Pete was the technician that initially came to do our inspection. Turns out that our unit needed attention and eventually we opted to get a new unit after Pete thoroughly explained the pros and cons. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Admittedly, we did have a scheduling issue but I spoke with Melody who made me feel like my concerns were valid and she immediately got us in touch with Donald, the technician supervisor, who assured us that the schedule would be worked out to our satisfaction. We are now the proud owners of a new and cool AC unit, but the coolest thing was the team of exceptional professionals that assisted us with the process from beginning to end. Pete, Melody, and Donald were consummate professionals and provided fantastic customer service, we couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much. We will be happy to recommend your service to others.

Had a yearly maintenance check-up today on 2 Lennox units. Robert Vaughn was the tech. He did a thorough job of cleaning and testing. Spent about an hour on each. Very polite and professional. The back office on the other hand, not so much. We had scheduled this appointment about a month ago for a first call at 9am. Not a 9-12 window. It's in the notes. At 9:45 I called to see where my service tech was and was told "sorry we diverted him for another call, he'll be there soon". Soon=11:00. Never got a call to tell me this, had to cancel my later plans. I called again later to complain and was told the supervisor was in a meeting and would get back to me to "make things right". Got a call from their customer service supervisor. He was very understanding and admitted their mistake and apologized profusely. Made me a nice accommodation for future maintenance.
Steve S came to our house to do a precision tune-up. After getting started our system was to far gone to be fixed. Steve explained and showed my wife everything that was wrong with our existing system. Extremely thorough explaining the deficiencies. John H came by a few days later to give us a price of a new system. Again, he took the time to explain and show me what was wrong with the system. I never felt pushed or badgered into a new system. He explained some of the items that never had been done when the original system was installed. He gave options on 4 different systems and the benefits and value of each as well as some items that would extend the life of the new system. The new system was installed by Lelan B. and Anderson P. Both installers were extremely competent and knowledgeable. Both were extremely professional and careful in regards to the house. I highly recommend the Air Genie company for service and installation. They did what they said they were going to do at a price that is very fair. They are very honest and courteous.
I purchased a Groupon for an annual maintenance contract and free service calls and discounted parts.
I was really interested in the maintenance portion. Although I am sure that Brandon was doing as he was trained, I was not interested in preventive maintenance items and equipment costing over $5000. The unit is a year old and if I wanted to spend that much money on preventive maintenance I would just a new unit.

Scheduled my semi annual tune up and had the pleasure of having Alex as the technician. Alex phoned ahead of his arrival (15 minutes early). He introduced himself and discussed what the visit would entail. Alex was a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable of his trade and informative. While here, I asked Alex about adding compressor and lightning protection on the system. Again, he was knowledgeable of the protective systems and explained the operation of each (in lay mans terms). I was convinced that here in SW Florida these items are critical to protect my unit from the hazards of lighting. I would highly recommend Alex and Bruno A/C for your air conditioning service.

Had a quote for duct work and they were thousands above 3 other quotes. Had service call and tech wrote system is cooling and draining at this time. OK that's fine. Also wrote system is old and very susceptible to break down. OK that's a good sales term. But then writes There is no doubt that system replacement is coming in the near future. REALLY! Opinions should not be stated on a invoice!!! If you are looking for a sales pro and to over pay then hire them. Looking for quality technicians and no sales jargon shop somewhere else.
I called Bruno, scheduled appointment for following day at noon. Was told that I will receive 30 minutes notice. At two I called, they assured the technician will contact me. Waited all day then finally a tech call comes almost 8 pm after I already hired someone else. I will never call them again!
Asked for a whole home generator system proposal. Had 2 onsite meetings. Received 2 phone calls saying the proposal will be emailed that day. A month later.......NOTHING.
What a scam, the owner states on his radio commercial that the coil cleaning is part of the home service its NOT, there's an extra charge, Now, I have been a Bruno customer for 3 years, I did business with them because of Alex, for the most part I've been ok with their service until yesterday. My unit was due for its 6 month service the tech showed up started doing his thing then he called his field rep. This is where the fun starts, the field rep is the "Closer" of the team, they spent more time trying to get me to replace my duct work in the attic and putting it on my tax bill than doing the service, The "Closer" stated that I could do 50 dollars a month on my tax bill for 20 years, quick math that's 12K for a 5K job, when that didn't work they went o the UV light told me it needs to be replaced once a year, $950 the light was still working, Please, Please be aware Stay away from Bruno Air, oh wait its Bruno Home Services Now, why did they have to change their name under the same owner???
Matthew H. came out for a service call this morning. He was a very pleasant young man and explained to me the problem and how he was going to fix it. I had a variety of other questions and he was very patient in answering all my concerns. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. I will ask for him next time I have a service call.
Great experience from Jose Medina. He performed an outstanding inspection of my entire heating/cooling system and made recommendations of what services could be offered to maintain and improve the performance of my system. He was very professional as well as personable in the way he explained the operation and function of the various components. I would highly recommend this organization to my friends and relatives.
Would highly recommend Bruno Air. Came between the times they told me they would be here. The service technician, Dustin, was very polite and explained things in terms I could understand. Fixed the problem in a timely manner, as well.
Ron from Bruno Air gave me bad news on my air conditioning unit. Ron saved the day by showing what a "fix" job would cost or new unit. He went over everything that needed updating and the reasons every up grade would be needed. Could have cut corners to make job cheaper, but knowing the reasons behind each upgrade made my mind up.
I have a very old system that I know will give out at any time. I called Bruno to get an estimate for replacement of my HVAC system. Jerry came to my home and was very energetic and informative. We informed him of some issues regarding the air flow in the home. He inspected the system and he pointed out what was causing the air flow problems in my home. I was very pleased with his performance. I decided to have the work performed by Bruno Air Conditioning. The install has not been performed yet, but I look forward to a brand new system. I will be posting an update after the install and after future interactions with them.

We originally called Air Gene 2 years ago because of a service discount coupon in the HomeMag. I was really impressed with them from the beginning. We had our air conditioner replaced about a year earlier with another company and they wanted to charge us a crazy amount for yearly service. When Air Gene showed up, they pointed out many problems with the installation from the previous company. They also gave me the information needed to have that company fix the issues. Which they did at no cost to me!!
The yearly service performed by Air Gene since then has been great. All of the service techs have been friendly and knowledgeable. The don't appear to be over selling products and have taught me many things to help keep my A/C running great.
I recently found out that they were bought out by Bruno Air. I hope the great service doesn't change.
Doug B. came out and did an extremely thorough job to determine the root cause of what was causing my air handler to leak all over the hallway floor. I appreciated his thoroughness, patience, and attention to detail. He was able to solve the problem and implement a preventative solution to keep it from happening again in the future. Great job!

Don't believe the average review score for this firm! I don't understand how it has a high rating for a company that overcharges, that doesn't do work properly and that won't contact me back. I was overcharged by $900 from what I agreed, haven't received a copy of my invoice and it appears they may not have added a part to my AC as they claimed. Worse, my AC still doesn't work. The Bruno repairman that arrived didn't seem knowledgeable, yet apparently has worked at Bruno for 3 years. He needed to wait a couple hours for another repairman that was more experienced to finish the work. After spending a total of nearly $2,000, it still appears my system isn't working right, because of a possible Freon leak. And that will cost me $1,400 to have repaired by another firm. I'd never ever use Bruno again and will make efforts to get money back from them because of their bogus fees and work.
My semi-annual check-up was scheduled, reminder phone calls made, 3 hr. window appointment--and Marshall, my technician, with his Partner Matt Kouba appeared, looking and acting professional. They spent over 2.5 hrs. reviewing, cleaning and making minor repairs to my system. Every step was explained. Again, I was impressed. Matt is also a veteran. Thank you Louis. Your company is # 1 in our book.
I have been super impressed with Bruno. The guys are really professional, from the maintenance technician to the team that installed our new units. Prices start out really high, so be sure not to let them gouge you too much, while keeping in mind that you get what you pay for.

Just got a txt message somehow from this scam. Company telling me that "during a hurricane I should just think Bruno" screw you man don't send me texts again I hope that we get a class action lawsuit for unsolicited texts.... I have reported this and hope other people did also
After getting the runaround from 2 companies and not getting even the estimates back from a third one, not even the courtesy call-back, I remembered about Bruno and decided to reach out and they were able to speak clearly and without b/s. Today I have a new A/c unit with warranty and service and I fee confident I will be take care of in the future. Everyone I came in contact with since Monday afternoon and Friday when the unit was installed, were incredibly professional and valued their job and reputation. Not sure what Bruno did to these people but keep treating them well and they will continue to do the beat job out there and take pride in it!
For the record we ve been with Bruno for years. Even in Kentucky where we flipped homes. So, because we had such good experiences up there we went to them for ac down here. We bought - brand new everything in 2016. Almost 9k total. Bought annual servicing and they have yet to come out. We called last week and the lady on the phone stated, oh my we haven t even attempted to call, I m sorry she schedule and was very apologetic. The past two days our house wouldn t cool. The nest pro that was installed read something weird about the wiring. We called today. They said they were going to charge us $295 for just the diagnostics and him coming out. Wait, there s more. After explaining the frustration to the tech. He comes out has a smirk on his face and not even apologetic. He plainly doesn t care. He legit looked like he wanted to laugh. I understand he didn t do it but he was like you don t have the plan and your supposed to read your manual and flush your stuff monthly. When even the lady on the phone told us what they didn t do!! It s bs. Not once. Never. Has anyone or even the tech that originally came out said anything about a mantainance monthly. WTH? Called my ac guy friend and said that s not right. So, now we have to pay almost $500 to get it fixed. Why buy brand new everything if you have to pay $500 a year. We will no longer use them. Will no longer refer them and I see many people daily and in homes all the time. I ve referred so many people. Not any longer. Not good business. The only reason why we went through with it today was because we didn t want to sleep another night in the heat. Won t come back. Thanks for treating loyal customers that way!!

After seven days without electricity, when it did return one of the A/C units did not function...Irma knocked out mother board and blower motor.....Bruno was here 4 hours later on Sunday, Brandon identified the problem, ordered the parts at 6PM and the next morning at 9 another tech was here to install and we had a functioning A/C unit at 10:30; cannot say enough about service, efficiency and response to customer needs.
Jose called before he came on time to do a very professional, well organized, and thorough job of cleaning and inspecting our ac equipment. He gave us some options for maintenance/upgrade but did not pressure us. We were happy with his visit.
Wayne was very polite and professional. The complete ac system was gone through and was explained in complete detail. The recommendations were explained and the pros and cons of each were given. No pressure was given in deciding what I could afford to do and what i could not afford to do at this time. Thanks Wayne!

Bruno was contracted to replace my hvac ducts. The workers are pleasant, very hardworking & work well together. I was impressed with the math applied to the updated ducts plus the mapping of the ducts. They put in a long day in a hot environment. I hope they get a good wage

If you have any choice, do not use this company. First off, they came here and tried to sell us a unit for $30,000, which included all new duct work(did not need) although while I was in the attic with the guy he said he found no leaks, a unit in every room (monitoring) (did not need), a new compressor (did not need) a new AC (which we did need). They sent a sales rep with a trainee with a guy that tried to sell us anything and everything. Before we agreed to anything I went up to the attic and before we even decided to say that we wanted them to do anything he cut open the duct work with a knife he had on him and said "we'll fix it" and I asked him what if we don't want your service. He said he would fix it with duct tape. Before he went up into the attic there was NO cuts anywhere in the duct work. He went up there with his trainee twice before I went up there with him. He didn't know I was up there before. When i went into the attic with him there was suddenly multiple cuts that looked like knife slices or cuts in the duct work. He said it needed to be replaced. Which would up our cost, as he said. Once I said I wasn't going to pay for all new ductwork, compressor, and ac unit, he lowered our cost by maybe $2500. I was charged $10,500 for the ac unit, compressor and for them to "fix" the ductwork that they actually ruined. I have pictures from the inspector that inspected the place and the pictures I took later. I had only bought the home 3 months prior. They "fixed" the duct work that they ruined, which I was charged for, and they said, as I found out later charged me for more a 15 seer unit when they told us it was 17 or so. Now when my AC kicks on my power flickers and heat comes out of my bathroom ductwork. If you want a real AC company that isn't ran by sales people, please call someone else. I will gladly change my review if can have a decent conversation with someone who can make a difference. Your company may be big, your company may be getting larger. But if people don't trust you, you will keep losing business by word of mouth, which can be your best friend, or worst enemy.
Update: They just came for their yearly cleaning of the unit and they wanted $1900 to put in some sort of sensors that are supposed to get rid of bacteria..what they didnt realize is that we already have them and had a guy put in the same sensor/cleaner for just 300$ .. STAY AWAY .. I will ONLY use them for the yearly cleaning because its "free" .. (ripped off since the beginning). They actually had the nerve to ask for $1900 to make sure their product worked better. Ridiculous. Stay away from them. You will get better quotes and real answers from, literally, everyone else.
Had Bruno's plumbing department out to my house recently. They were unable to resolve the issue. Scheduled another tech to come out the next day. An hour after the scheduled time they called to tell me their equipment was broken and could not come out that day. They wanted to reschedule for the next day. When my wife called to discuss options she was yelled at by the man answering the phone and stated he had already spoken to her. This was not possible as I was the contact until this time. After he understood this to be the case he offered to send someone out at a discounted rate the next day. This would have been three days without use of plumbing in this room. We said no thank you and called another local company. After hearing what happened they agreed to come out after hours but charged us only the normal fee. They had the issue resolved in under 45 minutes. I would not recommend this company even if the price was a few dollars less. Jason
WE NEED HELP!!! Had AC unit installed 7/17/2018 by Bruno Air. Wife was pregnant and family was visiting us at the time when our AC failed to cool the house. Bruno used high pressure sales and took advantage of our lack of knowledge in HVAC pricing. We were charged nearly $25,000 for HVAC on our 3 bed 2 bath single family home. We financed the project via PACE (Ygrene). Bruno claimed price was high because we would have no HVAC expenses for 16yrs due to their built in warranty. Air Pros since then bought Bruno and their customer lists after Bruno was sued. On 2/9/2021 Air Pros came to do maintenance check and told us our AC has a leak somewhere. They charged us $650 for leak seal and dye study claiming they don t honor Bruno s warranty. So with no options we pay $650 for Air Pros to do leak seal and dye study. Air Pros tells us they will be back in roughly 2-3 days. Air Pros didn t return to read dye study until over a month later on 3/18/21 since I called them and inquired about their testing and return assessment. Air pros then came on 3/18/21 and told us we have a leak in our line set running between condenser to air handler. They also claim for the first time that the line set was tan incorrectly. Air Pros says it will cost us $3500! They claim they are giving us a military discount and senior citizen discount even though we are neither of those. After hearing that I contact other AC companies and find out my AC didn t have a permit pulled. The other AC company seems surprised that Bruno didn t pull a permit especially since we financed the HVAC project via PACE program under Ygrene. So now today on 3/18/21 I m left trying to figure out how to proceed. We can t afford a lawyer. We can t afford to repair the line set. Air Pros is pressuring us to repair immediately telling us our unit warranty could be jeopardized if we don t fix the line set right away. One of the other AC companies also informed us that Bruno air didn t file for warranty on our HVAC system. OUR FAMILY NEEDS HELP!!!

Please, Please, be aware of Bruno Air. There is a reason why Mr. Bruno is a millionaire for his AC service. There crafty service man are just looking for ways to take your money. Luckily, I called up another service and had my AC fixed for over half the cost. I do think they have great sales people but this is how they make their money people. Once I told my service tech that I need to get some more quotes after hearing how much they were going to charge me, he began to tell me how most businesses are crooks and I can not trust them. Then, after looking up more information from the BBB, I could see that their records speak for themselves. Who really is the crook? One day this business' reputation will catch up to them.
***UPDATE*** After 15 mins of me writing this post Mr. Bruno himself did call me. Quite honestly, I was surprised but we had a good conversation. It is obvious why his business has become great. He has created a system that does include service techs being highly knowledgable techs who also function as great service men/women that create a profitable business. But, I did share with him how it was alarming how much money I saved going with another business. I will give this business credit, they do have great customer service and maybe this will be helpful for you for your next purchase. I did change my rating to 3 stars because of the fact that he did care enough to call me back. They did refund my service call, which was not much, but enough where they wanted to give me my money back. Thanks for reading.
Matthew came to my home on August 19th. He was very courteous. What a real gentleman. He was very thorough in his work. He was not pushy to buying certain products for my air conditioner. He told me exactly what I needed and it was up to me to make the decision of what I wanted to do. If I call again I will specifically ask for Matthew. I would recommend Matthew to anybody. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE. Nothing but an UNTRAINED TECHS and HEADACHES. They try to misdiagnose you, try to sell you a whole new unit, would not admit their faults, and OVER CHARGE YOU! I had 4 other A/C companies tell me that Bruno Air has installed wrong parts on my A/C unit thus causing my issues, but when approaching the company they would deny of any wrongdoing and wanted to sell me a whole new unit for thousands more than any other A/C comapny out there. After I hired them and I had nothing but headaches, I did my research and found out that this company got into licensing issues with Collier County, and got their credit taken away from BBB, so THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED. I wish I did my research before I hired them. Take it from my experience and learn on my mistake.

Matthew Harrell is knowledgeable, polite, detail oriented and professional person. He walked me thru the different area of our AC system, showing me the area of concern. He provided me a list of the steps that needed to take place to get the solutions of potential problems that I may encounter with our unit.
DO NOT allow these people in your home. Big scam! First visit fixed a prob (Freon) Second visit said we need a UV light $1100.00 later....check on line they run $1-150-$200.00 Also said we needed all of our duct work ripped out and redone $16,000.00 (we didn t agree,didn t do it). Thank God. Next visit said our UV light burned out. We said it s not even a year old., it s under warranty so replace it . They changed their tune said O , no it looks ok . Tried to sell us a new unit , we sai;d no. Enough! Get out.! DO NOT CALL THEM !
Casey was our Tech. He was very professional and kind. He can look you in the eyes and talk well. He explained everything to me and any questions I had he was able to give me answers. I was happy that Mr Bruno was a man of his word in that during the radio promotion he said the tech would come in and wear the booties, he did. No high pressure sales even when there were things that were obviously wrong in my unit. Casey was upfront with the information. He completed all the inspections that the Mr Bruno said he would do on his radio promotion. in fact, he gave me the maintenance plan less the cost of the inspection for today. it was a great deal. all in all, I would recommend this company to all. Casey did a fine job! Clean cut and well groomed!
I had SUCH a great experience with Bruno Air. My A/C went out, and Josh and Casey came out in no time to fix it. They explained everything to me, and patiently answered my hundreds of questions about what was going wrong. They showed me exactly what wasn't working, and what needed to be done to fix it. They even took the time to help me set up my thermostat. I purchased a yearly maintenance plan with Bruno, and am looking forward to working with them in the future!!
Based on my initial experience with another tech at Bruno Air (one that I was told is no longer at Bruno Air), Louie did what looked like what I was expecting from the radio show over the weekend. He didn't mind explaining what he was doing and why. I would be comfortable to refer him to people I know.
