The conference center is difficult to navigate and a bit spread out. If you are looking to help your conference participants get a respectable number of steps in this is the venue for you. The food was of good quality and the spaces were flexible enough to host a large variety of different uses. If it is during ski season, the location is excellent for accessing the slopes. Otherwise I feel it is just fine, not supurb.

Location to ski lift -- Room too crowded uncomfortable and not very clean -- Not really -- No sheets for the pull out bed, shower did not work, no complementary coffee, dirty carpet, lot of loud noises all night long -- Maybe but would want to inspect room first

I came with my husband who is here for a conference. Our room is one of the studios with an air conditioner (must have for sleeping in the summer!) This place is kind of a maze but it s cute and rustic.

My experience at the spa today was next level. I was beyond impressed with the service and general hospitality. The spa at this older resort far exceeded my expectations.

I get massages and facials pretty regularly, about once a month. Mandy was incredible. She is highly skilled and professional. The massage and facial were both top of the line. I hope she has availability the next time we are in Breckenridge!

The only downside to this place is I fell on the last day by one of the elevators. I knew that I was going to fall because you can kind of see the ramp but if you're not paying attention you can fall. Great place to be for a conference. Lots to see and a beautiful place surrounded the resort.

Pretty awesome place for a summer visit. Had a full kitchen to use and service and amenities were high grade. And activities like hiking, zip lining and Breckenridge visiting are all so close to access. Need to be there. Be well vacationsensei

Noise...Noise...Noise!!! Why you would place a guest in a room that is directly below as well as surrounded by rooms being renovated is beyond me. I had to spend hours enduring the sounds of furniture being slid across the floor, hammering, pounding, drilling, scraping, and stomping in room directly above, as well as the constant whir from vacuum tubes running up and down the hallway outside my room, into adjacent rooms. All the noise made it very hard to do my computer work, and impossible to carry on phone conversations. Very miserable experience. -- Don't enjoy paying for an experience that rivals downtown New York in rush hour and has me departing with a headache I didn't arrive with.

Location -- The room was awful. I know you get responses like this often, but I never write them. This is truly the first time I've written a negative review. Unit 34400 should be redone before someone else wastes their hard-earned money. I saw a room down the hall being cleaned and it was considerably nicer than ours. -- When compared to other condos/suites we have stayed in, this was by far the worst. Poor condition, in need of repairs and cleaning, smelled like smoke, very drab and depressing decor, and looked nothing like the clip photo attached to the room online. Very, very disappointing. -- See above. I've paid comparable prices in the past with a much better room/condo and amenities. -- See above. Location was the only plus.

Spent a week here in late February - Beginning of March and it was great! The ski in & ski out was awesome, definitely a huge plus to not have to lug skis to and from the room!

GREAT management, GREAT staff and wonderful views!

These condos are amazing. The condo we stayed in was huge, very clean, large plush beds, great kitchen, nice furniture. The place has very nice amenities, the pool/hot tubs/sauna etc were very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and professional. The grounds are lovely, right at the foot of the mountain - great views!!! Dining was delicious and well-served. Short walk to town, or super short ride. Were I planning a conference, I would do my best to have it held here.

The room is very Smokey and uncomfortable. The coffee pot shorted out and the windows are extremely difficult/impossible to open. I used to spend a great deal of time at this resort 20 years ago and it was always a great experience. I am disappointed in what has become of a once wonderful place. Staff has offered some solutions but has not followed through. :(

Inadequate solution for keeping the room cool at night. There is no a/c, which in and of itself isn't a problem. Outside air temps fall plenty low enough at night you just need a way to get that air inside. We left our large sliding glass door open all night, but unfortunately, the window blinds close so tightly they prevented almost all of that cool air from entering. Sunrise this time of year is 5:45am, so, leaving the blinds open wasn't an acceptable option. Thermostat read 74F when we got up. Too warm for us. The rest of the hotel is nice; the room in general was nice.

I stayed in a 3 bedroom condo which was well maintained, clean and conveniently located within Breckenridge and the facility itself. The entire staff was helpful and pleasent. Game room with miniature golf for the kids. A sizeable indoor outdoor pool. Many hot tubs located throughout the Hub and other buildings. The ski in / ski out is easy to negotiate and convenient to both lift and storage lockers. I feel like the selection of in-house bars and restaurants was a bit lacking but not to the point of taking a star. I would stay here again.

Our room was so well appointed - hard flooring, quality furnishings, not too much clutter. We really enjoyed it. We were disappointed that the reservation I made through a third party the night before didn't go through, but Chris at the front desk sorted things out quickly and professionally.

We enjoyed the suite living area we stayed in. -- The bath tub is extremely hard to get into and out of. I do not like the doors on the tub nor the step up to get into the tub. Also found it very confusing to figure out where we needed to go and how to get there within the resort itself.

The kitchenette with appliances and supplies were most convenient and useful. LOVED the convenient shuttle service. Gorgeous scenery! Convenient location. -- We stayed at Beaver Run for five days and received housekeeping just ONE TIME. We are happy to be green friendly and reuse towels/sheets, but to use for the entire week was not acceptable. We also ran out of toilet paper. The one time (Saturday) that we DID receive housekeeping, a piece of inexpensive, yet VERY SENTIMENTAL jewelry came up missing from the bathroom (had been placed in the tray on bathroom sink).

I mean, where do I even start with Beaver run? I came here 5 some years ago as a wee lad and I loved it, came back recently to celebrate 4th of July, and despite being in one of the cheaper rooms this time around, the experience was just as amazing! There's a lot you can do in Breckenridge and the town feel is awesome! Highly recommend this hotel and town I'm general!

We love coming here for a number of reasons. During ski season, the lift is virtually or actually just outside the door (depending on the room). Hot tubs and swimming pools and good food and drink all year 'round. Perfect for families.

3 stars simply due to this hotel having no A/C. We had even called the front desk immediately after getting to our room, and they advised the resort didn't have A/C, but upon check-out, we saw several rooms had portable A/C units inside of them. I would never stay here again between May-Oct.

Despite it being 55 outside at night, our room never got cooler than 74 with all of the windows open/box fans in the windows/etc - so our fireplace suite in September was absolutely useless. Had a great time otherwise, staff was accommodating, suite was clean, etc. The walls are THIN though, you can hear everything in the hallways and in the rooms next to you. Most of the hotel is in dire need of renovations/updating.

24 hour arcade and mini golf was a really cool idea, but 90% of the game machines required game-cards, and the game-card machine was broken - total bust. Pool tables around resort were great, but required quarters - with no front desk/staff anywhere near them. Pool/hot tubs were our favorite part with being open until 11pm! Would definitely stay here in the winter as a budget-friendly option.

Staff was great and the rooms were pretty good. Minutes from the downtown area and they even provide a free shuttle to and from the resort. Several options for bars and restaurants within the resort with a pretty solid happy hour.

Cleanliness and comfortable beds -- molding missing; cabinets under sink off the hinge -- The night manager...either Brendon, or Brandon. -- maybe rooms set in an area with less walking for seniors and grab bars in the showers -- It's a big facility and it is not easy for my husband and I to walk it. We would need it to be more senior citizen friendly.

I stayed at the resort for two nights during the m...

I stayed at the resort for two nights during the mud season for a conference. The resort is spread out with several buildings, and not enough parking. There is a central garage, but it's not convenient to some of the buildings. I stayed in Building 4 and had to haul my belongings through a garage, then through a building, over a skywalk, up some stairs, and into Building 4, then into the elevator to my floor then down a couple of long hallways to my room. It was a haul. It appears that other buildings in the resort have similar issues. The resort is very dated think 1980 s and it looks like little has been done to maintain it. Some rooms were being painted on my floor, so maybe they are starting to update? The trade-off was the construction guys took valuable parking spaces, and the paint fumes were annoying. The room itself was dirty. Trash and belongings from a previous occupant were discovered under the bead, and there was a pile of hair, like someone had just pulled it out of their hairbrush, on the counter right next to the drinking glasses. The room hadn t been vacuumed and the commode area was dirty. It was a small suite, but the layout was very odd. The door opened to a closet and a small bedroom, then a pass-through kitchenette, and a roomy living/dining area. The bathroom was separated into a commode closet and a vanity area on one side of the hall, and a huge (a little grungy and dated) tiled jet tub with a shower on the other side of the hallway. The tub room was triangular, with two walls of windows into the rest of the condo/unit and one wall of cheesy, floor-to-ceiling mirror. I got the feeling the large tub was meant to be a sexy selling feature for the room; but there wasn t much sexy about it. The water pressure was bad, and I couldn t get hot water. I would have rather had a decent, working shower, and a larger bedroom. Speaking of the bed, I m an average-height woman, but that bed was so high, I had to practically pole-vault to get into it. In the dining/living area, the dining table and chairs were filthy. The Wi-Fi, although free, was spotty. It was early May in a mountain town and the heat was still kicking on, so the room was way too warm. I couldn t cool it down without opening a window. They did provide a fan, but I didn t bother. The bedroom was too small and there really wasn t a place to set it up. I just slept with no covers at night. The warmth was very uncomfortable; which is ironic, because the conference rooms and exhibitor hallway in the conference area had the A/C blasting, and were freezing (I believe that was Building 1). The conference food was meh. I was an exhibitor in the exhibitor hallway and watched as hotel crews set up a beverage and cookie station when conference-goers were in one of their break-out sessions. Then within a half-hour, before the conference-goers had even left their session, the crew came and removed the beverages and cookie trays which hadn t even been touched. Then about a half hour later, they brought the cookies back. It was the oddest thing. The other exhibitors and I just looked at each other and shrugged. Regarding other aspects of the resort, I did not use the hot tubs and pools in the facilities, nor did I eat in any of the restaurants, so I cannot comment there. On a positive note, the views were breathtaking, and the proximity to the ski slopes is unbeatable. I can see it being very convenient for skiers. I was also told there was a free shuttle to town, which is a nice feature, although I didn t take advantage of it. Breckenridge is such a beautiful town and ski area, the resort has a really great opportunity to be a premier lodging and conference choice, but it misses the mark in many ways.

Had a great stay here. They know customer service. I was disappointed our room wasn't exactly like the picture promised, but I was offered compensation that made it all okay. Sure the buildings are old and not very fancy, but it is worth the money and still a great get-away. Hot-tubbing in the snow was unbeatable. Love that they are dog-friendly and have everything under one roof. Spa treatments were amazing!

The facade of the building look great. The lobby and common area are clean and inviting, there are plenty of seats to relax and enjoy the sites. The room are nice but seem to be poorly remodeled, the drapes don't cover the windows and the room partition was not hooked to the wall so it let light into the room. The property is a maze where you will need the map to find anything. It is very easy to get lost. We visited during the off season so there where not a lot of people to ask for help from. Overall it is a nice property once you figure the place out. It is close to downtown Breckenridge and the ski slopes.

Beaver Run is one of the largest, possibly the lar...

Beaver Run is one of the largest, possibly the largest, resort in Summit County. It sits at the base of Peak 9 in Breckenridge and has true "ski-in/ski-out" access to the mountain. The resort is separated into 4 large buildings that are connected with elevated walkways. There is a lot of parking available, most of it in an enclosed parking garage, and some uncovered outside each building. The front desk isn't the most friendly staff I encountered during my stay, but the bulk of the staff, and people in Breckenridge, are more than friendly. That said, don't expect to get early check-in if you arrive early, but the bell staff is ready to hold your luggage if needed. During our stay, I learned that some of the rooms in our Building 4 were actually private residences. Our room was dated and badly in need of renovation. There wasn't enough power outlets, and the ones we had needed to be replaced. The attractive shower area didn't have an exhaust fan, so with each shower we filled our suite with hot moist air. At night, it was near impossible to regulate the temperature in the room, we were constantly too hot. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they sent someone up to look at the "floor heater", which was a tiny vent in the far side of the suite. We would turn this off at night, but still our bedroom, next to the door to the hallway, was very hot and kept us awake. Thankfully there is a fan in the closet and it helped cool things down a lot.

On the plus side, the resort had amenities one would expect in large reports around the country. Exercise room, co-ed sauna, co-ed steam room (closed for repair), multiple outdoor hot tubs, restaurants, laundry rooms, and a free shuttle to take you anywhere in town. The shuttle was a fantastic perk to the hotel and we used it almost exclusively while keeping our car parked.

How to get to Breckenridge from Denver: after considering all of our options for transportation, we ultimately learned that renting a car and paying for parking was cheaper than paying for a shuttle. Those shuttle companies charge a lot and it was so much better for us to have a car on site when we needed it.

Enjoy Breckenridge! It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited.

Hot and dirty room. Front desk took half an hour to figure out my billing (3 times). I thought there was rat poop in the bath tub and I told the maid I already cleaned it myself. I asked her if there were rats in the rooms and she said, "yes." I told the management and they said it was not true. Maintenance came right away to fix the drain. Elevator worked sometimes. I found it impossible to navigate the building because the signage is unclear or non-existent. I was charged for bottles of water in the room and I swear I never was informed of the charge but when I checked out, the front desk "promised" me that I was informed. ? Beautiful views but I won't stay here again.

Hotel is perfect if your looking for a mountain retreat that has a feel of home with the two bedroom Suits. It is like having your very own apartment or condo at the base of the mountains. Our room also had a nice fireplace that we enjoyed while relaxing after a day of hiking. We also had an issue with our reservation but the staff at the hotel were great! They fixed the issue and went above and beyond to insure our stay was Awesome. Thank you Beaver Run Staff and Management! You truly know what great customer service is.

We stayed at Beaver Run Resort from 12/29/18 to 1/4/19 for our annual trip to Breck. On the good side, the location is great, very convenient ski in/ski out. Other than that the place is a bust. Our condo was an absolute dump. Minimal furniture, not enough to even seat number of guest the condo can hold(a medium size sofa and one sitting chair which was completely worn out- looked like something they picked up at a garage sale for $10.). Kitchen was really not good, microwave was only partially working, turntable didn't work some features were broken, missing pans so you couldn't really cook a meal. 1970s vintage toaster and coffee maker. First night there was water pouring out of a ceiling tile onto the floor in the hallway so had to dodge the waterfall. Staff at desk did the bare minimum checking us in, didn't explain much and clearly didn't wan to be bothered with details. Ski lockers are only one per room which really doesn't work if you have 6 people which the condo advertises it can accommodate and now way to get 3 pairs of skis and snowboard in the locker. Condo provided daily service but not sure what they did in the couple of days we had them service room. Two days they didn't show up til 4:30pm in the afternoon when we'd just returned from skiing. On the last day they serviced the room they left a pile of towels at the bottom of the stairs and never returned to pick them up. Restaurants are really overpriced and only "ok" food. The good news is the snow was good, weather was good and skiing was great. Condo was a dump, book early and somewhere else, can do much better than "Beaver Rundown Resort".

When I complained about my room being dusty they did offer to move me to another room. I said no only because I was only staying one more night. It was nice they asked. -- Top big, very difficult to navigate, my guest room was dusty and I was blowing my nose and sneezing most of the time while in my room. Resort hallways and rooms needs updating looking tired, navigation signage was not good -- Not my type of property way to big and too difficult to find my way around. The staff was nice however
