We spent all day there for the installation. After 1 hours after the Arpi s installation person left, the air conditioner stopped working. Have to call and arrange the time to fix it. Need to have another day off to wait for the service.
No body checked the filter and reminded us for the potential possibility of damaging furnace motor because of the new equipment added onto the furnace motor. It is summer. We usually do the completely cleaning up before the furnace turns on in Fall time. Until we told the people doing the installation about the aloud sounds from the furnace, they checked and told us the filter was clogged. This was after all the air conditioner installation done, they were running the A/C testing. They should check the existing furnace condition before starting up the air conditioner. Actually, we have the new filter just beside the furnace, but nobody mentioned it. They shall never run the A/C if they thought it had the potential to damage the furnace motor because of the filter was clogged. Actually, the technician come to repair the motor told us the AC need faster speed of motor than the furnace working. So if you have a properly working motor for the furnace, it s condition might not be suitable for A/C. Nobody told us these before the installation. Hope the other customers will know these before installing A/C.
We have to change the damaged motor. Apri s told us will cost around $300, we accepted it. The technician did the repair was really good. We were appreciated it. But invoice gave us showed $627 which was far beyond our knowledges. We were told $300 was only the material cost, the others are labor cost. We did not realize Apri s was going to charge the labor cost of the repairing even the motor damage was related to the air conditioner they installed. We did not pay the price they requested. We are still trying to discuss with Apri s about how and why this happened with the new A/C installation. Hop can get the results sooner. Will update later.

Friendly and professional installation on date and at time promised. Clean up was thorough.

Our furnace developed an issue which ultimately led to the on-demand burners not firing. Vanessa came out to evaluate and repair the problem, but also identified issues with our thermostat and humidifier. We were happy to have her proceed with addressing the original issue but also replacing our thermostat and re-configuring the associated wiring to improve reliability (i.e. thermostat using battery for backup instead of operation).

Upon completion of repairs Vanessa conducted a series of tests to ensure that performance was adequate but also communicated the importance of these tests. Vanessa was both highly knowledgeable and professional.

We are very happy that we called Arpi's and are amazed by their staff - from the call with dispatch to the service call itself!

Kelly went above and beyond in his service! He showed me a few things that were not working and explained what was going on. I truly appreciated the timely service and extra attention to detail.

Arpis did our furnace and ac and now a couple of polite guys are cleaning out our ducts and doing a great job. In and out quickly and with little disruption to our home. Great place !

Great service by the technician. Placed a call to the call center for after hours help and they were here, diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 2 hours.

Arpi s was on time and began work immediately. They even shovelled the walkway. All work was finished that day when it was supposed to take two days. Very happy with the new system and workmanship.

The technician s very professional and knowledgeable. He even pointed out the items that the other duct cleaning companies had sold me that were pretty much useless and a waste of money and explained why.

Had Arpis come re run pipes through my house last year because they were previously run through the garage and were freezing up and causing issues all the time. I didn t want to write a review right away bucause I thought i would still have problems. The job is fully done now and I haven t had any problems since, David and William made sure nothing would happen as long as I knock the ice that froms every so often :)

I booked Arpi s for annual maintenance of my furnace and air conditioner. The tech (Jared) arrived on time and was sure to call ahead before he arrived which is something I really appreciate from a service company. He was outgoing, knowledgeable and friendly. When I pointed out something on the furnace that was bothersome, yet nothing that he was responsible for fixing, he went above and beyond and took care of it. (Thanks Jared!) I would definitely recommend them family and friends.

I just had a tankless water heater installed by Arpi s. I got a top of the line model at a reasonable price and the team that installed it did a fantastic job.

Arpi s should have it s customer service workflow patented! From the first meeting with John, who answered all of my questions and concerns about design, to the appointment reminder from the office, to the install and cleanup...it was all seamless. The installers David and Mike were on time, they were courteous, respectful, professional and completed the install with no delays. I really do recommend Arpi s for any HVAC work you need done!!

Installation was excellent from the estimator, Kevin, the lead Technician, John McLaughyn, and his assistant, Rob. They were very efficient and very pleasant. The installation was somewhat difficult but they handled it effectively. We were very pleased.

I called last Friday to arrange my annual furnace tune up for this week. They found an opening in the schedule that morning with Vanessa arriving right on time. Vanessa triaged by asking if I had noted any changes in operation which I had. She zeroed in on the problem area right away. While I hadn't planned on a major repair she replaced the inducer motor is a timely fashion. Thanks Vanessa!

Awesome service. Knowledgeable and friendly technician who worked fast and did a great job.

Unfortunately we will not be using Arpi again. The furnace and boiler repairs were great (three visits) but they left us a related leak that flooded our furnace room within 24 hrs of their last visit. This required us to shut off our hot water and the emergency repair wanted over $350 to stop by. We have no problem paying for the replacement parts but being charged emergency rates for something Apri caused on a Friday seems less than fair. Why do we have to pay extra because Apri caused a problem on a Friday leaving us with a water problem for over the weekend? This leak was not caused by anything we did.

Arpi's responded to my call at 9am and had someone on site promptly, the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour (or so). My furnace was down and it is winter so I'm appreciative of the quick response. The office was cordial and attentive and the repair person was polite and helpful, explaining what it was that was not working and where the part was located. All in all, a great experience.

Adi was quite knowledgeable around the furnace and took time to explain the work to me. Very friendly!

Replaced the aging and failing furnace.
The sound of the running furnace was hard to accept after hearing the old one for so many years. I thought it is the furnace.
Arpi's has done everything, to my understanding, to satisfy the customer (me). Basically all the components of the new furnace were replaced and the running noise is still there.
I accept that this is how this furnace works now. It is just that we were accustomed to a different noise.
I praise Arpi's for their dedication and customer service. I trust the end results as every machinery makes different noises and you must accept that.

We have always had great service from Arpis s. They installed a new furnace last year and went above and beyond in terms of their service. I had them back for a service call and he was on time and had the small issue corrected quickly and didn t even mind my dog getting in his way. I highly recommend Arpi s!

Although the issue with our heater was fixed . I must say the customer service we received from Clayton was far below subpar . Seems to have an issue entering homes with pets and has rude smart remarks in regards to animals , makes you feel uncomfortable in your own home. Be prepared to hire a carpenter after he leaves , slams the door numerous times with no regard. I had questions I wanted to ask regarding operation of the furnace/ failure but with his demeaning manor just wanted him out of my house . Apart from getting the furnace fixed , the experience was terrible

WATER LEAKS, CUT WIRES DANGLING IN FURNACE & INCORRECT WIRING LEADING TO EQUIPMENT FAILURE. Called Arpis to install a new AC and water softener and repair a humidifier and was shocked at what occurred. The AC unit was leaking into the house, thermostats didn t work as the furnace was rewired incorrectly and some wiring was left disconnected completely. Arpis said they fixed the humidifier but it still did not work after they left and they disconnected the other one so it did not work. I ended up calling another company to fix Arpis work.

Jeremy and Robert were excellent, I would gladly recommend them to friends and family. And will be using Arpi s again

First off, I am not mechanically inclined. My furnace died so I called a local company from my neighborhood. After being informed by them that it needed a new motor, I decided to call the company who installed my furnace originally 10yrs ago (Arpi s) to replace the part as I felt they would likely have a better access and warranty on parts. After the Arpi s service tech reviewed the situation he informed me that I needed a motor and a new cage for the motor. I told the tech to go ahead and get it done. Shortly thereafter I was informed that the part was in transit and would be a week to arrive. The tech told me I should go get some space heaters to tie me over.
Seeing that this company installed probably hundreds of these units in my neighbourhood and being likely even more in the city it baffles me that they cannot keep a few of these cages on their shelf as it is likely many would be in need of repair at this point in their life. It s not even a product that would go bad or even be expensive to stock. I could understand not needing my furnace for a week in the summer but when its -22C the problem needs to fixed immediately and recommending me to go get space heaters is unacceptable and just poor business practice.
Had they had the part this wouldn t be an issue for me and I would have had them do the job. Because they recommended my family suffer in a cold house for a week I called another company who could do the job. I called the manager at Arpi s to let him know this and miraculously he found the part I needed right away. Why not just do this in the first place? The manager also informed me regardless if they did the job or not I needed to pay the trip charge. Buyer beware I guess. I supposed I should have asked if they had all the parts to fix the furnaces they regularly install.

Although not an emergency, our furnace repair was done the same day. It is an older furnace almost ready to be replaced. Ray was able to resolve the issue without an expensive repair giving us a little more life out of our aging furnace. We spoke about replacing the furnace and will be calling Arpi's when we are ready to do so.

We recently had a problem with our furnace making a hard to describe, intermittent noise when starting the heating cycle.
We were very fortunate to have Adam show up at our door. A thoroughly competent service man who genuinely cares about the job at hand. We were unsuccessful in reproducing the noise during his first visit (Friday), but I was encouraged to phone back if the problem persisted, which I did. Adam returned at the end of his shift on Monday , extending his work day to take care of us. Long story short, he managed to track down the root cause and fix the problem. It was not a routine problem and we re grateful for Adam s dedication.
Our experience with all of the Arpi s service people we ve had in our house have all been excellent. I highly recommend this company.

I just had Arpi's clean my ducts (Bassel and a younger fellow Jordan?) and Vanessa who performed a furnace and humidifier tune up.
Vanessa was amazing and answered all of my many questions with professionalism and patience. She was thorough and taught me some things along the way.
Bassel and (Jordan?) were friendly and answered my questions but my one concern was the fact that Jordan walked outside in his sock feet and then came back into my house with dirty socks. I'd just had my carpets cleaned last week so had to ask him to be respectful.
Everyone was exactly on time and very polite. I will have Arpi's come again.

Duct Cleaning

Alongside of receiving our AC unit, my fiance and I had our ducts clean by Arpi's Industries as well. We could not be any happier with this company! Chris and 2 others (sorry I forgot you names!) were professional and very informative. They were quick to complete the job and were all so friendly. All of the Apri's employees ensured to give me tips on maintaining and keeping my ducts cleaned as well.

Kirk and Darryl were great! Kirk explained all our options for replacing our hot water tank. There was no sales pressure. Darryl did the install and explained how to operate and maintain the unit. I would highly recommend Arpis for your next hot water heater!

My old furnace wasn't running up to par so I gave Arpis a call to get a new one. The young men that showed up to replace my furnace did a great job. The work that Tim and Kale did was very clean and looked much better than what was done on my previous furnace.

Arpi s have when necessary gone the extra mile for me. The technician we use is always on time and very professional. We request the same tech each year.

Dealt with Chris, Cody and Rob when they attended my residence to do some duct/furnace cleaning and 30 point inspection. The group was excellent to deal with, personable and respectful for health concerns during covid19. I would recommend this company if you want quality work with a personal touch.

Furnace stopped working on new year's eve. Called Arpi's and had Vanessa Lam come out to fix the issue. She fixed the issue promptly and was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had.
Will definitely reach out to Arpi's again.

We were super impressed with overall experience of getting our hot water tank replaced by Arpi's, specially by Sam's work and service.

Kevin provided initial estimate to have 40 gallon tank replaced with 50 gallon. We really appreciated that he was able to arrange installation for next day, even though when I called Arpi's office they didn't have anything available till next week.

Sam showed up right on time and he was awesome!!!! It was a pleasure to deal with him. Sam is genuine, polite and caring. I have never had any service provider who actually cared as much as Sam. When he arrived he explained exactly what he will be doing. Once installation was complete, he explained regular check-ups, warranties and maintenance procedures I should do in future. One of the isolating valve had a small leak, instead of selling me a new valve he showed me how to tighten valve stem to stop the leak. He even called me later in the day to ensure that water temperature was appropriate and if I had any additional questions.

I just had air conditioning installed by Arpis and I was very impressed. Tim and Kale were very polite, they did a great job and explained how the new air conditioner worked. 5 stars for sure!

I initially contacted Arpi's due their over 50 years in service, but would recommend Darryl, the humour filled technician that did a speedy and superb job on my leak and replacing my faucet!

I ve used Arpi s in past years for furnace, air conditioning, and boiler replacements. The job this time was to install a new water softener. As before, the Arpi s service rep, Jesse, was extremely professional, provided excellent communication on timing of arrival, work progress, completion time, etc.

This was a tricky installation due to the location and complexity of the water plumbing, and Jesse provided a neat, tidy installation. He also cleaned up following the installation thoroughly, and took time to explain the new system and review the documentation. I was completely satisfied with the work of Jesse and Arpi s, and would highly recommend them for all plumbing and HVAC service.

I didn't purchase a furnace from Arpis, but I'm living in a house that they did an install in. I was impressed with Brock and his helper, they left the house very clean after the install. Brock even did a courtesy call the following day to make sure everything was working well.

Vanessa was lovely, polite and clean. She was conscious of my kids sleeping and was quiet

July 23-2019 Erwin Gomez was our service tech. Very personable man. Got to work very quickly, explained a few things that we did not learn about our A/C unit (thank you for this). I would recommend Arpi's for installation (as that is who supplied and installed our new furnace) and also recommend them for repairs, we have had a 15 year history with Arpi's and they always come through.

Not very good communication. We've emailed questions after we paid the deposit a week ago and have yet to receive a response.

Had sales person out, informative however still undecided if this is the right decision to add and AC with this company

David and William came to my house and fixed my venting, they assured me this would never happen again very excellent service, they answered all my questions and explained why my furnace was freezing up. Very polite.

I recently called Arpi's to diagnose and resolve an issue with my hydronic heating system. I must say Dave Dacey and his team were professional, knowledgeable and exemplified a customer first approach in their work.

I had a particularly difficult case to diagnose. Dave was very detailed, ruling out all possibilities before making a determination that the heat exchanger in my indirect tank had failed. When I asked Dave if we could pursue a warranty with the manufacturer, he took on the task, following up several times with the warranty rep, who was difficult to get a hold of. When the warranty was declined by the rep, Dave worked to get me a reasonable price on a replacement tank which would meet my needs and be less susceptible to failure in future.

The quality of workmanship of the final install was top notch. I could tell that Dave took pride in his work. He re-piped the boiler loop, taking care to arrange the piping in a visually presentable manner.
My furnace room was also left clean and tidy after work was completed.
Dave even took time out to answer questions from my 4yr old son, who wanted to know why he was there and what he was up to.

The reception team was also great to deal with whenever I phoned in to book and appointment or request a follow up call.

These guys are pros and I highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.
They will work hard to resolve your issues, answer your questions and ensure the job is done right.

I came home last night to a very cold house. Seems the furnace had quit working and the dog was shivering. I called the landlord, then I called Arpi's. Arpi's responded within the hour, and had a look at my furnace. Faulty switch, everything replaced, after 45 minutes Seth was out of here. Very excellent service, very polite and professional technician, price was very reasonable for a emergency visit, and I went to bed snuggly warm. Very pleased with Arpi's, especially the technician, and the service. I highly recommend them.

The technician was unable to fix the problem with my AC. 2 years ago my AC was no longer blowing cold enough air to cool down my house. I called Arpi's to come take a look at it. The technician determined that the AC unit had little to no refrigerant left due to a leak. Unfortunately, he could not find where it was leaking from. He offered me a costly product to recharge the unit that would also seal wherever it was leaking from. I decided to go with it and had cold AC for the rest of that summer. However, the next summer came and the same thing happened where my AC was no longer working effectively. I called Arpi's and the same technician showed up and determined again that it had leaked out all of its refrigerant. What he had sold me the previous year did not seal the leak like he said it would. I would recommend to everyone having the same issue to not spend the extra money buying this product as it does not work at all. Again, he was unable to locate the leak. He only had the same offer to recharge the AC unit again. I decided to pay for the regular refrigerant and it got me through that summer. Now, another summer has arrived and I continue to have the same problem. This time I am looking for a permanent fix rather than a bandaid. I am turning to a different company in hopes that they will properly fix my AC.

Yesterday I contacted Liz at Residential Service Dept Calgary about potential repair of my 36 yr old furnace mounted Lennox Humidifier. As you might expect I was concerned about both the repairability & availability of related replacement parts. I provided Liz with pictures of my humidifier and likely repair parts I had researched on the Internet. She then coordinated with both technicians to verify the repair was feasible, and with their Parts Dept to ensure materials were in stock. She then contacted me 2 hrs later with a competitive estimate & scheduled an appointment for me the following day. Today the experienced technician Leon arrived on time as scheduled & performed the repair very quickly. In addition he also inspected the gas supply line to my furnace to ensure safe. He then departed leaving my residence as clean as when he arrived. I would not hesitate to use Arpis again, and would certainly recommend them to others based on my successful experience with them today. Thanks again to Liz & Leon for resolving my problem in a very professional & timely manner.

The Arpis tech arrived on schedule and did his 31 point inspection as well as a thorough cleaning and some routine adjustments. As usual for Arpis this technician was friendly, professional, well prepared (he had read the file and knew the six year history of all the work that had been done to the furnace, had all his tools with him on the first trip into my house)

Kirk and his installers Brock and Mike did a incredible job from start to finish.

We were very impressed from the beginning of the process. Starting with the project manager, taking a lot of time with us to explain each and every thing and answering all our questions. Then the installation guys, who were polite, considerate, and not wasting a minute of their time. They did a very neat and clean job and I hope they will be acknowledged for their great work.

The Technician was prompt, friendly, helpful and efficient. She performed the maintenance, identified problems, made recommendations and executed the repairs diligently. She explained what needed to be done and then did it.

Technician texted to confirm appointment time. Arrived on time and was friendly and efficient. Completed the furnace service in less than 90 minutes. I m very happy with the service

Vanessa and James were courteous, quick, and answered all my questions. They took care to make sure they was no damage / dirt left behind and the installation was very clean. They were very accommodating and appreciate the effort they put in to ensure that the drained water doesn't disturb my neighbours.

Unlike some of their competition, Arpi's was very professional and would happily call upon them again for any future needs.

We had Arpis install central AC for us. They were very professional and the installers were awesome! My only complaint was that at the sales level there could have been better communication. We bought through Costco and I had to ask how to pay, how to get the rebate (gift card) etc. It would be nice if they would explain all that at the time of the quote.

It s never fun when your heat goes out, but Seth made it worthwhile. Less than two hours later we have heat again and the bulk of our annual servicing is done. Seth was fabulous, fun, and informative - definitely deserves a raise. Arpi s has a reputation for quality and service and I can see why. I will be calling them again.

Habte was Arpi's employee who checked in my furnace last December 19, he was very accomodating and efficient. He's knowledgeable and very informative in what he does. Although the parts that is needed took a while, he delivered it again today and did what he's supposed to do. He is very good in what he does, and explained what I needed to know and has all the patience to explain and discuss everything. Arpi's company is lucky to have him in this industry.

I really like the technician come for my furnace tune up. He did great job as well as taught me how to clean HRV. Since we move the house we don't know we have to clean it every 4 months. He also go over with me how to use the thomerstat, dehumidistat properly. He answered all my questions and concerns and make sure I understood. I appreciate his work.

We had great service today from Seth (AC) and Darryl & Sam (Hot Water Tank). Each of them were polite, had pride of workmanship, worked efficiently and neatly, and worked well with each other. They were pleasant and good to have work in our home.
