Arocon came out ( Jason ) for our $99.00 tune up special. We realized we have a much larger roofing problem. They were very informative without being pushy about the repairs we need to make. We are going to use them again to make these roof repairs in June.

Skilled labor isn't cheap and cheap labor isn't skilled.
Aro-CON uses the same low iq guys you see huddled in packs loitering in home depot parking lots.. and the finished product reflects that. Don't make the same mistake I did.. or have your blood boil every time you look up at your shoddy new roof that you're helpless to do anything about.

Technician Alex showed up on time, did a very thorough inspection and explained his findings very well with photos taken on my roof. I was referred to Arocon by my neighbor and Alex did his job reflecting the reason I was referred.

I hired Arocon Roofing to put on a new roof on my house in Maryland. They completed it quickly and on time as promised. They were easy to work with for estimates and choosing materials. I was not on site when the work was being done and when I came home that evening I could barely tell that they were even there. The yard and the driveway showed no signs of debris.

Great job done. I would definately recommend Arocon for roofing work.

Alex has a thorough understanding of roof construction, and did an excellent job communicating everything to me.

Braxton was very professional. He explained the process he would use to inspect the roof and gutter and to clean the gutters. The work area was cleaned up beautifully. The information from the inspection, with pictures, was sent quickly,via email, after the job was completed. I will definitely use this company again in the future and will recommend to my friends.

Bought a house and the inspection said there were some nail pops and flashing missing so we called Arocon for an inspection, I had seen their $99 roof inspection on groupon but went to their website where they offer the same inspection at the same price. Hunter came early as they had a cancellation, did a very thorough check and found very little to fix so instead of just giving us the report and leaving he blew out the gutter while he was up there. Very impressed with the service and would highly recommend.

I ordered the $99 Roof Tune-up.

We had a small wet spot on our ceiling. Employee found the source of the problem explained to me what he did to fix it.(along with some pictures) which was all fine

He then explained to me the roof was at the end of its life and was recommending we replace it and said someone would be following up with us about scheduling an estimate and our options.

I asked him about gutter cleaning, as he didn't seem to up on the roof too long and I didn't hear water running etc. and said he cleaned out what he saw.
The problem is ... later in the week when we had rain my front gutter overflowed and I believe the downspout may be clogged. This was the same week I had the Roof tune-up

While I did want to source of the leak fixed, one of the reasons I selected Arocon for , his work was because roof Tune up would fix the leak as well as include the gutter cleaning which I figured I needed as well.

Bottom line ... While the leak was repaired as I wanted ( I'll have to wait an see how long the fix lasts), the gutters weren't cleaned as I expected and I'm now wondering if this wasn't the beginning of just a Sales Pitch to replace my roof.

Honored the discount price over the phone, arrived on date/time, friendly, did the job for a Gutter Tune-up as promised, took many picture from above and shared them on-line with me, AND did not try to oversell. Talked about some of the options available and left without any pressure. I would use them again.

I'm extremely please with the $99 tune up I purchased on Angie's list. Matthew did a superb job! He arrived on-time eager to get to work. In less than an hour and a half, he had cleaned my gutters, inspected my roof, and applied gaskets and silicon where needed. For all the work he did, he showed me before and after pictures.

His 18 point inspection was very thorough and realistic. He suggested a few areas that I could use some work in the next year or two. There was absolutely no pressure and Matthew answered all my questions and concerns.

I got a deal through living social. I loved them so much I had them come do my gutters. Professional. Not pushy and only recommend what is really needed. They showed me pictures of what that was and life is now good after they did what they did. Hunter Riley is the man. Glad I found this company. When I get my new house, they will be my roofing people for years to come!

From sales to the workers Arocon was great. They got the job done in a timely manner and after the work was done they continued to stay in contact with us and check on the Job.

We had AROCON come out to do a roof tune-up and we were very happy with our Technician Hunter. He arrived early and quickly got up there to check out everything. Before doing any work he went over various parts of the roof and showed me a ton of pictures and explained what was going on and what would be done. After the work was finished he again went over all the little repairs and status on parts of the roof/gutters. Will definitely be using AROCON again in the future.

This company really has their act together! The gentleman, Henry, was incredibly polite and I could tell he worked his butt off for the roof tune up package I got. He took before and after photos that he sent to me and went over everything about my roof with pictures to back up what he was talking about. Very professional company and the work they did was excellent. Top quality materials can be requested. Great crew of roofers. They are competitive with their pricing so get more that one quote, but make sure all the quotes are on the same materials and level of work. They matched other discounts by other roofers. I was happy with the pricing.

My only complaint was the number of nails and staples I found after they left. I expected some but found quite a few just walking around the house after they left. I have a lawn tractor and a metal detector so I checked out most of my yard again the dame day. I found a good size handful. I told the foreman the next day when he came back to finish the cap on the shed they ran out of. He thanked me and said he would pass it on.
My suggestion would be that more than on or two of the crew check the entire yard of all clients before leaving the site..

I was pleased with Arocon roofing s work ethics and value for your money. Matthew Bockmille was awesome in explaining all the technical terms about roofing to me politely and patiently. He showed me the photos and videos of before and after of his Job. He explained the exact issue in my roof and suggested improvements without pushing anything. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Alex was my roof technician. He arrived promptly at 8 am , was thorough with explaining what he was going to do. Upon completion took the time to review his findings along with what he had done to include photos. He was a pleasure to work.

After the great service from Alex I scheduled a free estimate for a roof replacement. The sales rep was over 20 minutes late without notification and then quoted an estimate over $2000 more than a comparable competitor. After informing him of such he said he would go back and send an electronic estimate with a more competitive price. 3 weeks later and still no estimate. Very disappointing service from the sales rep. Moving on.

Again - Alex deserves a 5 star review.

Not sure what happened to this place. They used to be great and my go to for all things home repair. Spent thousands of dollars with them previously. In fact, we were saving up cash so they could do our roof replacement in 5 years.

But recently, I've been trying to have them give me an estimate on a door replacement. They had me wait for two weeks before someone would come out to take a look, while I was getting a roof tune up. Since then its been almost 4 weeks and I havent heard a thing. I've called twice and they tell me I should get an e-mail. Never did. I just called back and the woman that answered the phone told me she couldn't give me an answer regarding what the hold up was because "she will have someone from the office call me back". NO! No more of that. Ive waited long enough. Im taking my money elsewhere. You've lost a customer, Arocon. Too bad because you were previously so good.

Update 6/19/18--I've changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars to reflect the previous good work they've done for me but also to account for the delay and run around regarding the estimate described above. After they responded to my initial one-star review, I decided to give them one more chance and call them again. I finally got an estimate from them. If you decide to hire them, they will do good work for you, they've previously done so for me. Hopefully they get the backlog cleared out soon so that they can be more responsive to requests for estimates.

Arocon was recommended by my neighbors.I watched them work cause I was off that day an I was impressed, so I called for an estimate.Unlike there competitor, Rick the salesperson came out in two days and I liked there prising an set me up with financing.Office staff was great everybody new what was going on, thanks Linda an Kathleen an others,Had a couple of concerns and David one of the owners came out the very next day to address them and took about a dozen pics of there great work, so so impressed.When iam ready u can bet they will do my kitcken.GREAT COMPANY I recommend.

This company was fantastic, called to confirm appointment the day before, the Technician Henry Bullen called when he was on his way, very professional, took before and after pictures, he went above and beyond what I was anticipating. Thank you so much, will definately be using company again when I need any roof work done.

Arocon has repaired my roof twice and by doing so has prevented serious damage from inside of the house. They are very professional and explain everything so you can understand. In fact we are considering them to replace our roof since it does need to be replaced.

Andrew was timely and very knowledgeable! He walked me through all the steps of the repair and completed everything quickly. Would definitely recommend Arocon and Andrew if you need any roofing repairs!

EDIT: Once I posted the review, they made every effort to reach out to me to right the situation. I did get my refund from Groupon but they offered to come out anyway at no additional cost. They had someone out 2 days later. Jason came out on time and did a thorough tune up and inspection. Their quality assurance manager even reached out after the visit to make sure everything was satisfactory. I am glad they take their business seriously and corrected the situation. I'd consider them again for future roofing and gutter needs.

I purchased a Groupon for the roof and gutter tune-up and was able to schedule easy enough - within a week of calling (8/21). I was informed I would need a second technician since I live in a row home in the city, which would require an additional fee. I agreed to pay the fee, no big deal.

The day they were supposed to come, I got a call during the service window they gave me saying they got held up on another project and were not able to do it that day. They offered to reschedule for the following Saturday (8/24). I then received a call the next day saying unfortunately they were not able to come Saturday, but they could come 9/4. I was disappointed, but that was fine. A few days before my 9/4 appointment, they called yet again saying they had to push it to 9/19. At this point I was annoyed, but really wanted the roof and gutter tune-up, so I agreed. This was the 4th time scheduling.

Finally, last night (9/9), I received a call saying that they were just too busy and were not able to perform the service or honor the Groupon. They said the additional fee has not been charged and to just request a refund from Groupon. Unfortunately, since I viewed the voucher to schedule the appointment, I now have to contact customer support at Groupon to get the refund, and they only want to offer me store credit.

I just wish they would have been upfront last month when I initially called that they were not able to do the service. Hopefully I can get my money back from Groupon. Interestingly enough, they Groupon is still available to purchase, even though they're "too busy." Maybe just for row homes in the city?

At the conclusion of the $99 check up, Jason gave me a detailed and easy to understand summary of my roofing needs. I felt confident that I was not being "sold" anything that I did not need. I scheduled a return for the repairs.

Technicians Preston and Brian arrived on time and called before and after the appointment. They were courteous, professional, and thorough.

Have had some problems with my gutters not removing large volumes of rain water, but AROCON has notified me they will remedy the situation ASAP

I asked Arocon to come out and do a roof tune up and they sent Jason along who arrived perfectly on time. Jason was very pleasant, explained what he was going to be doing and asked if I had noticed any issues. As it happened I pointed him towards the chimney area as I had noticed a little water ingress. Jason thoroughly investigated the attic and roof, found the problem and also recaulked and sealed the flashing. The rest of the roof was checked over and found to be in good shape, Jason added a number of nails and caulk where required. Overall I was very impressed with the service and Jason and highly recommend Arocon Roofing & Construction.

Henry was a pleasure to work with. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I appreciate him taking the time to show me everything about my roof and gutter. I will definitely recommend Henry and Arocon to all my friends and family!

Kevin & Michael worked on my home and couldn t have been more professional. They were running 20 minutes late but thought to call me to give me a heads up....much appreciated. They were thorough and efficient. They fixed an incorrectly sloped gutter and even took down and old hornets nest. I also like the many pictures of their work they sent to me. My roof and gutters are in much better shape than what they were at the start of the day. Very pleased with their service.

Our guy arrived several minutes early (not hours late like we often see with contractors). He educated me about roof repair and maintenance, and he performed several services (for no charge) beyond what our agreed price covered. He was very friendly and he never tried to upsell us. We felt like he was here to solve our problems rather than make an extra buck. We will definitely call again.

We contacted Arocon to come and do a roof tune-up. Jason showed up promptly and was very professional. He took his time looking at our complex and very steep roof. After he was done looking and doing some repairs, he sat down with us and explained everything he did and everything that was going on with our roof. He showed us lots of detailed pictures. He didn't pressure us at all to make any sort of decision. Hats off to a great company and a great employee! We look forward to doing business with them in the future!

Purchased the roofing-tune-up through Groupon for $99 and got $500 service!!! No short-cuts because it was a discounted special - The office staff gave consistently good customer service even when I had to postpone due to issues on my end. The Tech Ian was great and was on time and efficient. Very personable! I'll keep recommending them and have already scheduled an estimate on some future work. Thank you Arocon for helping this busy working mom get one more important thing scratched off her to-do list.

Arocon has been a nightmare to work with. They tore down a deck to repair a roof leak and then rebuilt the deck for $6300. The leak is worse now after Arocon left than what I started with. It took them two weeks from initial contact to completion of the work and they gladly accepted my money; getting the warrantied work fixed has now been drawn out for over three months trying to get them to repair what they never corrected. Communication with them has been a hassle at best. They are now telling me the source of my leak was never the deck to begin with and want an additional $2000+ to repair. So did my house need a new roof and deck or not? I am out $6300 and Arocon will not stand behind their work. I feel like a total sucker.

After calling Arocon Roofing & Construction for roof & gutter maintenance a few years ago, I have relied on them ever since. They provide overall great service that is high quality and professional, every time. Scheduling is convenient, and technicians are courteous, very informative about what they see (and don't), all without overselling. Their maintenance service includes caring for minor wear-and-tear maintenance (worn caulking, replace nails, secure loose shingles or flashing, etc.) that helps extend the life of the roof, and protect the house from leaks or damage. The before & after pictures are extremely helpful. Andrew did a fantastic job overall, and I highly recommend Arocon!

This was a great service. At first I was a bit nervous about the repairs needed to be done because of the noises I was hearing from the vents. Henry explained and assured me everything was fine. Henry was professional and answered all my questions. Generally, a great experience and I would definitely recommend Arocon Roofing again!

Arocon performed a roof tuneup on our roof. There was lose siding on our neighbor's home that was making noise so Will patched it up for us and fixed a few other minor things. He explained everything to me and was extremely courteous. We will definitely being using this company again!

This company charged my in laws thousands of dollars to repair their roof and they now leaks where there were none previously. Arocon is blaming the chimney but did not perform repair to the flashing that was promised. Worst of all, they are belligerent when asked to come out and review the work and refuse to let us speak to someone in charge. We are now pondering legal action to get this addressed. Extremely disappointing.

I purchased the $99.00 roof tune-up from Amazon Local and I am very satisfied with it. The roof tech showed up on time and was very courteous. He went about his work quickly and professionally. While on my roof he replaced four shingles, caulked several places and fixed a leak on my vent pipe. I am extremely happy with this service.

The technician was polite and efficient and came on time as scheduled. This is a very good deal if you have roof or gutter issues. The photos taken were helpful and appreciated.

Preston and Kevin are awesome. They came here on time and gave me a good explanation what they are about to do. They introduced me about the home confidence plan, which is an excellent value. Afterwards, Preston and Kevin went up the roofs to do theirs job. It was 93 F day and they did not rush the job. They caulked all the pipes and exposed nails as promised. They even removed some great stuffs put on by prior owner in the chimney, which is fire hazard.

All in all, this is the best gutter cleanup I had in my 20 years.

I am extremely pleased with the new roof that was replaced by Arocon. Every aspect of my interaction with the Arocon team was top notch, they have excellent customer service. My sales representative, Rich Canning showed up on time to provide me with an estimate, did a full inspection of the roof to include checking for problem areas in the attic, took pictures and showed where there were issues. Rich is very knowledgable and answered all my questions. He followed up with me several times very promptly and made me feel that I was making the right decision to go with Arocon. I was also very impressed with Nancy in the office who scheduled the project, she is very pleasant and follows through. The roofing team got here after I left for work and were done before I got home. The roof looked great, and they did a good job of cleaning up, you almost could not tell anyone was there other then the new roof. Adam also came and did a follow up with me and we walked around the roof and checked things out. Adam was eager to answer any questions I had and was very helpful. I would highly recommend Arocon to anyone in need of quality roofing work who appreciates outstanding customer service!
