It seems that not even Apple can overcome the lazy...

It seems that not even Apple can overcome the lazy customer non-service attitude of Perth! Have always been delighted with the service of Apple until two incidences in the past week (both at Booragoon and Perth stores). Suddenly the service has gone from "here's how we can help you" to "it's over there, get it yourself" and even "I don't know, order it online!". Not sure that's the customer service focus that Apple had in mind. Shame as I really thought there was hope there!

The workers are completely incompetent, I went to get my phone fixed and waited for 10 minutes in line because i had to sign in to go to the genius bar, even though i booked an appointment online. Some idiot boy walked around, wasting time and when it was my turn he told me "I came in too late and have to reschedule my appointment" even though, I was standing there waiting for him to come sign me in. I hated the services, the employees are stupid and don't even do their jobs. I would rather switch to Samsung than go back to the apple store.

A perfect place to buy apple products .... wonderful display and arrangement of store and very helpful dealer. Once you are in the store you are free to have look at display and will immediately got attestation of the staff in a charming way. They help you in all respect I.e. comparison and details. Store is located at the hayes street perth city conveniently accessible from all over the city.

Had an issue with my MacBook, managed to get an appointment on Wed 3pm. Was told it would take 5 working days to fix. I explained we lived 490km away & were leaving Perth on Friday morning at 9am. They went above & beyond & had the repair done by 1pm on Thursday. Amazing service. Thank you

I still have not received an Email for recovery pr...

I still have not received an Email for recovery process to reset my password ... SECOND TIME ROUND over the phone ! Weeks later and still isn t resolved ... I am passed the point of angry! Have a new iPhone, still trying to get my devices linked. Turns out, was given incorrect information 2 times.

Now on the phone with Apple Customer Care, put through to the Senior Specialist Team to resolve this issue now.

Great to have an Apple Store well located in the city. I went in looking for new ideas, and was engaged by a staff member who helped me out. I overheard young woman at the front door doing a great job of reassuring a customer with phone problems. Had to take a star off though - the always reliable Apple Store wifi was nowhere near as good as I've seen elsewhere. Maybe it was just that day. I had hoped to update an app (just one) but couldn't get through it.

Horrible customer experience. Got there 5 minutes late and got told to wait around someone will be with me shortly. Ended up waiting like 7 minutes so I walked up to an employee and she told me I was too late, that they gave my appointment slot to someone else already. I understand apple is a big, busy company but I d expect they would also be able to afford to not be understaffed. This coming from a massive apple fan, but Genius Bar appointments are the bane of my existence.

Will not be coming back nor will I be purchasing recommending apple products again. Began to have wifi issues and dropped my macbook pro off to be serviced, confirmed that it would be covered under warranty. Received a call a few days later to inform me that it would not be covered under warranty as it was water damaged. This confused me as it had not been near water. In store I was informed by the manager that "I could not watch over my laptop 24/7 so I could not say that it had never been wet", being called a liar in public is not something that encourages brand loyalty. The second and final straw was when I dropped it off a second time for an issue possibly relating to the quality of the first repair. Although the is not made clear when dropping it off, I asked that a guest account could be accessed during the repair. The genius said it was possible so I set one up in front of him showed it to him and confirmed that it worked without a password. When I picked it back up, my account was logged in leaving my social media, banking and extremely sensitive work related information totally unsecured. This was totally unacceptable and just plain dumb. The reaction I received was to say sorry but there is nothing they can do and to add the incident to their training which makes me wonder why hacking into a customers account when there are unsecured guest accounts available not already part of the training.

Staff take forever to figure out the problem. Took over 90 minutes and 2 visits for them to sort out an iPad that would no longer charge. Different staff come up with different answers. Poor communication where I m told I can get a replacement for $125, but then have this withdrawn and told it ll be $450 for a new device.

I was very impressed by the way the Apple Store in Perth City assisted my overseas exchangee on Sunday. Firstly, the fact that they were open on Sunday was a pleasant surprise, and secondly the fact that they could assist us straight away was great customer service. But thirdly, and most importantly of all, they gave her a replacement phone for the cost of a replacement screen because of a problem with verifying service authenticity from overseas in Colombia.

This is a very neat and well presented place both great employees who aren't shy in the slightest. It was very busy wen I went but I didn't once have someone block my path. An overall good experience. And would definitely recommend even to go for a look around (and a play on the computers).

They are certainly efficient, but their "we know our products better than you do" is their undoing. Otherwise, they would've listened to the issue I had with a warranty MacBook, and actually fixed it properly, or at least, tested it, and save me the drama of having to take more time off work to go back to the store.
Some advice - get them to test your issue is fixed before you leave the store, no matter how much they assure you it is.

Staff made a joke about handballing me, clarified to me they where just having a joke between themselves. Aparently that s what the staff do there to entertain themselves. I was in the store to return an item, the had to print out the receipt in order to scan the barcode for the return documentation. I think the attitude in the store sucks and the sales processes are broken. The joke is on you and me as the customer, the staff will make sure you know it!

My 27" iMac, hardly used, started to shut down unexpectantly. It took three visits to the Genius Bar over several months to seemingly resolve the problem - the machine at the moment is working as expected.
The point I want to emphasise is, whilst being frustrated at not having a computer when it was needed and the hassle of getting it into Perth and back, the overall level of service and outcome is really quite outstanding. My Mac was a week or two out of the statutory warranty period but those three visits saw; repartitioning of the HD, install of a new HD and finally replacement of the LCD display panel, logic board and power supply - all at no cost. The discretion in providing an in-warranty approach to the problem, general professionalism of staff and, ultimately, a machine that is now working all adds up to customer satisfaction. Thank you, Apple.

I would just like to say how absolutely appalled I am with the customer service delivered at the Apple Store, the tech that saw me was standard nice but I was after a solution to my problem not to sit there and have an argument around if I had a software or hardware issue. I requested to see a manager, and I got a manger called Tony Irish Scottish guy. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. He asserted that he was right and that i was being ridiculous and that if I wasn't happy with the solution the doors in that direction (pointing to the door) I cannot believe the words he spoke to me and how he belittled and made me feel humiliated amoungst other customers. Sorry apple you should probably review what's going on in your store because clearly the superiors there have no idea how to be professional. He was abrupt, extremely rude
( using hand gestures to explain himself) abrupt and downright disgusting. Cannot believe you would call him a manager. Hated my experience and will not be back to your store Ever again. you may not be worried about losing another customer because your some huge company that has overpriced products but if everyone experiences what I have in the store then I'm sure your customer will vacate over time. Just food for thought

When to this store after apple update disabled my phone. Booked an appointment and the guy I saw Lath, reset me phone back to factory and then did not restore if back as he should have . Told me to finish the set up at home!
Got home and couldn t access half my data. Needed 3 hours of tech support on line to resolve the issue that should have been sorted in the store. When I told him I was unhappy with my iPhone 8 as issues since I bought it, he told me to go back to Optus where I bought it! Also asked for help with my iCloud and was told I should do a class and no help given.
If you work on a Genius Bar you need to do a better job than that. Consequently my faith in The Apple team is severely dented.
I won t be going back in there in a hurry.

Asked staff about an item to do with my logitech crayon tip replacments - not only did I get spoken to in an extremely condescending manner, the staff member I spoke to ended up not giving me any information about where to get the replacements for the product.

Waited around 10 min before someone responded to me request - eventually telling me he will send someone to help me around. However no one came and she ended up serving other costumers. Many staff standing around and talking to each other.
Ended up asking someone else if an iPad Pro 512 with keyboard and pen in stock to buy quickly and he checked and said yes but told me to wait a while.
Total 40 min roughly and I walked out so annoyed.
To be honest it seemed majority of staff were more invested in people who looked like potential buyers.

I live alone and have severe eye sight problems. I rely on my phone so much. Last week it glitched 3 days in a row. I went to Optus 2 days and they couldn t sort it. I went into Apple store Hay street Perth and had worked myself into a real state. The most gorgeous girl Kailin helped me and was so kind and empathetic. I went back and hour later and technical guy John and Maddy worked thru the phone with complete professionalism and kindness. I was so grateful to all of them for helping me get my phone running again and after 2 hours I went home with my phone working beautifully. Thank you so much Apple for your help and kindness during my stressful few days I am genuinely so grateful. Kindest regards Leisa Brady

Pathetic customer service. Racist behaviour, if you can avoid going to that particular store than please do. It s important rather than getting ill treated. Garden city is far better than this store.

The only other feedback would be for the elderly who have mobility issues the perth store is hard to get to with the nearest carpark a couple of hundred metres walk away, having some chairs closer to the front of the shop might help them.

Great experience......I would recommend to buy Apple product directly from their outlet to get an great service and if in future if you have any issue Apple will look after directly rather than dealing with shops.....
