Tracy J. and Ray B. provided good service on a furnace installation. They were prompt and professional.

Installed new heat pump unit last week. Dustin H and Cody L were very helpful and explained everything to my satisfaction. State eletrical inspector came by today for his inspection and said the work of the subcontractor was done very well and the system that was installed is an extremely good system. Will use them again without a doubt.

I have never felt so ripped off in my life. Back in Octoberi had them out to do a check on my condo. I was looking to optimize it as well with a smart home thermostat. Looking at what they charged me after the fact based on market value they should be ashamed. A manager called to try and ask how things went, I requested him to call me back as I was in a meeting, never happened. Be careful, unless you like getting ripped off!

Richard Saxton from BelRed Plumbing came for water heater upgrades and other plumbing services. He was right on time, worked quickly and cleanly and was very informative. Will ask for him on future plumbing issues.

BelRed is awesome. My 1960's home was outfitted exclusively with electric baseboard heaters that ran a $500/month electrical bill in the winter. Without ducting in our home, and a too-small crawlspace, a ductless mini-split system was our only good option. We got quotes from a few other HVAC contractors in the area, but none of them could provide exactly what we needed (a head unit in every room). Joe M. came by and gave us a reasonable quote, but best of all it covered all of our needs and far exceeded the best options from other contractors. Joe even provided some "custom" options that improved the install location of the mini-split "head units" in each room so they're less noticeable. Other companies wanted to mount them on/near exterior walls where they'd look awkward. Joe made it clear that my family's needs were the priority.

The installation crew was very friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and worked very quickly. Jose S. found a way to further improve the install by reducing the number of condensation pumps we needed. Steven B., Cody M., Brett and Delan were all very friendly, answered any questions I had and kept me informed along the way.

In 2.5 days this crew completed the installation of a 5-unit mini-split heat pump system, and our home has been MUCH more comfortable since. I'm excited to see the energy savings over this coming winter.

Jose and his crew Ray B and Cody M showed up on time to replace a broken furnace. The work was done efficiently with little disturbance and noise. My questions were answered politely and thoroughly. The cleanup left the space and my garage, used to stage the equipment, cleaner than when they came. My impression based on close observation is that this was a first class job. Well done.

We had our annual plumbing inspection with Richard Saxton. He explained every issue he found with recommendations on prioritizing the most critical repairs, since we are retired and on a fixed income. There was one must fix safety issue (water heater valve) for which he had to order the part. But he was back in two days and completed the repair.

Richard is the best plumber we have ever had in our home. We first met him when BelRed had to send someone out to fix another plumber's poor workmanship. Richard is friendly, knowledgeable and does high quality work. He is also very helpful with regard to answering any questions we have.

Steven B. and Hoa T. were professional and complete the furnace installation quicker than estimate. They kept the work site clean after they were done and patient in answering any question we have. Thank you Steven and Hoa.

Brandon A. and Micheal S. installed our new furnace this morning! They arrived on time (before dawn) and were quick and efficient. They were polite and cleaned up afterwards, leaving the space better than they found it. I was very happy with their professionalism and would highly recommend them, and their company Bel-Red Energy Solutions. Even the sales person who initially set up the install, Sam (who's last initial I forget), was easy to talk to and trustworthy. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Belred came to my house to install an AC system and for the most part everything was excellent. Nick E., Kyle H. and Dustin H were the team that did the installation and they kept me informed the entire time and asked if I had any questions. They are hardworking guys and I could tell they really knew what they were doing and cared about their work product. So those guys were great. The one minor hiccup was that when I entered into a contract with David S., the sales consultant who came to my house to give me a quote on the AC, we scheduled the installation for Wednesday. David initially indicated they could install the system on Tuesday but I asked David if it could be installed Wednesday since I work from home on Wednesdays. Long story short, Belred failed to tell me until the AC had been installed and the team was packing up to leave that the AC itself would not be activated until the next day. This didn't stop them from asking that I pay the remainder of the balance though. This was a surprise to me as I was never told by David or anyone else from Belred that this might be a two phase process. I emailed David to ask about this and his response was that "I was hoping to have the start up the same day if possible." No big deal, but David never told me that it was possible the startup might not occur the same day as the installation and David knew that I wanted the system to be installed on Wednesday since that is when I would be working from home. If I had been given an advance heads up I would have completely understood, but the fact that I wasn't told until the crew was leaving felt a little underhanded. The good news it that the AC was activated the next day and has been working great. So it is pretty much a case of no harm, no foul. But that miscommunication (if that is what it really was) left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth and that is the difference between a 4 star and 5 star review. I would definitely recommend BelRed, but my advice is to make sure they are upfront with you as to when your installation will occur and be finished.

We bought a new oven from a big box store and didn't realize that it didn't fit over our old gas connector. We needed a gas plumber to come out at the last minute and move our gas pipe a foot or so. Richard, from BelRed Energy Solutions, was there the same day, did an amazing job, and had us up and running in no time. I'm so thankful!!! Strongly recommend!!

Steve B and Kyle H installed central A/C at my place today. They were professional, friendly, helpful and did a fantastic job. They went out of their way to engage me to ask questions and get feedback on different options/issues that arose during the install. Christmas week is never a great time to need service, so I was surprised that diagnosing and replacing a gas hot water heater could be done so smoothly in one day. I wasn't even in a hurry, but BelRed prioritizes jobs where there's no hot water. They got here within 2 hours of my call, and did a much better install than what they replaced. I wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Richard who did all the work, and same to all the staff at BelRed. A very stress-free and pleasant experience.overall.

I ve been a Bel Red customer for about 20 years. That says a lot in itself. They just replaced a water heater that had developed a leak. After the leak was noticed (drip tray was full) they came out the next day and quickly found the problem and gave me the bad news. They ordered a replacement and Jeff and John of Bel Red installed the new one within a week. My water heater is in the basement, so work is done inside. They were friendly, careful to watch out for a pair of supervisors (indoor cats) that wanted to be annoyingly underfoot, and they left no trace of their work. Great job all around.

We have been using Bel Red Energy Solutions since 2002 and have been very pleased with their service. They recently installed a new Trane furnace for us to replace our old one. The installer, Dustin H. and his assistant, Brett M. even arrived 30 minutes early to begin work and completed the installation in about 5 hours. They thoroughly tested the operation of the unit. Throughout the whole process, Bel Red coordinated closely with us to ensure that the work was completed to a very high standard.

Recent service completed, review status should be marked with high scores. They were able to replace a bad furnace almost over night and I could not be more great full! They were super flexible with our schedules, and bent over backwards to help us. I can t say enough about the high level of service they provided. Bel-Red installed my last furnace and water heater 9 years ago. Since then they have done annual maintenance to keep them running strong. Recently we moved into a rental house and after 4 months noticed inconsistent hot water coming from the 11 year old heater. Richard came out to due a cleaning and adjustment. After a through inspection he suggested a new tank. He explained his reasons in detail and provided me with options. The landlord agreed to a new tank based on my high praise for Bel-Red. Richard replaced the tank in less then two hours, upgraded the install to current standards, and corrected a few items that were wrong with the previous install. Richard was knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. While chatting with him about tanks I decided to have him come to my previous house (that is undergoing a large rebuild) to advise me on the possibility of installing a tank-less system there. Richard was a pleasure to work with and I will request him for my estimate when ready. I would recommend Bel-Red to anyone needing furnace or water heater work.

Called them to get someone to replace the hot water heater. Game them exact specs of what needs to be replaced. They won t give pricing for very specific service and product instead keep insisting on sending someone with a $105 charge to provide a quote. All I needed was a quote for replacing a hot water heater with the given specs. Absolutely horrible people to deal with over the phone!! All they needed to get the business was to say it costs $$ unless there is additional plumbing that s needed.

I am so pleased with the service and product from BelRed! My home has not had a functioning central heating system since I moved in 11 years ago. JOSE S. and DALONE S. are the best! Professional, kind, great sense of humor!, explained things so well. The BelRed electrician team that worked with them was on point! Jose S and Dalone S took the old furnace away with them and the area was left so clean. And the furnace looks and works GREAT! Early this week we had BelRed's technicians Dalton Hess, Plumber and Chad Croote, Senior Service Technician in our home to perform annual recurrent preventative maintenance as we have for a number of years. We have been very satisfied with this arrangement as it has proactively uncovered problems before they became problems and led to solutions before we were inconvenienced. Both Dalton and Chad were respectful of our home and thoroughly professional, delightful to work with. I am a retired master electrician and have made my living working with skilled people, I know skilled people when I see them and talk with them. These are the real thing. They will be welcomed back.

I had Bel Red come out to service my furnace. It had not been serviced since we purchased the home 5 years previous. They gave me a list of all the things needing to be done and I had them do the couple of things I needed to get right away. They were there when the said they would be there. They have a hidden estimation fee of $115.82 regardless of your decision on whether you take their service or not.

We had 3 sets of washlet toilet kit to install. We bought them through Home Depot, so, all we needed was an installation. We found BelRed Energy Solutions on google with 4.8 stars and good reviews. I called in and asked an estimation, but, their phone operator told me they cannot give an estimation through the phone, but, they do only on-site estimation. So, I booked an appointment for the estimation. They didn t inform me about the fee, $115.82 at that moment.

On the appointment day, a plumber guy came and gave me an estimation. It took about 15 mins. It was $1081 per toilet set, so, $3,243.61 in total. It was a lot more than we expected. I told the plumber guy that I ll talk to my husband and get back to him. He said it s fine, but, I owe him $115.82 of the estimation fee that he has to collect from me on that day. I told him I wasn t informed, but, he told me he just works there and I have to talk to the office if I have any problem with paying the fee. He said he cannot leave without collecting the money from me, so, I gave up and paid.
I don t know if they just forgot to tell me about the estimation fee of $115, or it was intentional, but either way, I felt it s NOT fair and honest. I was very disappointed in how they treated us.

We looked for another plumbing company and ended up paying only around $400 per toilet set. The plumber of the company was very honest and skilled, and we are happy we didn t choose BelRed Energy Solutions.
Maybe, BelRed Energy Solutions plumbers are also skilled, but, it was very hard for us to trust them after being treated in such a manner. Also, I felt $1081 per toilet installation was a little too much.

Also, the BelRed Energy Solutions plumber left one of our half broken toilet s lid open and it caused leaving a very bad smell in the whole house, whereas the other plumber we used left everything exact the same way it originally was. I appreciate people who respect other people s house and have a manner of leaving as the default setting even when they visited for their business.

I realized the google s reviews are probably manipulated by the google ad since it s only 2 stars with a lot of bad reviews on Yulp... I left the same review on google yesterday, but, it s not reflected somehow on google s review/rating. I ll try again just in case.

I decided to write this review because I didn t want other people feel in the same way as I did.

I have used Bel Red Energy Solutions for over 13 years. They have excellent service and products. I purchased a new furnace several years ago and their installation was superior. I highly recommend them for service and repair and new furnaces.

After a whole house plumbing inspection, Richard S suggested we consider an earthquake emergency shutoff on our gas line. We had been thinking about doing this anyway, so had him come back a few days later to install. Richard was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Would highly recommend!

Steve is the MAN! I was in a blind panic at the thought of having to deal with another set of busted pipes and water damage from an upper units bathtub but Steve's calm and experienced demeanor nipped that panic in the bud. An hour later there is a new silicone seal on the drain, a number in my hand for a tub repair company to fix the cracks, and the water damage is feeling far less apocalyptic than it did at 2 in the morning. Kudos to BelRed and Steve for sure!

Another stellar job by Belred Energy Solutions! Richard S. and John D. replaced my 1959 house water pipes seamlessly and expertly. I m extremely impressed by Richard and John s ability for outstanding customer service, work abilities, hustle, attention to details, and thoroughness. The job took two days, Richard and John showed up on time and left a super clean jobsite. As with many these days, I was working from home during the replacement, the way Richard expertly managed, organized, and handled the job, there was very little impact to me during the replacement. Richard is an expert in plumbing and I trust him.

In April 2020, Belred crews replaced my 35 year old furnace with a heat pump system and also replaced my water heater with a tankless water heater. It was Richard that installed my tankless water heater. It is because of my previous outstanding experience with Belred as a whole and Richard, that I went directly back to Richard for my water pipe replacement work.

I would absolutely recommend Richard and John and Belred. No more brown water thank you Richard and John!!

My experience with Belred Energy Solutions was outstanding from beginning to end. David S, Comfort Consultant, was professional, knowledgeable and personable. David provided options and estimates for the best heating system based on my needs. Scheduling of the install happened fast, which I appreciated. I was very impressed with Jose and Michael s installation of the heat pump system two days of work with Jose and Michael staying late to make sure I had heat that night and completion of the job the next day. The installation went smoothly and the attention to all the details by both was exceptional. The job site was kept super clean. Russ H, did the final touches on the final system set up after the install. As with the whole Belred team, Russ also provided great service. Shout out to Denise for working so closely with me on the invoicing via my PSCCU loan.

I also replaced my water heater with an estimate and install handled by Richard S. My water heater was located behind the furnace and Belred was able to schedule both the water heater replacement and furnace (two separate divisions within Belred) on the same day. Both crews worked efficiently and expertly to install the heat pump system and tankless water heater The install had it s challenges and solutions were developed, implemented and the install stayed on schedule. Belred was up to the challenge. I m extremely happy with the whole Belred crew and my entire experience with Belred Energy Solutions. I will look to Belred to meet my heating/cooling and plumbing needs.

BelRed has maintained our furnace for the past 10 years, and at 19 years a board failed and the exchanger had a crack so time to replace. They gave me a good price on a new one, Fernando/Nick/Dustin had to do some fancy install work to accommodate the A/C chiller on top, and did a workman-like job installing and cleaning up. I'm very satisfied.

Dustin and Stephen have exceptional talent! The AC was installed in one day. Dustin took time to test and to demonstrate the AC even though it was 5PM. We are very thankful for our new Trane AC installation.

Fernando, Cody, Michael, and Russ were all very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful.

The service from the BelRed team installing our heat pump was excellent. Ray B. and Cody M. came first thing Friday morning and the job took longer than expected, keeping them here until nearly 8 pm. They didn't complain and they didn't rush out - still took their time to walk us through the job and make sure we were all set.

BelRed requires the customer to get City of Seattle permits before they will even give you an estimate.
