Always have great experience shopping at this location for the past 6 years. Staffs are helpful and engaging. I've purchased iphones, watches, mac, ipad, and airpods from here, as well as performance same day repair services on various devices.

Apple in the city is such a headache. Usually I go to the Meatpacking location because it is not too busy. I feel like there are simply too many people in this store at once. That is probably why they sometimes have lines waiting to get in. Unless you dying to go to Apple, I would avoid this store. That being said, the employees are super nice and friendly, the store is just too busy!

Bought myself an Apple laptop. Works great, very dependable, built to last.
My first computer got me thru college, and wasn't working after two years. This is my third computer that I've owned, and I am not so hard on this one. The sale went smoothly, and the salesman was friendly.

Bought a new laptop and it said I could pick it up that day at Apple soho and 6pm, got a notification saying it was ready, rushed all the way from Brooklyn to pick it up and Apple decided to close all it s stores without notifying ANY customers with appointments. Such a huge disappointment and an even bigger waste of my time. What s even more upsetting is Apple is such a conglomerate they won t do ANYTHING to fix this disaster.

I was never a real big fan of Apple in the early days CPM days of the Apple II, preferring IBM. But with Jobs' introduction of the Macintosh line, I was hooked. While I had my quarrels with some of the directions the company took, with the re-hiring of Jobs by Gil Amelio in '96 it's been all uphill. Personally, I prefer small local dealer/repairman and shops & won't go near a Genius Bar to save my life. I only visit Apple Stores to purchase new items.

Every time i come here with or without an appointment I get the best service . Their ratings should be higher. The people at the Genius Bar are so kind and extremely helpful . I travel an hour just to come to this apple store because of the service they give .

12/19/18 Very disappointed at the genius person and his supervisor. I came in with 2 issues. Stayed 1.5 hrs from 4:30 to 6 pm and at the end I was left on my own at the table with none of the issues solved. The very arrogant condescending supervisor tried to lie to me pretending someone else was coming to help. I was clearly left in a limbo. Apple you just lost one client ( issues #1 was an iPhone 6 that lasted less than 3 years with lot of issues and 2 replacements..) . I am going to buy a different phone and stop buying any of your staff. That simple! The angry client. G

I came to apple store last monday, the reason is touching issues. The employee told me i just need to spend $358.20 dollar, and then i can get a new iphone 6 plus. But, after one week, touching issues happen again, and this phone did not crash before, i protect very good. Why it will happen again? Are you sure you guys give me a new one? or just someone's phone is broken and you guys just fix it and then sell to customer?A new phone, a week on the phone there is a problem, you have a quality guarantee?

Basically like every other Apple Store. In my opinion great products, very nice and super helpful staff and a great place to experience new technology. I like the design and interior, it's very modest and impressive. I had a very good experience checking out the new Apple Watch, staff provided information immediately and was very friendly!

Went again to check out iPhone 10, obviously very crowded but nice atmosphere!

Since then I ve been there a couple of times and my impression changed a bit. Employees tell different things, don t know answers to my questions, have to ask other employees or are extremely annoyed by customers. Doesn t change that I like the products but it s still of importance that customers are treated very nicely and professional!

Really, it's everything you would expect it to be. It's even kind of fun to just hang out if you can handle all the pretension associated with the snob-hobs living in SoHo and who love Apple products. Very well organized, prompt friendly service, typical products and prices, in a nice, clean high-traffic environment.

I've never bought anything from the apple store, but it is a nice store. It's very organized and staff are friendly. They'll let you play with the products without being pushy. They even have bathrooms you can use, which is a pretty awesome perk in NY.

Generally great but recently had an issue they said couldn't be repaired (problem with the charging port). They spent 10 minutes trying to convince me I needed a new phone for $800. Went to my local fix it shop and my phone was good to go for $40.

Had an appointment to pick up a new phone. When I arrived at the scheduled time I was told I had to wait in line for about two hours. I'm not sure Apple understands what an appointment is.

One of the employees (who must be a really patient guy, considering how many conversations he probably already had that day about the semantics of the word "appointment") suggested that I come back over the weekend.

So I went by again today, two days later, and there was still a horrendous line.

I don't understand why anyone puts up with this because it seems totally unacceptable to me. I'd really like to have my new phone but I don't have hours to spend at this store helping Apple create lines just to make the products seem more popular.

Seriously, just hand me the stupid box - I already paid for it online.

I would give none stars if I could. The service is just the worth you will get from apple. If you want to buy anything get ready to beg. I waited for over 1h for a sales advisor to see me. You will see a lot of sales advisors doing absolutely nothing on the floor, but they can't help you as you have queue and book a time to be seen or you are more welcome to walk out the store without giving your $1000 to apple. You can see from the pictures that the store was empty but they still made me wait for over 1h.

I bought an Iphone X 6 months ago and stopped working for water damage. I came to this store and they didn t want to even repair the phone. I am so disappointed with apple. I was a big fan of Apple but not anymore.

fits soho environment perfectly! kinda unique from the decor of other apple stores. The soho store just recently changed its location in soho but it is really just two blocks down from the old location. the store has two stories, the genius bar is in the basement floor

It is clean and attractive to the public. It has an easy wheelchair access. People in the store are friendly and provide a great costumer service. It is located in a strategic area that is not so far from other Apple store.

First visit. Not up to the standards of the other Apple stores I've been to, i.e., Fifth Avenue, Madison at 75th, and Grand Central. Firstly, I almost walked right by it, since the Apple logo is black, high up, and doesn't announce its presence at all. The meek demeanor continued inside, where at 11am in Soho the store was practically empty, which was encouraging since I wanted a quick "in and out," buying some replacement earphones--which I thought would take less than 5 minutes by the look of the store traffic. But, no---first of all, it seems the earbuds are behind a cordoned-off section which had no salesperson in it, so I had to wait a while for one to show up. There was one other person waiting when I got there, so the salesperson was fetching something for him it seems, because when he got back it was another 10 minutes of waiting while they did some high-finance transaction (the wait was sort of like being in a bank line, waiting for the teller to explain to the customer why their check can't clear the same day). Well, when the transaction was completed, I figured I was next--but no! Lo and behold, another customer magically appeared behind me, and the salesperson said, "Oh, he was here before you." (Which was weird, since same said salesperson had just acknowledged me, and had said, firstly, "I'll be right with you.") By the time I finally did my 2-second transaction of saying, "I want to buy a pair of earphones for this iPhone," and zipped my card through their zippy portable device----the line behind me was snaking halfway to the door (see pic). Seems this one hapless salesperson was also somehow in charge of returns. You know, upon reflection, I really don't think it WAS an Apple store. I've never had such a slow, un-Apple experience in one. Took me about 20 minutes to make a simple transaction. Usually in an Apple store there are 10 salespeople to every customer (or so it seems.)

I have met some of the most helpful staff members at this location. Slightly unsure as to how they remain so amazing in such a densely populated area of tourists and window-shoppers. I am convinced that they have some awesome morale-boosting practices behind the scenes... kudos!!!
