Very poor service and rude staff. Repaired my laptop under warranty and after I got it back the key board and touch pad stopped working. Having to wait 3 days just to book the computer in to have some one look at it again is unacceptable.

I ve been a couple of times and they seem to have staffing right. Enough people to help and reasonable wait times for Genius Bar. Maybe something about being a cbd location as it s a bit hit as miss at suburban ones

I waited 15 min to get through the queue-all I wanted to know was the rough price quote for iMac screen replacement. The chick asked me to bring it to the shop I said it was too far and inconvenient to just get into the shop for a quote for this. She then transferred my call to a call centre in Philippine where they said they could not help me I had to call the store again. Eventually I had to push this person in Philippine to call me back with the quote! Such unhappy experience.

Trying to contact the perth store and waited for over 20min for someone to answer only to be redirected for another 10mins to someone who was obviously not even the same city let alone country. Been told I would have to make an appointment to drop off a iPad with a cracked screen even though I was going to buy a new pc. Told them there customer service stinks and to forget it I m over the constant grief I get from Apple products. Time to change

I am a 61 year old Australian pensioner soon to travel to USA with my wife. We have travelled with an Ipad and found it to be invaluable. We decided to purchase an IPhone for our upcoming trip and so visited the Perth WA Apple Store for the purchase.
When we arrived we were met by Corey and he was great. Advising us to get the 4s phone and informed us about possible tax benefits. He then handed us over to Sammy, a girl who knew nothing about IPhones. (it s not her fault if the store hadn t trained her) but anyway we opened the box and (as we found out later) it had a USA adaptor plug for the charger and when we asked her what is was and she didn t know. She then slipped in the sim card with her special tool and I asked that we would change the sim when we get to USA and did we get a tool also. She didn t know and said just get a staple or pin. We found out later it came with one in the box.
This is the worst part and I can only think she was embarrassed about her lack of knowledge, but another consultant bought up a couple with a laptop and asked Sammy if she could talk to them. Seriously, we were half way through her demo set up and the iphone was out of the box and on the counter where she had laid it out. She said excuse me for a minute and turned to talk to the others. We waited and waited and waited and after 10 minutes realised she wasn t returning. We spoke to another consultant who just shrugged. AS you can imagine we were surprised and annoyed. I explained that we have an Ipad and should be able to work out the set up ourselves.
When we got home our son informed us that we had the 4 and not the 4s and that the power plug was a large USA one and not an Australian plug. The next day I returned to the store and was pretty annoyed at having to pay parking again and go into the city, which I find hard.
I asked to speak to a supervisor (Moe) who basically accused me of being a liar and that I could not have purchased the iphone from there with the USA plug. After showing him my receipt, he grunted and handed me over to a consultant and told him to change the iphone for a 4s and also that he would have to change the sim as the 4s sim is smaller than the 4 which we later worked out is not correct. How many iphones do these people sell???? Was I in an Apple Store ????? Amazing.
I asked the consultant if I could get a cover for the phone as compensation for being inconvenienced. He said he would ask Moe who duly passed back to me, quote, that is not how we operate. Well Moe, how do you operate? Being sold the wrong phone, had USA components, been rudely treated and needed to return the next day, when we did nothing wrong and the store was at fault on all counts.
I filled out the survey that came with the online receipt and explained it all as detailed above. The next day I got a phone call from Tina who explained she was a manager at the Perth Apple Store. I was ecstatic that my survey response had generated a call from a manager. I soon found out that Tina was a junior manager designated to tick the box to say she had responded to a detrimental survey. Moe was her boss and I said that I could not understand why she was ringing me when I had already been dismissed by her superior. I enquired about what her called was about and she just said that she had to call and that was it. Nothing???? Amazing.

What can I say, there s allot of people and not enough staff. The location is central but a pain if you a traveling by car as there is no parking available unless you want to pay. The service itself is good and the staff are friendly however the wait time is a little lengthy and maybe need more staff to cover the high traffic.

Their warranties are borderline illegal. You literally have to buy Applecare if you want any sort of guarantee with their products.
Misinformation is a common theme when making queries, as well as dis-genuine apologies that seem more trained than sincere.
Don't bother to try and escalate complaints, they don t seem to have anyone with any real power anywhere. All they seem to have is sets of procedures in place that their staff understand how to follow but don t really understand in general.
To be fair, I have seen people working there with some technical knowledge, but their hands are tied with procedures that prevent them from putting it to actual use, and most likely will atrophy over time.
Looks like the days of thinking different are over.

We had made an appointment with the staff and was told it will be around 50mins before our turn. So we went to get some food, when we received a text saying that the spot was rest, we rushed to the shop in 6 mins. The staff told us the message was sent 25 mins ago, ACCORDING TO THEIR SYSTEM, so the appointment was cancelled. Very rude attitude, the staffs are not helpful. Funny mud pea

If I can give it less than one star I will do it. They do not care about your time. I put my car in 2 hours limit park but I spend more than that. When I came to my car, I found $60 fine because I stayed more than 2 hours in Apple store. I already had appointment with Apple to fix my Iphone and Ipad.

Extreamlybdissapointed with the service to have my phone looked at for low volume obviously tech related couldn t accomodate my work roster, not to mention for me to wait around till they close in Perth from 2 pm onwards, with out any offer to help for parking , but happily tell me I can do that or I they can t help me.for an appointment to have a look at it happily will not buy products from Apple again

Service is excellent, but is very slow and delays, hence the lower review.
I had Aiden and he did an awesome job with my computer and his wise decision was to make me buy a new computer.

Cy at the time machine counter was really helpful with time machine. Having lost experience with the feature i've now fixed the main issue of the time machine.

Overall, decent but they could hire more staff.

Arrived 10 mins early for my appointment as directed, was checked in by the appointed time but have been waiting without assistant for the 50 minutes! No communication as to cause of delay and staff would just avoid eye contact when walking past.... ridiculous

I had to have my screen replaced at the Perth City...

I had to have my screen replaced at the Perth City Apple Store today due to internal faults. Apple payed for the cost of the repair and it took them around 3 hours which was fine. During my talk with the tecnician I asked whether my glass screen protector would be replaced because it would have to come off. The tecnician said yes it will we can't keep the current one because it's a one time use protector so just let the staff member know and they will replace it for you. I went about my day picked up my phone at the time I was meant to and then went on to ask the staff member to replace the screen protector because the tecnician said to ask you. She went and got the person to do it and it went on. Two seconds later another staff member who I believe was the manager came up to me and said I would have to pay for the protector and I once again repeated what the tecnician said the male manager told me that I was dishonest and that the tecnician told me I would have to pay for it. This offended me and I felt like I was being accused of lying in order to get a screen cover for free, I have better things to do than lie about a $45 protector. If the tecnician had said that there would be no problem. I am a honest person and I value respect. I felt like I was being scolded and repeatedly called a liar by the manager even after I had explained that the tecnician didn't say what he thinks he did, he may have meant that but he didn't explain it clearly nor were the words 'pay' or 'will not be covered by us' used. Of course I assumed that apple would pay for the protector as the reason for the screen replacement was their fault and my money that I spent on a screen cover for my new phone of only 2 weeks would literally be wasted. I don't know the mans name but I only wish I did because that is not how you treat a customer. I left the store and didn't pay for it, although I did offer to pay and he said no. No one deserves to be spoken to like that. Maybe some customer service training for the managers?

Went in because my Macbook pro ($3,000 laptop) got a big yellow spot out of the blue on the display (a clear defect). After the staff putting their fingers all over the screen and telling me they would get it repaired, they checked my account and told me they wouldn't be able to help me since I bought my laptop in Canada and I'd have to pay over $1,000 for parts and labour. Then they blamed me for the yellow spot telling me that I must have dropped my laptop or hit it with something. Extremely unhappy with the service, and very unfortunate this happened to me on my very first Mac after switching from a Windows computer.

I went to the apple store to service my poor macbook. After checking it, which the guy did a good job on, hence the 3 stars, i checked my phone.

Asking about ios 11.2.5 was not a good idea. The guy didn't want to say much. (maybe because of the many bugs and glitches in ios 11.2.5 including imessages crashing)

He even questioned me. "where do you get this sort of stuff"

I thought the technicians were better than this.

Been a loyal customer of apple for years with over 6 products alone within our family. One of my iPads got locked out and we forgot the apple password - took a bus with my family all the way to the Perth City store to have it fixed only to leave unsatisfied and extremely disappointed. They couldn t help unlock the iPad even when we had proof like ID and we knew the pin/password. The manager was also very useless and staff who was serving us was rude in providing customer service and did not provide any satisfying solution. I know this review may not make you stop using apple products but just be aware of the disappointing service you will receive at the stores. In addition to this, after a few years their products will slow down and almost stop working - due to the fact that they just want you to purchase the latest version, even if you are updating the software on your old products. All in all super disappointed today.

Nine days ago, iPhone 6 display was replaced by this store. Used it for 3 days [minimal usage] and after a call the screen went blank. The phone did not respond to charger, but iTune can read a phone is connected to my mac. iTunes was not able to restore the iPhone and so took it back to this store. After 20 mins, they said that the phone has liquid damage. Dissappointed, came home with the same phone and when connect to the iTunes, now the iTunes is not able to pick up the connected iPhone. This store broke my iPhone and claim it as liquid damage. They don't bother to explain how they come to that conclusion.

This place is a joke not worried about serving customers but more about masks. Where there is no community transmission, the masks that are provided look like these masks ..!!! Not putting my face

Initial salesperson we talked to was very unaware of the bundle deal we were after (as advertised on the apple website), and assured us that if we bought the MacBook then we would still be able to get the bundle items later on... Wasn't until we flagged down another person who seemed more knowledgeable that we were told that the initial salesperson was wrong. This second salesperson however was very polite and very helpful, I just wish he was the first person we had been approached by.

Great experience here for the replacement of a dog chewed power cord. Apple staff were very helpful finding me a replacement curd even though I didn t come prepared with model make and much idea about what I needed.

Yesterday ,Friday 14th, I had my iPhone X out in for repair. It was to take an hour so I jumped into a Mac1 session. It was fabulous, I think it s Mario ( sorry if that s wrong) was so great with each person. Learned heaps about Apple to apply to pc or iPhone. I had my repair done it was brought to me, a new glass protector applied. Great service and great mac session.

Went in a short while ago wanting to buy a charger. I selected the charger from the wall, then looked around for someone who was serving people (and not the guys that work at the genius bar for appointments). One of the workers with an ipad approached me and said I d need to be put down on a wait list for people paying for things - a little strange since usually you don t do that just for walking in and buying something, but he was apologetic. I was told to wait at one of the tables. I waited five minutes and noticed there were two workers standing by the mac screens doing nothing and just talking with their credit card scanners. A number of other customers were walking around and looking for workers who were free yet these two didn t move. I could see one worker looking at me but he was serving another couple and was obviously able to tell I was starting to get impatient. After another worker joined the two who were doing nothing and merely glanced over at me, another five minutes had passed and I could wait no longer as I was working. I m going to go to jbhifi instead and get a charger from there. I understand apple gets busy but it s ridiculous to make someone wait ten minutes if they re just walking in to buy a small item, and even more ridiculous to have workers who are just doing nothing when there s multiple customers walking around.

My white Macbook screen turned really dark. So I saw a Genius and he sis a few things then told me it was a $400 fix. I decided not to and went home to do some online research. A reboot to the screen and good as new. Thanks for the 2 hour drive and false help Genius!

Dealing with an issue with business phones was a slight nightmare that required 3 visits to the store as was advised different things by different staff members. It was frustrating. However I know that I the staff were doing their best. The store is always busy. So if you need something repaired or need to talk to someone I highly recommend booking an appointment online first. There can be delays with appointments as well.

Went into the apple store perth city for a simple appointment which was about my iPhone that had a few issues, (my screen was unresponsive). The person who served me was great but informed me that the phone was out of consumer law by a week and a half. I asked if they could cover it as I believe that the phone should last longer than the two years consumer law covers me for. So the technician called a manger who told me he was the leader of the store, not just a manager, and was extremely rude towards me and had no sense of empathy whatsoever, and basically said that because my phone was out of warranty by one week he can't do anything, even tho the phone was in great condition and never had any repairs ect. He was rude and seemed as if he was just there to overpower customers because he has 'manager' next to his name.

He told me if i didn't like what he had to say that 'the door is that way'.

I accepted what he had to say and left the store to just deal with my problem.

Tony, you are a shell of a man, who looks like he is unappreciated by your co workers. Definitely not a true leader, a bully, and a liability to APPLE.

Moments after, tony returned to his corner of the store to stand there and joke around with another co worker.

Absolutely shocking service. Came in the day before to book in for a repair, gave the CSO all my details and watched her type it in for the next day only to rock up and they didnt have my booking! Not good enough Apple. If you are so booked up for repairs that you miss peoples bookings altogether, might be worthwhile checking what happened to the quality of apple products in the first place.

Dear Apple today I been disrespected, harassed, intimidated and bullied at your Perth city store by your manager, WHAT CAN YOU DO.

Is this your new standard of customer service??because in Australia no one treat customer like this ??

Friendly staff , however Waiting 40 mins so far after making an appointment for 12.45 and arriving 5 mins early ...Was apparently next in line?.... at least at the DMV you can see the numbers being called.
Update: once I got someone s attention told them when my appointment was supposed to be, and asked how much longer I d be waiting, they quickly organised for someone to see me.
