Pool -- Broken fan, clogged toilet upon arrival -- No -- Updated -- Needs updating, carpet nasty, shower is too short for tall people -- Overpriced for a crappy room that we listened to dogs bark -- Seriously.... all of the above

We had a beautiful family getaway and are already planning our next trip! From the stunning views to the fabulous amenities it was the perfect relaxing vacation we all needed. We even saw a fox from our balcony! We wouldn't change a thing and cannot wait to come back!
Location -- Resort was dirty and run down -- 10th trip to Beaver Run nothing was good this time at all -- Booked through third party not directly though Beaver Run as you quoted me extremely high prices -- last experience was terrible 9 good one all wasted with one bad one. Will see what management say to me
Shuttle service, and thoughtful attention to detail by staff (Fresh coffee grounds left by room service with do not disturb sign posted) It was a great surprise! -- N/A -- Friday, October 20 Front Desk Manager
Stayed in a Studio for two nights. The AC for the room was not on, and the bedroom was on the interior of the unit with no windows. It was too hot to sleep in the bedroom, so I moved to the couch and left the door open to the balcony. On Sunday morning, my room card was deactivated at 8am. I was stuck in the hallway (in no state to be in public) and had to wait 10+ minutes for management and 2 security guards to come talk to me and let me in. Less than ideal. Building is very dated, and it was a struggle to find parking each night.
Rented one of their most expensive suites, only to have the fridge breakdown in the first of 5 days. Refused to replace fridge or move us into another unit.
Some photos online are not quite accurate of the inside of the suites,, and in case the parking garage is full, then it's difficult to navigate and turn around in.
Fist of all, I ll start by stating this is my third time staying here. My last two trips were perfectly acceptable, and I thought I would be visiting here regularly as my choice of stay for years to come.
I'm not one to complain, as this is my first review below 4 stars for anything, but this is the exception. Lowest star imaginable. When we first got to the hotel room, we noticed that it was a little dirty and unexpected for the price we were paying for the room. By the second day maid service had not come, but we didn't say anything because we thought maybe the schedules were off or there was a miscommunication. By the third day the maid service still had not come; we had run out of towels, our trash was full, and our sheets need to be changed. We waited until the end of the third day before finally going down to the front desk and requesting that maid service come to our room to do all of what we needed done. We (being two short-haired males) had lasted as long as we could in the filth. When we got back up to our room around 11 PM the maids had come to give us new towels, but still had not taken out the trash, replaced our sheets, or CLEANED AT ALL. By our fourth day, the shower was so disgusting and filled with long black hair (remember, we are two short haired males) that the drain had stopped working and the shower would not drain at all. It was so disgusting that we refused to even use the shower on our last day. We left the resort early due to the storm, and never looked back (they also don't refund). I'm unsure what the problem was, but I will NOT be going back there and would not recommend to anyone else. It also sounds like (from reading other recent reviews) that the maid service is a continuing problem which clearly has not been addressed.
The one caveat I would extend is that Shelby at the front desk was kind, courteous, and helpful whenever possible. She was the one positive part of the experience.
Another separate issue we had was the shuttles. Most of our shuttle experiences were good, but there were a few times we called and we waited 45 minutes to almost an hour to be picked up, in the freezing cold, with no where to go for warmth. We saw other shuttles from other area resorts pick up two separate batches of people in the time it took this resort to pick us up. Usually the drivers were friendly, but the wait time was ridiculous on a few occasions.
Location nice and close to Beaver run lifts. Short walk from building 3 that I stayed in. Complimentary ski lockers were nice. Hot tub situation was good. We enjoyed the arcade. Rooms are getting a bit dated.
The room was much nicer than I thought it would be for the price. It was essentially a full one bedroom apartment with private balcony and stocked fireplace. With the ski lift right outside the window.
Attended an education conference here and had a lovely time. The staff was incredibly helpful, and though the layout of the building was occasionally confusing, the conference center and all of its employees were a delight.
Our family of five had a lovely time staying here and enjoying the Arts Festival. The condo was comfortable and the kitchen more than adequate for preparing all our meals. It was easy to haul two coolers of food and a bag per person up from the car. The kids enjoyed swimming every single day. Very nice pool and hot tubs, plenty of space and well maintained. The free shuttle was the glue that held together our vacation. Parking in town is limited and expensive so we took the shuttle at least daily. It was nice to walk out of a show at Riverwalk and just get picked up rather than wait in the long line of cars trying to get out of the parking lot! The kids had their favorite driver (hi Dan!) but all the drivers were great.
Wonderful time. We stayed during the summer. Still lots to do and see. The horseback rides thru the hotel were great. Hopefully we can go back during the winter.
Beaver Run is a fantastic Hotel and Conference Center on the slopes of Peak 9 in Breckenridge. They have several very large meeting rooms, great audio video capabilities, and fantastic food. They are capable of Hosting large crowds, and host some of the largest conferences in the area. Being slopeside, and walking out the door to get on the Beaver Run chair makes the place perfect.
Filthy place don't recommend at all , i even ask them to vacuum they bring it to me so i vacuum by my self and we just checked in so it's not our miss they should prepare all this
Beautiful resort, true ski in, ski out. Great amenities the pools and hot tubs are fantastic. Spent today at the Spa and it was so relaxing, finished up with mimosas and a soak in the salt water pool!
Week Long Thanksgiving Ski Trip (2018) was wonderful! This place offers 5 star service although the resort itself is a bit old and dated. However the room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. It is a great location..ski in/out on peak 9. Perfect for skiing. If you are looking for spectacular customer service and clean rooms than this is the place for you!
It was a mediocre hotel stay -- House keeping failed to make our beds, there was no AC temp control in the room (it was hot while sleeping at night), the counter space in the bathroom was slim to none for 2 people, the guests in other rooms were loud, and our room was very confusing and inconvenient to get to with regards to parking and taking multiple elevators to get to our room. (this was annoying). -- NA -- no -- I was disappointed in my stay there. -- Unsatisfied with the stay. Don't know if I'll be interested in staying there in the future.
Went with the idea of future stay. Was very pleased with the visit. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Lots for everyone to do plus walking distance to shopping and other town activities. Looking forward to booking my next stay in Breckenridge at Beaver Run.
We had a great experience. The studio room was much nicer than we expected. Service was great and they even gave us a late check-out. I really couldn't ask for more.
We come here often and are always happy with our experience. The staff are kind and helpful. Location is right on the mountain and the lift is right there with lockers nearby.
I stayed at this hotel in late July during my Colorado Trail thru hike because it was the only place available. It's a tad outdated but I don't really care about that because I just needed a place to sleep. The staff are nice and the beds are comfy but my gosh are the rooms warm! The rooms have no A/C so you have to open a window which then introduces noise. I'd say that the resort must be great in the winter but is a no go for the summer.
We had a great visit to Breckenridge this year. 2018 thanksgiving is one for the books in regards to snow and hospitality. It seems like every year there is better staff! We took the time to ski the fresh powder in the morning and have a few beers at lunch while watching the games. Get there early on busy days, the restaurants fill up early with campers!
Rating is solely for the cafe and upstairs restaurant at the lodge. The staff was very friendly but the prices are absurd for mediocre high school cafeteria food. $40 for a bowl of soup, a chicken sandwich and a hot chocolate.
There s a real bait and switch going on at this hotel and the nightly rate. Booked one rate on their website but on checkout discovered they had also tacked on a resort fee that was never disclosed during the booking process.
After 15 minutes of multiple employees telling me I was wrong and me asking where in the confirmation email it was listed they finally removed it.
We visited over memorial day weekend. Check in lines were long and the staff was very much so making it clear that they were in a bad mood. After reception told us they were checking to see if our room is clean and ready they sent us to a dirty room. After calling down they make a comment about who we booked through and then made us wait a good 30 minutes before finally getting back to me. The new room was mediocre and the rest of the weekend we spent as much time away from here as possible. It's old and run down and so are the employees attitudes. The only good part was the thrown together arcade and mini golf. And even that you can find elsewhere. Skip over this place and book somewhere else.
Great location, right on the mountain with direct access to a High speed chair that is surrounded by very beginner runs that were perfect for my 13 year old. Another that takes you to more advanced runs. Room needed better updating and cleaning for what we paid. Didn't like that we had to pay 130.00 a week to park AND 5.5% "resort tax" on all food and drink. I never saw this disclosed when we booked, except maybe somewhere deep in the fine print!
Very friendly staff and the house keeping is very good and helpful . Me and my family felt very comfortable while staying here for the weekend. I would definitely come back again
Lack of handicap parking. Stayed in unit 4 - which had two handicap parking spots. Was never able to park in those. Five handicap spaces down a steep hill in the lot above the main building - only one time was a spot available. As a person who relies on handicap parking for my disability, this was a disaster. How can a resort of this size be so against the ADA requirements? I would never stay again, due to this oversight - shame on you!!! -- Comply with ADA parking guidelines - two spots for a building that has an occupancy of several hundred- shameful
This place is too cavernous. Long, dark halls. Everything is a hike. Hike from town is long and uphill. The lift was incredibly jammed on Saturday. I would not call most of it ski in/ski out.n
Excellent management, a real wildcard move having M.C. Escher draw the blueprints for the hotel. 10/10 highly recommended. 0/10: number of times I found my room.
No breakfast! I inquired, they pointed me to a buffet. I asked if it was complimentary, they said yes. Then they said no it wasn't after I loaded a plate. So I said okay I'll put it back, because I don't have my wallet. They said don't worry we'll take care of it. Then as I was eating the manager came up and demanded my room number to charge me $20 for a P. O. S. plate of carton eggs. Horrible. Save some aggravation and stay at a Super 8.
Wonderful place with great views. Staff is excellent, and rooms are well appointed and spacious. Breckenridge is a great family place with all the amenities for all your family needs, a must visit.
Over priced. Gave us 2 twins instead of a queen. The restaurant in house was 75 for 2 burgers and 2 beers. They gave more parking passes out then parking spots in the garage. Not impressed.
Super quiet and the room was great and had a great view. Pool and Hot tubs were fantastic. -- Elevators were broken. It closed on my daughters foot and didn't retract. Common areas(hallways, gym, arcade) were filthy. -- We've been visiting Beaver Run annually for over 10 years. We love Beaver Run but it is starting to feel dated. It was also noticeably dirty this time. The gym needs an updating as does this overall decor. The arcade has so much potential and it has never been realized in the 10-12 years we've been going. The hotel maid was on her phone on several occasions when we asked for something. The biggest disappointment was the lack of concern for our daughter who had an elevator close on her foot. It seems like they sent of the maintenance man instead of a hotel concierge or attendant.
Terrible experience as our first time to Breckenridge. Not exactly the picture we wanted to paint of this beautiful town. But Beaver Run didn't exactly work out for us. We travelled from the front range and found this was the most affordable room in town, and now I see why. Although it was $200 for 1 night. The guy at the front desk checked us in and showed me the map of everything they had to offer. He mentioned a breakfast, which I confirmed with him that it was a "continental breakfast"and that it was free. He said yes and circled the location on the map. We finally get to our room to find a very run down and dirty/dusty environment. We hadn't had dinner so we went to explore the restaurants. Now i know we're in a pandemic and i know of the state regulations, but not once did any of the guest services employees mention the closure of every single restaurant. In fact, the guy who checked is in recommended one of the restaurants on location. I then called the front desk to speak with a very rude lady to ask if the arcade was open before we left the room. She was very short with me and said " the arcade never closes." We got to the arcade to find everything was turned off due to covid. Yet ironically the vending machines that we also touch were on and the drinking fountains were open (I'd rather push a button on a game than drink from a fountain ) The mini golf was open but nothing had been cleaned. The bar closed before 9pm, which is closing time. The night was ok. Until a baby woke us up by our thin walls. In the morning we rushed out to get breakfast that we were told started at 8am. We got lost and no one was around to ask how to find our way to the lobby, it was so empty and felt like ghost town. Finally made it to the lobby to ask where breakfast was. Was informed there was breakfast but it in fact not free. The very rude manager Brian V shrugged at every complaint I made too him. He was everything less than a considerate employee. (***EDIT! Spoke with the actual ops manager and found out this guy I spoke with was indeed NOT Brian V! He impersonated the manager. BRIAN V is in fact very nice.) I explained everything to him and he just kept using the regulations as his excuse. The only excuse for his uneducated employees is his lack of training. Will never visit again and I hope no one else does either.
