Both my husband and I purchased vehicles from Bobby Rahal. We love both of our Hondas, even after almost 10 years! We return to Rahal for our yearly service and inspection. The staff is always very friendly and incredibly efficient. I trust them to honest with what is wrong with our vehicles and to be reasonable with their pricing. We've also used their detailing service for our interiors and head lights. The cars always look great when we get them back! We plan on driving our Hondas for many years because they are such great quality, but when we need to purchase new cars, we will not hesitate to go to Bobby Rahal!

Generally speaking, the staff at this dealership and other BR dealerships are friendly. However, you can count on being ripped off consistently. This review is for well-educated car buyers.

I'll start with a couple first-hand experiences with them. A salesman by the name of Herb once explained to me that "I had no equity in my car" and therefore I was to roll the entire balance of my vehicle onto the used car I was considering at their lot. As a sensible and educated car buyer, I naturally followed up with, "wouldn't I just roll over the negative equity?" Herb proceeded to repeat himself until I requested to confirm his theory with a manager. We walked into the manager's office together and obviously confirmed that Herb was an idiot.

Another delightful experience, my wife took her Saab 9-3 convertible in for trade on a used vehicle she was interested in. Her Saab 9-3 was no gem but it consistently received offers of $1,500 to 2,500 on trade which is pretty standard for a solid running convertible with approximately 100K miles. Note that they were doing approximately $2,000 at Manheim auction in that condition at the time. So we had her car appraised and our good friends at Bobby Rahal offered us a whopping $400. The reasoning behind this offer was written on the appraisal sheet. We found "interior faded, paint faded, low tire tread, TOP DOESN'T WORK!!!" written down in pen. I looked at the saleman and measured the tire tread in front of him (which was approximately 50% life remaining) and then proceeded to put the top down and then back up without any issues. He offered to have a sit-down with the appraiser and we obviously declined and took our business elsewhere. By the way, that Saab traded in for $2,500 at Lancaster County Motors on an aggressively priced Scion XD.

To sum it up, they will offer you nothing on your trade-in and rarely negotiate the price of the cars that they sell. The service group is friendly but the prices are insanely high. Lastly, the sales staff can be friendly/knowledgeable or downright rude/incompetent.

I would avoid these dealerships at all costs.

I researched the prices of local Honda dealerships and wasn't really surprised when the prices at Bobby Rahal Honda were much better than at the other dealerships around the area. With being our first time buying from Rahal, we truly couldn t be any more happy with our entire purchasing experience than we are. Chris Lindquist in Sales was very knowledgeable, friendly, and completely no-pressure. We definitely recommend giving Chris a call for any of your car sales needs. We also worked with Matt Cole, the General Sales Manager, who treated us like we were lifelong friends. We really appreciated his demeanor and professionalism! Next we worked with Eric Saborsky in Finance and we were wowed by his knowledge and how easy he made the entire process for us. Lastly, since our new car was getting some additional parts added on, Shaun Stanbaugh in the Service Department hooked us up with an Accord to drive until our 2020 Accord Hybrid was ready for pick up. We highly recommend the team at Rahal for all of your car buying and servicing needs; they are the real deal!

Ok the least you can do when you get a vacuum and car wash is move the kids booster seats to vacuum under and around! It's not that hard. Also use better drying rags! Definitely not worth 15 bucks!

I bought my car from them in early 2010 after getting rear-ended on the highway. The car I wanted wasn't on their lot so they had to bring it from another dealer and it took long enough that the insurance rental I was driving ran out. They gave me a loaner, so that was good.

Service through most of 2011 was fairly good, but in the last 2 years I've had a number of annoying problems with them.

1. One time I dropped the car off at 7:00 AM for routine maintenance and by 5:00 PM it was still wasn't done and I still had to wait for more than 30 minutes

2. One brake pad wore almost completely down in 22k miles while the other 3 wore normally and they just wrote it off as "something that happens" which wound up costing me $250

3. Their car wash ripped the insignia off the trunk and scratched up the back of the car with it. They didn't argue at all and had it repaired and gave me a loaner, but it was still irritating

4. Every single time I take the car there and they do anything with the tires or wheels it comes back unbalanced.

5. They acted like they had never heard of the concept of undersizing wheels for snow tires and I wound up taking it to another shop. The other shop also did the actual work much cheaper (although they messed up the TPMS sensor at first and I had to take it back)

I wouldn't say I wouldn't buy a car from them, but my experience over time has taken me from considering to be my preferred dealer to putting them in a position of no preference over any other dealer (it certainly doesn't help that the car itself hasn't exactly shown any of this legendary Honda reliability as it's been pretty much average with every other car I ever owned on that front).

Now I understand why I have only heard great things about Bobby Rahal! I have always been a Nissan girl. The awesome team at Rahal put up with my craziness and worked with me after a deer totalled my car. I never felt pressured and they worked with me to get me into an awesome Honda HRV! Thanx to the whole team! Extra thanks to Adam for helping me through the finances and crunching all types of number combinations! And Brian Hurley ...what a great guy! Personable and patient! Pretty sure you all are stuck with me for life!

I would never purchase a car at Bobby Rahal Honda....

I would never purchase a car at Bobby Rahal Honda. They have the worst customer service ever! The first guy I spoked to lied to me about who he was, when I was looking for a specific person. He stated he was the person I was looking for, which I found out later he was not. The second person I spoke with changed a car price to a higher price, when I saw the car, priced at $18,716. When I showed interest, his manager decided to increase the price to $19,016. Clearly they are horrible sales reps and don't care about their customers. I wanted to give them a second chance after the first incident, but after this happen again, I will never give them my business!

I had better customer service at Bobby Rahal Toyota, Faulkner Honda , and freedom Toyota. Not only did they show interest in me and tried to help me find the best car. They followed up with me through my email as well as a phone calls. No one from Booby Rahal Honda did that for me.

I have never been so frustrated and angry looking for a car. I will no longer be doing any business with Bobby Rahal Honda. I will be going to Faulkner Honda.

He was extremely knowledgeable about the car and its features, made us feel at ease throughout the process, and offered us a very good deal. The entire team was first rate. I really like the waiting area..there's quite a few waiting rooms to pick from, even a long wall of chairs, spaced apart so you can sit with your PC. I didn't have to wait long for what all they had to do and they always clean my car for me ,I think they do a great job!

I took my 2012 CRV that I purchased from them new because the check engine light came on and was getting terrible gas mileage. They provided a free loaner and called within a half hour to inform me my timing belt was stretched and needed replaced. They contacted Honda for me and requested help since I had taken it there on schedule for every service and the car was only 5 years old. They called at 8 am the following day to inform me my car was ready for pick up and Honda had covered 75% of the bill. Ryan Lomago was my advisor and I commend him for doing a superior job.

They are excellent at what they do here at the dealership! Very fast, friendly and efficient! My wife and I bought a car and were in and out the door in under 2 hours! Last car buying experience at another dealership took over 4 hours! We will definitely be back for any future car needs!

They have a great sales team who were friendly, knowledgeable, and delivered a "OK" price(even thought I was expecting a great deal on the last day of 2018).
My issue is the way the car was dealer prepped and delivered to us. They are a high volume dealer and there were multiple issues with the inspection and prep of the car, Tires were over-pressured (delivery pressure) which caused the TPMS light to come on, weatherstripping was not attached properly to the passenger door and falling off, broken driver's side wiper blade that would not stay attached during the rainy ride home, and residue on the glass surfaces from the protective delivery plastic. And the drivers floor was filthy as a result of test drives, and they simply threw the new mats on top of the dirt.
They did find time to spray some shiny armor-all stuff all over the engine bay area (which I could care less about).
If you decide to buy here take a Honda pre-delivery checklist with you (they are downloadable). The are many items on it that I'm sure were not addressed on my car.

This place takes care of you not only while purchasing your vehicle but throughout the life of it. This is the second vehicle we have bought here and are taken care of very well. More than 5 stars if I could give 100 I would. Brian and Jessica made us extremely happy and were very knowledgeable about everything we inquired about. Eric and Garth were great when helping us with the financial portion of our visit. They also were very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Any time we needed to call and talk to someone they promptly answered and took great care of us. Thank you so much everyone! You have two very happy customers here. This was our first Honda purchase. Everyone at Bobby Rahal were extremely cordial and professional. Their safety protocols made my wife and I feel very comfortable and their entire sales team went above and beyond to make a fair deal. Having a technology expert go through our orientation of the car at delivery was an experience we have never had at another dealership. I also called the service department the day before delivery to ask a service technician questions about the car. The treatment by the service department was consistent with the rest of the dealership. Courteous and professional! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a first class professional experience buying a car. When you walk through the door just ask for PJ.

I'm writing this review for Bobby Rahal - Service
I was stopped by the service bay for express service tire rotation and oil change. Unfortunately, no one responded until it Past 15 minutes every body keep passing me as if I was not there
A person from the desk just stopped for sake of collecting my car key no odometer reading was noted, no one inspected vehicle - no service advisor was present - the person just entered whatever I said and collected my key.
This is not customer experience I expected from the service center, I did my PA state inspection and previous service on May month of 2018 which was 4 months earlier. I have also recommended them to my friends who also changed their mind of going to Bobby Rahal from Faulkner Honda and some of them did their Service in the month of June .
They also responded to me that they are not providing any courtesy pick up.
Considering all above, Myself is planning to go back to Faulkner honda for subsequent service.

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from Bobby Rahal and it was fantastic! Greg Schank was my sales rep and he was amazing! I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted a Pilot Touring, and left with and Elite...and not because Greg tricked me into the higher trim, but because the dealership was up front and had a FANTASTIC savings on Elites. Bobby Rahal s market driven price sales is a phenomenal idea. There was no haggling back and forth on price and Honda s interest rates at 1.9% can t be beat!! I got the best of the best for what I expected to pay for the Touring so I was SUPER SURPRISED and excited. Greg was patient, honest, upfront, he got me a great deal, my paperwork was done effortlessly by Mark and I was in and out in record time 3 hours! I would recommend Greg Schank as a sales rep to any person who values honesty, hard work and a great attitude. They have made a permeant customer of me and my family! Brian was wonderful, very friendly, personable and made the entire process easy and safe. He was an expert at FaceTime, showing us all of the important aspects of the 2019 CRV. He even told us that it still smelled like a new car and he was right. Because we had to drive 2 hours to see the car in person, he made sure that it was still waiting for us and not sold to another interested buyer that morning. We had service completed here and I was happy for a B1, the customer service was great and we were happy. A few weeks later I call to get my brakes inspected and taken care and basically am told we can t have a loaner because we didn t purchase our Honda there. What?!?!? I ve been to several Honda locations in Texas and Nebraska and have never heard of such a thing. The manager explained himself about limited inventory, etc. but basically you re screwed if you have ever lived anywhere else welcome to Pennsylvania, it continues to disappoint in every possible way.

I had a wonderful experience at Bobby Rahal Honda from the first encounter. I was initially on another dealers lot and was having far from a pleasurable experience but felt exhausted and just wanted to purchase the car I wanted at that point. A lady pulled up and told me she just left Bobby Rahal and had an excellent experience- friendly staff and great prices. She stated it was well worth my time to "check them out" before purchasing from where I was. I am so glad I took her advice!

We called Bobby Rahal up and spoke with Chris. He was wonderful and told us he had the car we wanted at the price we were looking for. When we arrived Chris was friendly, made time to see us, without an appointment, on a busy day. He was professional, down to earth, honest and worked hard to get me the price I needed quickly. With that said they also gave me a respectable amount for my, far from ideal, trade-in!

We spoke with the manager, Matt, who also worked with us to make sure we left with the extras I desired with my 2 small children and dog to ensure the car was protected. Both Matt and Chris went the extra mile to get the best deals they could for me at a difficult time. Most importantly they respected our time and did not pressure us into anything. I look forward to picking up my car in the days to come as I had them put on some additions! I will continue to pass along the wonderful experience I had with the staff at Bobby Rahal Honda! Keep up the great work!

I m reviewing Bobby Rahal Honda Service Center- Today, we had the best experience in the face of a stressful situation. Our Honda Odyssey had a caliper bolt sheer on the side of 81. We had the van towed to Bobby Rahal and I m so glad we did. Not only did they find the part we needed, but they went above and beyond to make ourselves and my 3 young children comfortable. We were given a loaner and took the kids to breakfast for 1 hour. By the time we returned, they had the new part installed, and even gave our van a car wash! All of this cost less than $100! Gary Fuller, our Service Rep, was extremely kind and made our experience great! Thank you, Gary!
