They are professional and very friendly here. I have been a patient here, and I have to tell you that they are very helpful. This place is the great place to get braces done and get retainers. They also do adjustments for the retainers too. A lot of my friends do/did come here for the same thing. I also notice that people come from very far away for this purpose too (perhaps as far as Glenview). When I was a kid, my teeth were once so out of line that I can't verbally describe, but by the time I got my braces off and ever since I got my retainers, my teeth have been nice and straight.

Dr. Hertzberg is the best orthodontist. He is detailed, knowledgeable and a perfectionist. When you leave the office with your braces off, your teeth are perfect. He leaves no stone unturned. He is prolific and explains everything to you. He is open and will explain the nuances and answer your questions without hesitation. Everyone on staff is very accommodating and friendly. I'm always greeted with a smile. My check up appointments are never more than 10 minutes and I don't wait but 2-3 minutes in the waiting room. Its an expeditious office process.

We will soon begin our treatment process and have been to Grayslake Orthodontics several times for evaluations. My daughter can't wait to go each time. This office is very friendly!

They are being cautious about COVID, but they remain friendly and accommodating.

Both my children have been under the care of Dr. Hertzberg. We have been very pleased with his service. We feel he and his staff are always willing to spend time answering our questions honestly and providing the best care for our kids. The staff is very friendly and the office is always inviting which makes visits one to look forward to.

Grayslake Orthodontics - Dr.Benjamin Youel and his professional team made us feel comfortable since our first visit. The front desk is very professional and friendly. They are always available to answers all the questions.

My son goes there. Nice office and professional staff, although they recently lost one of our favorite staff members and Dr. Hertzberg moved to Texas . Office hours are very inconvenient for BOTH parents and children and there's NO Saturday office hours & they are closed all day Friday. Basically, you're looking at a 4 day work week here to get a child in, Monday thru Thursday. Closed Fr-Sunday. One often has to take their child out of school for appointments if there's an issue with their braces, bands etc. How can they be closed all weekend? How about some office hours on Saturday from at least 9-1 or so???

Now that Dr. Hertzberg is gone and moved to TX, I was hoping for some more convenient office hours, perhaps a Saturday morning time, but alas, it was not to be. Dr. Youel, here's hoping that you'll reevaluate the hours of availability.

Both my children & I had treatment here. Dr Hertzberg is very knowledgeable & he answered all my questions. The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this office.

Always a great experience! I ve been going here my whole life and wouldn t want to go anywhere else. Cassie (sorry if i spelled it wrong) is the best, always so nice and I can tell she works hard at what she does. I know it s not up to me but that woman deserves a raise:). Dr.Ben and the rest of the staff are always so nice as well and do great work! They helped me fix an overbite I was insecure about for years. Would definitely recommend to family/friends.

Two of my children have been under the care of Dr. Hertzberg. I'm in the dental industry myself therefore, I'm familiar with the procedures and what the end result should look like and Dr. Hertzberg is spot on! We've been so pleased with the results even if it takes a couple extra months to achieve perfection. The staff is very accommodating when it comes to appointments, and they are pleasant and fun to work with. I feel his services are reasonably priced in comparison with other orthodontist in the area. I highly recommend Grayslake Orthodontics for a beautiful smile.

Dr Hertzberg and his team are superb! The office is spotless, and designed around making your child feel comfortable and entertained- my daughter looks forward to her appointments! Everything was explained very thoroughly before we started treatment. The staff is extremely professional, skilled and kind- from the front desk team to the technicians. Everyone in this office seems very nice. They are very well organized and I really appreciated them having the cost estimate including my insurance coverage immediately at the end of the consultation. Dr. Hertzberg talks extremely fast though. He should really try harder to slow down, especially when explaining the treatment plan with a brand new patient. That said, he did try hard to answer our questions and did not try to rush us out of the room. We will probably be using him so will update at a later date with how it is going!

Dr. Hertzberg and his staff are great with kids, makes them feel comfortable and relaxed. The office itself offers games and tv for kids, they do raffles to motivate kids to follow proper instructions. And as a parent I don't feel pushed or rushed, unlike other offices. They also offer payment options and accept insurance. Would recommend.

Dr Hertzberg and his staff are incredible. He has treated 3 of my children and one has serious issues with her jaw / teeth. He has been 100 % engaged the whole way and her teeth are so much better ! Would absolutely recommend this office .

The staff was very friendly, took time to give me a tour, explained what happen each rooms function is, and took detail time to explain the procedure with models and pictures. The doctor asked many times if we had questions and was very nice and fill of energy. The office was Very busy but I did not have to wait long. All of the kids seemed very happy to be there, oddly enough.

My son and I have the best experience each month we are in the office. All team members are so sweet and take the time to greet us and ask if there is anything they can do for us. It is also consistently a quick visit. No long waiting room times, in and out.

Dr. Hertzberg and the ENTIRE staff at Grayslake Ortho is FABULOUS! When Isabella, my oldest, 1st started came to the office, she was terrified and unsure of what to expect. But the staff made her feel at ease, comfortable and she actually enjoyed herself. Since our 1st visit 2 years ago, she has looked forward to every single visit. Even her younger sisters ask if they can go. Dr. Hertzberg is a genuine, caring, ethical, smart, kind individual. He is as wonderful with kids as he is with parents. He explains things clearly and simply and is always able to answer any question you may have. I trust him completely!

I went to Grayslake Ortho for my first time and it was AMAZING! Dr. Ben was very sweet and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and fully explained to me my options and what would work best for me. Brenda, the assistant, was very sweet as well. She was nice and funny! She helped to show me the best ways to put in and take off my trays when I first received them. Even when one of my attachments fell off the staff and Dr. Ben were soon to fit me in right away to get it all fixed for me! I can truly say that my experience there has been so great. Dr. Ben is truly amazing and so is the whole staff there! They have been so nice and super respectful. I can't wait to see my final results! :)

Dr. Hertzberg and his staff are always very helpful, caring, thorough, understanding and efficient. We have had 5 family members receive treatment through his practice and will have our youngest two children receive orthodontia treatment there as well. Our smiles are proof of work well done!

We love Dr. Hertzberg at Grayslake Orthodontics! My son has been going here for just over a year and his appointments have been so convenient and the office staff is so pleasant. They are always on time and we are in and out so fast. Dr. Hertzberg has done an excellent job straightening my son s teeth and he s likely to get his braces off in a couple more months! Place is great! I would rate much higher if the hours were more convenient. Just doesn't make sense for closings on Fridays and almost the entire 2 weeks (winter break), when kids don't have to get pulled out of school to come in.

I went here, my kids go here. My co workers and their kids go here! Dr. Hertzberg is professional and kind. His staff is great and very informative. They make you feel comfortable and keep parents and patients informed of what they are doing.

Dr. Ben and his assistants are amazing!! Very welcoming and clean environment. I ve been a patient now with adult braces for about 7 1/2 months and they have truly helped me and explain every detail through every appointment almost at the finish line.

Two of our kids received braces from Dr. Hertzberg . The team at Grayslake Ortho is awesome. They made sure my kids understood, and felt comfortable, with the whole treatment plan and procedures. They do a great job educating their patients on proper hygiene maintenance and technique. The kids look forward to the monthly visit and trying out different colors on their braces. Oh and the videos games and free wifi, is a definite plus, especially if there is a slight wait time!

Our family has been patients at Grayslake Orthodontics for about 1.5 years. Dr. Hertzberg is very knowledgeable, efficient and easy to work with. He will only begin treatment once your child's mouth is ready so there are no "extras". I had Invisilign to correct TMJ and a bite problem. One of my children had an expander and wears a retainer now while waiting for the right time to put on braces. My other child is currently in braces. His staff is very friendly and helpful. It's been a great experience.

They are prompt, courteous, and professional while remaining to have a friendly and personal repore with the patients. Would and have recommended!

Dr. Hertzberg is amazing. Great for kids AND adults. My daughter had a small mouth area, crooked teeth and an under bite. In 18 months, her teeth were perfect. My son had similar issues, and now he has straight teeth. Their problems were genetic as I have the same issues. Once they were done, I went in and the doctor fixed my teeth as well. The staff is professional and friendly, the office is clean and comfortable and the payment plans were flexible. I highly recommend Dr. Hertzberg for all orthodontic needs.

I took my daughter to 4 other locations for a consultation before deciding. This is a 2 year treatment and I wanted to make the best choice for my daughter not just the easiest and cheapest. The office is clean, the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Appointments always run on time and they have been flexible with my schedule which I am grateful for. The financial coordinator worked with me and my insurance to get the best financial plan to suit my needs. The assistants are very informative and make my daughter feel comfortable at every visit. And finally the main reason I chose Grayslake Orthodontics was because of Dr. Youel. He honestly gave the best consultation. He didn't just tell me but thoroughly explained everything to me and my daughter. He offered the treatment plan that I was hoping for specifically for my daughter and her needs. I'll also add that although I made made decision my daughter 100% agreed in choosing Grayslake Orthodontics.

Everyone was Extremely patient with my crazy nervous 7 year old. She now goes back to her appointments happily by herself.

Dr. Hertzberg really knows his stuff. I felt really confident talking with him when getting my braces on. Now that they are off I m happy to smile, showing off my straight teeth! I highly recommend him if you want someone who won t just make your teeth straight but will make them perfect! Also the staff is outstanding and friendly!

Only the beginning since my son just got braces put on but staff is very friendly, orthodontist comes in and explains everything before taking the patient back. They gave me everything my son might need in a bag (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss sticks, wax, little brush for getting food out of teeth and braces). They did a demonstration of how to brush and floss and use wax before we left the office. The doctor came by at that point and told me how the appointment went and when we need to come back. Always on time with the 3 appointments we ve already had. So far a good experience.

Office is clean and staff are all friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ben does a great job explaining treatment plan and showing pictures/x-rays during the process. Two of my children currently are patients and they are both happy and willing to go to appointments even solo during the pandemic (they are 10 and 7.5). Dr. Ben has been great monitoring my daughters teeth and movement process over the past year, just recently recommending braces to improve spacing for adult teeth to come in. Through the pandemic we have had options for this monitoring to be in person or through pictures we have taken at home and submitted followed by an email check in with Dr. Ben. We have had a great experience overall.

The whole staff is always kind and friendly, and they make the experience easy on the kids. They take the time to give updates to the parents, and they explain things well to the kids, too. My son's teeth look amazing after his braces were taken off this week!

I appreciate the honesty and great care given at Grayslake Orthodontics. They work quickly and with no nonsense and I truly feel like my son is on his way to having a perfect smile!
