I would like to say the staff in 2 North is incredible! So attentive to my needs on every level. I would like to especially send a special shout out to Hannah who has been my nurse for most of the time I ve been here. She has gone above and beyond to make me comfortable and make sure I am well taken care of and all my needs are met. I give 2 North an A+

Cardiac Rehab at Meridian Bayshore-- excellent, caring, and careful. A Great team!

I was recently a patient on 2 West. Wow, what a great experience. The process for checking in was organized and swift. I was so nervous but each staff member was positive and encouraging; they really put me at ease. Dr. Greco's team are outstandingI. The nurses on 2West treated me like VIP and were so kind and capable. Thank you nurses, Joan, Susan, Tamara and Felicia. The pt Care team assigned to me were all 5 stars.t Finally, thank you Mark Morrison. Your daily visits did not go unnoticed. Thank you for sharing your journey and the gift of a journal book. I endeavor fill it with pics of my journey.

I went to the ER with sever abdominal pains. From the desk by the waiting room all the way through to my release two days later I was taken care of like I owned the place.

In recently had surgery and stayed experience at Bayshore in the 4 South Unit. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone I encountered. From the moment I stepped in for my surgery until the very last nurse I talked to everyone was fantastic.

Nurse Devine and Nurse Jesebel took really good care of me. They always checked up on me and made sure I had what I needed and made me feel comfortable. Thank you to Dr. Greco for all the help.

The staff here is great. From the moment I arrived until I left. The lobby attendants with their directions and the cafeteria. The assistance from the support staff was awesome. i was well taken care of and made to feel comfortable . Great hospital.

Had my surgery yesterday by Dr. Greco amazing doctor- amazing staff. I m on 2nd floor east. I have to say all the staff is awesome and attentive but I had one nurse that stood out to me because of her personality and bedside manor her name was Lauren, shes is so down to earth and made me feel so comfortable during my overnight stay! Another shot out is to a incredible person not only doing his job but making it personal and I can t say enough nice things about him! He is Mark the patient advocate. Coming in and checking in on me multiple times, he is so sweet and friendly the list goes on and on. I m happy I choose this hospital! Thank you all so much

Now to Mark !!! The Patient Representative. I saved the best for last. I have never met a more dedicated and warming person who loves his job and all the people he encounters every day. Mark takes his time to get to know each and every person or patient in the hospital. So easy to talk to and delightful to get to know. He shared his experience of his journey and give you pep talks. I hope he knows what a wonderful person he is and that he has such a genuine heart. He would visit countless times a day just to see if you are alright. He even sent my roommate and me a dozen beautiful roses with a birthday card to celebrate our new life journey as he calls it, which he gave us a journal to write and post a before and after pictures and to track our progress. Which is so thoughtful. He wanted me to have a very positive experience and I certainly did. I can't say enough good things about Mark. He is priceless. He also showed us out our window the beautiful vegetable garden he started for the employees to have fresh veggies. He introduced me to Ted who is head of the kitchen and supply's the first meal of your new life which was actually good. I got to ask Ted about the tray he prepared for bariatric patients, like what kind of broth to the jello, and portions. I told him how much I enjoyed my 1st meal. He was very kind and friendly and open to share his knowledge. Also, anyone on that floor that had bariatric surgery was so open and eager to share their experience with me. All I had to do was ask.
The day after discharge Susan the nurse called to I was feeling. Nurse management Chris and his assistant Franco called to see how everything went. All I can say is this experience was EXCELLENT.
To end my long story, I will forever be grateful for all the wonderful people of Bayshore Community Hospital. You have all strived to be the best, #1 and I know that you have arrived and I hope that my letter is on the beginning of "Bayshore Community Hospitals Journey" You are all in my heart and life forever. I will refer anyone to your hospital for anything but especially bariatrics and Dr. Greco's team who was at the start of it all. God bless you all.

Bayshore Hospital has been there for me numerous times. The quality of care and compassion is outstanding across the board. From the nurses to the doctors their kindness and understanding shows how much they truly care for their patients. There are hospitals closer to my home but Bayshore will always be my choice. My experience at Bayshore medical center was great i appreciate the staff for there attentive care. Dr. Greco and his bariatric team they were there for me on this journey.

I had bariatric surgery here performed by Dr. Greco on 1/6/2020. From the moment I checked in till the moment I checked out I could not have been happier. Dr. Greco, Mark Morrison the Patient Experience Ambassador and all the Nurses in 2west were AMAZING. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and was comfortable. Which topped it off was the Journal Mark had given to me which touched my heart. I will be forever grateful for my surgeon and this entire staff.

I'm writing this on regards to my Mother, Pamela Salvano. She is currently in Four East. I just had to sign the papers for hospice , and as her oldest daughter was one of the hardest things of my life. But i Thank God for putting all these AMAZING ANGELS that work here in my life. Starting with the nurse on Four East Julie, who truly treats and cares for my Mom as if it were her Mother, the soothing words I hear Julie say as I sit outside the door that gives me SO much comfort, knowing it's OK to go outside or to eat because I know my Mom is in the best hands. If there were more nurses who had such compassion like Julie the world would definitely be a little better And Mark Morrison from Patient Advocates who has been like Family helping me through this, anytime I needed to talk or had any question even if it's the same question a thousand times, Mark was ALWAYS and STILL so amazingly patient, caring and truly just makes me feel like I'm with Family while I'm by myself with my Mom. When I need to breakdown and cry he's just right there. Never ever judges me about ANYTHING he just gives me that caring love and concern that I don't know how to ever thank him enough for just being Mark. And also from Patient Advocacy, Joe Monica also another Angel, always makes sure to pop in just to check in on how my Mom is. And how I am! Has helped to understand everything going on with such sincereity. Made sure we had Family meetings with the Drs and my Siblings to help us just get through this and understand EXACTLY what my Mom is going through. Joe also made sure to introduce me to another great person Ron. And explained he was not going to be here, which I've never experienced at a hospital, introducing me so I know who to go to. It's truly just a blessing to have met ALL these beautiful people who don't know me at all, or my Mom but still made me feel like I had Family with me through every moment and every decision. And last but not least by any means, Ted Zinn Director of food service. Truly a God send, the last thing someone who is watching their Mother leave this Earth thinks about is food. But anytime AND I TRULY MEAN ANYTIME Ted would see me, he would always ask about my Mother just like everyone else I've spoke about. But then what really truly touches my heart everyone was also concerned about Me and how do I feel! That's just so heart touching. And on top of just all this love and genuine concern, Ted made sure I always ate and just told the food service workers to take care of me and that was just one thing less to worry about and that's with all of these great people who work here. Everyone in there own unique way has touched my heart and makes me see that there still is good in this world. I just don't even have all the words to say how much they truly mean to me and always will be in my heart. And as My Mother gets ready to leave this earth and go with my Dad and other family, I feel at peace. And that's because of how much these workers really enjoy what they do and it shows. I can't praise them enough. Thank You Julie, Mark, Joe, Ted and Ron. truly my new family

My lovely experience started at Bayshore community medical center, Dr fresco is my surgeon for the gastric sleeve. I spent my recovery on 2 west and my experience and care was top notch. I had the best experience, Natalia was a great nurse to me, thank you Bayshore.

I never throw the race card but if you have any melanin in your skin BEWARE YOU WILL BE MISTREATED.

Dr. Michael K (can t remember his last name) was lackadaisical and impersonal.

Nurse Sherry was dismissive, abrasive, and rude. She even berated the patient: you need to remember what we tell you and what medicines we give you and do a better job communicating to your family . Woah... such an inappropriate demand of a patient, especially of a patient who is confused, in crisis, and experiencing low blood sugar!

Nurse in charge, Germaine, aka GG is more concern about protecting her nurse staff than she is caring about the patient. She did not care to address appropriate patient and patient family s concerns. GG even went as far to punish the family by moving the patient into a different room (one where family was not allowed to visit) without providing explanation as to why she was moving the patient! And then when asked if we could see the patient before being transferred she said NO and walked away without any explanation.

On top of poor nurse support, disrespect, and lack of communication...

One of the security guards, John or Michael had the audacity to tell my mother You should be in the crisis unit . How dare he say something so harsh to the wife of a crisis patient! So distasteful, rude, and downright mean. Fortunately the security manager, Chris Duncan listened to our complaints and said he would speak to his staff member. The staff member needs to be reprimanded and retrained.

So if you are DYING and have no where else to go, then sure go to Bayshore. BUT if you can go anywhere else I highly recommend it.

Please note not all the staff at Bayshore are rotten.
There were some kind nurses and doctors such as a Nurse Lauren, who was caring and compassionate. Nurse Stephanie ( I believe that was her name) who was very helpful! And Dr. Wu who truly did seem sorry when he apologise for some of the staffs behaviour and the terrible long wait.

Please know that we, Dr.& Mrs. Randy Gulkis are experiencing unbelievable and excellent care here at Bay Shore. The staff of nurses in the ICU is way above professional, pleasant, courteous and hard working. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed. It is because of your doctors, Dr. Kahn, Dr. Younan, and the rest of his team that he came back to us. It was touch and go there for awhile. We are amazed at what fabulous care my husband has received thus far. We wanted him immediately out of here and transported to Jersey Shore Hospital when he was able to be transported. We have remained because you your surprisingly high level
of professionalism and expertise.
I would be remiss not to mention the wonderfully attentive and compassionate team of Patient Expetience team headed by Mark. Dee was here the night we came in devastated by the knowledge of the severity of my husband's heart attack. She had such patience, compassion and just a calming manner. She made us calmer in the worst moment of our lives.
You must be commended on the excellence this facility ans shown.
Thanks to everyone who participated in his care. They deserve a raise!!

I wanted to share a great experience I had at Bayshore. My daughter had a very high temp and we couldn t get it down so we decided to take her in. The nurses made her feel comfortable in her bed with a blanket and TV and juice. She ended up with the flu and glad we got checked out in a place where they could have treated her if it was more serious. We were in and out in little over 1 hour with a prescription.

Upon checking out the hospital ambassador Mark gave my daughter a teddy bear and made her feel good. I would recommend this hospital to all my friends and family.

I had a wonderful experience at BMC 3N(surgical floor) all the staff are kind and always ready to help. Special thanks to the nurses that took care of me during my stay- Tamara, Catherine, Danielle and Mike! Thank you so much!!!

My husband was recently a patient there. Everyone was wonderful. He was on 2E and the nurses and PCT s could not be more accommodating and compassionate. Recommending this hospital is easy. Great place !! Can t thank them all enough.

2 East My Dad's been here for a few days , the care he has gotten is unbelieveable! Mark the patient rep awesome ! We've been in and out of this hospital the past year and he's done everything possible to accommodate us . All the staff here great ! Very professional , caring and friendly !

My hospital experience was outstanding from the ER estafania and on 2 west nursing Tamara and Sona made me feel safe and well informed. Cleanliness was spotless and Mark the the advocate was helpful and Pct Jackie was so caring and on top of my care , this is the hospital to go when in need

I would just like to say I meet a lot of great people at this hospital but a few stand out like doctor navi she is one of the most caring person I've ever met and of course their is Mark he is a wonderful person and their are others but a great hospital overall

Wonderful staff in ICU. Every single staff member was just as caring and professional as the next. Made my stay about as good as I could ask for.

I would like to start by recognizing the amazing ER staff at BMC. From the welcome ambassador, Carla, to the immediate attention my wife was given by the ER staff. The nurses (Maribel, Christina, Adriano, Aimee and Gigi) went above and beyond to help make her as comfortable as possible. Dr. Van Pelt was the ER physician on, he actually sat in the room with my wife and discussed her catscan results in depth. The patient care technicians, Freddy and Emily, were very helpful in supplying blankets and aiding the nurses with transporting back and forth. My wife unfortunately required an admission as inpatient, however, the time from the ER to the room on 2 North was quick and efficient. The 2 North staff was welcoming (Linda, Peggy, Josie, Chi Chi and Holly) and checked in frequently to see if we needed any assistance, even the 2N manager (Patty) came to check in. Steven, Jessica and Lynda, RN's were pleasant and communicated very well and included us in my wife's care. Mark, the patient advocate was amazing, he brought my wife magazines and books to keep her mind preoccupied and even brought flowers, he checked in daily to see if he can be of any assistance and was there in a heart beat if need be. We had a great experience at this hospital.

I went in Monday morning out around 6 o clock with very painful stomach cramps. Turns out I had to have my gallbladder removed. Dr. Greco was amazing. I was in and out the same day. Nurse Cathy that s so sweet and helpful she gave me graham crackers and peanut butter which to me was like gold after not eating at all. They have such a wonderful team and the hospital has really done a complete 360! Thank you to all the nurses and staff

Had a wonderful experience at Bayshore hospital while I was hospitalized for 2 days. The staff is amazing. Always very attentive to their patients. The bariatric center at Bayshore is one of the best. Dr.Greco and his team are amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Thanks for the amazing care offered to my family during a difficult time from the Er with Dr Brennessel and Mary the nurse. We then met assistant manager Aaron and nurse Jen and Michele the pct ,Mark from Patient experience always keeping us updated and the physical therapist team for all their dedication. THANK YOU for making my family all calm and informed during a hard time .

No hospital stay is positive because it is a bad time in you life however I am in 4 south and everyone here has been super helpful! They have made a difficult situation much easier for me!!!

Got my surgery done here with Dr. Greco and he s amazing. Not to mention the staff and nurses on 2 West, who played a big part in my post-surgery care were nothing less than GREAT. I would especially like to thank my nurses Vanessa and Felicia for keeping me comfortable. And I can t forget Mark the patient advocate for the extra motivation and kind words. This is definitely a hospital I ll recommend to my friends and family who s looking to get surgery done.

How can I even begin, I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day here after being admitted via the ER and and then having a week stay at 2 North and I can only say great things about ALL of the staff. From the doctors to the nurses to the patient advocate to the people who dropped off food and the housekeepers. Everyone was attentive, gracious and professional. They went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you for my care and my improved health, I am forever grateful and will never forget you all!

My family and I have spent some time this past year at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel NJ and have experience only good things. The doctors, nurses, techs, clerical etc. have been nothing but kind, supportive and caring. Thank you all for making our visits there as comfortable as possible.

I ve been a patient on 2 west at Bayshore Hospital. I ve had wonderful care. The nurses in pre surgery we re all exceptional. My Dr Greco was the best. My anesthesiologists was excellent and very personable. On 2 west the nurses were very attentive Mike, Donti and Tamara always there to help. Lastly I give Mark Morrison 5 stars for his pep talks and inspiration....I also had the best roommate

Same day surgery quick and informative, travel to come here we pass 3 hospitals to come here. Concierge Cheryl is terrific so impressed.

(4th floor, West wing) Can honestly say the staff at this hospital are wonderful! I have been in over 20 different hospitals. (We travel for work) This is the ONLY hospital that has made us feel like a human & that the staff really cares about you. In the past we have had 1 or 2 "nice" people per hospital visit, if we were lucky. This hospital flips that on its head. EVERYONE IS SO NICE & you can tell they CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS. I honestly didn't think a "caring" hospital existed anymore. Idk how they hire or how they manage to find staff members who are so damn nice, caring, & good at their jobs, but kudos to you! This hospital has managed to do something that you just dont find anymore. Every other hospital should look to them on how to treat their patients. EVERY SINGLE staff member who entered our room while we were there, were absolutely awesome!!! (1/29-2/2 Room 409A)

Could not ask for a better hospital experience, Dr Greco and his team were phenomenonal. My stay on 3north was behond my expectations, from nurse Divine and Jesebel and pct Iggy and jesus and cliff to Mark from patient experience. I felt like family which made me feel assured that i was in good hands. Also cant forget concierge, and infectious disease doctor to the housekeeping .

I go here for my bloodwork. They are fantastic they open early in the morning are very professional and it s a nice clean sterile hospital environment. I m usually in and out in 15 minutes depending on how many people are waiting. I will never go to one of those chain lab places again. If you sign up for there web portal you will have your results online in a few days.

I was a bariatric patient on 2 west and I had the best experience with the staff. Especially my surgeon Dr. Greco and his assistant Lujan cristin and Karen from food and nutrition was very helpful.mark from patient relations was the absolute best, he gave me a journal to write and keep my progress. He truly cares about the patient and reassures them that this is gonna be your best life. Tamara the nurse from 2 west was amazing and stayed on top of my fluid intake and me walking and my pain control . Best experience ever and I will recommend everyone who wants to have bariatric surgery to have it here.

I had the best experience in Bayshore hospital 3 north side. I come from Newark ni and all I can say is this has been the best experience ever, never seen a hospital so organized with such good people. Dr Greco has been the best doctor I ve ever had in my life all my nurses have been taking care of me. Again thank you so much for the way dr Greco and his staff nurses toke care of me. My experience on tele and 2west and Er and OR phenomenal could not ask for better care experience considering the condition I was in . EVERYONE from EVS to nursing to medical was amazing and the support staff from Mark from patient experience and the nurse namamagersvand all so supportive. Thank you

I unfortunately have to yet again write a complaint about Bayshore Community Hospital. This is my third time having to visit this hospital in a year and for the third time my family and I have had a horrible experience. The staff at this hospital is unprofessional, including the secretary Andrea whom laughed when I was asking her questions about my mother who was a patient in the emergency room. She actually laughed and when I asked her why she was being rude and laughing she just kept saying "Hold on, hold on" really loud over me and put me on hold. For a secretary in a place such as a hospital I cannot believe her attitude. I myself work in health care and could not believe the things I was witnessing and even overheard. I overheard the nurses who entered my mothers room after she had a episode making unprofessional comments. I am convinced that Bayshore Hospital is giving Meridian Health Company a very bad reputation. I have been to Riverview for myself as well as for family members/friends and have never been unsatisfied or uncomfortable and in shock as I am every single time I am in Bayshore. Unprofessional staff members are always in companies, but for a company that prides itself on exceptional service, this facility is a disgrace. I pray to never have to visit again and will always (as I have in the past) recommended (if possible) taking the extra couple of minutes to drive to Riverview because Bayshore is unbelievable. I am disgusted and as I write this I know many others feel the same.

My experience on 3 East was amazing the nurses and staff went above and beyond I started out with Joe and remained with Jenna Erin and Nicolette they were so attentive and truly caring. I've not had good experiences in the past however, after this experience I will completely recommend everyone coming back to experience the new Bayshore and amazing staff

I was in the ER about three years ago and it was terrible. I had a deep hatred for the ER staff and hoped karma would come back to visit them with a bat. I was recently sent back to there by my primary doc and it was totally different. Great and attentive staff. Last time I was stuck in a corner for 17 hours with rude and disgusting nurses who shouldnt work on cars, much less people. This time was much better. Awesome, attentive and friendly nurses and techs all around. The floor, 2West, was even better. Mary, Sarah, Vanessa, Tamara and Donti were great. Super friendly and informative. Mark the patient advocate made sure all was going ok. Even the housekeeping staff Ryan hooked us up with the temperature controls. The food service staff was very nice also, going out of their way to make sure I was getting food. Way better experience this time. Good job on improving it. I d come back if I broke something or got sick again.

I've been in and out of Bayshore in the last few Months. My Mother is very sick. There is one woman there named Lillian. Everytime I go, she is there. She works so hard. holding patients hands, guiding them to the bathroom. Always making sure Myself and my Mom are ok. Really truly an Angel!. Such a big heart. I wanted to say thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart we Love you!

Over the past 5 days, so far, I have been a patient at Bayshore Medical Center. Starting from my first stop at the emergency department, through my current stop on 2E & 2W, I have had an extremely favorable experience. The staff as a whole has been knowledgeable, helpful, thorough and considerate. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and assist in any way possible. In particular, I feel I must recognize Daniella, Danielle, Samantha, Joan, Tamara and the rest of the wonderful staff. (I m sorry I can t remember everyone by name.) A special thank you to Laurys for her help.

As an update, my discharge was seamless and I must also recognize Sona and Jess for the excellent nursing care/discharge.

The doctors there we're extremely courteous and very understanding of my time constraints and that I had to be out by a certain time to pick up my daughter from and very willing to work with me the best they could 2 accurately treat me and get me on my way. I have been there a couple of times unfortunately and have had no complaints. I would definitely return there if I needed emergency medical treatment.

Melissa on 3North is a wonderful nurse, came to help my husband and she wasnt even his nurse.
Also Mark Morrison is something special, just spent the last 30 mins with my husband and I. The hospital is lucky to have him.

He is one of the most caring doctors with a bedside manner to match. His expertise has made my journey very positive. My night nurse Davine who I have had the last 2 nights has been wonderful as well. All of the nurses, techs and housekeeping have been so nice and helpful during my stay.

Thanks to Bayshore Medical Center , my life has changed for the better ! The Bariatric group is so amazing, and if I had the change to recommend anyone I will do! staff is incredibly specially on floor 2 East xoxo! Keep doing your thing guys... THE BEST

When I arrived at the hospital I was extremely ill and everyone from the emergency room to every single nurse doctor, surgeon, everybody that I met has been the best!Impeccable workers! . Bayshore is a fantastic hospital and my nurse Sona and Mark Morrison, I love you guys you ,make being in hospital so much better and Bayshore just continu ally gets better and better and I can't say one bad thing about it THANK you so much for everything and I would recommend Bayshore sure to everyone!!!

I was recently admitted at Bayshore Medical Center (727 N Beers St, Holmdel, NJ 07733), Wing Side, 2 west from July 20, 2019 till July 23, 2019. My experience there was amazing. Upon arrival, I was scared, in pain, and filled with so much anxiety before understanding what was wrong with me! After arrival, from the emergency department leading all the way to my admitting (at 2 west) and discharged day, I was treated with so much care and comfort! All the doctors, nurses and staff members really took their time with me and worked really hard to make all resources possible to help me in every which way they could to make me feel as good and brand new as I feel today (I feel great)! Bayshore Medical Center even went as far as making (not one) but several home check up calls after being discharged to see how I was feeling and to make sure I was following up with any/all my follow up appointments! I most definitely trust Bayshore Medical Center with my life. I HIGHLY recommend this hospital to everyone! Thank you doctors, nurses and all staff members at 2 west for taking the best of care of me!

Today marks one week since my mother in law was fighting for her life at Bayshore s Intensive Care Unit. I wanted to thank those who went above and beyond to help my mother in law Joe, Kate, and Marlene in ICU! I also wanted to thank 2 East nurses Sol, and Kristen. The nurses here are exceptionally caring and knowledgeable! We spent nights and all day at this hospital and the care that me and my husband got was also was great! Thank you Dee for all you do, you helped comfort me and my husband! A million thank you s to Mark! We couldn t of felt more loved and cared about! Mark is a amazing man who goes above and beyond! One thing for sure is the food at Bayshore is amazing as well!!!! The food always helps when your not feeling!! Thank you Bayshore!!! My mother in law is home and healthy!!!

I ve come here a few times and every time I come it gets worse. Working as a healthcare professional myself I can honestly say the staff here is horrific. The nurses I encountered were so absolutely rude I am shocked they still are employed. If you want healthcare spare yourself the extra 15 mins and drive to riverview, at least they can get things done.

Just wanted to let you know the staff has been awesome, I have been here for a week at 2 west & I want to give a big shout out to lauren who was my nite nurse. She was outstanding, compassionate & made me feel so much better. Just loved her & so did my family & friends, she deserves alot of recognition

Went in for an outpatient surgery urogram retrograde. Everyone from my Dr Rizkala to all of the anesthesiologists, nurses, aides, and Lenny the transporter were looking out for my best care and interests.

My daughter came to Bayshore yesterday with severe abdominal pain, later to find out she needed to have her appendix removed. I was anxious to know my daughter needed surgery but the care and attention she has received is phenomenal. I am grateful for her nurse Tamara E. in 2 west! She is knowledgeable and caring and went above and beyond to check in multiple times and contact the physician promptly when my daughter needed additional medicine. In addition to the nursing staff, Mark Morrison the Patient Experience ambassador is incredible! I have met him before during my own stay and I remembered how attentive and compassionate he was. He truly is such a valuable asset to any team, Bayshore is lucky to have him. Mark spent time with our family, making sure to answer every and all question we had as well as asking anything we needed. In a difficult situation, we couldn t have asked for a better experience!

Mark Morrison is Bayshore s hidden treasure and the reason we will continue to come back to Bayshore Medical. Let me tell you why.

When I brought mom to the ER at Bayshore, they attended to her as quickly as possible, but as with most ER rooms the wait was long and uncomfortable. The next day they brought her up to a room in 4 East and she spent the next couple of days in a lot of pain and discomfort. She was miserable and so were we. Over the next couple of days she seemed to get worse so I tried speaking to the nurse to find out what was happening and all she would say is that the doctor had already spoken with mom in the morning and since it was the weekend, there weren t many doctors around. I asked to call a doctor and she told me that it would be better to wait until Monday. Mom was in too much pain to wait two days to speak with a doctor! I felt like we were going around in circles, not knowing what was wrong with her and what the next step would be. I do understand that each nurse is inundated with similar requests and mom is just another patient to them, but this is my mom who works serving patients for a living and would do anything in her power to make them as comfortable as possible.

In my frustration, I started to read reviews about the hospital and wondered if I had made a mistake in bring mom to Bayshore. Throughout the reviews I kept coming across so many positive remarks about a Mark Morrison and wondered if he really existed. Then on the 3rd day, a man came in to see my mom s bedmate and I heard how happy she was to see him and she called him Mark. And that s when our experience at Bayshore changed dramatically!

I had no intention of ever returning to Bayshore Hospital, but thanks to Mark, I would happily return to Bayshore for the care of a family member under Mark s supervision. He has totally changed my perception of Bayshore and it s staff. Mark is the shining star at Bayshore. He has made my family s experience pleasant, comfortable, he s kept us well informed, has made all the right connections for us. Mark checked in on Mom to see what she needed. Mark is the perfect example of how to service your clients so they get into the right frame of mind to heal. This is how people thrive and businesses excel. I am so impressed with Mark, that I will be telling everyone I come across.

Mark works with an excellent team of professionals and caring individuals and I want to give them the credit. My apologies if I ve missed someone.

There is the incredible Chef Joe Leroy who took out the time to make a special meal for mom to bring a smile to her face despite the pain she was in...and he personally delivered it. Dr. Cunningham helped mom rule out any other issues that might exist and he did it was compassion and was very communicative. Dee, the ER Patient Rep, stepped in to help mom when Mark wasn t available - thank you Dee! Bianca, the night nurse and Greta were fantastic, professional, kind, helpful and attentive to my moms needs. Noel, the NP, was wonderful and communicated directly with me and made sure my concerns were addressed. Catalina and especially Patricia were both little angels for mom and ensured she had all the home comforts like a sponge bath, a midnight snack, extra ice packs, cold ice water amongst many other things. There is nothing they wouldn t do to make mom comfortable - thank you ladies. The concierge lady, Carol, was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind, gentle hearted, generous and wanted to do anything to make mom feel a little more at home and gave her a little trinkets like deodorant, ear plugs and sleeping mask. The occupational therapist, Flash was tough, but she was great! She encouraged and helped my mom to get out of bed and walk with a walker and gave her back her mobility. Kate Lewis, mom s social worker, was just the right person to help her transition to a Rehab facility. Kate, thank you for taking the time to speak with me today and helping mom.

A heartfelt thank you to you all. You ve all made a difference in our lives.

I am at the 4th tele floor, all the nurses and techs are so terrific, no problems at all, they are all very professional and kind, I came in through the ER and the staff there were also terrific. I am very happy with my experience here.

I am staying in 2 east at bayshore medical. Had bariatric surgery by dr Greco. The best bariatric team around. Besides dr Greco being great. Suzanne from his team has been fantastic from start to finish making my experience stress free. The whole staff at bayshore was great. Wish I could remember everyone s name. But mark and Jackie stand out. Mark is the patient advocate who was helpful and caring. N Jackie was part of nursing team who took great care of me.

The hospital staff, from admissons to discharge, coordinated and provided a pleasant hospital experience. The nursing, support staff, and doctors were outstanding.

I just want to let it be known that Bayshore Medical center has definitely upgraded its facility. My grandmother was what you may call a very "difficult patient" she was elderly, and often in pain, two symptoms that made treating her a very hard task. The doctors that worked with her were patient and knowledgeable. They treated her with respect and I will always be grateful for that. I will say the hospital was spotless and even the quality of the food improved. lastly , I want to mention the non- medical employees such as the lovely lady who use to clean my grandmothers room. she always did a great job of sterilizing the room with a smile and a short conversation even bringing her flowers one time. Then there was an outstanding gentlemen in the administrative department. Our family will always be grateful to him for doing such a great job of making not only my grandmother but my entire family feel good. He always called her by first name and checked in on her every shift he worked. When things got bad he comforted our entire family.
I wish Bayshore Medical the best of luck in the future and I am glad we now have a hospital of this caliber in the area. I will definitely be recommended them to my friends and family in the future.

The patient care at this hospital is exceptional. While my mother was in surgery the concierge, Cheryl, kept my father updated and comfortable - so much better than most hospitals where you are left pacing the hallways wondering what is happening with your loved one. My mother was well cared for and checked on constantly by caring and friendly staff. And there is free valet parking to boot!

My mother was discharged today after a long three weeks on 2 North. I can t even begin to tell you how well cared for my mother was! Every member of the nursing staff went above and beyond to care for mom mentally and physically. The dietary staff also went above and beyond and the food was fabulous and they catered to all of moms dietary needs!! I also have to say bayshore is extremely clean I was very impressed. I also have to thank Mark Morrison for always cheering my mom up!! Mark is a bright light for patients and family members a truly beautiful person!!! A heartfelt thank you to everyone at bayshore!!!

I just left 4 south after a 2 night 3 day stay and I cannot say enough about how amazingly attentive and helpful the nurses and assistants were during my time there. They answered any questions I had and were really encouraging especially my night nurse Lauren and Mark from patient advocacy. I would recommend Bayshore to anyone!

The Nurses and Patient Care Associates in 3E are providing outstanding care for my mom who suffered a stroke and can t communicate. They are extremely attentive to her needs, keep her very clean and communicate with the family constantly. We don t have to ask what s up when we visit, they seek us out with updates. Mark, Patient Ambassador, had a little birthday celebration for me knowing I was there all day on my birthday which not only made me very happy, but made my mom smile and clap as well.

I know I m missing names and maybe misspelling some but, Thank You Mark, Diana, Meagan, Meghan, Cait, Kayla, Nicolette, Annie and the entire 3E team!

About a week and a half ago my mom was sent to the ER experiencing symptoms of difficulty breathing and weakness in her legs. How many tests were administered in the ER but we re coming back negative thankfully. But one young doctor, Dr. Brennessel, came into my moms room and said based on her age and symptoms I am not comfortable with these negative test. I need to run one more and I will not leave when my shift is over until I make sure I find out what s going on. After that one more test that he ran he came in to tell us he found a pulmonary embolism in her right lung. Had he not examined her further, someone else may have discharged her. But because of this wonderful doctor, my mom is alive and getting stronger each day I just want to say a very warm and appreciative thank you, to Dr. BrenEdsel For going above and beyond what he was to do that day.

I stayed at Bayshore at the end of June. I came to the emergency room with pain and was told my gallbladder needed to be removed. This was on a Thursday. I came to the ER around 2pm and was admitted and given a room around 11pm that night. I stayed in room 217. The care I received from the nurses was amazing and I cannot say enough good things about the nurses on staff especially Caroline and Steven. My less than satisfactory rating is because of the communication within the hospital, especially between the doctors and from doctors to nurses. There was question of whether I needed to have an ERCP procedure prior to having my gallbladder removed. I was taken for an MRI which was inconclusive. The GI doctor came to my room to tell me that depending on the results on my bloodwork/liver enzymes would determine if I needed ERCP prior to surgery. This was on Friday late afternoon. Saturday morning I was given bloodwork around 5am. By 11am I had heard nothing and no one came to speak to me. I called a nurse in to ask if anyone had an update and she said I was going into surgery at 1pm (2 hours later). I had no idea my surgery was scheduled until I asked.. The nurse was confused as to why no one had come talk to me to let me know. I asked how it was decided that I was having surgery first instead of an ERCP and no one was able to answer that question. The nurses also did not have any knowledge of the possible need for an ERCP because nothing was left in their notes by the doctors. I was given surgery and asked that someone please call my husband afterward due to the no visitor policy due to Covid. I was told by the doctor he would call. No one called my husband after my surgery and he had to call the hospital multiple times to find out my status. After my surgery my liver enzymes continued to climb so it was now decided I did need an ERCP procedure after all. I understand that due to an inconclusive MRI the doctors had to make a judgement call. but I felt my entire stay that the doctors were not communicating to the nursing staff and amongst each other. When I was neglected to be told I was on the schedule for surgery I was actually panicked for a few moments as I was alone in the hospital with no family able to come see me and felt I was not being given important information. I cannot stress how great the nurses were to me, but I would not stay again at Bayshore if I had a choice due to lack of communication.

My stay at the 3 North wing after my Bariatric surgery has been amazing. Every staff member that I've come in contact with since I got here, has been beyond friendly, helpful and encouraging. I can't imagine being able to get through all of this without their constant support and great attention to care. I'm so thankful I choose Bayshore medical center to hslave my surgery, and would recommend them to my friends and family. Just off the top of my head, I'd like to thank Natalia, Divine, Meetah, Jesebel, and everyone else in the 3 North wing. Seriously, I couldn't thank you ALL enough.

And a special HUGE thank you, to Mark Morrison, from customer relations. You have put my mind at ease with your story, all your encouragement, and positive attitude. The journal will be well used and full before I know it.

I came in to Bayshore for DKA. I really can t say enough about how this hospital has changed. From the staff to the food everything has been excellent. The past two days I have had Caitlyn and Melissa taking care of me and they were awesome. They definitely helped me make the best of one of the worst possible situations.

Do not go here. We brought my dad in a few weeks ago because he was having chest pains. As he was visibly in agony in a wheelchair the receptionist was on his phone texting, not making eye contact. The other woman next to him was also oblivious to what was going on. My father was in extreme pain and they obviously did not care and did nothing to show that they were caring. After almost 45 minutes of waiting, they finally sent someone out to check on him because his pain was almost at a 10. They finally gave my father a room, but an hour later of waiting he still got no pain medication. The staff were also extremely rude to my daughter. She went out to ask a nurse for pain medication and they yelled at her. There were also patients on stretchers waiting in the hallway. There was so much confusion among the nurses an everyone was extremely disorganized. Our doctor was friendly and so were the nursed in the overnight stay area but other than that, everyone else in the building was mean, disorganized, and uncaring

Everyone that was involved was very caring and professional. I felt they did everything they could to make me comfortable and at ease.
