Jason was on time. Professional and knowledgeable about the roof, made suggestions and took the time to explain everything. I would recommend the company.

We used Arocon for roof repair and inspection. Because of the harsh winter, we had to schedule and reschedule a few times but they stayed in touch after each storm. When the ice and snow finally cleared, they showed up at the scheduled time and completed the work as promised. The overall communication, price, and quality of work was excellent. Fortunately, our roof is in great shape right now but we will certainly use this reliable company in the future if more work or replacement is needed.

Impressed with Mikey and Zach's professionalism. They were very thorough and I was completely satisfied with their work. This was the first time I called AROCON and Mikey and Zach helped build my trust in the company.

Larry Bullen arrived as scheduled. He was very professional, courteous, explained the installation process, and answered my questions. Larry returned several days later to sign the contract for the entire asphalt roof replacement and explained the financing options offered by Arocon. The project was completed as scheduled. Denny and the installation team did an excellent job. Cleanup was very good. I am considering Arocon for replacement of my gutters. I would easily recommend Arocon.

Dylan and Mike were very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease.

The technician arrived at exactly my appointment time. He identified himself right off the bat and was courteous. I explained my concerns with the roof and he got right to work. Before I knew it, he was done. He explained everything he had done in detail and with photos. He even offered to email all of the photos he had taken.

Scheduling was easy, the technician showed up on time and worked quickly on clearing out my very full gutters and tuning up my roof. He provided a clear overview of the state of my roof and gutters, and cleaned up when he was done. I will definitely be looking to AROCON when it comes time for my roof to be replaced in a few years.

Jason, the gentleman who did my inspection or roof tune up was a total professional who did an outstanding job. He was very thorough and replaced a number of shingles lost off off my roof. He took the time to explain everything to me completely and in detail with illustrations. He made his recommendations without any pressure but only as an honest assessment of my roof s overall needs. I highly recommend AROCON for any roofing needs! Great job!

First of all, never had a company ask for full payment BEFORE their technician showed up at your house. Apparently it's a Groupon thing. The final report, which in my case needed to be on their letterhead with the completed work described, turned out to be a person email from one of the office staff. In addition, I needed a receipt for the work two days after completion and was told they could not provide the receipt because the check I presented was still locked in the technician's truck. Two days later?
I will give them credit for following up with me. Arocon sincerely wants to make thing right and they acknowledge hiccups in trying to satisfy multiple streams of business procurement.
All in all, they do nice work. Just make sure you communicate your specific needs and they respond to them.

Showed up on-time, were very professional in explaining what services they were to perform in addition to cleaning the gutters. Both gentleman introduced themselves, did their inspections/work on the roof, advised of an area that required additional work, and both gentleman came to the door when completed. Will definitely be scheduled the suggested repair work soon.

Austin & Nick came ahead of schedule and provided a thorough inspection of my roof. They were both very professional and pleasant to work with.

Purchased a Groupon for Gutter cleaning/roof tuneup. Setting up an appointment went smoothly. Their roofer, Will, called ahead of time and showed up on time. The gutters were cleaned and I was pleased with the service.

This winter the wind tore off one of the shingles on our roof. We contacted one roofer and told them of the situation and that we had extra shingles they could use to replace the one that was missing. They gave us an unreasonable price to fix it.

We then saw Arocon Roofing's deal in the Carroll County Times. We contacted them and told them of the situation and that we had shingles they could use for the repair. They gave us a price that was very reasonable so we made an appointment for them to do the repair.

They came and made the repair and made a few suggestions which were actually on our "to do list". They then called to follow up with the job. We kind of expected pressure to do their suggestions but were pleasantly surprised when there was no pressure. They said the suggestions were made solely on what they saw and could be done whenever we wanted to do them.

After dealing with companies that had outrageous prices and wanted to pressure us on other "repairs" it is a breath of fresh air to deal with a company that actually treats the customer with respect.

$99 roof tune up is a great value for what's included. Fixed up broken pieces of shingles, repaired leaky vent pipe gaskets. Jesse did an excellent job of explaining the current condition of our roof. Took hundreds of photos showing the deteriorating condition of the roof. I would recommend the roof tune up to anyone.

TJ and Jason were fantastic. Thoroughly explained everything and made it easy to understand. Will definitely work with Arocon going forward for any roofing needs.

I live on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore. My home's roof had experienced some wind damage. My wife is acquainted with Adam Whitaker through her work. I scheduled an appointment with Adam to give me an estimate on repairs and a price to completely replace the roof. The information for a complete roof replacement would be for a later date, I simply wanted an idea of how much it would end up costing. Adam, who is trained and experienced in insurance worked, suggested that the damage might be something covered under my homeowners insurance. I reached out to my insurer and opened a claim. Adam communicated with and personally met with the insurance adjuster at my home to inspect and discuss the damage. My insurance did cover a complete roof replacement minus my deductible. On the day of the roof tear off and install (4/14/2020), a crew of nine was at my house at 7:10 a.m. ready to go. At 5:00 p.m. my home had a beautiful new roof. Being retired, I spent a good portion of the day outside watching the crew work. There wasn't a slacker in the bunch. Except for the 20-minutes they took for a lunch break, all nine guys were full throttle throughout the entire day. When they were done and before the crew left, I did a walk around the entire perimeter of the house with a foreman from Arocon to ensure the property was clean to my satisfaction. I couldn't even tell that just hours earlier the yard was covered in old three tab shingles and tar paper. It was like I never had work done that day. The only thing that was visible to show that a full day's work had been done was the beautiful new roof with architectural shingles which added value and curb appeal to my home. So impressive was the crew, that towards the end my wife arrived home from work and commented about the size of the crew. I acknowledged the nine man crew. She told me there were 13 men on the crew. Sure enough, during a time when I was in the house, a four man crew had finished a job 25-miles away and instead of heading home, they came to my job and chipped in to help the nine man crew finish sooner. Now that's some impressive teamwork. Before the crew had even finished packing all their materials and tools, I had three different employees from Arocon called me to inquire if I was satisfied with how everything was going with the install. Would I recommend Arocon? In a heartbeat. From my initial visit with Adam to my fist bump (Covid-19) with Levi, Arocon's foreman, when he and the crew were leaving, this was a positive and most impressive experience. And as a grizzly old retired cop, I'm not easily impressed.

I learned about Arocon through Amazon. I was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of service, especially Will the technician who came to my home. I appreciate the recommendations provided to me and I will look to use them for all of my roofing needs.

Tune-up was exactly what I needed. Kevin and Michael provided a very detailed roof inspection report with about 40 images to show what was tuned-up. Definitely recommend!

Dylan was punctual and professional. The service was quick but very thorough. He took before and after photos. Reviewed the work he did with me and I received an email with all of the information within 10 minutes of the work being completed. Very highly recommended!

My chimney was letting rain water comes inside the fireplace. Jason took care of the problem professionally and I'm confident i won't have this problem again. He showed me before and after photos. I defenitly recommend this company. I'm also getting an attic fan installed by them.

We had Jason come by in early September for roof and gutter tuneups. He thoroughly checked out everything and replaced some missing and damaged shingles which fixed some leaks in multiple areas. Jason also thoroughly cleaned our gutters, pointing out which ones should be watched for clogging. He also had plenty of pictures taken before and after the repairs. You can't beat the price or the service. Highly suggested!

We came upon Arocon Roofing at the Carroll County Home Show and started taking to the rep about a problem I noticed with the wood on our roof while I was in the attic. The person at the show was very polite and not at all pushy (that was a surprise), and seemed to understand exactly what our problem was with the roof. We set up an appointment and the consultant, Larry, came out and thoroughly looked over the situation from our attic and estimated on the spot the repair approach and costs. I was shocked frankly at the very reasonable rate and I could tell by the write-up that if they did what they said they would do, this would be a first-rate fix. They arrived a week later and had pictures of where they were going to work and explained everything to me before hand regarding what they were going to do that day. Bottom line, they were prompt, efficient and extremely thorough in the work they did, the materials they used and the cleanup was like they were never there. I was very pleasantly surprised with the entire process and would highly recommend them as well as use them again for any project. Great company to work with.

Very professional! 2 other companies tried selling me an overpriced new roof when all I needed was to replace a missing vent cover.

A very easy experience. Jason was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. He arrived on time (early) and completed everything as promised in time.
I spent time with him afterwards learning more, reviewing photos and getting an estimate, which I was very pleased with. I will be using Arocon for a replacement soon. I suggest using AROCON and I ve already referred them to a friend.

Jason was very informative and described everything clearly. Pictures he provided were definitely an easier way to see what he sees on the roof. He also explained in detail the inspection report provided. Sealed pipe gaskets, fixed nail pops and sealed them. He had a great attitude, very professional and easy to talk to. He even killed a hornets nest that was up on the roof that I never knew was up there. Very impressed with the service and Jason. Looking forward to using Arocon Roofing & Construction to replace roof/shingles soon.

Currently a low review. My appointment is tomorrow. They were supposed to call today to confirm the time and who would be coming. I've heard nothing and the office is already closed for the day. I had a roof tune up performed by Ian from Arocon. I was very impressed by the work performed and would not hesitate to have them back. The tune up was done without a hard sell for a new roof, which was really impressive considering that the roof is over 15 years old. He did recommend replacing the ridge vent, however.

Very good experience for the 2nd straight time and Austin Lowe arrived earlier than expected (if you're not early you're late LOL). He and his colleague completed my roof inspection and replaced my missing shingles. They also took care of my gutters and fixed a small siding issue. I will always contact Arocon first for any of my roofing issues and they are always very professional and responsive. I'm a small business owner who prides himself in customer service and Arocon definitely does the same. Thanks again for a great experience and excellent service.

Had a roof and gutter tune up done with Arocon. Andrew was our roof technician and he was great! Made sure we understood the ins and outs of our roof and took pictures documenting everything. Would highly recommend and ask for Andrew if possible.

Alex was the name of the representative that visited my home. He did an excellent job from start to finish. He was timely and polite and did everything that he was tasked to do. He also took great pictures of our roof to show us his finished work, and was friendly with his suggestions on how we could improve our roof and gutter.

Roof showing buckling 3 yrs after installation. Still waiting for repairs after 4 weeks of notification. Very disappointed!

Jason Easton(technician) was great. He took the pics of where the roof needed fixing. He was friendly and very professional. I would recommend Arocon Roofing & Construction to others and especially Jason. He was great.
My home owner's insurance had threatened to drop my house (homeowner's insurance) but after they saw the work that was done and the report Jason wrote, they re-instated the insurance. I will give it a 4 star.

Austin was great. No BS just straight forward explanation of the issues. Great experience which is not the norm with most roofing contractors. Highly recommend!

7/12/2018 update: during the roof tune-up an issue was identified with the flashing, causing a water leak. Jason came out on 6/25 to take a look at the issue. He seemed very knowledgeable, explained the issue to me, took pictures, and was supposed to send me a repair estimate. I called the Arocon office twice to follow up, asking for an estimate. As of today, almost three weeks since the initial evaluation, I haven't received the estimate. Disappointed, downgrading to 2 stars.

7/18/2018 update: Jason called and apologized for the delay with the estimate. He promptly sent me the estimate. You can tell a lot about the business based on how they handle customer issues and problems. Arocon/Jason recognized they made a mistake with the estimate delay, and handled it professionally. Upgrading back to 5 stars.

4/17/2019 Furnace vent cap blew off. Arocon/Nik and Dylan came to fix that and do a roof & gutter tune up. Arrived on time, inspected the attic, re-installed the vent cap and secured with screws, did a whole roof inspection, fixed minor issues like nail pops, dried/missing caulk, etc.
They noticed cracked caulk around an upper level window, and fixed that as well. Everything was documented with pictures that were shown to me and emailed. Great work, attention to detail. Would recommend highly!

Mark Bruno arrived on time and inspected my roof and replaced 2 pipe collars. He explained in great detail the status of my roof on a number of criteria. Mark was very professional and knowledgeable. We discussed the shingles and the vents on my current roof and he answered all my questions regarding replacement. I will definitely follow-up with Arocon Roofing when I make a decision to replace my roof. I was very pleased with them; including their staff that I talked with on the telephone.

About 5 or 6 years ago, I contracted Arocon Roofing to install a new white roof on my restaurant building, located at:

After the initial installation, within a year or so there were a few minor leaks near the 2nd HVAC unit from the Ritchie Highway side of the building. When we had long periods of rain, (for 5 hours or longer), there always seemed to be little leaks.

I complained about the leaks, so your company sent somebody out to check on it. Your representative made an inspection, and said that everything was fine. As time went on, however, the leaks got worse, and occurred more frequently. Ever since then, we have had at least 5 leaks per year, for a few years in a row.

So I complained for a second time, about 3 years ago, about the leaks, and you guys sent over another person to check out the issue. Again, your rep could not find or see any issues.

Last year was the absolute worst with the leaks. Every time we had heavy rainfall longer than 2 hours, the roof had serious leaks. So last winter, I called you guys once again, and you guys sent another person to check out the issue.The guy simply said the leaks might be coming from the HVAC units. He also found out that 2 HVAC units on the roof did not have any roofing material put underneath them; every other unit, and every other part of the roof had roofing material underneath except for those 2 HVAC units. He acknowledged that this was your company's fault, then promised to send somebody back to put the roofing material underneath those 2 HVAC units. Nobody ever showed up to finish this work.

So on March 1, 2019, I finally decided to contract another reputable roofing company, Turner Roofing, to repair this issue. They did a thorough examination of the roof, and worked for over 5 hours to identify the sources of the leaks. Ever since Turner finished their work, it has rained severly several times, and so far, we have had no problems with any leaks.

I have completely lost faith in Arocon because of this experience.

Good evening Sam,

Thanks for your email. I'm fully aware of the timeline and efforts made by AROCON to resolve your leak above the dining area at the restaurant. I personally accompanied the lead technician during our last visit. I was present when the foreman (Ivan) water tested the roof for over an hour and completely saturated the area around the AC unit and surrounding areas. We were unable to duplicate the leaking that you were experiencing. There were no visible holes to be found on the flashing around the AC unit or any surrounding areas. You were personally up on the roof with us during the inspection and agreed that nothing seemed out of order. The photos you've provided do not show any definitive results or proof of damage to the roof due to poor workmanship.

This roof system was thoroughly inspected by a Duro-Last manufacturer representative who signed off on the warranty and the quality of workmanship. You were provided a copy of the inspection results as well as the signed manufacturer warranty. Many of the repairs listed on Turner Roofing's invoice are related to the siding and window flashing which we informed you was likely the cause of the leak during our last visit. Now that Turner has voided the Duro-Last warranty by coating the membrane with GACO silicone, we can no longer offer any assistance or honor any warranty for this roof system.

Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse you for any expenses paid to Turner since the work performed was not authorized, voided the Duro-Last manufacturer warranty and was largely made up of work performed to the siding and window flashing which were never part of our original contract.

I am very disappointed with your response. I am very surprised your company is not taking any responsibility for the leaks.

Let's say the all the leaking was from the siding and window flashing. Why did Arocon not make any recommendation to immediately fix those areas the 1st time? 2nd time? 3rd time?

We got an estimate for a roof repair that was more than *triple* the cost of the amount we initially spent to get a whole new roof. We ended up hiring a roofer who charged us SEVEN PERCENT of what Arocon wanted to charge us. Less than one tenth of the price! He did a wonderful job BTW. Insurance scam maybe??

I was very pleased with my service! They were thorough, efficient, and informative.

Alex and Eric were on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough.

After my experience, I wouldn't hire Aerocon for any job. The installer who was just some random sub didn't replace all the plywood he should have. Afterwards Arocon's warranty inspector declined to fix the problem. A call to his boss was not returned.

The part that was done correctly is nice. But I don't think that you can rely on the Arocon warranty.

Such a great deal. The technician was great. He went over and beyond what I expected. Took photos, made suggestions and did what was necessary. I highly recommend. Will use them again!
