First the girl at the Genius Bar couldn't do a simple reset on my iPad when I asked her to after knowing I could have done it myself if I still had my laptop to plug it into if it was working after doing a simple google search on resetting because it was stuck on the apple logo. Then, the girl tells me to go downstairs saying I should sell it because there's nothing that can be done with it. The quote they gave me for my iPad mini 2 was $65 when I paid about $600 if I remember correctly at the time it was released. So pretty much not only did they refuse to help me fix my iPad but they also try to jip me and buy it back at a fraction of the cost. Great job Apple. I would close this location down or fire the entire staff until you're able to hire employees that actually give a fvck. I rest my case, your honor.

Went here to get my phone replaced and although it took quite a while I walked out with a brand new phone and all my data good to go. The genius bar people were absolutely phenomenal at their job, and that's not an exaggeration. It's an Apple store so the aesthetics and product demos are always going to be top notch. Great store!

One of the employees (asian dude, near the base of the stairs) must think he's some sort of nobel laureate. Certainly acts like it. I simply asked about the recycling program, this guy can't possibly point his nose any higher into his own rectum. My mother was appalled at his lack of professionalism and his self-righteousness when telling us that her apple ipad was "trash" to them, despite the apple web geek on the apple support website saying that we could inquire about a credit for an 11 month old ipad for credit to purchase a new one . The other employees were awesome though. That's the only reason for 3 stars. Everyone else was pretty nice.

Very helpful staff. Crowded. best to stop by before lunch hour, around 10-12 and in the evening when the tourists thin out. Clean bathroom and they let you use their computers and tablets for at least 20-30 minutes as a test drive.

Worst service ever in NY! I enter the store and an apple employee is checking his phone. Me: Can you help me? Apple employee: No. Me: Can somebody help me? Apple employee: No, we are all very busy right now. I turn around and he laughs at me. Apple you are going down with this level of service.

Went into the store to exchange a macbook that malfunctioned in less than a week.

I understand that all the staff was busy with the new iphone release, but the service was still very unsatisfactory. All the staff that I met in the store constantly demonstrated that they were busy, and NO ONE was there to patiently answer questions.

Considering that I had to revisit the store for a device that malfunctioned in less than a week, I do not think I deserved such treatment.

The staff seemed to have forgotten that they are the ones getting paid to help customers. Instead, it's the customers that have to cater to the whims of the staff. I should not have been the person begging for help when it was a defective product that got me back to the store. It's simply nonsensical. Every single staff seemed to think that either he/she was Steve Jobs or Tim Cook at the very least. They were completely spoiled.

Please bring back the effort and passion you had when you worked so hard to win over Microsoft users. To be more candidly straight forward, the staff should do their job.

Terrible experience due to terrible staff.
