I don't hate Coast to Coast I enjoy working for them when they let me!
Those that complain about C2C usually don't know how to work. It can suck at times, but what job doesn't. They treat their employees fairly, and the pay is indicative of the type of work being done (standing around for hours). I'd work here again just for extra spending money.
I currently work here but am not able to work due to COVID-19. I love this company, the employees are really helpful and super nice!
If you need a easy part time job they hire anybody...but management sucks and don't expect to get treated like a person you are just a number to them
Some great events happening... Working for them just for extra work was also a great experience!
Terrible company to work for. If you like working a shift with no breaks then work here. When you ask about breaks they say it's your responsibility but you can't leave your position unless somebody relieved you. then they get mad at you for asking. If you like to be perverted like one of their supervisors looking at Young cheerleaders then this is the place for you.
It wasn't my first time working a 12 hour shift, I remember working from 7 am to 10 pm at Providence Park and only having 2 breaks and a lunch when it was already 9 pm, I was supposed to be off by 9 pm as schedule but there was not enough staff and I had to stay without my own consent. My job for the day was to check for passes with a particular stamp and let other people in who did not have a stamp at my own judgement,. I won't lie, I recognize I wasn't doing my job at its best, because of the lack of rest for standing all day, literally all die! and the lack of food for only having one lunch that day. The "General Manager" of the place who hires Coast to Coast Event Services and other staff companies approached at me and yelled saying how bad of a job I was doing, I tried to explain what my duties were but he did not care a bit and kept on yelling, (yelling to the employees is considered legal but qualifies as harassment) by feeling harassed I told him to stop and he talked to my manager who also yelled at me, it was pretty funny how everybody just stared at us without saying a word, but frustrated, enraged and even butt hurt I decided to leave and go home, which is the equivalent as quitting.
At first when you are hired they try to show their best side so you can be engaged and stimulated to work more for them.
Some pros about working for this employer is that you can basically kind of like make your own schedule, some of their positions can be actually fun, you can work for concerts, shows, Portland Timbers games, Portland Winter-hawks games, Trail Blazers and other types of events like fairs and parties. They do not background check and even if you have a felony they would still hire you, they hire people with special needs, elders, and are open to any race/ethnicity, gender, but you would like to be "friends" with the supervisors as they give better shifts to the people closer to the management, this is a great place to you if you like to talk to people, manage crowds, customer service and security services.
There are so many cons that I will just post a few to not make this review too long, it is a part-time job paying minimum wage, the supervisors will not care about your breaks and/or lunch, they give priority to other employees, you can almost feel how they are taking a percentage of your money at the end of the pay check which is once a month, you will mostly be standing as you have to wand guests, watch doors/exists or crowds.
I was about to file a complain against them, one thing I can say is know your rights before working here or anywhere.
I love my job there. The staff is very encouraging and friendly but the hours can be difficult.
Always have a great experience working at this company. Highly recommend for anyone wanting extra $
Really great company, it s nice you get to choose what events and hours you want to work. Hard work is appreciated and when you re new they will teach you what you need to know. I love being able to talk to my co workers but also guests at the event. Can t wait to start up again!
