Just had bariatric surgery with Dr. Greco (he is amazing) and had excellent care on 2 West. My nurses Kitt and Merilyn were very informative, sweet, and professional. You can definitely tell that nursing is their passion. They both took their time explaining everything and made me feel very comfortable. I was then greeted by Mark Morrison, Patient Advocate and he is truly the epitome of what Bayshore Medical Center stands for, excellent patient experience. He does everything with heart and passion. Mark eased my fears and gave my family and I a journal that states I have the power to create change where one can document your journey with transformation pictures of yourself. I absolutely love it and highly recommend everyone to go to Bayshore Medical Center to receive quality health care with a personal touch.

My mother was taken care of in 2 East. First off we want to thank Dr. Greco for being the best doctor to her! Also we want to acknowledge Filomena and Tamara who went above and beyond on getting her back on her feet. I am currently a patient in your facility. I arrived to the ED in rapid afib having chest pain and was greeted by your amazing ED staff and Dr Yu. Although I am an RN, I was thinking strictly as a patient and was terrified as I knew I needed a cardioversion. Dr Yu was patient, kind, caring and assured me things would be ok. The staff was supportive and stayed right by my side through the whole procedure and after. Although not initially successful, I did finally convert to sinus rhythm. I can't thank Dr. Yu and your staff enough for the kindness they showed me. You must be so proud to have such a wonderful staff in your ED. The excellence in care followed me up to my room. My doctors were wonderful. Dr. Parhar has been my doctor for years and I don't know what I would do without him Dr. S Younan has also been wonderful over the years. It is great to know that I can get the best care when I go to Bayshore Medical Center.

I have been in Bayshore for 6 days now. I am on 3 East. The nursing staff and coordinators have all been absolutely amazing. Call bells answered immediately, kind, great bed side manner. Respectful. The entire stay here has been very comforting and beneficial to my recovery. They have been working on my discharge planning and home care to assist me for when I am released. Best hospital experience. Dietary department has also been very accommodating. The nursing staff and techs are always right there to help you.

Had to take my wife there today. Everyone was very courteous. We were tended to very quickly. All the staff were very friendly & accommodating. We would definitely return if we had another emergency.

My partner was in the care of the nurses on 3 North. I am very happy with the care and consent positivity they showed towards her while she was recovering. All the nurses were straight forward and knew exactly what to say. All the nurses were great, but Jesebel stood out the most and was a positive light. Thank you also to Dr. Greco who kept me informed and up to date the whole time. I am very happy with the whole staff for bringing comfort to my partner while recovering.

I went to Bayshore Hospital to have pre-op texting done at the radiology department. I checked in, sat for 5 minutes, was called into X-ray. 5 minutes later I was on my way home.
Great service from the entire staff whom I had encountered.

I m going to be honest I don t even know where to start. I am at 3 North Bayshore I just had the gastric sleeve done by Dr. Greco. His team is AMAZING! I knew from the first day when I came for my consultation that this is where I wanted to have my surgery. The bariatric team Susan my nutritionist everyone is so caring and wants the best for you. They are there to answer any questions you have no matter how small at all hours of the day. On the day of surgery everyone is super nervous but you walk in and your nurses are waiting with a friendly smile and make you feel so comfortable. After surgery again all my nurses are amazing. They help me with the smallest of things to pain management to encourage me to walk. I cannot rave about my experience any more it s hard to put into words how much I appreciate everything that they ve done.

Awesome staff here at Bayshore medical center. Stayed within the 2N wing and everyone here was very helpful. If I ever needed anything it was a quick response from one of the patient care associates or the rn s. Thank you so much for the quality care!

I m a patient on 2 west and I have to say me experience here is just amazing I wasn t expecting to be here to long but since I am all the patient care associates and nurses have treated me with amazing care they made me feel at home and comfortable staff is just amazing wouldn t mind being treated here again. I just wanted to drop a note and say thank you for the amazing service and care my family received while my grandmother was there. At the early age of almost 101, lol, it was her time to go... all of the family knew it was her time but like they say ...its hard to say good-bye. I must commend everyone we met because every single person in this facility only had the kindest words for us. I have tried to remember every single person but if I miss anyone I apologize. From all the nurses on 2 North to 3 East ..Abigael specifically on 3 East..along with her manager Ashley Iannone to the palliative care/hospice help and advice from Ellen Davis and Ronnie.. your kind words and thoughts were there just when we needed them. Thank you to Ted Zinn for checking in on us and making sure we were fed and taken care of the coffee did wonders. Mark Morrison for his kind heart and caring words. He was always there for us with anything we needed. He was a true god sent in a tough time . Mark as even checked on us since my grandmothers passing and these are the things that truly set this hospital apart from others. I can not thank everyone enough.. I wish you all the best THANK- YOU

My grandmother was well taken care of 3East good floor amazing people couldnt say anything bad the nurses , staffs and dietary very very amazing they always make sure everything is ok highly recommend this hospital !!!!!

I'm on 2East and the people are so helpful. Dr Greco was amazing. My surgery was quick and painless. My overnight nurse daniella was extremely nice and helpful. Everyone was very attentive.

Everyone from the admitting nurse in the ER to the doctors, nurses, aids, and transport have been phenomenal. Everyone has been attentive, kind, and supportive. Floor 3E - Kate & Jenna have been taking amazing care If my husband. I couldn t have asked for a better group of people to be watching out for him. My name is Rick Mc Govern and my wife is Laura McGovern an RN on 2 North. My farther came into the emergency room on August 15th. No buddy knew that this was Laura's father-in-law. The emergency room staff was excellent, professional & treated my father as if he were their father . The staff at Bayshore Hospital has been outstanding! When moved up to 3 North the excellent care continued. When my father was moved to 2 North to the amazing staff that my wife is so proud to work with, were without hesitation the best of the best. In closing the staff that I encountered during my dad's visit were professional, caring, spoke with compassion, were excellent in their care of my father and the other patients. If there is such a thing as a 5 Star Care Award then these doctors, ER team, OR team, techs, people who move patients from one floor to another & most of all the back bone of every hospital, the NURSES. The technician that did my ultrasound was wonderful, sweet and patient. She took her time and I felt well cared for.

Now for the negative...if you come in as a cash pay patient, make sure your receipt has ALL procedure codes BEFORE you leave the hospital. I have been trying AND trying, phone call after phone call to get a receipt with procedure codes and still no help. They suck at helping you once they take your money!!! Good luck if you need anything from them once you leave.

The staff on 2 west were excellent I didn t have to ring for much because Karen, Danielle and Felicia checked on me all the time.I would like to give a big thanks to Mark for taking the time out to speak to me and tell me all about his life changing journey that made me feel so confident.I ve been in and out of hospitals for many years due to my diabetes and I have never received this kind of care and it means so much to me.I also want to thank the pct Nino,Reggie,Jackie for all of their help and kindness Donti made my last day here wonderful he is a funny gentleman with a great Since of humor continue the good work.Thanks again Felicia Jones.

From check in through procedures all was handled very well

Around 1:00am in the morning I felt severe stomach pain and started to vomit profusely. I thought I had food poisoning and knew I had to go to the ER which I dreaded. I arrived at Bayshore and was greeted with a sense of urgency, warmth and concern. I was taken to the back immediately and was attended to with kindness, compassion and professionalism. I truly thought I was going to be treated like a thing on a factory conveyor belt but wasn't. The nurses and doctors where thorough and instead of taking my word for it as being food poisoning did several test. I found out that I needed my gallbladder removed, yikes!!!!! My experience was exceptional even though I was in pain. I was comforted and truly have never had an ER experience such as this one. The entire team front desk, nurses, doctors, even the young ladies that did my registration and the professionals that did the testing should all be commended. They are all a shining example of how everyone should be treated when going to the ER from beginning to end. Thank you so much for helping this experience to be as pleasant as possible. It's still a mind blowing experience that I share with everyone I know.

Recently my mother was a patient at Bayshore hospital . I can not say enough good things about the care and love she had received . I d like to thank the staff in icu and 2 east . I would also like to thank the food service staff for being so kind and helpful to my mothers needs . A.really big thank to Mark Morrison and Ted zinn who not only do there jobs above and beyond of what there supposed to do but for making my mother feel like family the love they showed my mother warms my heart . It was nice to know on the days I could not visit I didn t have to worry because I knew she had family there it is such an incredibly amazing feeling to know that all these people care so much .Thank you to everyone at Bayshore

Loved it having surgery on March 21 they made sure that tests were done nutrition was met and that the mental health was there as well. Can't say enough

Everyone seems to have a great experience. I have been questioning the doctors that are supposed to be caring for me as a patient should be. Its been eight days that I have been admitted made a complaint on one doctor now all doctors are against me. Like why? Aren t we here for a reason to be under the right care?

I truly felt it was my duty to acknowledge what a fantastic experience I had at Bayshore Medical Center here in Holmdel. I just wrapped up my 3rd visit in about a month at this facility dealing with my injured ankle and eventual surgery. From top to bottom the customer service stood out whether it was the receptionist at the intake, to the nurses, to the patient care associates, doctors, surgeons, customer care advocates, and last but not least the maintenance staff! They were all so kind, personable, and very hospitable. You can tell all involved take pride in what they do and how they do it. I was admitted into 2 West as I waited for my procedure and came across several people who exhibited all the aforementioned characteristics above. So many names I could thank and it's unfortunate I will undoubtedly miss a few but every one of the staff deserves all the credit in the world for making a tough ordeal more than manageable and even pleasant. Thank you to Kit, Samantha, Donti, and Morgan for their kindness and attentiveness to any and every need I had. Thank you Mark, my patient advocate for taking several opportunities to just talk and make sure my experience was top notch and it was! I cant say I personally want to come back as that would mean another injury but I will certainly reccomend to any and all of my family and friends should the need arise! Thanks again everyone! I have been to many hospitals in the area and i have to say Bayshore Medical center is the best, my mom is on 4south the nurse Steph, Sol and Cait were very caring and attentive . This has been an amazing experience from housekeeping to Mark Morrison the patient experience have been instrumental in all .

I had surgery 10/12/2020 and stayed 3 north. Dr.Greco is phenomenal you can truly see he cares about his patients! The staff and nurses day and night were so attentive! From the moment that I walked into the hospital, I was greeted by the cutest nurse named Betty who made me feel so welcomed during my preop. Then another nurse kept my mind occupied and put me at such ease before my surgery by sharing her own personal story about going through the same exact surgery I was about to endure. After a successful surgery, I did experience extreme gas pain. However, a kind nurse went above and beyond during my time in recovery by actually rubbing my shoulders to help alleviate some of the gas pain.

Once I was placed in 3 West, I received great care from the nursing staff which included the overnight nurse Daniella. They were beyond attentive because any time that I needed anything, the nursing staff made sure I got it immediately. Tamara s laugh was infectious.

Finally, one of the staff members that made the biggest impression on me during my time at the hospital was Mark. Mark was the patient advocate who checked on me every day to see how I was doing. He certainly lives up to his title at the hospital and I hope that he knows how much of a positive effect he had on me.

Bayshore medical center is a wonderful place to be at a time in need for any medical situation. The staff here is wonderful, caring, and supportive, Dr Srom and Dr Greco-so informative. Nursing on 3 north was excellent and caring and thanks especially to patient rep Mark for helping have all my needs answered, thanks to all.

I have had the most wonderful experience these last 2 days here on 4 East. I am young and was brought in for a very scary situation and the staff has been patient and attentive. Especially my day nurse Julia and my night nurse Mary... they have been wonderful. The chef Joe cooked me a special meal and fruit platter while my husband was visiting and it really helped relieve my stress. Even though the food service has already been wonderful,
it was a nice extra touch. While wondering what's going on with some of my care, Patient Experience Ambassadors Mark and Ron were right on top of everything and got my questions answered. Even the PCAs who checked my vitals were polite and gentle while I was finally sleeping! Very nice experience since I'm not usually the patient, I'd definitely come right back here if I had to.

Outpatient services were so quick and attentive! Highly recommend this facility for outpatient services. Christine Jordan at the desk was extremely kind and informative!

2west room 208 bed A. I am from Staten Island and I chose to come to jersey because of the quality of service compared to where I am from. My nurse Tamara and Sona I couldn t have asked for two better nurses to be by my side at a very rough moment in my life. They continuously checked on me and made sure I was ok. On the second day I met Mark and he has an aura about him that you just want to get to know and I can honestly say I can t wait to come back through out the next year and show him my progress and the journal he gave me I can promise I will fill out. Thank you for taking such good care of me during these two days I couldn t have asked for more

Very good experience with my elective surgery performed by doctor Richard Greco,Md. The entire experience was smooth. Kristen, Kit, Dante, Iggy and Magda(nurses in north 3 just to mention few) in Bayshore Meridian Health North 3 are very professional and great. They are very familiar with all the processes and required documents. Special thanks to Patient Experience Ambassador Mark Morrison , who made my stay in the hospital a pleasure. I will highly recommend Hackensack Meridian Health Bayshore Medical Center North 3 to all my friends and colleagues.

I cannot say enough about this Gem of a hospital and their awesome staff. I brought my daughter to the ED on Tues, she received awesome treatment from the staff and especially Dr. DoSantos and Irene Vieta, RN. Irene was a fierce advocate, a friendly, kind and knowledgeable nurse who treated my daughter with respect, dignity and kindness. Dr. DoSantos actually ROUNDED on each of his patients every 20 or so minutes. My dtr was then discharged home with oral antibiotics which unfortunately did not work and we had to return to the ED the next day. Unbeknownst to us she was becoming progressively worse and was admitted to the hospital. Dr. Ryan B. took over and has been a wonderful, kind, caring doctor for my daughter. (During her first night in ICU she was having respiratory issues and was panicking and he actually SAT with her in her room until she was calm (thought this only happened on Grey's Anatomy!) She was admitted to the 3rd floor where she was cared for by an angel named Alexa who works the 7P-7A shift. Her kind, caring warmth and compassion to my daughter during probably the worst night of our life cannot be emphasized enough. She is truly a nurse my daughter will never forget! Not a second passed if my daughter needed her that she was at the bedside. The morning shift brought us Karen who was like a second mother to my daughter. She informed us of every test, procedure, medication and was a constant presence at my daughter's bedside. As my daughter's condition deteriorated she was transferred to ICU where she once again was cared for by a wonderful staff of nurses including, Angela, Marisa, Naomi, Zenny and PCA Jessica, Melissa and forgive me if I didn't remember everyone's name it's been a worldwind! Dr. Awad is our savior! Respiratory therapists have been incredible, kind and informative! And I could never ever leave out the patient reps Dee and Mark! Every single day they checked on my daughter and our family and continue to do so! They have been a source of comfort, information, a shoulder to lean on and the hospital should be proud to have such wonderful ambassadors! We are still here as I write this review and I have no doubt I will have many more people to acknowledge because I have not met one person who has not been just the absolute best!

Im from out of town and the ER was normal until Coco his was so attentive and caring made me feel like a human not just a number. Coco was Constantly checking on me. He made my ER experience a good one!

Had to be admitted to 2 East and meet a gentleman named Mark Morrison. He was outstanding he took the time to listen to me and made me feel at home. Felt like I had a friend in the hospital that would take care of me. He was truly genuine and caring in heart and action.

Unfortunately I ve stayed in many hospitals but this hospital has spa like services. cheryl from concierges services was amazing.

Excellent care could not ask for better ! Even the food is delicious. 2 north is amazing and Stephen my nurse was the best .

I have been admitted into the hospital since Saturday night. My nurse in the emergency room was Nicole. She was excellent. Any question I had, she got an answer. She took great care of me. Once I got a room, I was sent to 217A, 2North wing. My daytime nurses are Joelle and Roseanne . They have been exceptional. I had alot of questions and Roseanne got me answers immediately. I couldn't ask for a better set of daytime nurses. My night nurse is Jess F. I can not say enough good things about her. Not only is she my nurse but she is now a friend. The two of us had conversations in the middle of the night which helped keep my mind off my problems. She is excellent. The staff here have been phenomenal.

Got really great and rather quick medical attention in the emergency Department on a very busy Friday night.

Recently I had to take my 89 year old dad to the emergency room. We were met by Dee ( ER Rep) . Right away she introduced herself and made sure we had everything as well as understood everything happening. Dee was so pro- active . She was on top of a situation before it developed. She was so compassionate to every patient and every family member in the very busy emergency room. I am so great full for all she does for everyone. Thank you Dee.

My dad Carlos Marrero was admitted the last week of October, My dad's experience and mine at Bayshore has always been excellent . Mark Morrison patient advocate has become part of our family. Mark would checked on dad everyday and kept me posted Mark is a wonderful person I also have to say the the nurse staff including maintenance crew were all very kind and thoughtful . My dad stayed at Bayshore was excellent we felt safe and secured I highly recommend Bayshore hospital....Blanca

My 94 year old mother had surgery at Bayshore Medical Center on Thursday 11/15. Dr. Nguyen was absolutely wonderful. I waited with my family in a very nice room where we were kept apprised of the status of her surgery at all times. Dr. Nguyen came out to tell us everything went well and we could go upstairs and see her. The nurses, staff, everyone on 2 East deserve awards for their exceptional care and hard work. I would recommend Bayshore Medical Center to anyone who is looking for a top-notch hospital.

Received very good and professional service on a late afternoon weekday here. Came in for a Doppler to check for blood clot in my leg. The technician was so relieving, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. I wish I could always have her as my tech everywhere I go. :-) There is a painting on the ceiling tile that I wish I could personally thank the woman who made it that used to work there. Seriously THANK YOU! When you have a chronic illness or are worried about your outcome, you can enjoy a beautiful hand painted picture of a beach with a bike, sand, blue waves, a white picket fence, and fluffy clouds. It was so relaxing. She made many for other rooms like a teddy bear for children's rooms. It's such a kind gesture in a moment where comfort is needed. I really really do appreciate her kindness and talent. <3 As a patient, I do wish they could go over pricing with you before you do a service so you know an estimate of what's to come in the mail after insurance is processed. So I can't speak on pricing yet. Service was quick, paperwork, triage did not take long and they have a process set up that's pretty easy to follow and the man and woman were pleasant & professional. The campus is beautiful and there is a lot of parking, even for large trucks. Though another hospital is much closer to me, I will be coming here for my hospital/ER needs.

My wife was a patient in 2 north rm 225. Exceptional nursing staff. Admitted through er Amy took great care of her. We went to 2 north, thew treated us so nicely, food services Brian, Ted and Mark could not have been more helpful. Thank you for Making her stay as comfortable as possible

I m here in the hospital on 2west everyone here has been amazing and nice . They have made my stay pleasant. Always asking if I need anything just ring the bell. Katie , Donti , Michelle made me smile when I was feeling little sad . But all in my stay was another great experience at Bayshore Hospital. And let s not forget Mark the patient rep who always makes you feel every well here and makes sure you have everything you need . That smile he gives just warms your whole soul and more.

My experience on 3 north has been excellent , Nurses JaJa Michele and Alex all were so caring And informative. Mark the patient advocate was resourceful and always on top of my needs , great communication and cleanliness was amazing . This is the best hospital !!

I was at Bayshore with my grandfather and it was a very hectic time for me and my family. We were so thankful for Concierge Cheryl. She was always a friendly and smiling face when we would come and go. And she was so informative when we had questions about the hospital and who to contact in regards to certain things. She genuinely cared when she asked how you were. It was always so nice to talk to her.

My husband was a patient in 3 north..he has had exceptional care from all of his nurses..but Angela really went above and beyond..her bedside manner and bubbly personality helped us thru a very difficult time.I knew if she was his nurse..I didn't have to worry.She is a true gem

I travel from Browns mills in south Jersey to come and its worth the drive. I love 2North . the student nurse Morgan that was with Tom Ringwood was amazing and informative as well nurse Kaitlyn. Everyone here is caring and Mark Morrison from patient experience was instrumental along with Manager of 2N Patty walker .

Icu care was excellent all responsive and attentive also the food was outstanding !

Thank you Dr Patel and ER staff..after a frightening disrespectful and abusive care at Raritan Bay I signed myself out. The welcoming at Bayshore was comfortable and the care was tremendous difference from staff ,to tone, to speed if care. I'm sorry I couldnt stay with Bayshore because of Pandemic . I potentially was to be transferred back to Raritan Bay . That was not an option and wouldn't send my worst enemy to Ratitan Bay.Dr Patel worked hard on my behalf to get me a bed at Riverview which also was a great experience vs Raritan Bay. Ty Dr Patel

I recently had VSG surgery in 3north. I m making a huge life decision I was happy I put my care in the hands of Dr. Greco. Suzanne was amazing during the before and after process. I also want to note that during my recovery nurses like Jesbel and Danielle are amazing and so very helpful.

This is to my favorite 2 west nurse named Lauren. To me she is the best nurse I've ever had, and always made sure I was feeling okay even if I was in alot of pain..thank you for making me feel wanted, I feel like ur the only person that understand me for who I am and I appreciate ur help through everything even though u were my nurse for 2 nights.
Hopefully when I come back to visit I'll be able to see you again.

As a patient in 2 North I could not have asked for better treatment. Everyone I met and or interacted with was top notch. Thank you.

You cannot ask for anything more then what the staff already provides. It's like a bunch of angels running around catering to your needs. I know I left my house in an ambulance, did I die and go to heaven?
4 Nurses that I had the pleasure of receiving their care are Jiun, Jess, Jessica, and Laura. I can't count how many times they phoned my doctors to adjust my meds when they weren't working...Thank you!
Michele B. the Personal Care Assistant went above and beyond her scope of work time and time again... Terry and Steve are another two that I'd like to share my appreciation with.
Then there's the food service..wthout them you would just starve. Lol. Joe Leroy's title needs to be changed to Chef! And his kitchen staff, Manal, Greg, Christie, and Annie the dietician who tried to fatten me up.
And now lets take a moment to recognize Mark 'the patient rep'. He's one individual that truly cares about the patients. I'm not trying to get anyone jealous, but he bought me a blanket... Yes a cozy, plush blanket for my skinny body..and frappuccinos.
Seriously, who would want to leave?
Now if you're a prior patient who has gripes and negative opinions about Bayshore Hospital, maybe you need to check yourself. I've heard countless times, less then civil patients taking their frustrations out on the staff. The employee's aren't your parent's nor did they put you in your current situation, cut them slack and take your issues up with God.

Emergency room was informative and empathetic and this continued to 2 north , this hospital reputation has totally changed to the better .

The team at 2 west is great. Amber and Katrina were so nice and patient with me. Suzanne is so great at lifting your spirits and the whole team cheers you on while you re trying to get your exercise in. I m glad I chose this team to take this big step. I know I m not alone.

This was the second time in less than a month that I had to be hospitalized. The entire staff at Bayshore Hospital ... from the cleaning staff right up to the Nurses and Technicians were incredibly attentive and professional. There was never a need that went unanswered ... no matter how small. Patient care is absolutely their priority. I am so very grateful for all they did for me.

I went in for a surgical procedure Tuesday the 28th of May. From the time I arrived, until the day when I left- everyone was so nice, and caring. The nurses Victoria, Ngovi, and Samantha were so thorough and thoughtful. The PCT's Donti, cliff, and Jesus also another young lady- they were all caring. I could tell they loved their job. I didn't see anyone angry and no one acted as if they didn't want to be there. It seemed like they all worked really well together. Everyone was amazing. I met a patient care advocate, whose name is Mark.

Mark went beyond his job duties. He had the same surgery I had. He was so empathetic and personable. He came to talk with me and honestly he helped me to look pass the pain to how I will feel in a couple of weeks. I'm gratful to have met him. He has a big heart towards everyone
I'm thankful for my experience at bayshore hospital. I forgot to mention Suzanne( the R.N. in the bariatric center) she was amazing. Also, I can't forget Dr. Richard Greco. If anyone is getting bariatric surgery I recommend him, or dr. Silva fresco. Their team works with excellence. I'm gratful for all of them. Thank all of you. I hope you all get a raise, or something that shows you that you're appreciated. One last thing- I want to thank the transportation people, they were awesome too. I was in room 211A west wing. Thanks to you all and the people who helped me with the swallow test. Everyone was so nice. Thank you all.

Nurses were awesome from start to finish .Dr Grecco was a wealth knowledge.3 north was outstanding

i am on. 2 west i stayed monday nite through tuesday over nite the nurse andrea and during the day nurse felicia were fantastick very happy to be there patient this hospital got so much better within the years of coming here.

This is definitely not the Bayshore of old. The hospital has transformed itself completely. Every single nurse , doctor, PCA food server and patient ambassador(mark) was so kind and caring. I can not say one negative thing about my stay on 2 north. Exceeded my expectations. I can t forget the ER staff especially my nurse Linda she was so caring and sweet.

Best hospital ever! Been there few different times not only for myself but for my little ones as well and had such a great experience. Everyone is so caring and loving, always there to help. Definitely recommend bay shore 100%!!!!

My stay at 2 North was nothing short of spectacular. I came here In excruciating pain but everyone from the surgeons, the doctors, the dialysis unit, the nurses all took part in taking care of me like no one else.The call bell response, the service and the pleasant, attentive, wonderful nurses are top notch. I don t want to jinx myself but this has been the best recovery experience ever.

I ve been here multiple times for my girlfriend who has a chronic condition. They ve invaded her privacy and lied to her. She s a fully competent adult capable of making her own medical decisions and they put a camera in her room against her will, without providing documentation that authorizes it after multiple requests. When we spoke to multiple managers about it and made it clear it she did not consent to it and it was medical treatment she was refusing, they told her they d turn it off and take it out. They turned it off for the night and then the next morning it was back on. I m contacting patient advocacy organizations, privacy advocates, reporters, lawyers, and trying to warn everyone about how this hospital treats patients. If this sounds unbelievable to you check out the photo and I have further proof.

The nurses are great - any nurses reading this shouldn t take it personally, but the hospital policies and care for privacy are atrocious.

Response to your reply- After we learned the camera was turned back on in the morning we offered them an opportunity to talk with us before escalating the situation, which was declined. Every time I saw someone talk to her about the privacy concerns it was in a condescending way. If you re happy with how you handled this situation and how she feels about it now, further shame on you.

pps - less than 3 days after she was discharged from this hospital we are back in the ER. This time we went to Saint Peters in New Brunswick and she is getting much more individual care and attention from doctors and medical staff (who are also treating her like the competent adult she is, imagine that).

I had a great experience in 2 East after my procedure. The nurses, staff and doctors were incredibly patient and understanding. The environment was neither loud nor bothersome so I slept like a baby! I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone who's considering surgery.

Thank you to the Patient experience department for going above and beyond to make sure my moms stay was a good one. Thanks Mark and Joe for all your help !!!! You really know how to take care of your patients!! Kudos!

Amazing staff, who make all the difference especially Mark Morrison who takes exceptional care of his patients.

I was there today with my family member and the radiology nurse Jen Lovey was attentive and patient and informative ! My Aunt was so comfortable that she will now only come to Bayshore Medical Center .Ask for Jen Lovey she will make you feel at ease !!!

My mom has been at Bayshore for the last week and has received amazing treatments. Her nurses, Melissa and Brittany on 2west are compassionate and patient. Mark Morrison, the Patient Experience Ambassador is wonderful! He is comforting and accommodating and makes sure all of your comforts are taken care of. Being in the hospital is unfortunate but we are pleased with her care during her stay!

I stayed in 2east for two days and very happy with the care the nurses gave ME they are all very friendly and took well care of me . I want to specially mention Nurse Lauren over night shift she is AMAZING. Dr Greco and his team are simply the BEST. Am so thankful to have ended here throughout my process . And last but not least I want to mention a very special Man who I met during my stay in the hospital he simply made me feel soo important and loved when I was in so much pain from my surgery he promise me everything well get better and am here 4 days later thinking on how right he was I feel great as if nothing happened to me no pain and excited about this new journey his name is MARK MORRISON

Everybody in 2 North was awesome! Was nice being right next to the nurse's station and will definitely miss them. Told a few of them I might come back to visit one day when visiting my Dad in the assisted living next door. Thank you for making my stay as pleasant as could be. And to the crew of the emergency room, thank you so much for saving my life and keeping my Mom comfortable while I was on life support. You are all true angels.

My experience has been great. From the women who triage me in the emergency room got my IV first shot had fluid and zophran in me quickly. Jersey was my nurse and he was fabulous as he danced from patient to patient gave me pain meds, got me to catscan and up to a room in record time. Do the Dr who cared for me was just as wonderful. Attentive and fast to care for me and keep me safely out of pain. My nurses on 2 north were great as well. Goski, and her night group were on top of everything, caring and empathetic, everyone of them worked well with each other. Gosie is wonderful and susie tech was great. What a great team.

I spent 2 nights and 3 days in the care of the best nurses and patient care associates in 2 west wing of bay shore medical center. Dr Greco and the staff was truly compassionate and always available for my needs. I never waited more than a minute when pushing the call button from my bed! Not only was I super impressed with the care but was very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. It never smelt like a hospital it always smelt more like a high end hotel. The patient representative Mark came to my bed side 4x to 5x to make sure all my needs as a patient were met. He was so caring and personable he felt like family instantly. I would hope to not have to stay again in a hospital but if I do it will definitely be Bayshore Medical center.

My 94 year old Mother was admitted to the ER. The staff was very attentive to her and was very concerned about her comfort. Her nurse , Gabby, made her feel so comfortable. Russell from Access Services checked on her to see if she needed anything, and Dr. Yu explained to the family what results had been found so far. And Mark Morrison is the best. He was so attentive to the entire family. He should be employee of the year!

This is 2 West and i am pleased with my care. The staff was very attentive.

Hackensack Meridian Health Bayshore Medical Center is very efficient. They kept me informed and moved me through the process. Recently I have had several visits and found all of them extremely pleasant. Also find parking so easy!

Excellent service & care, Susan D. was so informative, and patient. Jean the night nurse was great too. I can t say a bad thing about any one, right from the moment you walk in the door you get personalized care.

It was a pleasure being at this hospital. Everyone is so pleasant. The care was awesome....

Friendly stuff, got my results very fast with the right procedures. Absolutely loved it there, very clean.

I called the ER due to an issue I'm having saying I do not have money for a cab, no rides, but do not need an ambulance although I was having severe kidney pain, and she goes well, what do you want from me, to pay for your cab ride? Find your own way. Terrible secretary service. NASTY STAFF. You guys should do what other hospitals do, and have a car service for those in this situation. Also, the wait is very long and last time I was there Dr. Shaw was extremely rude, I confided in the dr telling them I have tried drugs before, but don't do them at all now, and that was not even the reason I was there, and in the discharge papers he put down "substance abuse." Very disapointed. Will be going to Riverview if I can ever get a ride.

I highly recommend this hospital, Dr Grecco and all the nurses 2west staff were so informative and hospital was extremely clean .

What a powerhouse of change for Bayshore Hospital!!! The new and improved Bayshore Hospital is certainly taking the community by storm and leaving no seconding guessing in its wake. The communication, organization, cleanliness of the facility, the positive/caring/encouraging disposition of all the staff, the professionalism and team work was simply astounding, everything came together like a beautiful symphony. My 20yr old daughter had surgery the last week and I would like to thank all the staff on 2 west especially Susan her admitting RN/educator (thank you for your wonderful, soothing and calming demeanor). Sara her PCA (you are an amazing and caring young lady), Sonya her nurse (very thorough, empathetic and attentive) Lavin her nurse on her last day (you are smart, adorable but tough as nails). Last but not least, a true real life guardian angel Mark Morrison, The Guest Relations Representative. Through his personal journey with this procedure he was able to gain control over our emotional distress, fears and anxiety. Kudos to the management team at Bayshore for putting someone in that position who has walked in those shoes. We became emotionally dependent on Marks visit, which became uplifting, cathartic and almost spiritual. We leaned heavily on him and all the staff when we were at our most vulnerable, words cannot express our gratitude. Nicely done Bayshore!
