Big League Movers Review

The team of movers did a great job, they where on time and very careful with all of my belongings.

Stuff i had was really too heavy for them to move, but they did it anyway! Professional, courteous, careful with the items being moved, and very quick!

CORPORATE / BUSINESS MOVE - I DO NOT RECOMMEND using BLM for a corporate or business move. BLM missed our move window by four hours and blamed it on previously scheduled moves. We learned after the fact that BLM scheduled multiple emergency moves over top of the regularly scheduled moves on 6/7/19 instead of showing up on time for our corporate move. We have used Big League for three corporate moves. During the first move they damaged our conference room table. At first they denied it but we had pictures of the condition just prior to the move and after we showed the moving crew the pictures they admitted the table was dropped. BLM paid to have the table repaired. The second time we had a perfect move and everything went smoothly. The move that was performed today was terrible. They initially quoted us a flat rate of $1,250 to move furniture on our floor and some furniture in a small storage area. We advised BLM they charged us $139 per hour (3 man team) just three weeks ago and they agreed to charge us by the hour. They arrived long after the window of time promised for our move and initially only two movers showed up. We reserved a 4 person team. Instead of starting the move the two movers waited outside for over an hour until the other two crew members arrived. The management team is unresponsive and I would not trust them to timely perform a corporate move. Management was very evasive about why they were so late for our move but we overheard the crew discussing how many teams were pulled away from regularly scheduled jobs for emergency moves. I would not trust this company to perform services. The crew that finally arrived to perform the move was polite, respectful and efficient. I cannot express any opinion as to their ability to perform residential services.

Very pleased with the moving team who handled my move. Came early and did an excellent job of protecting all of the furniture, appliances and all other stuff. Would highly recommend!!!!

David and Carlos did a great job. Came early and were well equipped for the assembly of our new bed. Some parts were missing but they were able to communicate with their office to get the parts we needed on order.

Great office staff was very helpful with scheduling and planning. Moving crew was friendly helpful and worked very hard. They treated my stuff with care and respect and provided great timely service. This was my second move with Big League in the last three years and both were very positive experiences.

Big League was the moving company I was directed to for the shipment of my kitchen cabinets. When I didn't get any time window notification for the delivery time, I tried to call the company, repeatedly, but was sent to voicemail over and over (after having to sit through Eye of the Tiger on loop). When I tried a different tact and contacted sales, they told me that they had nothing to do with dispatch and couldn't help me. Miserable customer service experience.

Carl and the crew were absolutely amazing and professional. They arrived on time, were pleasant, and did not waster my time or money. This is my first time using Big League Movers and I will certainly use them again. I will certainly request the same crew I had today.

I had an out of state move planned and the movers I had hired were unresponsive with questions and proving to be very unprofessional. I was suggested to try Big League Movers so I gave them a call. They were able to get me on the schedule for the next day for an out of state 400 mile move with a very reasonable price. The guys showed up exactly when I was told they would and had all my items on the truck ready to go within two hours of arriving. All my items were transported safely and I was very pleased with the professionalism and care they took with all my belongings. I would highly recommend them to everyone and am so grateful they were recommended to me!

I have bought furniture from Ashley and they had Big League Movers deliver the items. When I got the first set of furniture, handlers have ruptured my door frame which I was very unhappy and when I questioned the delivery guys they just kept quite.

So, after seeing the reviews on google, I decided to send an e-mail to Big League Movers mentioned in reviews. A person contacted me within 24 hrs, apologized, and they made some one come to my house within a week and got taken care off.

So, based on responsiveness i decided to 5 star them.

P.S. I have a different group of Big League Movers deliver my second set of furniture and they listened to my concerns and delivered with care.

Beware of scams...

Sorry that the review below is long, but it was a long ordeal. We do not wish for anyone to go through what we did.

Our initial bid was for one truck, verified and re-verified with the guy. Since everyone else' bid was for two trucks which costed about $1500 more, and they had high ratings I accepted.

But, when the movers arrived, before walking into my home the lead mover already started calling his boss because he knew it was going to be a two truck move. They soon called me telling me it was going to be an extra 1500 dollars to get the second truck. I said no, that they screwed up and needed to make it right.

Well, a bit later someone in management calls me up and says they goofed and that the second truck was approved, but would be sent within the next month for free. So we began dividing up the non-essential stuff. The first lead mover then stated he had to leave to go to an office meeting, and another lead mover would be there shortly to take over. The new lead mover arrives saying that the second truck was approved for the move the next day for no extra cost. We and the other 2 movers that had been there all morning asked repeatedly if he was certain of this. He then began loading everything randomly onto both trucks.

We move the first truck down to the Atlanta area and it begins to be unloaded. We started asking when our second truck was going to be sent because we were missing everything for our baby (8 mo). The movers told us the other truck was not coming, would take up to a month to receive those items. Then after numerous phone calls, a manager said it would be a month because that was what we agreed to.

I told him no, that his "new" lead showed up and told us all that everything was going within a day of each other. The workers that made the trip agreed with me, but the manager didn't budge.

The manager later said we could have our stuff if we agreed to pay an additional $1,200. At this point we needed our baby items desperately, so we accepted. (Every single baby item was loaded on the 2nd truck) We were already having to spend money on essential items that was supposed to be shipped on those trucks.

When we did finally get our second truck there was only one mover with it. We were told that he was going to pick up an assistant mover in their Atlanta location prior to delivery at our home. The young man arrived saying that management called him, and that he would not be receiving assistance. There was no way this poor guy could move some of the furniture by himself. He agreed, and finally after several hours a local manager showed up to help him. It seemed Memphis management expected me to assist the mover with the heavy items.

We had already given away a bunch of stuff to guarantee that all of our things would have made it onto one truck. The second truck was half empty and I could have taken much needed items that I left behind that would have fit nicely into my new, larger home.

Throughout the entire process, management took several hours after repeated phone calls from us and our movers for clarity of the situations unfolding.

The last thing, my home was 2100 sqft and it took them 10 hours to move pre-packed boxes and furniture. Everything was waiting for them, all they had to do was put it into the truck.

Everything felt pre-planned to obtain our business from our other quotes by saying they could fit it onto one truck. It appears management purposely sent in the new lead mover midway through the loading process so that essential items would be dispersed onto the 2nd truck that they had no intentions of sending until we paid more money.

Lies, misconceptions, and management's avoidance of us for those 3 days.

The movers were excellent and extremely professional. They made my moving experience so much nicer. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone who needs a time efficient and cheerful helping hand.

Unprofessional and unorganized. Give off the demeanor that they care but in reality they just tell you what you want to hear for the time being. The Memphis location is horrible, not sure about Atlanta but I wouldn't recommend the one in Memphis at all

These guys called me 30 minutes before they arrived and got here on time. Very professional and gentleman. I will used them again when necessary.

I recently used Big League Movers for a pack-and-move across town. I received multiple estimates from moving companies in the area and Big League was competitively priced. I received an email, text, and phone call the day before services to go over last minute details, and the packing and moving teams both notified me of their ETA the days of service. I also received calls from the office while the crews were working to let them know of any issues or changes that may have occurred once work began. The crews themselves were very professional and worked efficiently to ensure the job was done to my quality standards and in a timely manner. The weather for the day of the move was terrible rained all day but the moving team took measures to ensure my things didn t get too wet. If I could give Big League Movers 6 stars, I would. I recommend this company to anyone looking to move stress-free.

Great professional u don't have to worry about them breaking your stuff!! Matter a fact they fixed a few things great workers great company. Oh yeah they were on time and no hidden fees.

This was a terrible experience. Sure the movers were polite and attentive...when you were looking. They managed to make three large scratches in our brand new hardwood floors (that we have noticed so far). One piece of our furniture was dropped off their moving truck from a height of about three feet which of course meant it was totally ruined, and they managed to chip a brick on the front steps of our house while moving the piano. Avoid this moving company if you even remotely care about your home or your belongings. There are too many other options in town and I can't imagine any of them could be any worse.

That was the venting portion of the review. This is generally what you can expect from the company:

You will request a moving quote and everyone will be friendly, helpful, and in constant contact. They were voted best movers in Memphis, and they are the "official mover of the Memphis Tigers." You think you are dealing with real professionals, right? Not really.

The business model seems to be spend on advertising (your friends and family can always flood the vote count for those "best of" polls) and front end sales people then when the actual work needs to be done, send an inexperienced staff that are part of a high-turnover pool of temporary workers.

Our in-laws are moving in with us and I suggested they use Big League moving because of the good reviews, great front end customer service, good rates, and quote transparency they provided. They booked their move and were ready to go until they saw what happened with our movers. My mother in-law reached out repeatedly to the person who provided her with an in-home quote to discuss her upcoming move. She wanted some reassurance that her experience would be better because she doubted she would be able to find another mover on such short notice. Two voicemails were left and there was no response. I now understand that no one cared because the sales professionals had done their job and it was time for the actual work to be handed off to the temp workers.

Well the red flags were the dropped piece of furniture, chipped brick, and dirty shoes on brand new carpet. The straw that broke the camel's back were the scratches we noticed on our brand new hardwood floors (two of these scratches border on being called gashes). Thankfully my mother-in-law was able to find another moving company on short notice and she is only out her $100 deposit. Too bad for Big League because she had a much larger move than us.

I know this all sounds scathing, so let me say that the movers themselves were very friendly and professional in their interactions. I truly believe they tried their best, but their best was not good enough. There was no oversight and no one to hold them to a standard of work befitting the task of handling someone else's home and belongings.

I will report back on my in-law's moving experience and let you know if the mover she hired provided a better experience. I also have pending claims with Big League regarding the damages discussed and I will provide an update on those as well.

Update 1: My mother-in-law used Prime Time Moving and had a much better experience. Our home was not damaged and they staffed the move with more capable men. Furthermore, the movers from Big League moved our piano into our new home but they were unable to get it into the room we requested claiming "it wouldn't fit down our hallway." The movers from Prime Time took one look at the piano and said, "No problem." They took a door off the hinge and voila!, the piano was moved down the hallway and into our bedroom.

Update 2: The piece of dropped furniture was self-reported as damaged by a mover and Big League never followed up to offer a credit. This is just another example of the lack of care your move will receive. Thankfully the piece was going in a "closet office" and didn't need to look nice. I am just happy to be rid of them so I never followed up after one outreach attempt. Truly a garbage company.

I did my part by being prepared and ready to move. They did their part by being prompt, careful, and methodical. Movers were friendly and asked all the right questions. And got everything moved, with zero casualties, right about at my estimated time. 10/10 Would use again.

My movers were professional, helpful, and friendly. From the moment I contacted Big League, they followed up promptly, showed a great organization structure, and were hellpful. My actual movers were wonderful. My lead mover was honest about what I needed versus didn't need and answered any questions I had. I trusted them and had full faith that they were taking care of my belongings. I highly recommend them!

This our third time using Big League Movers for a local move. The prep staff is amazing! I've been lucky enough to work with Brandon each time and Dominque was very responsive. The day of our move went very well, despite some light rain. Our moving team consisted of Tommie, Carlton and Kenneth worked really quickly and took great care with our possessions. There is no doubt that I would use Big League Movers again and I would definitely recommend them for any of their services.

I am so glad someone recommended Big League Movers to me!!! I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. I had Josh Rosenthal, Tevin Carter and Cameron Harper on my move and they worked non stop to get things moved and it was ALOT of stuff to move. There were never any complaints and my items were handled with care- I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Great experience overall. Timely and professional. The truck I rented was packed well and boxes held together for the most part. I wish I had these guys on the unloading side as well.

It is truly surprising that these people are in business. Hired two men and one truck. Took them 6 1/2 hrs because one person decided to sit in the truck the entire time and let the other do all the work. On top of this, they completely and utterly damaged my sofas, dressers, and scuffed up my new walls by dragging the furniture across the walls.

Furthermore, this poor excuse for a company mentioned they could only offer a 10% discount as means to amend the damage done. Again, hired for 2 men. Only 1 worked the entire time and the furniture was damaged. No refund and a disrespectful discount of 10%.

DO NOT DO IT. I promise you will regret hiring these people!

Big League Movers did an amazing job with our move. They were efficient, professional, and responsive to all of our needs. The office also calls in to check on the move and if anything else is needed. Would definitely recommend them!

Moving can be stressful under the best of times let alone during a pandemic. Although things didn t go as smoothly as planned during my recent move I appreciate the willingness on the part of Big League Movers to have a discussion with me that led to a reasonable and fair resolution to my issue. Extremely hard working! Easy to communicate and work with. I would recommend them to anyone that was moving. The only negative was that some of our newly refinished hardwood floors were scratched when they were putting in furniture.

I called Big League at 8:30 one morning and they were awesome with me from the get go. I was in a panic needed movers THAT day. Not only did they provide exactly the amount of trucks and guys that I needed they moved me in two hours!!!! They had plenty of opportunity to drag the hours out so they could charge me more but they hustled the ENTIRE time. They DID NOT stop unless they were talking about how to get the tree house apart and moved properly.

An absolutely horrendous company to work for and a piss poor company to have move your things. In case you were curious all the "movers" listed on their sites aren't actually all the people who come to your home or business. It's just the people who look the best on the internet. They've withheld checks from employees, they also have faced two law suits this year due to negligence on their end. I promise you that this is not the moving company you want to hire.

Arrived on time after calling ahead and offering to pick up a drink since they were stopping for themselves on the way. Moved everything in exactly two hours on a hot summer day with efficiency. Would definitely use again!

Big League hit it out of the park this time! Kyle and Wade were phenomenal. They were very careful with all our belongings, floors, and dogs! They were polite and cordial the entire time. It was extremely hot and they didn't get frustrated with large pieces, tight corners, or my continually growing list of things I needed moved or done. We only did half our move this time (we're keeping the old house staged), but will definitely use them for the remainder of our move once our old house has sold. I needed a bunch of old furniture moved to a storage unit. I called big League Movers and got a very competitive quote. The showed up on time and were very professional. It ended up being cheaper than the initial quote. I will definitely be using Big League in the future.

Needed help unloading a cube of elderly father's items when he gave up his Fl. apt. Upack arranged for Big League Movers to unload cube when it arrived in Germantown. 2 eager young men arrived from Big League on time to do the job. However, they could not move the couch/sofa bed into the bedroom. Said it was too big after trying 2 different doorways. Didn't have tools, said they didn't know how to remove the door. I did removed the door. Still couldn't get the couch in the room. I called another local company the next day and couch was moved appropriately. It was suggested that the movers sent by Big League were inexperienced summer help that did not understand "couch geometry." My call to Big League Movers about the situation was not returned.

I hired Big league movers to help unload our POD. The guys did an excellent job. Both were very professional and polite. We would definitely hire them again.

Best moving experience I have had. The guys were super friendly. They were on time. They packed my belongings as if they were theirs. They took great care of my belongings and made sure they were delivered to the final destination in great shape. I highly recommend this moving crew.

The movers arrived an hour late, but the team redeemed themselves. Things happen that are not always in the plan. George and his team were not only professional and courteous, but they also assisted in the arrangement and placement of furniture in the new house. My parents downsized due to their age and mobility, and they had oversized furniture moving into the new house. Not one time did you the movers complain.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I ve used big league for 2 moves with good results. I set up a third move with big league and there were nothing but issues. First I could not get anyone in the menphis office to take my call. I was directed to the Atlanta office for setup. Days before my move they contacted me saying the could not move a large urn they had moved during 2 other moves. When asked why they said because it was a personal item. It s a concrete urn that is in 2 pieces each weighing about 300 pounds each. It s not a personal item it s just a heavy item that one person I.e I cannot move myself. When asked what had changed Alicia said she could not tell me that information. They then cancelled my move. I had great experiences with big league previously and I m not sure what has changed. I asked if the company had been sold or under new Managment and Alicia said she couldn t discuss that. Clearly there is a change and I would stay very far away. This was a terrible experience. It s sad they they would lose a repeat customer who has recommended them to others. Very unprofessional.

We moved a 4br 4ba house 15 minutes down the street.
We were given an estimate for 3 trucks and a 5 man crew.
The estimate was for 8-9 hours, and approximately $3,000.
The move took 12 hours on one day to load, and unload one and a half trucks. They returned a second day and took 5 more hours to unload the remaining truck.
So the actual time it took for the move was 17 hours. Since they actually bill by the man-hour (for the most part), it ended up costing us $4,800. They missed their time estimate by over double and their cost estimate by over 50%.
The only consolation the regional manager could give me after the fact was 95% of their moves go smoothly. We unfortunately, were part of the 5% that do not.
I believe they low balled our estimate to get our business, and then NO ONE on our moving team had any responsibility to keep the team moving with any sense of urgency, or at a pace that met anything close to our time estimate.
All moving companies might have problems like this, but we will certainly try someone else next time.

These guys made this the smoothest easiest move I've ever dealt with. In 4 hours they had everything done and even stopped by my storage unit to pick up a washer and dryer. They were pleasant, courteous, and very productive. No lolligagging at all!! 100% will use again and recommend.

Good job for young guys looking for experience. Easy to get hired cause they have a high turnover. But doesnt pay enough at all. Better off working a warehouse....

They moved my father's stuff into storage . Nothing was probably packed . Furniture was literally thrown on top of boxes. We called them back out to fix it and were told they were not getting paid to rearrange it. I am unpacking and finding all kids of stuff broken. My father's pictures from the military family photos in frames etc. And in the mean time this happened the guys new my father is in the hospital being put on hospice.

Very inefficient process, took much longer than expected/anticipated. A lot of wasted time.

These movers were great! And I have had some bad experiences in the past so I was quite concerned. Everything was moved without a single ding or scratch. And they were even ready to go before their scheduled window, which was great. I will only be calling on Big League Movers for my future moving needs.

Imagine if you will, the Twilight Zone of all Moves! My sister was downsizing from a two story house to a much smaller condo. Needless to say she had 27 years of accumulated items, and she contacted another company who quoted her a price over the phone to move on Thursday, Nov. 3rd. That company came at 8:30 a.m. and worked until Midnight! Yes Midnight and was not finished. She called me frantic on Friday morning, desperate for help as the house was not empty and as per her contract with the new owners she had to be out of the house by 12:00 noon.

Enter Big League Movers ~ aka "The Calvary". I remembered a Living Social deal in my emails and I called them at 7:30 a.m. praying that they could help us out. Preston Burleson answered (the Owner by the way) and listened to our plight. He was not sure if he could get the personnel but he would call me back. Within 45 minutes, Preston had secured the driver, Nick Garces and his partner, Luke Hufton and called me back and said they would be there by 8:45 a.m. THE SAME DAY!
Prayers were being said and they were answered by this wonderful, professional company. Nick and Luke arrived and was so polite and professional (even around my sister who was still in panic mode) and assessed the situation, made suggestions on loading the remaining items and even made an additional trip to the newly secured storage unit by her condo. He even quoted us the regular price!
Words can't describe how we felt that someone went out of their way to assist a last minute emergency plea for help. Preston was so understanding and certainly went the extra mile. Nick and Luke were fantastic ~ working steadily and fast. We were fortunate that my sister got a time extension to turn over the house to the new owners which enabled all of us not to feel rushed.
I can keep going on and on about the attributes of this company, and I will absolutely recommend them to everyone! Big League Movers is a reputable, honest, fair priced and their personnel was very professional, super friendly and observant of our time frame. Big League Movers and Preston Burleson will have my endorsement for outstanding customer service and a wonderful company to deal with.

Everything was wrapped and placed on the truck neat and organized and most importantly everything arrived safe without a scratch. A+++ service. So happy we went with Big League Movers to help us condense two separate places into our new home. We have a lot of hand-me-down furniture from both sides of family that isn t worth much in value - other than sentimental...& TJ &TJ handled everything with respect. They were on time & took everything in stride. Even the woman that we booked the appointment with was super friendly, supportive, & helpful when we asked for a quote.
We knew it was asking for a lot to have movers come to 2 places to deliver to 1 address, so we appreciated the accommodation Big League Movers gave us. Again, the team of TJ & TJ were very nice, efficient, & handled everything with care - even returning a gold/diamond ring of mine that came loose in the truck during travel. Cannot recommend them enough, thank you for making this stressful time a little easier!

The loading guys spent almost an hour wrapping two bed frames in blankets, and didn't even load half the furniture into the truck and their two hours were over. I paid 300$ for nothing and my girlfriend and I ended up loading 90% of our stuff ourselves. Very polite, but very expensive and totally useless helpers. Save your money and do it yourself. By the way, these people were contracted to me by SML - Simply Moving Labor, which is honestly a scam.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! They call a couple of days prior to your move to just go over everything. They were on time !!! Not a minute late. Very polite and professional. They will treat your belongings as thou they were there on. Very affordable and they do not ride the clock. They were in and out. If you moving. Make sure you get them

The team that came and did our move was very good and I am glad we ended up hiring movers. They were referred to us by our realtor which gave us a 10% savings. Would use them again.

Customer service was excellent, but I do have a significant concern. I have used this moving service 4 times , with the same furniture. My my moved usely last 3.5 to 4 hours max for 2 bedroom apartment, one of the rooms were onlu used to store a couple of boxes and 1 headboard. My move this time lasted a little over 8 hrs. which left me with a huge bill, I guess they knocked it out of the park this time.

Big League movers were on time and made my move very easy. They had to empty my storage unit, drop and pick up items from one house and transfer the rest to my final destination. I have zero complaints. Very friendly and careful with all my belongings.

Don't bothering hiring this company because they are horrible.Two guys from this company packed my U-Pack trailer and didn't know what they were doing. They took 5 hours to throw things in a trailer and called it a day. One of the movers left his vitamin water in the trailer and it spilled all over a box destroying the contents inside. They broke three of the five dinning room chairs I have. I told them to use a mattress bag, which they carried the mattress out to the trailer in, but when they got to the trailer they removed the bag and put the mattress on the floor of the trailer. The mattress is now filthy and ripped. Finally, I provided moving blankets to protect my furniture, but they just packed those in the trailer with the blankets still in the bag. Don't hire this company because they are unprofessional and don't know what they are doing.

In my opinion, Big League Movers is the best moving company around! The crew is professional, courteous, and works together harmoniously and efficiently. Customer satisfaction is their #1 priority, and I'm recommending them to all of my family and friends.

The very professional and courteous company. They always answer their phones, follow up calls are prompt. Sales are customer service awesome. The movers care about your property. I had five men, all five wanted to make sure I was pleased. They were happy to be at work and happy to do work for me. I'm glad I got to know them for a day. You will be happy with them too.

The job was terrible. Never had the opportunity to work, even when I tried to work. That was often.

The two guys that came out to help with our move were very friendly and helpful. They moved us in no time flat and I would recommend them.

I used Big League Movers for my move out of my parent's house into an apartment. I just needed help moving big items (couch, bed, desk, table, etc.). I talked to Jody who gave me the estimate for the move and scheduled it. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He told me that I would be charged an hourly rate for the move. Between Jody's friendliness and the fact that I was charged an hourly rate, instead of being charged for moving out of my parent's 4,000+ sq ft house, it was a no brainer that I would use Big League.

My move was scheduled between 8 am - 10 am. I received a call from the moving captain at around 8 and they arrived by 8:30. In total, the move took 3.5 hours.

All my items were wrapped in multiple moving blankets and taped securely in order to ensure there would be no scratches and dings. It started pouring when the movers were halfway through moving my furniture into my new apartment so the fact that they made sure to protect everything meant nothing ended up wet. They de-assembled and re-assembled my queen-sized bed frame which was EXTREMELY appreciated. The movers were also extremely friendly and very efficient.

Once the move was over and we talked to the office for our final price they let us know that not all the materials they had estimated were used so they took off $130 from our total price. I appreciated how honest they were about this.

I would definitely recommend Big League Movers to anyone. They exceeded my expectations.

I would highly recommend Big League. I called several movers in which they all came out and did a survey of my house and what was to be moved. I chose Big League based on their quote and reviews. On the day of my move, I got a phone call from a guy introducing himself as Anthony with Big League and he said they would be at my house at 8:00 and he asked if that was okay. Sure enough at 8:00 they were at my door. It was four guys and they were all very polite and professional. I hadn t quite finish packing when they arrived and they all jumped in and helped me finish packing. I thought this would cost my quoted price to go up but it didn t. I paid the exact price that was quoted me when they came out to do the survey. I was very pleased with the service, the movers and the professionalism provided by the staff. I would most definitely use Big League again.

Awful experience. When I moved the same things (2 bedroom apartment, only 1 person living there) from Nashville to Memphis, the whole move took 6 hours including drive time (which is 3 hours). Imagine my surprise when moving 10 minutes down the road in Memphis takes 5 hours.
The movers were wholly ineffective. I packed everything neatly and had left access to the bigger items so they could be loaded first. When the movers began moving the boxes, only 1 person would move at a time. The other mover was down at the truck. The man moving the boxes took only 1 at a time--no dolly or anything.
When my mother went down to load items into HER car, she noticed the 2nd man talking to a girl in the parking lot. He continued to talk to this girl for about 10 minutes instead of moving anything, and then tried to act like they were related even though they'd clearly never met before.

1. Broke wheels off an empty filing cabinet. Said 1 wheel was in truck--haven't seen it since. A 3-wheeled filing cabinet is not very sturdy.
2. Late! Were told that they would call 15-30 minutes before scheduled arrival. No call. Showed up 15 minutes late.
3. One mover flirted with a girl in the parking lot even though there were boxes to be moved.
4. Office rep was not very kind and only apologized for the tardiness.
5. Movers were slow moving with no sense of urgency. In the past 3 moves I've had, movers were walking quickly, moving box to truck and then hustled back to the apartment to get another box. There was absolutely no hustle with these men. They milked the time.
6. When unloading, the men were so slow we just had them put all the boxes into one room (even though they were clearly marked) in an effort to save time.
7. A few wood tables and chairs were scratched in the move.
8. Men seemed to have no experience in taking apart the bed, which cost extra time. The men didn't even have power tools to take apart/rejoin the furniture. We offered ours, and they used ours.
9. Because of their slow speed, we opted to put a table back together on our own.

Movers should move quickly and efficiently. This was a horrible experience. I believe the men you get determine the quality of the move--these two men were just not good: not fast, not cooperative with each other, not smart (1 box at a time, no dolly).

A 2 bedroom apartment move should not take 5 hours. Both men SHOULD be working--not talking to girls in the parking lot, and not supervising where boxes go in the truck. Why am I paying 2 men to move when just 1 works? When I called the office, they made excuses and actually made up a story about something that did not happen. I will NEVER use BLM again, and I will make sure none of my friends do. The whole thing was a giant rip off. For the record, our 2 movers were L Less (who actually tried to move things) and R Shaw (who talked to the girl in the parking lot and didn't move much at all). Neither man's profile is on the website. Beware!

We received excellent service from Big League Movers during our recent move. They were on time, quick, friendly, and professional. I honestly have no idea how they did it all. They worked from 7:45am until 8pm, nonstop except for 2 brief breaks (during which they were not paid.) These guys are machines. All of our items arrived in the condition they were when we packed them. They have great customer service and were worth every penny. I hope we don't have to move again any time soon, but if we do, we'll be contacting BLM again.

Zbo and Demarcus were fabulous! They took great care of the furniture my late parents gifted to me. I will definitely use Big League Movers if I have any need for other moving services. They are definitely a five star company!

Big League handled my out-of-state move seamlessly! During the initial quote stage, they did an in-person walk through, provide a quote within just a few hours, and promptly answered any questions I had. Leading up to the move, they continued to be responsive and accommodating. The day of packing, the crew arrived on time and were super efficient! Hope I got my packers names right, Daniel, Tommy, and Denzel were top notch! The next day was scheduled load day, again on time, super friend, and worked efficiently. They were also super careful with my items and ensured they were wrapped and well cared for. Two of the three from the initial load team were also the ones who met me in my new home, Marcus and Jaylen (hope I remembered that name right). Again super helpful, prompt, and efficient! Overall I could not be more pleased with my move, from end to end it was a job well done! Thanks to Dominique, Gavin, and Jeff along the way!
