Sergio from BMW Mountain view contacted me for BMW i3. I was very impressed with his straight forward to the point discussion about car. We came to the deal with just few emails back and forth.

He was very prompt in response and within span of 4 hours since he called me, I bought the car.

Also my interaction with Finance department was pleasant and doing paper work was pleasant. Overall we had great experience buying car from this dealership.

Customer service from BMW Mountain View has been great and I will definitely go back to BMW of Mountain View for my further BMW car purchases or will refer a friend who is looking for BMW.

I recently bought a sedan from here. The deal was sealed on my 3rd visit. My overall experience was positive. I'd like to list out a few pros & cons.
Pros:
1. The sales reps are not pushy! I was assisted by Ken. I was given the necessary information by him and was allowed to have my space to make a decision.
2. I was initially looking for a 3 series sedan. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) the car I liked, got sold. Ken helped me look for other cars based on my needs. He followed up through emails, but made sure he did not bother me!
3. The finance guy did not dump things on me and respected my choices.
4. The test drive was way longer compared to other dealerships.
5. So far, they have followed up courteously and have been helpful by answering my questions.

Cons:
1. There was 0 discount on the advertised price. And there were no add-ons. I understand that they follow a 1 price policy, but I thought I paid slightly more than what the car was worth.
2. Their inventory is not as big as some other dealers.

Mountain view BMW - exceptional service from David, my SA. I am totally impressed with work quality done on my BMW X5. Quality work, professional place and excellent service from David are very important to me. I highly recommend BMW Mountain View for all your needs of BMW repair. David always updates how my car is and lets me know when it is ready for pickup. No hassles and No Worries with confident works from BMW. Something independent shops can not offer. David always try to accommodate this repair service with some coupons. That is a big help ...

I bought a certified car from them. The same day I noticed a relatively small issue with the sync for my phone and music. I emailed the sales clerk to tell him. He told me I could get it fixed anywhere. When I went to have it fixed, the dealership told me they weren t responsible because it was out of warranty. Even though this wasn t a warranty issue, it was an issue with them selling me damaged vehicle.

I ve been a customer of BMW Mountain View for awhile now. I brought my 328i in with some questions. The service department was really busy, but fortunately I found help from one of the geniuses Ben. He made sure to answer all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had. I was really floored by the level of service provided by Ben and it really shows that BMW cares about retaining their long time customers.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find the BMW 340i in the color and options I wanted, and at a reasonable price. Michael Gervacio was very helpful with the test drive, looking at the inventory to see the exterior and interior colors in person vs online pictures, and then searched and found the right vehicle at the Southern California port of entry. It took a week for the car to be set up and transported but well worth the wait to get exactly what I wanted in terms of options and not have to wait 6-8 weeks for a factory order. The AutoNation discounts off MSRP brought the final price pretty close to the dealer invoice according to a couple of Internet sites calculations, so I feel I got a good deal too. Everyone I dealt with at BMW of Mountain View was very friendly, not pushy, and definitely a cut above other dealer experiences. I'm really enjoying the new Beamer so far!

I've never felt compelled to leave a negative review anywhere until today.

i walked into BMW of Mountain View tonight with intent to find a car quick, sign papers, and give away a decent amount of money. That didn't happen.

I arrived in the car I already own (also a BMW). I entered the showroom and it was clear the one gentleman inside sitting down couldn't be bothered. I paced around for a couple of minutes and another gentleman walked toward me, paused to talk to the seated guy for a couple of minutes, and then approached me finally to ask if I needed help. I told him I was interested in a new 340i. He then invited me to sit by his desk. He explained that the computer database was down (for a place hawking six figure "ultimate driving machines" you really ought to get your stuff together - this is Silicon Vally for goodness sake). He said we could walk around all of their lots but we probably would have trouble finding exactly what we want without the system working. He did not offer to show us any 340i or comparable car. He did not offer a timeline when the system would even be up. While I opened my mouth to begin to ask about this, his phone rang, and he immediately answered it right in my face.

I mean, this was poor behavior. Already the experience was becoming very undignified, especially considering I was prepared to part with absurdly large sums of money.

So he starts chatting with this person on the phone. He says something like "you called at the perfect time because a two series just came in. Now do you want the stick shift..." at this point I stood up and declared audibly that I'm leaving because I'm unwilling to be treated like this.

Outside when I was nearly at my car he approached me and apologized. Thanks for the apology, but honestly, you did me a favor. I've been on the fence about getting a new car anyway in the era of rentals and uber and zipcar, but experiences like these, maintenance horror stories, and the frustration of haggling over vehicle cost like we are in some third world country are enough. First off, you'll never get my business, because your dealership in particular is undeserving. Second, I think I'm done with cars, except maybe (a big maybe) I'd consider a Tesla because they succeed everywhere you fail.

Went I got my car back my alligment was off even though I was informed my vehicle was all good to go since they only had to top off fluids and air in my tires after a check-up. When I returned to the dealership I was waiting to be called on when my car was ready. It had been ready for about 30 minutes and nobody ever communicated to me that it was ready at that given time. Now why can't they simply inform a customer and not assume their clients know what they know?

This place is an absolute rip off. 50 to 100 percent more than all other BMW service centers in the Bay Area. And they tell you your brakes need to be replaced for $2,400 when all other shops say they re still good. And it would only cost $500 everywhere else. Don t go to BMW of Mountain View. Peter Pan BMW is much much better!

They sold me a defective BMW 2014. Don t trust the inspections it said the car was in perfect condition with only 20k miles. 4 days after purchasing, it STOPPED while I was on the road and would not start so I had to get it towed to the dealership from Carmel where they car shut down. They still have not paid my towing or lyft fees I ve lost $500 and countless hours with them. On top of this, they were extremely slow throughout the purchasing process had to wait 3 hours to complete the paperwork. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a car dealer.

I had an amazing experience with BMW of Mountain View buying a second hand BMW X3. Their pricing is transparent and fair. Our representative Mr. Bahman is knowledgable and friendly and extremely helpful. He stayed late to work with us because we made a last min same day appointment. The finance director Sean was so amazing to work with as well. After the purchase, it was quite late. Mr. Bahman offered me a ride to Caltrain because my new purchase still needed to be detailed. I will surely go back when I'm ready to purchase my next BMW.

It is safe to say, if you arrive there, because it is a salesmen goal / job, you will be treated with topnotch customer service - make you feel like VIP. However, it is bad customer service after one is sold the vehicle and can't speak to a real person in the service department. Answers are ambiguous regarding service turn around time. I've called leaving contact info and do not receive a call back. Client went there for a service not realizing it would take 3 hrs - he had to wait until his vehicle was finished. I once experienced this at another dealer (Not BMW) and it was good customer service because at least they offered a ride back to my work place. To me, good customer service is speaking to a real person versus a machine to confirm things, get at least a time window and stick to it. I understand shop is busy, just like everyone else. However, good communication with customers and keeping their word makes an impact on clientele.

BEWARE: THIS COMPANY TOOK DOWN MY PREVIOUS NEGATIVE. CHECK OTHER REVIEW WEBSITES FOR MORE REVIEWS ON BMW MOUNTAIN VIEW.

I posted a detailed negative review on BMW of Mountain View recently, and it was taken down. Instead of addressing my complaint, someone decided the best course of action was to simply have my negative review taken out. Curious to know what I wrote that triggered this reaction? See attached screenshot of my previous review.

UPDATE:
Guess what? The photo I uploaded was taken down too!
This is seriously frightening stuff!

The service center building is separate and signs are posted up front so you drive to th right place. Once you get to the center, line splits for loaner and service, they have an area for early drop off also. As always get an appointment and see if you can arrange for a loaner upfront, they also have Lift option here. Sitting area with coffee and tea is up stairs if you are waiting. Service advisors are spaced out and very polite. Enterprise manages the loaner onsite which felt under staffed for a booked weekend as pickup and drop off does take time. My service advisor was kind enough to come over and take over the return part and let me be on my way. Place was spotless top to bottom and one can appreciate the sun coming in everywhere with their showroom design.

Great service advisors, but my problem has not been solved after 3 visits (and $1000+ spend) over the course of last 4 months. Faced with a "high battery drain" issue on my 2007 X5, the console warning resurfaced as I write this review, while I am told the technician doesn't see the fault in vehicle log, nor was the apparent leak traced even after weeks of testing in their service center, with "experts" coming in from their engineering labs here etc. Don't really appreciate the fact that this is unresolved, no fix offered, and BMW service has washed their hands, not owning up to the problem.

My husband and I had a great experience at the BMW of Mountain View. We had a great sales rep, his name was Gaurav Pathak G .
G was great at his job. He was a great resource to us, he made sure to learn what our specific wants and needs were as a customer and he delivered. Most importantly he was not aggressive with his sale and instead gave us plenty of room to make our decisions.
Even after our purchase, G has followed up with us numerous times to ensure we were satisfied with our vehicle and ensured we did not have any questions.
Great customer service G , thank you for your humble assistance.

Very disappointing and frustrating experience simply trying to make an appointment. (Probably if I called the sales department my call would have been returned immediately....)

Writing a second post because our experience was that bad. Mike in the lease return department is the absolute worst! Horrible customer service, horrible demeanor, and gets offended easily. He made our lease return this last week an absolute nightmare. Tried to charge us $1200 for a small chip in the windshield. We went to another dealer and they said the chip is not in drivers field of view so no need to charge for it. Mike is the definition of someone YOU DO NOT WANT to deal with when turning a car in for a lease. He makes a big deal out of nothing and his goal is to make BMW extra money, not save the customer money.

I get better customer service at Taco Bell than I do with Mike. He needs to go.

We've always had different European vehicles and feel that there is improvement needed with BMW and the dealership at Mountain View in general. While maintenance service and adviser have been great to work with on previous occasions, the latest fiasco caused almost an hour wait. The cashier mixed up the pick order by only using last name and not verifying tag number, make/model, etc. and the experience is by far sub-standard for a 'luxury' brand.

Awful customer service! My family and I were just there seriously shopping for a new car. Looking around on our own for over 20-30 minutes. Not a single sales rep approached us. There were many available reps sitting around and clearly not helping anyone, and it was obvious that they saw my husband and I looking around to get some assistance. Finally we just walked out. Very unfortunate that they won't be getting our business!

i found the car and negotiated the price online with Don Hong (sales). he was easy to work with and not pushy at all. i told him i bought a car from mt view 2 years ago and he tried his best to get my business by getting me the best discount. we pretty much nailed down the price in 2-3 emails.

the day of pick up and signing, if you haven't been, the new building is gorgeous and above all i got to work with Hadi (finance manager). I have to say Hadi is the nicest and most respectful finance manager i have ever worked with. he's patient, friendly and genuinely happy for his clients. truly a pleasure to work with...he didn't pressure me to buy extended warranty or maintenance. instead he explained each line item and listened to my needs. great guy, great experience and great dealership. highly recommended!!!

Terrible Service by Sean Sundland (service advisor...

Terrible Service by Sean Sundland (service advisor)

My harman kardon stereo had issues from day 1. I had my appointment booked online for 25th Aug, I made the booking 3 days prior and booked shuttle as a mode of transportation.

On the day of my appointment, while I was driving to drop my car to service, I get a call from the Service Advisor, SEAN SUNDLAND (25 minutes prior to my service) that to check and fix any issues with my stereo, it will take more than a day. He has not even looked into my car speakers, not sure how he thought it will take more than a day. I reach the Service Center and agreed to leave my car for an extra day but he refused to give me a loaner. I understand that the loaners are pretty popular and they run out of it but they don't even want to give me a rental. Service Advisor (SEAN SUNDLAND) calls himself as the manager and says its a non-hazardous issue and they cannot help me with a loaner/rental car
At the service desk, receptionist is trying to help me out by saying, she can get me with a rental car but this Advisor is not letting her do it.
I wasn't prepared to leave my car for more than a day but I was okay with an extra day but you can't drive away your customer saying you can't help

I have already come to your center, a week prior, to talk with a product genius regarding the issue and based on his recommendation, I booked an appointment. If you need an extra day, you should let us know, prior to coming to your center and if not, you are responsible to make necessary arrangements

I wasted an hour in traffic to drop my vehicle and then being asked to take my vehicle back coz you don't know, how to take care of your customers

This is my second BMW and never expereienced such a rude and terrible service

I will be honest here. I came to the store with high hopes about getting info about the models and expectations that I had regarding the car i wanted to buy and was gonna finalize the deal in next few days. Unfortunately now I am not planning to opt in for BMW. We weren t treated nicely (1hr waiting without informing anything about ETA and all), ! Importantly the person that was helping us almost had no interest in giving us information. We were asking genuine questions but he was answering as if you dont even know this !! , yes ofcourse we dont know this. Not everyone comes with full online survey. I asked him to atleast give me list of resale car options currently he said there is nothing here currently that fullfils my need, atleast show us mahn!
I know I shouldn t choose cars based on how dealers guide me, but I have totally lost interest after that day and no longer interested. Sorry !

I have had an awful experience with this dealershi...

I have had an awful experience with this dealership from the day I started dealing with them over two years ago. Here's a quick summary of everything I went through:

1. I came to the dealership already knowing the car I wanted to purchase, but dealing with the sales rep was awful. He frequently misrepresented the features of the car (didn't really matter since I had done my research and knew what I was getting), lied about timelines for delivery, was frequently out of contact with me around the days the car was supposed to arrive, and was generally unhelpful.

2. The service centre rarely picks up the phone when you call during business hours, sometimes takes days to call back, and sometimes just never calls back when trying to book an appointment. The first time I was booking my service appointment, they didn't pick up the first 4 times I called over 4 days, and I had left two messages for them which they did not reply to for several days.

3. My (parked) car had gotten hit in a parking lot a year after purchase. Since the repair was fully covered under warranty, I decided to get it taken care of by the dealership. I went to the dealership for an estimate, and they asked me to leave the car with them for the day to do the estimate. When I picked up the car at the end of the day, the service rep had already left, and nobody knew where the estimate was. I called back repeatedly over three days, eventually getting in touch with the rep, who said he'd email me the estimate later. I had to call back again two days after just to get him to actually send the estimate. When I was finally ready to bring the car in for repair, the dealership mis-coordinated with the insurance company, causing the repair process to take an extra 2 weeks (roughly).

4. Two years after purchase, a bulge had appeared on a tire after a long ride. I had BMW's warranty for tire leaks, so I brought the car in to the dealership. After looking at the car, the BMW rep said the car was not covered under warranty because "air was not leaving the tire". I had repeated conversations with them saying that I spent $700 on a warranty to cover exactly this type of damage, but they said they didn't agree and would not fix it under warranty. I ended up having to call the BMW warranty line myself, and after a VERY short conversation they said that the damage was absolutely covered under warranty, and I had to coordinate the dealership with the BMW warranty people to make sure they'd fix it under warranty. The hassle to do this was unbelievable.

5. Finally, their estimates for any sort of work on the car are around 40% more expensive than small car repair shop for the same work.

The point is, if you're looking to purchase a BMW, or have a dealership that offers great service, go somewhere else.

I was charged extra $200 for a window sealing repair and the advisor Marco promised he would refund the credits back to me, because it's his fault.

This review is directed to Mike in the lease retur...

This review is directed to Mike in the lease return department. To start, my family has leased BMWs for decades and have never had any issues.
October 21, 2020, we go to return my 330i wagon at BMW of Mountain View and dealt with a gentleman named Mike, who is the head of lease return. Mike made this process incredibly difficult and had horrible methods of customer service. He wanted to charge us $1200 for a very small chip in the windshield which was on the passenger side. We felt this charge was unreasonable and became frustrated because Mike continued to insist this is a standard charge that would happen at any BMW dealership. We wanted to take a day to decide how we would handle it. We were told by Mike on the 21st we could leave the car at the dealership for a day and come back on the 22nd to close out our lease. As you can imagine we were frustrated by the charge and Mike s lack of willingness to help long time customers sort this out. We also became frustrated with Mike because we felt he was not treating us fair. After numerous conversations with Mike and his leasing department on the 21st and even early morning on the 22nd, when I arrived back at the dealership later in the morning, Mike decided he didn t want to deal with us anymore and said he is transferring us to a different dealership. Mike became very unprofessional and uncivil, quickly, after refusing to serve us. He said he didn t like the way he was treated over the phone and is personally offended because we expressed anger and were confused about the charges. We felt he was being crooked and trying to get extra money out of us to help their bottom line. He refused to give me his business card and also refused to print out the estimate he created on the 21st that included the $1200 charge for the chipped windshield.
After being treated horribly by Mike and his leasing team, we took the car to Weatherford BMW where they squeezed us in last minute with no appointment and handled our lease return. Weatherford also said they will not need to replace the windshield as the chip is very small and not in the drivers field of view. Mike essentially lied to our faces repeatedly saying this $1200 charge for the chip is a standard BMW practice and we would experience it wherever we go. Truly, this was not the case.
Mike is a horrible customer service individual, has no clue how to deal with frustrated long time customers without taking the conversation personal and getting offended.
Being long time customers of BMW and that specific dealership in Mountain View, we were very offended that Mike refused to serve us when he was clearly trying to make a big deal out something that was a non issue at another dealer.

I always have the most difficult time reaching someone at this location. I end up trying all 4 options hoping to talk to someone, and I still get stuck in their endless loop, not even giving me a chance to leave voicemail. Parts department does take voicemail, but too bad they never return your calls.

Once I finally got to make an appointment (after calling them at three different times - an hour apart). I never got a call back or an email confirming this appointment, which I thought was weird. I just moved from SoCal, and BMW Beverly Hills was so good about this. I called them to confirm the appointment, but of course no one picked up the damn phone. I decided to just go to the appointment without confirming with them. Guess what? I ended up waiting for my guy for an hour. They just kept saying he was at lunch. Umm.. what about my lunch time? I guess my time wasn't that valuable to them.

Coming back to my point though - they either need to hire more people to answer calls or build a better online customer service system for email inquiries. It is understandable for you to make mistakes... I can call back to confirm, but how can I even do that if you don't take you calls?

I bet all those 5 star reviews are for walk-ins.

I went to have my wife's 2001 BMW 325 ci serviced for a recall notice that we received relating to the driver's side airbag. The signage at the dealership was terrible. It took me ten minutes to find the service department. The service person was great. He met me as I drove in was attentive, answered my questions and provided the car back to me in a timely manner. It turns out that my wife's car did not need the recall service at all. So this visit was a waste of time. They did however wash the car.

Mountain view bmw is the only place i will go to service my bmw! Easy to call and set an appointment even on a busy weekday morning. Stevens creek bmw doesnt even pick up their phone half the time... Mountain view bmw had plenty of loaner cars available! You dont have to book an appointment 3 weeks in advance like stevens creek bmw. Very easy to drop off my car. There wasnt a 30 min wait to drop off your car with an appointment... like stevens creek bmw. I would highly recommend mountain view bmw if you want a seamless customer centric experience!

I went BMW-MountainView after I was let down by another local dealership.. They accommodated me with the least effort possible, basically with one phone call! They scheduled me to bring my car within two days.. and it took only half a day to get the job done! I could not have been more pleased!

My wife Bridget and I could not be happier with our experience in buying a certified 2016 BMW gran coupe at BMW Mountain view.

Our sales advisor, Zari, was, in a word, terrific. She was friendly, informative, and low-pressure, but most important, she was extremely responsive, not only before the sale, but after as well. She was instrumental in getting repairs done to a few surface blemishes on the exterior repaired, first insisting that they be repainted (not just buffed out), then coordinating each step in getting the work done.

We strongly recommend Zari to anyone looking for a BMW. We also compliment the dealership on the others we encountered in the process, including Monsour in Finance, Eric in service, and Jason, who explained how the car works.

Rip off.

Rip off.

I needed to buy a parking light for my 328i. They have an H6W lamp for $18.10. You can buy the same part on the internet for under $4.

If they are going to mark up a light bulb more than 4x, imagine what they do for cars and service.

Bye bye BMW of Mountain View! I will find someone else to do business with.

I've never been to a dealership for service where they didn't offer a free shuttle service. I wasn't offered a loaner car or reimbursed for the fare to and from work. I will never come back to that dealership for service again. Poor customer service for a company branded as "luxury".
