 4 year old Trane that has always had a problem with the drain tube filling with a white gel substance. Well approximately 30 days from their service my ceiling filled with water because the technician didn't put the shutoff switch back in the overflow tube and the drain pan filled (also missing the shutoff switch, probably removed to test and even clean/lubricate) and overflowed into the insulation filling the ceiling. My ceiling collapsed from the weight and now has a huge hole (I have duck taped the seams to prevent it falling in). The technician took photos and told me his supervisor would contact me. That was last Wed 7/22 and I finally made a call yesterday 7/27 and was told the supervisor or VP would contact me. I still have a damaged ceiling and no call, so customers can't really be a priority. If this is their super deluxe service for $189 BEWARE , in the industry what they did is called a blow & go. If you think I must have done something to cause this, I wouldn't have just redone my kitchen and painted the ceiling just to get someone to try and patch and match the plaster work which is perfectly fine. I just left a message for the owner Bruno this morning, and am writing this because I still haven't heard from anyone. They talk good on the radio but apparently are just like the rest, and ignore complaints (maybe they re growing too fast and sacrificing quality and customer service) Of course after the service they found thousands of dollars of improvements that I need to have done (interesting don't you think). I guess my only recourse is to speak to a lawyer and file a complaint with the BBB.

6/7/18 This is really funny, if you want to really understand incompetent management with a total lack of ethics and morality .... read on. After the amazing debacle above, I called and asked to be removed from their customer and prospecting database. These "people" still call and leave a message stating my 6 month maintenance checkup is due. all you can do is laugh!!!!!!

John H.at Bruno AC made lots of promises but was deafeningly silent once payment was made. Installers, started installing unit on wrong side of house, drilling holes through stucco garage (which they promptly left exposed). Installers hastily tore ceiling drywall 12" away from a new return...(which they promptly left and John's empty promise of repair). Two gaping 16" x 24" holes were left in the side of the house upon removal of the previous Bard Wall AC...no mention of it, just left it exposed. If I had not walked to the southern exposure of my home, I would not have known until the driving rain would have created damage. I had to screw plywood to the side of the house just to keep the elements and insects out of the bedroom and attic. "The bitterness of low quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
Still no follow up, no calls, weeks later. Certainly can't recommend, nor would I.

I am amazed by the customer service Air Genie offers. I work for a vacation rental company that oversees over 150 properties. We had an extremely lucrative booking in one of our luxury homes for a week and their A/C went out on a late Saturday afternoon I was required by the owner to call the company he had previously used. They came out and told me it would be Tuesday or Wednesday before they could get the part and have it fixed. I told him I had to have it done sooner or I would lose the booking. He told me that no one in town could get me the part I needed and fix it sooner. I myself personally have worked with Air Genie before so I knew who to call and sure enough Gene was able to get the part and get the job done. Talk about efficient, fast and very reliable!!!! I did not have to move the booking and I looked like a hero to the tenants and my broker thanks to Air Genie!

He went to pick up the part needed to get the unit back up running the same day. He ran down the checklist of issues and potential future problems. Great tech and company. I called Bruno air conditioning to have the air conditioning replacedat at our Florida rental home, spoke to Steve Spigle who was very nice and gave me a few options of different Ac systems, we agreed to have a Trane System installed nex day. For some reason was a confusion who will do the installation and nobody showed up which was a inconvenience because the tenant took the day off from work just for that. I called Steve and he made sure next day the crew was at the house to do the replacement of the Ac and the tenant was very happy the house was cool again. What I appreciate with Bruno Airconditioning is that they apologized for ever wasn't done right and Steve, Anjelica, Robert and Felix worked with us to solve any problem we had.

Yesterday our air conditioner stopped working on a 90 degree day. Josh was our service technician and arrived at 7pm. He had completed resolved the issue (power surge destroying several key elements) and our house was back cooling again by 9pm.

I want to praise Josh for his patience, easy going manner, kindness and awareness of my pets, knowledge on the air conditioner and education on what we could do to extend the life of our unit. I was impressed that Josh did not rush through the job despite the late time on a Saturday night compounded with the fact that our home was a minimum of at least 40 minutes from his home. I can say for certain that Josh left our in better shape than he found it taking the extra steps to neaten our wires in our main unit.

My husband and I were very impressed with Air Genie. They were very professional and extremely hard workers. Donald and Anderson were at our home working from morning till night so we wouldn't have to go without air. They left everything very clean and were respectful of our time and privacy. Gene Jr, the general manager, came by personally to check the progress and to make sure everything was running smoothly. We would highly recomended this company.

I called at 9:00 pm, they knew who I was, talked to me like I was very important to them and said they would have someone out to look at my A/C that night. Someone was there within 2 hours and while it was not fixable then, the repair was set up for repair the next day with the proper part. The technician was professional and respectful. I really appreciated their treating me like my problem meant something to them and that they genuinely wanted to help. Thank you.

Follow up - Next day, came with the part, just got the work completed quick and efficient. Air conditioning working now.

Bruno Air saved us, literally! We purchased our home and found that our home inspector dropped the ball on our air/heating unit and system. When we decided to get the ducts clean since they were horrid from the past owners smoking, 5 cats and never cleaning as the air quality was awful. Jerry and Ryan were the first professionals that came out. They were amazing, professional, knowledgeable because it was that day our air went up, furthermore this faulty unit could have caused a fire while turning on the heat. Calmly, thoughtfully and with compassion they explained what they needed to do and made the calls. The next day they crew was out by 8am, introduced themselves as Carlos and Steve. They worked hard and was very professional, knowledgeable and truly cared what they were doing for us! Louis Bruno even called himself to make sure all was ok. We will be using them for all our service needs, including our new electrical panel! Love these guys! Joe and Sheila.

During our most recent repair with Bruno Air, we found Ramona in dispatch to be very helpful and genuinely concerned about our air conditioner being down that she scheduled a technician to troubleshoot the problem even though it was nearing the end of the day. Because of her we had a install team out the very next morning to repair the problem.
She sent out an expert in Reynier (RAY). I can't say enough about this mans professionalism and thoroughness. He grasped the entire situation not only the immediate repair, but the condensation problem and now the unit is working like new. Thank you RAY!

I bought and AC unit less than two years ago by Bruno. They sold me a York unit which they said it was specially built for Florida heat. It is now broken and they trying to charge me for the warranty parts!!! This all started happening when they did their complimentary service before that there was nothing wrong. The technician told me that we needed new ducts at $20,000- $10,000 (yes two of their techs and two different prices) or they won t fix my AC. I had to call other companies for another estimate and both told me I did not need the ducts replaced. My business is now going to Temperature Control they have been great to me.
I put one star for Bruno though it really is no stars for crooks

Josh came out to do our semi-annual maintenance service and he noted that biological sterilizer had to be moved to a different area as a result of the addition of a media filter that had been recently added to our system. Despite this taking a significant additional work on his part Josh stayed to make sure our entire system was operating properly. As this is our vacation home, we rely on Josh to ensure that our system will operate properly in our absence and be ready for us when we return. This is why we always ask for Josh to perform all of our maintenance and repair service.

I highly recommend using Bruno air. Not only did they send out a professional (Daniel Baucom) who was able to evaluate AND fix the problem (ac leak) but the service we received from Daniel was something to be proud of. He took every measure of care and concern to assure the job was done right.
I'm certain that Bruno air is more then capable to handle any issues or concerns. Highly recommended!!!!

ABSOLUTE JOKE. Thieves!! Incompetent employees. Terrible customer service.
After the Hurricane Irma, our AC stopped working. A technician came to my house and after 30 min of troubleshooting he could not get it to work and said I needed new parts totaling over $2300. Paid $75 for the service call. The next day, I called another company to schedule another estimate appointment, and the person was able to walk me through a few steps and the AC has been working ever since.

I called Bruno Air this morning asking for a refund of the semi-annual tune up and they refuse it.

Absolutely insane.
