Just bought a BMW 3 Series from here and had a pleasant experience for the services we received during the whole purchase process from our sales rep Michael Gervacio.
He is nice guy to work with and explains everything in details.

Love our new Bimmer and will recommend this place to potential buyers to explore.

We were looking for a lease and decided to check out a BMW 3-Series. We sent an inquiry email to BMW in Mountain View and received response back from Lee Cai very quickly. Lee was wonderful. He responded within an hour of any inquiries we sent to him. He made our experience enjoyable.

When we went to pick up the car, we wound up spending hours sitting around and filling out paperwork. The dealers hadn't notified us in advance of what they would need from us, and we nearly weren't able to buy the car as a result. Why the paperwork should take so long I cannot explain.

After quite some time searching for a BMW by dealers around the bay area, but haven't had any good experience until i meet Alec Kisin at BMW of Mountain View. This is not a tradition sales man, he actually care about his customer and make you feel valuable for the company.

Best dealership with the best people! Absolutely loved my experience there and left with the 3 series I've always wanted. The staff at this location was solely the reason why my experience was so great. They made me feel incredibly welcome and never once did I feel pressured during the decision making process. The only "negative" thing I can say is that the showroom is filled with beautiful BMWs that will make you drool and will make you want to spend all your savings on all the cars. A huge thanks to Ken Lee (my sales rep), the GM and managers who made my dreams come true! Thank you!!

My wife and I had a series of unfortunate experiences initially with BMW of Fremont. After writing to Peter Scibetta - who at the time I thought was the GM of BMW Fremont - Peter contacted me and stated he was actually the new GM at BMW Mountain View after leaving the Fremont location.

Very soon thereafter, Sergio Castro contacted me and my wife and wanted to do everything they could to find us the car we wanted, and at the desired price, and they delivered in every possible way.

The exact car was found, and we got the price we wanted. Sergio and the team at Mountain View made the entire experience, easy, simple, and the paperwork was done quickly, so we could get on the road and enjoy our new purchase.

I highly recommend Sergio and the entire Mountain View team if you are looking for a new BMW.

Went I got my car back my alligment was off even though I was informed my vehicle was all good to go since they only had to top off fluids and air in my tires after a check-up. When I returned to the dealership I was waiting to be called on when my car was ready. It had been ready for about 30 minutes and nobody ever communicated to me that it was ready at that given time. Now why can't they simply inform a customer and not assume their clients know what they know?

We just bought our 18 year old daughter her first car, a BMW 320i series. Gaurav "G" was our guy in helping us get this piece of beauty out the lot. He was super informative, honest, and knowledgeable. Very responsive and friendly. He made my daughter's first experience great. Everything was fast and smooth and we never once felt any pressure from him, just all good insights. Thank you G, my daughter is in love with her car who she calls her baby. If you ever want to purchase a car at the BMW Mountain View, please ask for G.. he is the best!! :)

I leased a '13 335is from here three weeks ago. This is my 3rd BMW.

I found the car online, came in, put $5k down, signed everything, and left with the car on the same day. Great experience so far.

A few days later I get a call from the dealership that BMW actually needs $1.5k more down. No biggie, I come in, sign a new agreement, and pay later that day.

The next week I get another call, that the finance guy misread the agreement and BMW needs $2k more down. At this point I'm getting frustrated, and make arrangements to come in on the following day.

I come in, and am told that BMW won't cover the optional wheel and body damage lease end plans that I signed up for on day one. So if there are any chips or dents on the wheel when my lease is up, BMW will make me pay $2k per rim for damage (plus any damage to the bodywork). I like this car and don't want to go through the process again, so I sign and pay up again.

I've loved these cars ever since I got my license, but that love affair is now over. My next car will not be a BMW.

tldr; BMW kept changing the terms on me, weeks after I signed the lease agreement.

UPDATE: The next day after posting this review, I received a call from BMW corporate. They told me that they saw my negative review, and gave back the wheel and body damage plans at no cost.

UPDATE 2: Three years later, I turned my lease in. Turns out the dealership had no record of the phone call, and no record of wheel and tire insurance. I ended up paying around $2k out of pocket to replace the wheels, and $2k for new tires. I will no longer be a BMW customer - this was a really, really bad experience and I feel like I got totally gouged.

Can't say anything for the sales but the quality of service work done on my car has been sub-par, downright negligent.

The two times I brought in my 2-series for service, the service techs forgot to complete crucial and easy steps (outlined below), that required me to come back for a remedy.

1) Had a tire replacement and alignment done. Service techs forgot to align my steering wheel, forcing me to drive at 15 degrees in order to go straight.

2) Basic oil change. Service techs forgot to reset the service internal counter so the car still says I required an oil change.

I understand everyone makes mistakes and people have bad days, but if they forget these seemingly obvious and mundane details, I'm worried about what more critical steps can be overlooked.

What a disappointment. I had to reserve my car service more than a week ahead of time in order to get a loaner car. When I checked in I was told my car wouldn't be ready for 5 hours. I had to wait 30+ minutes in line to get a loaner car that was already reserved for me. An hour later they called to say my car was ready (why did I need the loaner car?). I waited outside for 20 minutes for them to bring my car out. They did not wash my car even though I was told it was a standard part of the service. What they don't know is I own the civil engineering company that is in charge of designing their new service facility. . . I really miss my Lexus dealer.

We have just completed our third purchase from BMW (Mountain View), all in the past 30 months, all with the same exceptional individual Joe W.

He s absolutely a class act, a true gentlemen whom would much rather not sell you a new vehicle if you felt in anyway rushed / pressured.
Can t speak highly enough of his attention to detail and the care he takes.

We re already lined up for a 2022 model with him.

Service was fine/great. However, it s kind of ridiculous that BMW doesn t provide a shuttle, loaner car, or even reimbursement for Lyft/Uber/taxi. It s a premium car, I purchased an extended warranty/service package, and I am a regular customer at the dealership. I paid out of pocket fees of over $500, seems that BMW can at least reimburse the transportation (less than $40 round trip). (My car was at the dealership for 2+ days, so I couldn t have waited there.)

Awful! I tried to have a test drive on i8 and they scheduled appointment.
Lady on the phone was super rude. On the date I DID NOT get to test drive the car saying it's a 160K car so they can't let unless you want to buy it. LOL.
There are plenty of BMW dealerships around and I did get to test drive my i8. It's funny to see their attitude towards a prospect for an expensive car.

The service writer forgot to inform my wife of the estimated cost and get her approval for a routine service, so it wasn't until she had made a 50 minute round trip that he called to say it would be $2,000! Just for fluids, filters, and the like, nothing major! So we said no thanks, and another 50 minute round trip later the car was back in our driveway, with other service arrangements made.

Nothing bad happened, but IMO vastly overpriced service, and compounded by (an understandable) human oversight.

I just bought CPO 2011 528i and brought it in for service and had the best possible expreience. My service rep Aaron Nunes called me to inform they picked up and problem with one tire rim. I hadn't noticed a thing while driving. It was fixed and I'm sure this has saved me thousands of dollars of future repairs. Thanks Aaron and everyone at The Service Center at BMW Mountain View! Very careful when you buy cars from this dealershi...

Very careful when you buy cars from this dealership. I leased a 2016 328i CPO 4 months back which had 8000 miles on it. The sales person claimed the car is excellent condition and the tires are brand new. I used the car for another 3000 miles and had a nail on the rear tire. When I took the car to nearby BMW, they informed me that the tires are in yellow (it means 75% of its life is over and I have to replace the tires in next month or earlier in order to survive the rainy weather conditions. I was frustrated and went to BMW Mountain View and raised my concern. The sales manager who was talking to me said that the sales person is no longer with the dealership and asked me to contact him and claimed that they are not responsible. How can the tires go bad in just 11k miles? is that's the overall life for a tire? Rather addressing my concerns, he is asking me to change the way I drive. I'm using cars since last 12 years and never had any complaints on tires.

The dealership is not ready to take responsibility since the sale is over. I'm really frustrated and unhappy the way I was cheated. Please make sure you do all investigations before you buy the car from them. This was not a pleasant experience for me.

Finance dept. are the worst ever met, group of liars, don't care about their clients, all what they need is to get the deal done and make the highest profit possible, they don't listen to customer's needs or direction however after the car is sold and all paperwork completed they offer their apology and life goes on. Will never visit this dealership again.

Great service and great perseverance. My convertible top sensors were giving false positives and the team at BMW of Mountain View worked through a whole plethora of possible causes before finally figuring it out. They were great at communicating progress along the way, lent me a great loaner car for the duration of the service, and after solving the problem, I got my car back so sparkly clean it felt like new!

Service need because car stopped suddenly. First asked how old my battery was; when I said it was less than 2 years old and under warranty, problem was diagnosed as bad fuel pump. That was replaced and car still wouldn't start - now needed fuel pump relay. That was replaced and then oil leak discovered (I had no evidence of an oil leak prior to fuel pump replacement. Said I needed new oil valve gasket cover. When I said that I had that replaced less than two years ago and it should be under warranty, was told that I needed to take it to Stevens Creek BMW for service because they did the original oil leak work. Called Stevens Creek BMW and they were happy to fix it, but told me that because I purchased genuine BMW parts and had it serviced at the dealership, that any BMW dealership should honor the two year service warranty. I called back to Mountain View and was told that they would do the work (after trying again to get me to take the car to Stevens Creek). When I picked up the car, I was told how poorly Stevens Creek did the original service. From a customer service standpoint, I am very disappointed. Poor attitude, ill speaking of another BMW dealership, and making me call back and forth is not the professional experience I expect.

Very unsatisfied with the BMW service center in Mountain View. Work done is good, its just the wait time after the work is done that is a problem for me. I have been there twice for servicing, once maintenance activity is done, they call me that I can pick up the car. When I go there, I have to wait at least 30minutes before I get my car back. Last time i waited for 20 minutes and then they got my car back and it was not washed. They took another 10 minutes to wash the car (which is fine). But even after all this, car wasn't washed properly. My advice is if you go there o pick up your car after servicing is done, make sure you ask the adviser to check if the car is washed and you can get it right away within 5-10 minutes.

My girlfriend and I arrived late on a Sunday night, as we didn't know the closing hours for the dealership. Mr. Lee Cai was available to help us, despite it being literally a couple minutes before closing. I very much appreciated his directness, yet charm and grace as well. He found us a perfect used X5 that was exactly what I wanted. The next morning, with the dealership being opened officially I completed the deal quickly and am very happy with how quick, smooth and again, direct in the communication my experience was.

I have previously bought a used 328i wagon from Weatherford in Berkeley and didn't like my experience at all. BMW of Mountain View was more personable, but I'm sure it also helps to have gone there when it was less busy. Competitively too, I think the prices are better at Mountain View than in Berkeley (could also be the fact that Automation is the largest dealership company in the country).

It's worth your drive down there if you're from SF or Berkeley/Oakland.

Buying my X3 was an excellent experience overall. The salespeople patiently worked with me to close the deal with the right vehicle at a fair price. I received outstanding customer service from sales. Appreciated the input I received from the Finance dept as well to find the right purchase option. LOST our BUSINESS TWICE & WE'd NEVER GO BACK

LOST our BUSINESS TWICE & WE'd NEVER GO BACK
1: Last year we had two options to choose from a 1 year old Mercedes and a new BMW (which only this branch had), we went for a test drive, the guy was not at all friendly, when we started asking questions he looked kind of mad, and at the end his boss and him mentioned Mercedes is for old people and I should look at the drivers on the street. They didn't even try to bring up the features to convince us that this was a better car (probably it wasn't?!) and we decided we don't want to deal with that kind of attitude for a few years!

2: A few days ago we went there again for a test drive, the guy didn't know anything, it took him a long time to figure out if they have the model we were looking for or not, and longer time to bring out a car for a test drive. Then they played a little show with another colleague trying to show that they have customer who wants to buy the exact same car right away if I don't buy it. And he downplayed the leasing options for us with absolute wrong information (we already knew all the numbers)! And when we said that we need to think, he got pissed off (ensuring us that we definitely don't want to go back there even if we decide to buy that car)

They really need some training on how to deal with customers!

I've been their regular customer for many years, and I do not have any major complains. I just did some recall repairs on my X3 and I was completely satisfied with the results: the process was fast, the loaner was clean, and my car was returned on time fixed, washed and vacuumed. My service consultant, Branden Casey, returned all my phone calls and was very professional and helpful. Picking up the car took a bit longer than expected, however I got it freshly washed, so no complains about that. Overall recommended.

Had a great experience buying a CPO 2015 i3. After an initial frustrating experience that was not her fault, Laura Blanc really stepped up and delivered phenomenal service. She went out of her way to make sure we got the car we wanted. Laura was friendly, professional, and courteous. She made sure I was comfortable and was attentive to my needs. They were a little shorthanded that day and she was very apologetic about the extended wait. I didn t mind because she acknowledged the delay and constantly kept me updated. Laura proved that delivering awesome customer service can overcome any bumps along the way. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

We ended up in a strange situation where we had to go to a different service center for repairs and maintenance. A snafu occurred with paperwork details that ended up with us potentially having to pay $1000 for something that was covered under our current lease agreement. Obviously we threw a fit and told the other BMW center that we weren't going to pay it and then we called our normal service center -- Mountain View -- and told them about this messed up situation. And they fixed it for us. Specifically Steve, the sales manager -- just figured out a way to sort it out so we didn't have to pay that ridiculous $1000 that was due to a clerical error. So, THANK YOU Steve!! As usual, the service at this location is top notch.

this was a very unhappy experience in so many ways, for one to have the service man John know I was at the light by the dealership and he doesn't have the courtesy to stay around to talk about what was done. Whoever called Uber didn't tell them where they should drop me off and it ended up being in a dark parking lot. I have only been to your dealership to buy the x3 once, so I was completely lost. This should never have happened.
Nor should I have been charged the diagnostic fee when I couldn't get an answer from John until I called him and then he returned my call a day later. I still don't know what was found out because he wasn't there to explain. He called once and said he would call back and now its Monday and I have never heard back from him. Today there was light on the dash board -meaning something wasn't right and definitely it wasn't there when I brought my x3 in. I have been a downtown merchant in Menlo Park for 25 years and my customers are shocked at how I was treated.
