the service adviser was not ready to listen to me and instead wanted to change the tires only the front 2 were worn out. I asked to rotate it instead and he mentions that BMW does not require rotation as all the four wheels have equal weight distribution. Well then how did the front 2 tires only wear out at 24K miles, if it was equal weight distribution!

It only took me 2 days from having the idea to lease a BMW to driving the car home. Bahman Farzan was very helpful during the whole process. He provided different options and explained pros and cons of each scenario thoroughly and let me make my own decisions. He was able to answer all my questions. He was not pushing. I can feel the trust during the communication. Great experience! Will go back to him 3 years later for a new one.

I just bought a great used MINI Cooper from BMW of Mountain View. When I first began to talk to sales people and the manage,r I definitely felt the hard sale coming on and so I left. I returned a little later in the evening and got Jeremy as my salesman. He was awesome. No hard sale! Answered my questions and didn't try to sell me lots of stuff I didn't want. If you are shopping for a car, I would definitely ask for him.

After a bad experience with a specific repair here, the staff reached out to me, offered to correct the problem and, though that was no longer possible, worked with me to make things right. And though I disagree with some of the practices (i.e. changing brake pads without dressing the rotors), I can't say that is not dictated by the BMW USA maintenance program I purchased. What I can say is that the people I've dealt with at BMW Mountainview have been fantastic and the customer experience is certainly a good one.

BMW of Mountain View offers outstanding service.
Wayne Chan is truly an all-star on the BMW team... he simultaneously managed our X5 through catching up on deferred preventative maintenance and repairing damage we'd suffered as a result of being rear-ended.
Wayne provided a loaner to keep us in action, kept us informed throughout, and made the experience effortless!

I leased my 2021 M550 from BMW of Mountain View on 09/16/2020. My salesperson, Gaurav, was very friendly and helped to clear all my questions. They had a good collection of cars as well. In fact, they were one of the very few showrooms in Bay Area that had a M550 that I could test drive. They gave me confidence in my decision and all in all, I had a wonderful experience with them. 10/10 would recommend if you are thinking of buying/leasing a BMW.

Great buying experience at BMW of Mountain View. My sales, Nam (NIck) Nguyen, made my purchase process totally hassle-free and efficient. No pushing, tricks, and games during the price negotiation. We settled everything 100% through email under COVID-19 and only stopped by the dealership for paperwork signatures then drove the car back. Strongly recommended if you have a plan to lease or purchase a BMW. Reach out to Nick and he can be a good help.

This was my first time having my car serviced at BMW of Mountain View. And I'm very pleased with the excellent level of service I recieved. I have absolutley no complaints. I'm so thankful and lucky to have had Amir Shah as my service advisor. He's honest, polite and has good communication. He kept me updated the entire time my car was at their service center, through phone calls and emails. He also would promptly return my call when I would leave a message for him. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to make sure all my needs were met. And every staff member I came into contact with at this dealership was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed bringing my car here to get worked on and I look forward to having my car serviced here again in the future. :-)

I had a great experience here with Tony Helmand. This was my first time buying a new car, but had visited other dealerships before landing here. Right away Tony was very friendly and knowledgable about everything. He sat with me for a long time discussing all of the things I was looking for in a car. He also took the time to explain all of the details that were unclear to me, being a first time buyer. When we landed on a model and comfortable price, Tony searched for and found the ideal car. He gave me a great deal and had the car brought to the dealer the same day. Tony made this very daunting shopping experience easy and fun. I would recommend him to all of my friends and family!

Got a letter on recall of airbags in Oct 2016
call to make appt , first available is Jan 2017
They call back in Dec to say they ran out of parts
I call them back in Jan, they say next shipment is Feb

Compare when calling Anderson Honda for airbag recall, they order parts and will install one week later with half a day rental car.
The difference in service btwn BMW and CRV for the same recall issue is too great a gap.
Totally disappointed .

Great experience getting my tires replaced. My advisor David Truong was great in getting only what was necessary done. I compared with other options, including ordering from TireRack and getting another installer to do the work. BMW MV was a better option, in terms of their expertise and also cost.

So my nephew went to go buy a CAMARO SS they made him drive 3 TIMES!!!!! (mind you it s an hour drive from where we live). The lady who helped us is the supervisor according to the other guy who helped us at the end. He paid in full 17,000$ At the end but kept rejecting his offer (which I believe because of his age) in the beginning. They had told him the car was on hold for him which it was all a LIE. He did purchase the vehicle but SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

The service mgr Brandon was pleasant and nice. but the overall experience was very slow process similar to taking your car in i would imagine in the 1960s. They wash your car but do not dry it. Major expensive service and do not match prices for parts/service offered lower at competitors. Just because my car isn't brand new doens't mean the service should be any less and that is how it felt. So not that great of an experience. just ehh for spending $2500.

Dealing with Mani Messy at Mountain View BMW was just a blast. He was relatively new at the place but extremely eager to help. It felt like my wife and I were making a friend. The experience did not go without a glitch but it was quickly resolved to our satisfaction with Mani's assistance. We are currently happy owners of a certified pre-owned 328i which drives and feels like new.

I had an excellent experience at BMW of Mountain View! It was the best car buying experience I've had. Great salesman and a huge selection of vehicles in a big parking garage behind the building.

My salesperson was Wing Tung. He led me on a test drive a few weeks ago. He was very honest, down to earth, and he didn't try to pressure or manipulate me. I found this very refreshing. So, even though I live in San Francisco, I called him back up when I got more serious about moving forward.

The entire experience was fantastic and I ended up purchasing from Wing. He helped me find the car I was looking for and gave me a fantastic deal. I had researched very heavily between the test drive and the purchase date, and I can vouch that Wing did not try to lie or mislead me. He's very helpful and honest.

I highly recommend this location and especially Wing Tung. I'm really happy I got my car here. Definitely check it out!

Unfortunately, this dealership does nothing to differentiate itself from other great BMW dealerships in terms of the service department (Jeff at Beverly Hills BMW comes to mind, Harold at Irvine BMW also comes to mind as great examples of outstanding customer service). Additional services (e.g. coolant flush) are up-sold heavily and tacked onto estimates unless you request otherwise. I don't fault any of the service advisors here but it is very obvious they are under a lot of pressure to up-sell where possible. My service advisor Brendan is great, and I highly recommend him if you have a choice.

I only brought my BMW here because it still has the maintenance warranty but this would be my last choice for an out-of-warranty vehicle. There is a scarcity of loaners so be prepared to use their shuttle, have a friend or family member provide a ride, or use ride sharing services.

I recently went there for service because my maintenance package is expiring. I'm always pleased with the service at BMW Mountain View, Branden is always my go to SA--he's knowledgeable, hospitable and gets my car in and out in a timely manner. 5-stars for SA and techs.

Usually it's a hit or miss with who drives your car away or back to the service area. Some take great care, while others speed away.

Had an unpleasant experience getting airbag recall done at BMW of Mountain View. 15 minute job scheduled for 2-3 hours took 5 hours to complete. I had to call them to make sure that the car would be done by the time I needed. When I showed up to pickup a car they still where doing paperwork. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes as tech managed to drain my battery in the car wash :( . I ended up missing my next appointment. Once the car showed up the airbag was not aligned properly in the steering wheel. Had to fix it myself afterwards. Staying away from this place for all future services.

We are not experts in understanding all the detail...

We are not experts in understanding all the details about servicing our car. This place felt like they were trying to take advantage of that and rip us off.

They wanted to replace all our tires (two of them were replaced not too long ago and had 9/32 tire tread ) and wanted to do $299 wheel alignment.

They also wanted to do a $260 battery discharge diagnosis because the car showed battery discharging while stopped warning. (The warning has since went away without doing anything).

Even after we said no to so many things we ended up getting a bill of $739 (for brake fluid change, engine oil change and some bulb replacement).

I would recommend getting quotes from other places because this place will rip you off.

The most important difference is, his help / partnership does not end after sale. He continued to help me after sales. This was my main reason to go back to to Armen.

Was a very good experience.

After buying the car, things are not the best. Scheduled an appointment yesterday for a routine maintenance check. Was supposed to get a BMW loaner (since I made it clear I wanted a BMW while scheduling the appointment & yesterday was the earliest I could get a BMW loaner), but for some reason, they ran out of loaners & gave an enterprise rental instead.

In the evening, when I picked the car up I noticed that the car wan't washed properly on the outside & the interiors were barely touched. I mean seriously, I bring my car once I year for this check & is it so difficult to put some effort into cleaning the car properly? Sloppy job. So I'd give them 1 star for the after-sales experience.

Today, we bought a used 2013 Toyota RAV4 at this dealership. We had a pleasant buying experience. We worked with Bentz and Pablo and both were very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Bentz drove me to the bank to get my cashier's check. They were willing for me to come back the next morning to sign the papers so that I would not miss the Niners play-off game. We liked the no-pressure sales environment. The whole place makes an open, bright and welcoming impression. One of our best car buying experiences.

I recently leased the BMW X1 Series from this Mountain View dealership with the help of Jackie Liang on the sale floor. He was extremely helpful in helping me finding the deal that I want and didn't waste my time with the negotiation tactic. After the test drive for which I liked the performance of the car with SuperTurbo charge even though it was just a 2.0L. Very impressive indeed and I decided to move forward to get it. I want my bottom line deal and Jackie was able to help me found what I want and we closed the deal with all papers work signed in a matter of 1 hour. I was impressed by his excellent attitude and willing to close this as quickly as possible without the sale hassle tactic.
Would definitely recommend him if you are to shop for a BMW!

Took my car there for a regular maintenance. Had a reservation with Wayne Hong and the checking in was quick. Besides my intended oil change, they gave the car a thorough check and did several other maintenance items all together, including changing the filters, recharging the battery, changing the brake fluid and recalibrating the brake pad life readings in the computer. I haven't driven the car for some time so it's pretty dirty when I took it in. They cleaned the leaves and debris for me and gave the car a good wash. Very thoughtful service! Wayne was very helpful and very patient with me all the time. Recommended!

Added comment after a month: Today I checked my wheel lug nut torque one month after the dealership visit. To my surprise, all lug nuts are still torqued properly around the factory spec 101 ft lbs. It means they torqued my lug nuts with a Torque Wrench, not the impact gun. Knowing the fact that too many shops just use the impact gun to over-tighten the lug nuts to save time. I'd give them a shout out. Good job!

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dealership.

I was quoted $860 for a oil change and microfilter replacement, while my car was in for other work that I couldn't take elsewhere. Unapologetically, I was told they had just recently increased their prices. For reference, other local BMW dealerships are quoting around $100 for an oil change and $50 for microfilter replacement.

A previous experience, while waiting to drop off my car during a rush, I was yelled at by garage staff for not pulling my car forward, after they had already taken my keys.

Another time, they were looking for freon in my coolant overflow reservoir in a brand new 4 series.

Their staff has been incredibly rude every time I've been there over the last few years. Find another dealership to spend your money at or get service at an independent shop for your older BMW, these guys definitely act like they don't want your business.

Went there for a regular maintenance and ended up I have 5 recalls for my car. Asked for a loaner in advance and ended up with one dirty loaner. All the loaners are taken apparently and I have to wait another 10, 15 mins for them to get the car clean. My maintenance took two days which isn't a big deal. However once again, after two days of work on my car and gave me a call saying my car is ready. Waited about 10 mins for them to get my car and my car is dirty. They did not wash or vacuum the car at all. I couldn't believe this thing happened to me twice. Clearly something is wrong with the process here.

Always an amazing experience bringing my car here for service. They have a new entrance and a new bldg to bring you car in for service and also for the loaner car return. My service advisor Wayne Hong has been taking care of my 2 Beamers and has done an outstanding job. He is punctual and always make sure you get quality service. He will take time to explain what service you need and will go over the itemized work.

Keep up the great service and the appointment scheduling was a breeze.

A little wait when I got there for an oil change, then a long wait to pick up the car. They finally found the car and ran it thru the car wash while I waited. But in between they were efficient, professional, and eager to please. The Uber ride home/back was nice and fairly quick, especially the ride back since that's usually hard to arrange.

Service was stellar. I was seen right away when I brought my car in the morning, I obtained a rental of equal value, and I was called when the car was ready to pick up. Andy was great and went out of his way to ensure good service. My only issue was picking my car up... I had nobody ahead of me yet it still took 15 minutes from the time I left the cashier until the car came to me. Minor annoyance after a really great experience.

There was no pressure whatsoever from our Sales rep Zari Shirmohamadali and She is a true professional willing to go that extra mile and flexibility. She was willing to stay overtime even after the showroom closed on days though she knew we wont make the purchase that day. It was truly a fantastic experience and we were treated nicely and we felt really special and privileged. Their new service center is nice. 4 lanes to drive in, went their couple of times and got assistance almost immediately. Representatives are helpful. At my first visit i was called for a complementary inspection but when i went their it was only visual, that was disappointing as i was thinking may be they will top off fluids, wash and do some major checks. I left without anything that day. Second time I went for a coolant leak problem which I already knew about. I had to convince them that there is a leak and they kept the vehicle. In the last visits I always got a loaner but recently they are always out of it. It took them 6 days including sat and sun because it was a major fix in turbo line. All in all felt good about CPO warranty under which they took care of some ~$3700 fix.

The sales experience was awesome, they are friendly and insisted on me driving the car again although I test drove in other dealers to make sure it is the one I want. They are knowledgeable and eager on helping the customers, with 10 dealers for the brand in the Bay Area the competition is tough and I have been to all but this one was definitely a pleasant experience

I searched a BMW M550i online and soon got reached out by Bentz and made an appointment to test drive. The process went very fast, I prepared my necessary documentations with the help of Majid and the next day Jeremy and Andy helped me went through all the paperwork for leasing. They worked over 9:30pm and gave me a very good leasing option. The application soon got approved by the bank and I drove away the wonderful car the next day. The employees there were so nice and took good care of me while I stayed there, went on details of docs and demo the car, I really enjoy this experience.

The BMW sales staff was very friendly and the location has lots of inventory. Despite having just built this building there is no customer parking, which is why I dock it a star. They have valet parking, but there is no clear signage telling you were to turn off El Camino or the highway. This is a complaint I have with a lot of dealerships but with a new place like this its inexcusable. They have great pricing on CPO cars (BMW depreciation is so bad I can't fathom why anyone but new, when they have current year CPOs). Like most dealerships they have a closer, but he's very nice in trying to get you to sign "right now".

Dealers are notorious for being swindlers, but that coupled with rude service is just too much. I had to go of my way several times to physically go to the dealership to speak with them and they never fulfilled their promises. The finance team increased the financed amount of the loan without my knowledge. When I returned the next day the Finance manager insulted me, but finally agreed to refund the amount over financed after I had to waste over an hour waiting for an answer from him. That amount was never refunded. Now onto the service department. I was contacted by them for a "courtesy after sales 60 day appointment" When I arrived for the appointment I also reported several issues with the car. The sales rep informed me there was no service do on my vehicle and the issues I was reporting would require another appointment and I should leave. He wouldn't even schedule the follow-up for me. First of all I was there, I already had an appointment! Terrible. Wasted an entire morning. They were great until I finally purchased my car... afterwards they were terrible. I'm sure all would have been fine had I not noticed the overcharge and if my car had no issues like everyone else who would rate this terrible company highly.
