Great rooms you are able to ski right out to one of the best mountains in the area.
Great rooms you are able to ski right out to one of the best mountains in the area.
Love this place. There is a pizza place you can walk to with reasonable prices on slices. This hotel is in a great location
the location -- hot tubs were very crowded/ poor service in the Base Nine Bar. -- no -- no -- expensive for the room size/accomodations
I requested assistance to fix the light in the kitchen area as it was not working and made the kitchen non-useable once the sun went down. I was told someone would be right up - that person never came the entire time I stayed.
A great place to stay, friendly, helpful staff and a fantastic location from which to ski. - Had to walk a maximum of 50 steps from our room (inside the hotel) until we could be skiing and the same reverse journey at the end of the day.
Room was hot and no way to open window and get cooler. Parking was a hassle and not explained well at desk Nor shuttles.
My go-to place for ski in/out in Colorado! Love this place.
We have been several times and always stay in either Building 3 or 4. It's like a small town all under one roof and it's ski-in, ski out right at the Beaver Run Superchair to Peak 9. Two really nice pools, one indoor-outdoor, and amazing jacuzzis. The condos we stay in are very nice and have been updated each time we stayed. Because they are individually owned each one has fun personal touches but the amenities are hotel standard.
Resort was ok. We booked a king size room with a spa and when we got there they didn't have one so they said they upgraded us to a queen with nicer accessories which was not. Overall a great area to stay in
As nice of a resort as I have ever been to. The staff is nice, the room is beautiful, the view us great. I would.go there on my own.
the conference center -- my room was really small. But it had a nice view -- The gentleman that checked me in -- Nothing I can think of
I was here for a conference. Staff is responsive to requests. Rooms are for the most part nice. The rooms are owned and then rented out when not in use. I stayed in building four. I had a kitchenette and living room with a gold out sleeper. I have stayed here several times before.
Old school ski lodge. Great place for a ski vacay. Not the best food on-site but the town has plenty of options.
This is an edited review since the management fixed what has started as a bad experience. The management cares for the customers and we loved the new room ,4 stars just because if the parking spaces
Scenery, location, hot tubs...a little dated but the rooms are cool. Flat screen on the wall. Large bath tub. Arcade & pool table next to the pool. Id come back.
I was extremely disappointed of my pet friendly room. It was not cleaned properly, the fridge was dirty and had something stuck to it, so I used my cooler instead. Carpet smelled, kitchen sink was dirty, lamps were dusty. The bathroom smelled like urine. TV bedroom was not working had to call an engineer which was very nice. Staff was also friendly. Overall the room was disgusting and i had to clean it myself and checked out early.
Amazing staff. Need more maps to figure out where you are and where you are going. Condo was nice but in need of some updating
Great facility with amazing access to slopes. T.V. and WiFi were awesome!
There are rooms from 160 dollars a night. It has a restaurant, gym, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Kids club And it's ski in ski out
The Shuttle Service Good -- The Food Service team Very Poor-- place needs real updating -- for the difference I could had stayed at a other places -- Not worth the cost, at 99.00 a night maybe, but you Food service was very poor at any cost!
It is a great resort. Everything is close and easy accessible.
Hotel worked very well for ski trip weekend. Hotel let us check in when the room way ready (early) and let us check later than usual (so we could enjoy the sun and hottub amenities. Room was very clean, gorgeous, and big. Perfect for skiing.
This review is a bit overdue, but my husband and I stayed at Beaver Run for a week this past August for our destination wedding at the recommendation of our wedding planner. 30 guests came with us and it was the perfect set up to be together but not constantly! We used the shuttle to go downtown quite often and it was usually a good experience (there was one night that it took about 45 min for someone to pick us up but otherwise it was great). My in laws hosted a groom's dinner for us in one of the banquet rooms and the staff handling that was beyond excellent! All the staff we encountered during our stay was awesome.
The only (very minor) complaint I had was that even though it was cool outside (60s-low 70s during the day) our 3rd floor room (building 4) was always pretty warm even with the fan going constantly. It wasn't necessarily uncomfortable, but I like a chilly room to sleep in and we never accomplished that. Next time I'd maybe ask for a 1st floor room and see if that helps. I'm planning to be back for many anniversary trips in the future.
We stayed at Beaver run the last weekend in October. The resort was clean, the staff was nice and the food / bar options on property were better than we thought.
The kids loved the pool and the game room. My kids want to know when we "get to go back".
I'd stay here again and we are looking forward to our next trip.
We usually have a good stay, room was not clean refrigerator is not working properly.
It was a beautiful place but I was at a conference over the past weekend and several people got lost. It was hard to navigate around the complex. Eventually I was told by staff the the signs on the walls were not correct because of construction. Some of the staff either didn't know how to get to a certain place or didn't give the right directions. It would have been nice if there had been paper directions on the signs of the walls.
Other than that the staff was pretty helpful.
We were there on our honeymoon and everything was carefree, easy, and simple. Just what you want for a honeymoon. -- Some construction noise. But we were moved/upgraded as soon as the staff was told. Thanks again for that. -- Mark from the front desk and Steve from the Courtesy Shuttle
Great for the whole family, enough activities for all
Enjoyed our stay for my birthday weekend. Staff was friendly and showed a sense of urgency when we needed something. The highlight of our stay was the impeccable service we received from the spa. Spa Director, Amber and Massage Therapist, Ryan, were absolutely amazing!!!
The resort is in a great location of Breckenridge and has a lot to offer. -- Some of the rooms are outdated though.
excellent ski-in ski-out accomodations, attentive staff. Good meals, door try out Spencers Buffet and soup & salad bar
Excellent stay at Beaver Run, awesome location, friendly staff, tons of amenities on site there's just not enough gooooood things to say about this place. Room was perfect, beds were comfy. The only complaint I guess I have waa price of ski school... but then again I haven't ever skied so unsure if 1k bucks for a family of 4 is the going rate or not. Otherwise fantastic stay.... can't wait to return.
Beautiful views, great room and relaxing. Will definitely visit again!
I love this resort. We had family from out of state and it was a no brainier for us to come up. you make it so easy! the best is the shuttle service- GAME CHANGER for my family! thank you!!! -- na -- a housekeeper from Poland, a older lady- we stayed in Building 4 and she was so helpful- we needed extra blankets and she happily got them for us. Austin(?) from reservations was great as well. -- looking forward to the putt putt being fixed. We have kids and any and all kid amenities makes my life easier.
Great Resort! Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff and the views from the rooms are truly astonishing! Will definitely be coming here again.
I guess they just let their employees smoke in non smoking areas on site
Great good, rooms were comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
Event was outside and very well organized. We visit Beaver Run Resort every year (Mid August)
Good service. Clean rooms. Great access to peak 9.
Very upscale apartment hotel. Spacious rooms, kitchen, living room, gigantic bathroom and terrace. Ideally located on the heights of Breckenridge and 700 meters from the city center. One of the best aparthotels I have ever done. For cyclists, you can have your bike in the apartment.
So far so good. I'm actually really enjoying myself. I usually go to Beaver Creek or Vail, vut I think I have found a new home..
Location -- was charged for one day I wasn't there due to airlines
After waiting in the cold for 40 minutes for the shuttle , finally gave up and walked back to the hotel in 15 minutes. We had called multiple time they said it was on the way. Room was out dated but clean. Had to ask for sheets for pull out and was told they were in closet when they were not, when I finally got sheets it was two flat sheets. Restaurant charged 21% tip for large parties and a 5% resort fee. The service was good one time and slow the next.
Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is one of my favorite places in Breck. The conference and catering staff takes great care of large events and the hotel has lots of hot tubs. The spa is phenomenal--try the pod treatment. The layout can be a bit confusing at first, and the uncovered parking is now a city pay lot (most hotel guests park in the garage). Take the complimentary shuttle downtown for a night on the town, or stay in and dine at Spencer's. If you have a few people in your party, I highly recommend a suite and most rooms have balconies with great views. You can purchase a unit too for less than $1000/mo. Thanks, Beaver Run!
Elevators not working. Good service from food staff.
Convenience to amenities and shops -- Overall stay was nice but room temperature was too hot, AC thermostat was not working and had to open window. Coffee machine didn't work. -- Front desk was kind and helpful -- Thermostat was broken, room temperature was too hot and uncomfortable, coffee machine was clogged and unusable.
Many food venues closed early leaving only bar type or deli type of choices to eat.
All in one place. -- tough to find my way around. Need better maps and some orientation.
A very large multi building resort. Lots of dining areas. Looks like ski in/out in the winter. Walking distance to the town, but a shuttle is available. Parking is extra during ski season...but it was covered.
Beaver Run is a perfectly located, ski in, ski out resort. It is slightly dated but very comfortable and has every amenity imaginable.
Room was ok hotel is a little out dated my room key didnt work 2 days in a row, but overall no major complaints.
More SPA services - Nails, Foot/Leg Rap, and additional room for services
Ski-in, ski-out for Breckenridge. Great location, nice accommodations. Fantastic staff.
Heater wasn't working. And back door was broke letting cold sit in. But overall the place is great. Lots of activities. And go right outside to get on the ski lifts.
The Room service. -- The location is great, but the cleaning service is unacceptable. Daily and basic cleaning service was a struggle to obtain, I had to call the front desk a few times to request clean towels. -- Paying a high rate and the lack of cleaning services was not the priority of this resort.
The elevator directional light was out. -- All staff were very courteous.
Great recent update to the faculty. Full service bar upstairs has good bloody marys and friendly staff.
I attended the SearchCon convention at Beaver Run and decided to bring the whole family for a few days at the resort.
Overall, the place has some great views and good ambiance but don't let all the shiny glitter fool you. There are issues that should be addressed.
1) The arcade machine prices are misleadingly labeled, the games didn't payout tickets. And while these seem like slight issues I view it as being ripped off. And when I complained about this I was told it's ran by a 3rd party and there's even a sign that says the resort isn't responsible for issues with the arcade machines.
Nice way to try to pass the blame there Beaver Creek but those machines are on your property and they do ripoff your guests. And you have to know about it because there's a sign posted about the issue. So by allowing them to remain on your property you are tacitly condoning your guests getting ripped off
2) There's no cooling in the rooms. We called maintenance because it's too hot in our room. But there's no way to cool the room off. Even the maintenance tech advised us to open the balcony door to cool off the room. Well and good but we have a 1 year old and a 3 year old with us. What if they get out on the 4th floor balcony, doesn't seem the safest.
Any place ski In and out is gonna cost more. Has motel rooms to executive penthouse. The food is very pricey so condo for 6 best deal for my group. Even in town a hamburger is fifteen dollars.
Great rooms. Great maze/parking garage. It's always a highlight for our family to visit Beaver Run.
People's 40 year old gross condos no thank you for and five and six hundred and night Crazy Town
Great stay at the hotel. Only complaint is the beds are really soft.
The suites are incredible. The other rooms are very small but well maintained. Helpful staff.
Very impressed with the service and amenities of this resort, I was there to perform a show nearby and they treated me great!
Conference rooms are very nice, clean, tempature was right on not to cold or hot.
Super! Fun runs and a great restaurant & bar to warm up. Lifts are good and staff is great.
The staff at Beaver Run are so pleasant and fun to talk to. Food is great and the outdoor fire pit is blast.
Great location. They definitely care about the facility even though it s a little older. We had an issue come with our room and Mark, front desk manager, took care of things. We left happy.
Housekeeping was terrible, elevators unreliable -- See comment above
Everything was excellent. Top shelf experience -- My room was kind of a far walk from conference. -- Earlier Breakfast times would be nice. 8 am was when many of our activities began, so I did not get to enjoy the buffet, and I think I would have liked that
Worst in-room dining ever. 2 hrs, multiple phone calls, and still no food
Beaver Run has spectacular customer service and clean rooms. The free shuttle service is an awesome bonus. ----Really though, Jay at the front desk really made our stay easy. Every time we visited to ask a question Jay took the time to direct us to the parking garage, help us with shuttle service AND give us restaurant suggestions. He also never made us feel rushed and made us the #1 priority at the moment.
We really enjoy staying here when we visit Breck. The resort is close enough to Mainstreet to visit our favorite restaurants and shops but also has enough amenities that we can hang there without having to leave. Avoid Spencer s restaurant for breakfast.
Cancellation policy is terrible. Couldn't make it to the resort due to bad weather, and any other flight would have been too expensive on short notice. Couldn't get a refund for the 4 nights I didn't stay. Kept having issues because their system was down that week. You're taking a risk if you book them in advance. I wouldn't do it unless you're close enough to fly AND drive as an alternative.
Don t stay in the hotel rooms. In all my years this is the most I have ever paid for a disgusting room. Small, creepy, dirty. I think the condos are nicer- but building 4 hotel rooms are old dirty and run down.
Wonderful resort. Ski in/out in building 4 is worth every penny. Convenience, atmosphere, family activities, etc etc etc! Right on peak 9, this location can't be beat!
Two adults and one 16 yo stayed at Beaver Run Resort for 3 nights in March 2015. We chose Beaver Run Resort because of the ski-in/ski-out feature. A ski locker, which came with the condo we rented, was located at the base of Peak 9. We could walk between our unit in Building 3 to the locker using indoor hallways. The resort had small convenience store which had many items, a bit overpriced, but the convenience was worth it. The resort also had a shuttle to the many restaurants and shops in town. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Breckenridge Brewing and Pub, and Downstairs at Erics, all were very good.
Our unit was very clean but worn looking (the upholstered furniture and the bedroom dresser which had drawers askew). We had a one bedroom suite which included a king bed in the bedroom, a full kitchen, and a dining room/family room combination with a sleeper sofa. The king size bed was comfortable. The unit contained the sofa, 2 upholstered chairs, and a dining table with 4 chairs. The unit also had a fan (which my son used) and a humidifier (which we did not realize we had until the last day).
We had to call the front desk when we realized the blow dryer was not working. Maintenance came to our door with a replacement within 5 minutes of the call.
Overall, we had a great time and would stay at Beaver Run Resort again.
