Went in recently looking to buy a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee & while Lee our salesman was very helpful when we offered to buy it on site if they could drop the price $500 the floor manager told us no yet the next day the price was dropped $500 & now a week later the price has been dropped another $500 !!

Normally I don't post a review but this is my second one today. Posted one to RK Chevrolet and now here. We have bought five vehicles from Beach Ford in the past: 3 Ford Focuses, a Ford Escape (my parents' car), and a Ford Flex. We recently took our 2011 Ford Flex in for a repair. We were given a quote around $9,000 to replace the engine for a broken water pump. Then my husband spoke to John about trading in our vehicle for a new vehicle. He gave us a trade-in value of $200 for our 2011 Ford Flex. Needless to say, we went back to the dealership and picked up our Flex. Thank God RK Chevrolet worked with us and we were able to trade-in our Flex for a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse Premier. They gave us a great trade-in value knowing that we had the water pump issue. Beach Ford, you have lost a loyal customer and all the repeat business and referrals we have provided over the years. Hope your bottom profit line was worth it.

I totaled my car and was worried that I wouldn t be able to find a car for my price, but Mike Z. & Ryan M. from Beach Ford were more than helpful! They found me a car that had everything I wanted at the right price. Not only that but while I waited ( which was extremely fast ) they offered me food and a drink from their cafe while I watched tv on a comfortable sofa. It made me feel like I was home with my family. Overall great experience and extremely welcoming business.

Had a service appointment scheduled for 10am and they so happened to be able to fix the recall on my car as well, I go back at 1:30 and they hadn't even done the oil change which was scheduled at 10am, then the service rep blamed me for them not doing my car.

I brought my car in around 8 in the morning to get my horn fix and airbag light done went to work as usual then come to find out I get off at 3:30 came in thinking my car is ready to go but not he told me that they didn't even pull it in to get it looked at or fixed all that time and no nothing to show for bunch of lies no respect for you time at all I was late to a lot of things getting things done couldn't get it done beaches that was my only car I don't have two three cars like other people I said I have NOOOO OTHER MEANS OF TRASORTATION and he said of that's okay like my car will be done in that time the only thing they doo that's eff good is oil changes anything else you bring it in for expect to get you car back by the end of the week or many two even with oil changes they leave oil on your steering wheel and brake dust on your gear shifter cuz they don't want to wash there hands!!!

Thanks to Tony Perez, Crystal Pepper and Sandra Hennet for their excellent service today as we bought a new Escape. To Tony, especially, who searched Ford inventory as far west as Kansas City to find one that matched our requests and put us in the perfect car. It was a painless experience for us and he managed to get us in and out in our new Escape in less than three hours.

It shouldn t take over two hours for an oil change with an appointment. Sub par customer service. Mike pretty much ignored me questioning why it took so long, and didn t come back to get me after he tried to get me to buy $300 worth of parts I don t need. I watched multiple people come and go while I sat and waited and finally got up only to have Mike say that my car had finally finished up. My family members swear by Beach Ford, but today was my last visit to the store.

Great sales staff... TERRIBLE service!! Don't let the "we're open until 10" fool you. I called to schedule an oil change and state inspection and they insisted they don't do them after 3pm. Last time I called and wanted them to look at something, they couldn't look at a "problem like that" after 3pm.. Asked about a loaner vehicle so I could leave my 2015 vehicle there and still get to work... Was told they don't have loaners, but Enterprise was on site if I needed to rent a vehicle..
I asked if I could drop my car off for the day as a walk-in for a state inspection and was told they won't get to it today so it will just sit there until tomorrow. They do NOT try to work with you. EVER!! I regret buying my vehicle from there. Stay away!

Was looking for a used 4 door sedan that got great mileage. I looked all over the tidewater area and everyone I know that has dealt with Beach Ford told me how great they were as well as Tony Perez. I went in one day to meet with Tony and told him what I was looking for. That night I had an email with all their vehicles in inventory that met my wants. Two days later I purchased a car he showed me. Got a better deal at Beach Ford then any other dealer could for what I purchased. He was extremely helpful, made things hassle free and explained everything. Highly recommended

I highly recommend Crystal Pepper because she does her best to help the customer receive a more than fair price for the new vehicle and the trade in (if you have one). She is the best in the business and is a straight shooter when it comes down to everything. I will continue purchasing from Crystal and Beach Ford even though I will be leaving the area soon.

I worked with Tommy and had a painless time purchasing a 2016 Focus coming in to look at the car and walking out with the title in about 3-3.5 hours. The price was more than fair; the sales staff were not pushy or overbearing; and the vehicle came with a certified pre-owned stamp of approval. They also put a fair amount of work into the car prior to selling it. That said, the grade driver for this review was due to that fact - their work - and questions I now have about their maintenance team. They replaced both headlight assemblies prior to my purchase and I didn't happen to notice until today that my passenger side headlight (~27 inches off the ground) was misaligned (hitting a wall about 6.5 to 7 feet high when parked at 25 feet away). No big deal, figured I'd take it in during daylight and they'd quickly correct their mistake for a new customer as it is an easy fix, plus I didn't want to mess with it after work and drive home blinding everyone I drove past. I proceeded to sit in their lounge for 1.5 hours for what took me about 20 minutes (and that was more than it should have taken me as I was putzing around)...and the best part is that they did NOTHING to fix it. After 1.5 hours, one of the easiest fixes a mechanic can make to a car, was not rectified...at least they didn't charge me. I'm hesitant to ever go back because simply put: I do not trust their mechanics anymore.

I had a positive experience when I purchased my Fiesta at Beach Ford in February, 2011 so I never shopped at any other dealer for any other make when I needed a truck. The salesman, Justin Curtis was both friendly and professional. He was very helpful and informative, and tolerant of my bipolar approach to buying a vehicle. Mr. Curtis managed to locate a truck with everything I requested and many additional features that I'm very pleased with. Fred in the finance department was also very accommodating and I appreciate his efficiency and direct information.

So after they tried to get me for 2000 shiver the offer I gave them and the verbally agreed on, I went to another dealer and got an extra 1000 off from the offer I made this dealer, it was the exact same car, same price down to the penny

Lied to get me to the dealership, going to keep this short and simple for everyone. So went to the dealership to look, found a car and got an offer for my trade, next day sent an offer in(email), they eventually agreed (verbally) no paper trail, was to busy to go then plus a long drive so next day off I sent another email with clear details of the offer so it would be on paper, no confusion. To not leave a paper trail they verbally agreed again, I make the long 2 hour one way drive and they try to get me for well over 2000 closer to 3000 I believe. sad thing is I believe this is mostly the managers doing along with the salesman. Manger said they though the price I told them I should be financing in the clearly stated email was a typo. It clearly had the #of the car, # number of the trade, # of the down payment, and # left to finance, but was nearly 3000 differance when I arrived, cause what they believed was a typo, guess I'm too stupid to subtract three numbers. Avoid the bs shop elsewhere

Five star dealership. Great experience buying my new vehicle. Refreshing to walk in to a dealership and be allowed to look at cars without pushy salespeople. My salesman, Mike Dudley, was very helpful with the process. He answered all my questions and gave me options on how to save money through various financing options and Ford rebates. They have a large cafe that sells sandwiches, salads and snacks while you wait. If you re looking for a new car, do yourself a favor....go see Mike Dudley at Beach Ford.

The sales department here has always been friendly and very helpful.

My problem lies with the service department. A beached whale is more responsive than they are as far as customer service goes. The garage is S-L-O-W but it hasn't always been as bad as it is. The fact that there is a rental car desk in the service area should've raised red flags with me.

The moral of the story: expect it to take a while before you get your car back.

I purchased my new vehicle from Beach Ford this week and overall my experience was positive. The sales team was just as pleasurable to work with as service. Took in my car (a Ford) to have regular service done, and they diagnosed problems that didn't exist and wanted to replace parts that don't exist on my car or any car, requested over $3000 in repairs. They also failed it on state inspection, which another service station passed it without any repairs. Awful service.

I have a friend who works in service department says they are not busy at all, he even took a photo of Services Department not 1 car in there, but they can't get me in till 2 weeks..SMH. He went above and beyond the norm when responding to questions and always stayed in touch during the entire procedure. We ended up with the car we wanted, in no small part due to his diligence. I have a F150 5.0L and needed an 0-ring for a coolant t-connection. I knew from online threads that this part was poorly engineered and difficult to find. The serviceperson in parts was helpful but Ford doesn't offer the o-ring separate from the t-connection. Price for the t-connector $90.
The 6 inch long piece of rubber is poorly engineered and in high demand. Instead of serving their customers and offering the O-ring, they have decided to take advantage of a part in demand and gouge the customer as much as possible? I substituted an aftermarket O-ring $0.98 which has temporarily fixed the issue (follow up: did not fix the issue). I would be impressed if they came up with a reasonable part offering closer to the $0.98 of the poorly engineered O-ring in their connector. This is likely more of a Ford review than Beach Ford specifically. I would love to change the review....

I just bought a (barely) used vehicle from Beach Ford and the whole process was a breeze! The minute I found the car I wanted things went so smoothly. Sean Murray was awesome to get my deal worked out so it was pretty much an in and out deal when I went to get my new baby! He and Sandra Hennet (settlement manager) went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible and I would recommend Beach Ford to anyone in the market for a new vehicle! 5 stars again and again!

Literally purchased the best priced Ford Focus within 400 miles on Mempial Day. They are doing well with Covid regulations, offering masks if you don't have one, and cleaning surfaces. I still can't believe it take 4+ hours to buy a car, but I don't think that will improve anytime soon. The sales men seem to be pretty over tasked as ours was finalizing our sale he was being pulled to help other customers.

The dealership is very nice and the our salesman Omar was excellent and did an excellent job however I was disappointed in the negotiation experience. Be very aware of what your trade in is worth. I was lucky that I had a quote from another dealership as Beach tried to immediately have me upside down on my trade in even though it was worth about 2000 more in trade in value, which I finally got after a lot of back and forth. The new car is nice the detailing did not do a very good job of cleaning the car and there was damage to the car that I missed, however it was dark so my fault on that one. We never got to meet our service advisor nor have any sort of communication abut their engine and transmission guaranteed for life. Their parts department is awesome though with great service. I hope the rest of the time we work with Beach goes better. Overall a decent experience but somewhat disappointing.

I had a fuel pump replaced on August 4th of last year. On the 6th of this month my Ford Expedition stopped on me. I had it taking to Beach Ford because they replaced the fuel pump back in August. I get a text message this morning stating that there was an internal failure with my Fuel pump and DPFE SENSOR. To replace them and the fuel filter would cost $1824.68. I informed them that the fuel pump was replaced on the 4th of August by them, which cost me $1317.73. Response was okay I see that the fuel pump is covered but to replace the sensor would cost $438.71. I feel that I shouldn't have to pay this because they missed this back in August, I was told that there was no fault in the DPFE at that time. I get another text stating that after a further diagnosis it was discovered that the BCM was shorting out the fuel pump. How was this discovered now but wasn't back in August? I will never take my vehicle to them again. New total is now at $840.15. So they want me to pay a grand total of $2157.88 for a FUEL PUMP, DPFE SENSOR & BCM. Not going to happen.

Great experience - we spent maybe an hour at the dealership test drivng and working numbers then left - Beach Ford did the rest and our sales person (Emily) actually delivered the car to us for final paperwork in our hone Emily has sold us our last 3 cars and is the main reason we rechose to bypass 2 closer Ford dealers on favor of Beach Ford. We would recommend her and Beach Ford to anyone looking for a no hassle honest approach to car buying.

I had a wonderful experience at Beach Ford! I have been working on getting a truck , on and off with Mark Vasiloff, for about a year and was finally able to make that happen last night. Throughout the year he had been patient with me during a family struggle but continued to reach out to wish me the best. When it was finally time for me to purchase my truck, I called and promised him he would get my sale for the actions he has showed over the year. He was able to show me exactly what I had asked for and didn't pressure me to go bigger or look at a vehicle I wasn't interested in. He is a great guy to work with and definitely enjoyed talking with him.

I worked with Chris Bryan a little bit on getting pricing options and he was able to help me out financially and then when I came in the next day to purchase he was on vacation so I was transferred (Chris told me this the night before) to Leon Baughns to actually go over the warranty and get the contracts signed and everything was perfect and timely. Again, totally a five star service and will definitely be referring Mark, Chris, and Leon to other people and I will be doing business again with Beach Ford.

I took my car here for a recall on my fuel tank, the first time I took it there they said nothing was wrong but my fuel tank was still leaking gas, so I took it there AGAIN and they finally found the crack on my fuel tank..... well I just picked up my car today JUST TO FIND OUT THEY DIDNT CONNECT THE FUEL LINE PROPERLY AND I ENDED UP STRANDED ON THE INTERSTATE, so not only did they gundeck the service to my car but it was a service that can affect my personal safety. I m officially sick of beach ford and I do not wish them the best.

Horrible customer service. I don t look forward to going to this dealership but it is very close to my house so I ll have to deal with it for now. I will be going to another dealership next time. Originally, last year, when I was in the market for a new F-250, a sales woman had set up a time to see my trade in vehicle and when I arrived, she was no where to be found and it took a very long time to contact her by phone and finally it turned out she wasn t even at work that day. She also thought the situation was a little humorous. I did not find it funny considering I interrupted my work day for that meeting. I ended up buying a $50k Chevy 3500 Diesel from RK next door. Then just the other day, I had to take my F350 in for service because at one point that morning, the engine was not turning over. I arrived to the service center and was basically talked down to because I had not set up an appointment. I was told to go inside and talk to a service representative. After standing in the service center for an extremely long time, with numerous employees walking around not concerned about what I needed, I finally asked someone for help. Again, I was talked down to like I was stupid for not setting up an appointment. The service representatives seem like they dislike their jobs and show no interest in actually helping a customer. It almost seemed like I was bothering them by trying to get my vehicle fixed. Other patrons were showing signs of the same dissatisfaction I have.

Manuel was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. There was no BS from anyone and that's what we like. Will definitely be back soon to trade in our Explorer.

Phenomenal experience - consistently. Becky Slater is the ultimate professional with an unparalleled customer focus. Becky fit both cars in for early morning service with staggered appointments. She tracked service on the first car to ensure adequate turnaround time to make a round trip home to drop off the first and pick up the second for service. During the repair process, Becky sought me out with regular updates on progress. We have two Beach Ford purchases and are certain to return.

Above the unparalleled service, the facility is well planned for customer comfort and ease. My youngest son looks forward to service visits for the opportunity to eat at the snack bar. The staff is friendly, accomodating and, mighty fine masters of the culinary arts. Well done, Beach Ford!

Beach Ford is not only clean but any of the employees, no matter what position, were friendly and ready to help. We were never pressured and didn't feel like we were just a sale. Our sales guy treated us like family. We'd recommend trying this dealership first.

I researched Ram trucks for about 4 months. Beach Ford had a very nice 2012 Ram Laramie Longhorn. Their price was fair and after talking with Heidi over emails, we made the drive up from the OBX. We met Bobby Reckling once there. He was very polite and almost nonchalant, which was nice. No one likes a pushy salesman. He gave us the keys and let us take it out for about 25-30 min. Once back, we started the process. To our surprise a great deal was reached and we took home an amazing truck. Buying from them has such a value. We will definitely be driving back up there for service.

3-20-18: We have bought now our 3rd vehicle from Beach Ford and Bobby Reckling. The process is so smooth, and we got an amazing deal on their last 2017 Expedition. Our family of six fits in it nicely. Bobby is the only one we will ever deal with there.

I, however, did not like that they take away your constitutional right to go to court with them when you buy a car. They welcome you to their Beach Ford family by taking away your rights
