I've known about BBTS for years now and continue to buy from them due to the outstanding customer service they provide and the scope of products they offer. Packaging for items shipped to your home is among the best I have ever seen. Products are packed neatly and in enough bubblewrap to ensure there is no damage whatsoever when they arrive to your home.
There have been one or two instances over the years where the Quality Control of a product I've received is unacceptable. This is in no way BBTS' fault since Quality Control falls on the manufacturer, but they will work quickly with you to ensure you are a satisfied customer. You should have no hesitation in ordering from BBTS. Among the best in the business!

Terrible service, worst shipping. 7 days and my order has not shipped, paid 18dlls for faster shipping and hasn't even processed. Called to see what's going on and "customer service" guy wants me to cancel my order instead of getting on it and trying to solve the situation.
Good communication *if you call during work hours* good pricing on items *action figures in terms of what I bought a lot of* good shipping, can take a little longer than usual but items come in great and with little to no damage on packaging. Issues reported to BBTS customer service get resolved quickly and kindly. Would recommend them to any collector!

I can honestly say that this company has the best customer service out of any company I've dealt with, both online and physically. While other high tier customer service departments decline with their growth (Amazon), this one continues to improve. You are treated like a person, a valued customer, and are always very aware that you're dealing with a person on the other end, whereas other companies make you question if it's even a person responding to you, or if they're going straight off of a script. The few times I've had to contact customer service to have something addressed they went above and beyond and were overly generous in resolving my issue without me ever asking or implying anything.
Beyond the customer service, they have a massive selection. They are the only resource I use now to shop for my collectibles (aside occasionally picking up a statue from Sideshow if it's an exclusive only able to be bought from their site. BigBadToyStore carries Sideshow statues and at a lower price.) They have all the things that I can only find in limited supply and variety in collectible stores here (NECA Alien / Predator figures).Their prices will almost always beat out anywhere else you look. I've never NOT been able to find what I'm looking for on their website. Not only that, but you can almost always select the grade of the item you order. They have a list of the grades, and what each would mean in terms of what you want to do with it (open box, display in box etc).
One of the greatest features they have is their "Pile of Loot" system. I'm probably going to butcher the details of it, but, the gist is that you can pre-order or order items and have them put into your "Pile of Loot" where they will be held for up to 90 days from your purchase. Before I found this out, I didn't shop on the website as frequently, since for me and the shipping I get (around $25 for the tier I pick) would usually cost as much or more than the item...Often times I'd try to wait for multiple things to be available, but something might sell out in pre-order. The Pile of Loot feature has let me bulk up my orders so I can pre-order and set things aside and wait until my pile is big enough to justify the shipping cost.
Unless something drastically changes in the way they run things, I can't see myself ever using another collectible store (online or physical) to get what I want (except Sideshow on occasion to get the exclusives for their statues). I'm not used to a company that's this popular, well stocked, and accommodating in their policies also giving such a kind and personal touch to their customers.
We've ordered multiple items from BBTS and everything arrived when it was supposed to. Great customer service. We always tell people to go here for all their action figures and other unique toys needs! Keep it up guys and gals.
Completely regret doing business with this company. Took 4 days to get shipped out and 8 more days to get to my house even though I paid an extra 4$ for fedex. It was bad enough a large amount of their selection is out of stock. It says it was coming from Wisconsin, I live in Illinois... I ve gotten neca figures from Texas and NY to my house in less than half that time.
So after this review they gave me store credit for the 8$ fed ex charge and apologized for the bad service, so I used it to put towards another order thinking things would go better and they didn t. It was an even worse experience. The whole process took even longer than the first time! I would not recommend this site to anyone and do not wish to be contacted again. It s coming from too close to me and feels like it s coming from Hong Kong because they just leave it sitting so long before they ship.
I was very happy with my purchase. Shipping was slow, but when I saw the care that they took when packaging I didn't mind. Everything was bagged, double boxed, and bubble wrapped. Arrived in perfect condition.

After reading a lot of reviews on BBTS I decided to try them for my self. I placed and order on Jan 29th, 2020. The very next day the order had already processed. That same day it shipped out. Now I am on track to get my package on the 2nd of February. I did not go with the flat rate $4 shipping cause the other option was only about $3 more. And this is shipping from Wi to TX. But so far everything has been great. I will update review when order gets here.
Box got here on 2-2-2020. Packing was in great condition. Box and figure where on spot. Box for figure was in great shape. No problems here at all. I am very happy with my order. They earned the 5 star review and I look forward to placing many more orders with them.
The best customer services experience! I spoke with Matt regarding an item (Sideshow Statue) that arrived broken. Not only were they empathetic but Matt moved quickly to resolve my issue. Pre Ordering is awful. They never seem to know when anything will come in, and after 2 months of waiting for an order, and then proactively having to ask them for updates, I was basically told "oh, we got it in but it wasn't enough to fill all preorders so now you're waiting even longer for an unknown length of time". No thanks, I'll just use your competitors. Amazing, after cancelling my 2 month old order with BBTS I received the item in less than 3 days...
As a toy collector they got decent pricing and huge selection. Their my go to store for buying toys. Also you can't beat that $4 flat rate shipping.

Disappointed my package did not arrive in time for christmas. I placed my order on November 21, 2018. My order was finally processed one week later on November 29, 2018. The shipping stated FedEx, however, in reality BBTS only ships to the border where the package handed off to canada post. At this point canada post had just ended a strike but it was well known that there would be a huge backlog for international orders. My package finally arrived on January 10, 2019. Package was well packed and there was no damage.
BigBadToyStore's customer service and product range is world class!! BBTS is easily the best online store for any toy shopping needs. I am based in Australia, and with their fantastic communication, dealing with BBTS is just like dealing with a local store. I usually opt for their "Collector Grade" upgrade for purchases, but when I have had some issues, it has always been professionally resolved, without hesitation!! Fantastic company with fantastic customer service. I emailed a question and received a response in a timely manner. Representative was incredibly helpful, informative, and professional. The store has sent nothing but quality products. I ordered a SH Monsterarts 2019 Godzilla at standard grade, but it came to me as if it was in mint condition. No damage to the box or figure. Every product I get from this store is in great condition and the prices are fair. I would give them 6 stars if I could.
Shipping is horrible!! It took 3 days for BBTS to finally process my order for shipping and provide me with a tracking number. They finally sent it and it took 10 days for FedEx to get it to me. A total of 13 days after I paid BBTS. If it's going to take that long they should offer free shipping and not charge for their laziness.
honestly I m just ready for a grimlock transformers toy away and it s Sunday and I have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday and I really don t mind but I m going to be bored but this company is honestly amazing
The figures that my SO pre-ordered for me were released on January 15. I finally got two out of the six on February 13 and apparently two more should be here this week or next. No idea about the last one - we keep having to check with them. Meanwhile, the figures are on the shelves at stores around town. Never again.

Shipped a product to me over 10 weeks ago, product never came. BBTS keeps blaming it on Canada Post strikes which started way after the product shipped and ended over a month ago. Won't issue refund, or store credit or any type of resolution. Thanks for literally taking my money and delivering absolutely nothing.
Update: they've now told me that I have to wait up to 6 more months for a refund on a product that at this point shipped almost 6 months ago and never arrived. Thanks for offering a refund....but wait nearly a year from when it shipped for us to give you a refund...maybe . LOL absolutely the worst online retail experience I have ever had.

I specifically ordered something that was a pre-order however little did I know that the item I want kept getting pushed months after months and the order never came in.
I learned I wasn't the only one who ordered said item and just like me they got pushed to another months, so I had to wait even longer than the people who were still wanting,
The big bad toy store is also extremely slow, like slower than Amazon and I got tired of calling and getting the same info on the item ( Will call you when we get more in stock) but I'm fine.
I wasn't apparently the only one the store had done that to as well, OTHER PEOPLE GOT TIRED OF WAITING AN ENTIRE YEAR FOR A THEIR ITEM, So I cancelled I'll just do my shopping on Amazon thanks.

I have been using bbts for over a decade now. I currently have around 50 items per ordered with them. The pile of loot feature is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. I believe one time in over a decade I had an item I ordered not actually in stock and the gave me store credit and fixed it fast. Also, a few years ago I had a PayPal issue and they contacted me and after I fixed it with PayPal they took care of their end very fast. I recommend bbts to people all the time and will continue to use them for years to come.

Dreadful store. Purchased an item from them to be shipped to Australia, paid an extra $40USD for express postage (bringing me to $350 AUD Total) and they didn't even have it leave their warehouse for two weeks. I still haven't received my item after purchasing it April 28th. Contacted them on three seperate occasions for a refund on the postage, after multiple "Please be patient" emails they refunded me the postage... As store credit. Bunch of crooks.

Great store with good prices and shipping. Recently pre-ordered a figure that arrived missing a piece due to manufacturer error. Their customer service was fantastic - they got back to me quickly and reached out to the manufacturer on my behalf. Instead of getting just the small missing part, they were able to get and replace the entire figure's leg just to ensure that everything was in perfect shape. Great service, friendly assistance, and swift resolution - couldn't have asked for anything better!
Great company. I buy all of my Transformers figures from them. Fast shipping, great customer service team, and they honored the manufacturing defects in a few of my figures. I only wish they had a loyalty program thought as ice spent over $10,000 with them and never received a discount on anything.

I cancel most orders as they can't fill them. Whenever I did receive an item, it was not packaged very well. Standard and collector grade items usually were not as advertised. Disappointing, considering the high prices. I'd recommend shopping elsewhere. Buyer beware.

I bought a couple of transformers toys from big bad toy. I was very satisfied. But my last purchase is a mess. I was sent an opened box Chromia with scotch tape everywhere to seal the box. Even my kids could confirm the box was opened. Sounds like a rip off.

Had an issue where I bought an item and it got lost somewhere on the way to Canada. Canada post could not launch a formal investigation without the consent of the shipper. BBTS was quick to help deal with the situation with excellent customer service, and got my package. Everybody wins :D

At this point all except for one lucky find at a local comic store BBTS has provided my entire cast of Masterpiece Transformers at a better price than any other American retailer. Also for those that do their homework the prices on this site are comparable to ordering directly from Japan.

I have been impressed with BBTS since I discovered them a few years back; they have been (mostly) efficient, easy to deal with, and I really like the $4 flat shipping and Pile of Loot feature. However, I recently noticed that when a certain collectible became hard to find, they jacked up the price by $30-40. Since then I ve been leaning toward buying more from another store I found recently with whose owner I ve been impressed. Integrity matters.
There are not bad, I have had an account with them for some years. Their inventory and packaging of shipments are impressive. However lately, I have received items with dents or damaged. My last order was a pre-order MP Soundwave, and Transformers RID case and both had dents on the packaging. The items were not damaged during shipment; they were ship damaged. I am hesitant to place future orders with them and have started considering other vendors. The dent devalued the price of the MP Soundwave, yet I paid full price.

When they send a defective figure they will say that it is minor and they will not take responsibility, it does not matter how bad it is. If there is a defective toy they should make a replacement (EVEN IF IT IS MINOR), in the first place there should be NOT defective toy, they ARE expensive, they don't cost $1 you know??? And this is supposed to be a serious company, oh but because I am not a YouTuber it doesn't matter, right? because I am not talking to 5K people to promote the them.
SO! when you buy a figure from this company expect anything, and if it is defective/damaged understand that they will NOT take responsibility at all and if you want to send it back keep in mind that you will have to pay for everything.
YES, think twice when buying from them. It is a shame you know, the figures are really cool but the company sucks.
BBTS is THE place to order for collectible toys. I started collecting Transformers when working for a similar company around 2001, and it wasn't long before I had a reason to start preordering my Hasbro and Takara figures from BBTS. Since 2007, I have ordered items almost monthly. I suspect I average at least $100/month, and probably closer to double that in the last couple years. I generally have my "pile of loot" shipped every three months or so, with perhaps an extra order around the holidays. That's probably a minimum of 50 shipments of at least $300 value each... and not a single issue.
In short, BBTS is an excellent business, especially for collectors of the 80's toy lines--Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars, and comic-inspired toys. While many of my orders are for Hasbro products that are theoretically available at a local store (Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, etc), I don't have to drive from store to store and hope to find what I'm looking for; I can preorder a toy and be 100% certain it will be available to be at a reasonable price, often before the toy even starts appearing in local stores. I can't say enough good things about the company. BBTS doesn't disappoint.
Needed these items to be autographed at a local convention. It tooks 16 days to get here. Their shipper played volleyball (back and forth within their multiple facilities) with it in my city for an entire week before they delivered it. I ordered over 20 items from various companies (most farther away than BBT from my address) and this was the ONLY ONE that did not make it. It was a slow mailing time and both Fed Ex facilities were within a few miles of the destination. It arrived 3 days after the Con.

When I preordered my first figure from BBTS I sent them an email trying to get a better ETA and they immediately got back to me and let me know how they work. After reading and understanding the situation I decided to wait for my item and it got pushed back..... Overall it was definitely worth the wait.
At the end of the day if you are not patient it will stress you out and maybe you shouldn't preorder items in general. Just know that with BBTS your item will arrive and well packaged! Also you are not charged until the item has shipped so there's no fear of losing money when you can just file a claim with your bank (as long as you have a decent bank)
My advice is to just be PATIENT and trust BBTS. I will definitely keep buying from them.

Puchased a Masterpiece Transformer and when I opened the box, the figure had something that looked like a stress mark on his head. Contacted BBTS, and Katie replied to help secure a replacement head for my figure. Good prices with great customer service.
