The hotel was half in the renovations, the room was not clean (mold on joints in the shower corner, glass partition and bathroom door very dirty, texts were written on the glass, and prints of baby feet not ours, mirror dirty BAH) , room service to cry and expensive: for a bottle of wine from (in the restaurant) 40.00, they charge 50.00 for the room, then also without wine cooler !! ?? no menu or wine list on the room, while they do mention room service in the brochures, getting the wine in the room was already drama !! our suite cost 220.00, parking costs 35.00, was also a drama, the ticket machine does not work as it should, so if you want to leave the site, it takes 10 minutes (without exaggeration!) and few places available by a lot of freight traffic due to renovations! better they can sell people the rooms at a discount during these periods, but please clean, also breakfast 24.50 pp is a joke, there is little, no explanation that you can also order other types of egg or something, you have to but guess or something, 1 night in suite nr 112 cost us with breakfast, parking and a bottle of wine, 305.00 !! haha terrible, then restaurant Harbor club which is also located there, has also been a turnoff for us, everyone talks about it, well sorry, the pepper sauce is to cry, the Beijing duck you should not start, was tough and fat edge large pieces Too many flying hours that duck !, and that Angus beef that has only had grass, you better not take the bowl of colslaw I don't even want to talk about! and the carpaccio was cut too thick and pathetically decorated, a 5.00 tray of fries from South was also wrinkled and cold! everything costs about 10.00 more expensive as another good restaurant, well HARBOR or not, they don't see us anymore, hop just 170.00 !! unfortunately, we will go to vd valk then.O 1 thing ... the staff is friendly that's why the 2nd star!

Een grote plus voor iedereen uit het restaurant en hotel dat het zo goed aan de RIVM regels werd gehouden.
Er werd goed afstand gehouden en veel schoongemaakt!
We hebben overdag ook nog fietsen kunnen lenen. Super handig en leuk!
Al met al, voor iedereen een aanrader om hier te overnachten en eten!!

Excellent Hotel for business clientele. Very close to the RAI fair in Amsterdam. Excellent buffet breakfast. In the hotel building there is a prestigious Japanese restaurant. Good WiFi connection, stable and fast enough. Excellent SPA. Parking inside the hotel district. Rooms well kept and clean.

Beautiful looking and spacious. Food is very pretty, though was often overly salty.

Excellent breakfast. A lot to choose from and really fresh and tastefull.

Overall great hotel! Very accommodating. We were going to miss out free breakfast because wr needed to leave the hotel before 6 am to get to the airport and they arranged to send us a breakfast box at 5:15 at no additional charge. The reason it is a 4 instead of 5 is because I wish they had blackout curtains. We came in May and the sunsets about 10 pm and rises about 5 am. The room got too bright.

Good hotel. There is a cozy smoking room. The rooms have a kettle. The fish restaurant is not bad, and the traditional is nothing. Own parking.

Nice location and interior, beautiful view onto the canal, but overall a bit lacking in the experience I'd expect from a 5-star and collection hotel. Things like smudged glass surfaces, dusty bathroom fixtures, a small breakfast selection, hard to read signage ("mirror on black in dark hallway" style), problems in the room that were not fixed after two notifications. This is not the standard I know from spg/Marriott, but the experience I've had all too often these last months.

Very friendly staff helped us with a last minute reservation. They have bikes to rent onsite... they lend out umbrellas for the rain and recommended some fantastic food options. There is a smoking lounge, a bar, and a high end French restaurant all onsite.

Close to trams and the Zuid train station. Nice, clean rooms.

Lovely, chic, clean hotel. The new art rooms are lovely, if not a bit dark, with spacious bathrooms and a great shower. Concierge service was faultless, they couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant looks over the Amstel where the 5 canals meet and is a gorgeous breakfast setting. Breakfast selection is the best I've had in a while. The location is not so good for Amsterdam as it is not central or near any public transport. But it is right next to a conference centre which I think it is linked to. Would definitely recommend for a business trip.

Good place with great breakfast. The rooms were nice, but we did have to ask twice to get our room changed. Still, everyone at the reception is very kind and the overall service is good. Would recommend.

The shower drain seemed to be plugged, resulting in flooding the bathrooms.
Everything else was perfect.

My wife and I were stranded in Amsterdam after our hotel booking was not done by agent. It ended up at Apollo hotel. What an experience! nice staff, nice breakfast. beautiful clean rooms and good neighborhood. we had the 5 nights we enjoyed there and would recommend the Apollo to everyone in South Africa.

Better than most comparable hotels. Only thing is that I don't like to shower in a bathtub, but that might be me, since lots of hotels have that.

Extremely friendly staff present in the hotel. The various areas and rooms have been finished to a high standard and lack nothing. Wonderful place to discover Amsterdam South in contrast to the much too busy center. Breakfast was fine. In addition, The Harbor Club is a great place to spend the evening.

The hotel was great with excellent service. The room was clean, nice and had everything you would expect from a four star hotel. It could be better located compared to distance to central Amsterdam. But there is trams to the center with a bit of walking. Can recommend it if you like walking etc

It was a hotel that I had booked from a local clientele in Amsterdam and I liked it because the location was quiet. I had two blackouts, but I fixed it quickly and the room condition was not bad either.

However, there was a mistake in the booking system, so I did not change the breakfast reservation to breakfast included, so I repeatedly complained about the complaints and apology from the local accountant. I felt very uncomfortable during the repeated process. I feel sorry for the non-English speaking people in the attitude of repeatedly saying "I made a reservation without you breakfast" without trying to check again for the reservation error every time I put a reconfirmation inquiry into the counter. It was very unpleasant.

As a result, it was a mistake on the part of the hotel and we apologized again, but we would avoid this hotel if we come back to Amsterdam.
What I felt was that the hotel was at a low level.
I'm sad to have three more days here yet.

One can enjoy beautiful evenings on their terrace facing the canal, or take a cigar in their cigar lounge if the weather is bad. However, for a SPG-member the hotel is rather average than exceptional. Room was not made 5:30pm, breakfast is Quantity over Quality.

Staffs disappoints. The hotel has renovated rooms and I was not getting one as a platinum member. Breakfast ok but only 3 star level as the options are extremely limited. Ironic that when I asked for omelet the staff just pointed at the scrambled egg on my plate and say "you have egg already".

Fantastic hotel. Close enough to central Amsterdam but far enough away for it to be quiet.

Everything was great, until at the time of check out the staff completely unprepared, uneducated and without respect. He laughed without stopping at the front desk and still called me and my crazy buddy.

Absolutely beautiful rooms, the staff were so helpful especially when we lost our tour group. Catered for special diets well. Spoke excellent english. Beds were so comfortable. Such relaxing views for breakfast

2017 Oct stayed in AS hotel Amsterdam, is a very characteristic hotel, first, downstairs bar, like being in a beer factory. The design of the restaurant is like a warehouse, breakfast is very rich. The room is modern! Near the hotel there are shopping malls, there are casinos. Large supermarkets in the basement, very convenient! love it!

The Apollo is an established name in Amsterdam West, location is good if you have to be there, e.g. for the RAI. Parking is possible on their own lot at a price. The hotel has recently been refurbished with what I would call a rather gothic, somewhat inconsistent but overall interesting result. Staff is very friendly.

Showers don't quite work right and bar tender can't make a gimlet. Other than that, great.

Nice hotel! Clean rooms, pleasant staff. Lots of good bars and restaurants 5-15 minutes walk away in the Pijp and about 5 minutes walking to the tram lines.

I stayed here for a week. The room was nice and the location was great for me since it was right in between the conference center and downtown. However, getting food was difficult, since there was really only 1 restaurant nearby.

The front desk staff were very polite and friendly.
It is a pity that the correspondence of a certain person in charge of the restaurant and catering service was very unpleasant.
It is also good to correspond with the customer to casual flank, but I wonder if it exceeds degree.

Wonderful hotel located close to the city centre, but just a bit off the main tourist zones. The hotel is walking distance to many sights and attractions. The rooms were nicely renovated and we're very clean

On the canal side, about 10 minutes from the city center, the MRT and the streetcar walk about 8-10 minutes, although it is not very convenient, but the hotel is located in a high-class, quiet place, close to the canal, the environment is very beautiful, the room It has only recently been decorated, and the space is much larger than that of the downtown hotel. It belongs to the SPG Group. The restaurant's restaurant has a delicious and delicious meal. The hotel will definitely stay again next time.

The hotel is very nice, with a modern look and the services offered are many. The bike sharing service, whose cost is in line with the prices that you will find around the city on average (rather expensive, alas), will save you long walks to make the big journeys through the center. The bikes are of excellent quality and in perfect condition, said using one of the most widespread bike sharing services in the center that we used the first time as a term of comparison, thinking of going to save money (we saved as much as 1 euro per bike, receiving vehicles in a state that is nothing short of pitiful - moral of the story: listen to me, take them to the hotel!). It is located on the edge of the De Pijp district, in a very quiet area. The center is about a quarter of an hour on foot. The rooms are spacious, well air-conditioned and clean, with all the comforts such as a hairdryer, towels, bathrobes and toiletries. The bed is beautifully comfortable and long, said by one who has difficulty finding a decent bed given the height of 1.90m.

I booked the wrong apollo hotel, and instead it was in koetsiebaan... the receiptionist dealt with the problem as best as she could and completely saved our holiday. Could not have thanked her enough. Staff 10/10

Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms although a bit small. Lovely restaurant and bar staff. Really nice food.

If you get one of the newly refurbished design rooms you are in luck, the older rooms occasionally smell of stale smoke and business hotel 'generic'
